The room is spacious and the overall decoration is modern and simple. The location is almost in Disney, less than 10 minutes by taxi. TV YouTube Netflix everything you can watch. It's a pity that I didn't have time to go to the swimming pool to have a look at the time.

I recently enjoyed 2 days stay on the 5th floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean with modern furnishings. Comfortable bed & pillows! Easy to use tv remote with information & in room dining menu. Ordered a delicious omelet breakfast brought to the room. Enjoyed the inner tubes I’m the pool and DJ music. Excellent assistance from desk staff, valets, concierge, dining staff and texts checking with me if I had any questions. I did and they responded right away! Beautiful, inviting lobby and gift shop.

Great stay at this Marriott Vacation Club property. The property is about 2 miles from the Disney entrance. It offers free parking and is located inside the Marriott Worlds center property. Location: the Sabal Palms is a little difficult to navigate too. There are few signs directing where to go. Your gps will not lead you directly to the property. To get to the property stay to the right when you pull onto World Center DR. You will see the other Marriott Vacation properties on the right. The Sabal Palms is in the back. The great thing about the sabal Palms is that you can walk directly on the Marriot worlds center property in less than ten minutes. Activities: they have plenty of activities to do on the property and can utilize the other vacation properties amenities. You can also use all the amenities at the Marriott world center. Rooms: the best thing about renting a Vacation club property is the space! The room is big enough for a large group. There are two beds in the guest bedroom with a bathroom attached. The master bedroom is massive and leads off to the balcony. The only complaint I have is the master bedroom. The shower is massive with a glass wall. It allows light to pour into the room at night which doesn’t make for a restful night if you like your room pitch black. Property: the property is easy to navigate and very clean. However it is at the back of the Marriott World Center where the dumpsters are. Convenience to Disney, value and safety makes this a great property for your family’s Disney vacation.

We're still here on our honeymoon but since we're waiting for our door battery being replaced, I thought I'd write a review. Despite our trying to make the most of it, the stay has been pretty rubbish. We were first placed in the most far away room possible, right beside the loading area for the conventions which meant it was really loud and we couldn't sit out on our balcony. The plug points didn't work around the room and the iron overheated which was pretty dangerous. When we asked for a new room they told us to come back (didn't apologise or seem bothered). We went back again a few days later and got moved to the outdated Island building. At least the plugs worked and it wasn't as noisy. Well today we got back from Disney Springs and our door wasn't working. We went back up to reception (which is a trek) and were told security would be down to replace the battery. That was 50 minutes ago. Not what we were hoping for on our honeymoon. Overall, it feels like no one cares and the convention guests are more important. We don't feel special and in fact would have been better at a Disney hotel, even if they are more expensive with lower stars. We've still got a week so I'm hoping to update this later once we've had a full stay.

Booked this location for a two night stay for our 5 year anniversary for the purpose of visiting Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure theme parks. Called a day before arrival to see if I could have a bottle of wine or champagne waiting as a small surprise for my wife. The gentleman I spoke to was very polite but informed me that this location didn’t offer such a service. He did say he would make a note on the account that is was an anniversary trip. Upon arrival the following day, the concierge who greeted us offered us a congratulations as we checked in. We were upgraded rooms to a junior sweet and even had our parking fees waived. It was a very thoughtful gesture and really got our trip off to a great start. Every staff member we encountered was very polite and welcoming and we really appreciated it. Room was clean. Did not have a single issue. Only a 10-20 minute drive from Universal with a car rented.

I took my two children to Orlando Disney during the summer vacation, and I am very satisfied with the hotel. The service is very good, there are doormen to help open the door when getting on and off the bus. View room, you can see the hotel's swimming pool from the window, the view is very good. Two double beds are big enough. The hotel has buses to and from the four Disney theme parks, which is very convenient. There is a coffee machine, refrigerator, and no microwave in the room, but there is a microwave available at the vending machine in the lobby. The hotel staff come to clean and make beds every day, but there are no toothbrushes and slippers, so you have to bring your own. The hotel is very close to the Disney shopping mall Spring, walk for a few minutes and buy a lot of gadgets

The hotel is new, breakfast and dinner are included, and the price/performance ratio is high. The room is big enough and the facilities are relatively easy to use. We were a group of three and were given 6 bath towels directly, which was convenient. There are many shuttle buses to Disneyland, and you can also take the shuttle bus after watching the fireworks at night. It is not far from the shopping center of Disney Springs, and it takes about 15 minutes to walk there. Recommended stay

Not even sure where to begin, the stay was THAT fantastic! Lindsay at the Front Desk was just amazing in helping us prior to arrival day and just a wonderful person. Arrival was easy despite being a very big property with many business and conference travelers around the lobby area. Parking was plentiful and close by. The room was recently remodeled and was done VERY nicely. The pools and gym were just wonderful- clean, up-to-date, enjoyable and well kept. Perhaps the best part of the experience was the proximity of the property to Disney Springs, to I-4. to Publix and to the outlet mall were all just wonderful. For comparison, the following night after departing, we stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and my wife commented that the Hilton was just as great as that hotel. In future, I don't ever see myself staying at another Disney resort and that THIS is my Disney hotel for all future stays. My daughter stayed here over Spring Break from college a few months prior to our stay and she had great things to say about her experience on that stay; she grew up on Disney resorts and Disney cruises I had taken her on, so she knows what a nice hotel feels like and this hotel has raised the bar on all future hotel stays....it was THAT great an experience. Kudo's to the staff and the management team for a well run facility and a wonderful staff.

I’m sitting here on my last night and feeling sad, I don’t want to leave. I wanted to write a review because there were so many bad reviews that I was getting a little bummed before I came. First off, do not be afraid of the construction going on. My building was literally right across from it and I barely heard anything or saw anything. Second, everyone keeps talking about how the rooms need updating and I agree to a point. I did not feel my room was dank or worn. It was beautiful. It was clean. We loved it. They cleaned everyday too and even at Animal Kingdom in January we didn’t have that. The Lagoon View is great o highly recommend! We ate at Citricos , and are waiter Giovanni was excellent and the food was fabulous. We were a party of 13 with 8 kids and he handles us with ease. The pools are all great, my kids love them especially the slide pool! The hotel lobby and grounds are beautiful. The location is very good. The monorail makes it easy to go to Magic Kingdom and even going to Epcot didn’t take as long as people on line act like it does! We still totally rope dropped! Bottom line it was a great trip. We were a party of 13 and no one is complaining! Yes it is super expensive. Disney is expensive! Other then that we were really happy and are sad to leave! My only recommendation is when there is an issue and there were a few at check in you go back to throwing lightening lanes at people like the fast passes in the old days! It makes you feel like you are getting some kind of compensation when things aren’t perfect. Just fyi all of our issues were resolved. They were nice about it too!

We stayed here for two weeks during September 2022 and really couldn’t find any fault with the hotel, especially for the price paid. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable and gave great customer service. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, with two pillow choices available (labelled firm and soft) which we thought was a great idea. There are also lots of charging ports fitted into the room which come in very handy. The rooms are on the basic side but for the price paid they’re great value. Housekeeping was also every day which many places surrounding Disney still weren’t offering at the time we stayed, and was one of the reasons we selected the hotel in the first place. The included bus service to the Disney parks is also excellent, and much better than the Disney resort provided buses in our experience. They ran every hour to every park until after closing time and were always on time, with good a/c and a seat available. The hotel is also only a 10 minute walk to Disney Springs, where you could then use Disney transportation to resorts if needed for dining reservations etc. We also stayed during Hurricane Ian and we couldn’t have felt safer there. Every staff member was outstanding and went out of their way to make sure we felt safe, with many working longer hours to do so. The bar and food service stayed open for the duration of the Hurricane too which meant we didn’t even have to worry about getting food/water. All in all this was a fantastic stay and we will be back.

We stayed here during low season in September. The rooms were fairly spacious, housekeeping, maintenance and breakfast buffet restaurant staff were excellent. Good little on-site store, but otherwise limited options. But it didn't matter because Disney Springs is just a short walk away. Bus to the Disney Parks is free, which is fantastic. But don't talk to the desk about the free welcome pack. It was a very hard sell and left me and my family feeling very uncomfortable. The only real downside to our stay.

I've been coming to WDW since 2000, my husband since he was a baby. Our family usually goes about once a year but it's been getting harder to do so as we have 2 dogs. We decided the cabins would be a great idea so we can have them with us. Later, when we opted to leave our furry babies with family instead, we still kept our reservation as we were curious about the ”'Rough' it in comfort,” claims. It is Disney so it should be great, right?! Well, I traveled from Europe and was jet-lagged the first day. I only checked in to drop off groceries as my children were waiting at MK. I didn't think to check for cleanliness, just did the usual check of the beds and left (it is Disney, so it should be super clean is what I thought). Got back extra tired at midnight and went to shower. Found 2 used toothbrushes in shower along with a thick film of soap in shelving. Asked my husband for dish soap and sponge and scrubbed and showered. Too tired, I went to bed. Next day, got up early and left to parks. Again, paid little attention to cabin. Got back at 10pm this time. Look around, the filth was horrible. Dirty windows, stained dirty nook in kitchen, cobwebs, dust everywhere (behind furniture, ceilings, baseboards, moldings), mold all over bathroom ceiling, dirty floors, and TO TOP IT ALL, we grabbed what was labeled as clean linen with a seal for sofa bed to discover a gritty blanket with a BLACK sheet. I called the front desk and told them about bedding and everything else. Was told they will make a report. I said I want lodging up to DISNEY STANDARDS and that this wasn't it. By then it was 11pm and my son fell asleep. I asked for manager to come see me first thing in the morning. Manager comes and I said to please just come in and look around, He took pictures and I showed him mine. He asked that I send him the pictures I took. Didn't even have to argue, he could see exactly how bad the cabin was. He offered to put us in another cabin but given what I could see here, why would I switch cabins? It's obvious what their standard of cleanliness is so I asked to move resorts. The manager was very understanding and without me even asking, he refunded one night's stay. It really was that bad. My advice, if you're going to stay here, take a GOOD look around with lights on and open windows so you can gauge whether you are comfortable. Between being jet-lagged and entire stays at parks, also trusting Disney cleanliness standards, I stayed 2 nights too long. My second resort was a gem, and super clean. Exactly how Disney is supposed to be.

Absolutely a beautiful and Comfortable stay! The pool is really nice and the bar by the pool was nice too! We were in Orlando for 2 weeks so had to use the laundry room at the hotel and it was clean and nice but keep in mind $4 to wash and $4 to dry 1 load. I was charged a resort fee of $30 a night and parking was an additional $20 a night. I did not know this until.check in!! I asked to have parking removed because an extra hidden $50 a night cost was alot!! They did remove the parking said it was because I was an Annual Disney Passholder. I feel like you should know all the cost before you book. Other than the additional fees the hotel and our stay was great!

I really wanted to love this resort. I have read good things and needed to try it for myself. There are good points to the resort. The rooms were comfy and clean. I liked the food options. Riding the boat to Disney Springs was a very relaxing experience with great new views of the grounds. Unfortunately they booked us into a building with no water service. No warning was given. I had mentioned during check-in that we were hoping to get a room and get some laundry done so nearby laundry would be great. We couldn't even flush the toilet. When I called customer service to let them know about the water issue they informed me there wasn't a restoration time but the outage would be temporary. I'm sorry - water availability is actually a need - not a nice option to have. They told me I could get my name on a list and be called back if another room became available with water. Uhh... we packed up and went back down to the lobby. When walking into the lobby there was a sign indicating there was a planned electrical outage for the next morning between 1:30 and 5:00 am. Terrific! No water and no electricity! At that point I was beyond upset and emotional. After wasting another 30 minutes waiting they magically found us a room with water. We went and got laundry started and sat by the closest pool. There was a sign off to the side of one of the gates indicating the pool was closed for refurbishment. However there were guests enjoying the pool so we went ahead and sat down to relax for a bit. Then we all get asked to leave the pool -it's a liability to have us in there we were told. Terrific. But don't worry - we were welcome at the other on-site pools. Again - not one word about the closed pool during check-in. It was a trek to the other pools. Multiple reviews and customer service reps described this a small and intimate resort. I did not find that to be the case at all. It is very spread out and has multiple bus stops. If you don't get a room in one of the buildings next to the lobby/restaurants you will be walking quite a ways. Be prepared for that. No elevators - I knew that going in and think you should as well. Overall I understand that all hotels have maintenance issues. It's how the staff handles those issues that makes the difference. Not being upfront and honest with the guests that you're inconveniencing is completely unacceptable to me. This is a staff and guest experience failure. That's not even ok at a lesser brand - definitely not ok at Disney. I have reached out to customer service - no response at all so far.

We had a great week! Upon arrival we did get a room but it had a bad order coming from an area of the carpet , I politely went to the front desk and they gave me a new room right way…. No delay … very apologetic…. The location was great , the complimentary bus service ran well and if you take an read the information they give you it’s all explained :) . Disney springs was just 1.5 Km down the road, a nice little stroll. Our family enjoyed our stay. We were close to everything. Transportation isn’t provided to Universal but UBER was about $25 /each way , for our family of 4. Becuase this hotel is a Disney Partner Hotel it allows you to access the Extra Magic Hours offered by the Disney Parks, make sure you go to the front desk to get a code to enter on yo ur Disney app. Also warm cookies are offered multiple times throughout your day, just head to the front desk to pick up when you need a cookie treat … 2 bottles of water are also offered each day of your stay . The staff at the hotel said that they are going to begin a major overhaul of the hotel VERY soon, I’ll definitely be back … can’t wait to see what amazing things they will do

I had a prepaid booking. They charged 800$ for incidentals with the POS that gave the “Approved” status. We spend like 1k and they locked us outside of the room and asked us to pay this again the whole amount. They did not recognize the initial payment. Front desk guy Christian very rood, pushing it to the edge of snapping. Eventually I asked to speak to the manager on duty..he got at the front desk in 20-30 minutes, apologizing and saying that everything is ok with the initial payment. We spent 1 hour locked outside by this “system error” The service at the Sofia (downstirs restaurant) is very poor because of the kitchen staff. The roof top restaurant is quite nice for dinner. I waited 30 min for the valet to bring my car. The have no f idea of what they’re doing. You can get only inroom dining after 10pm. Shuttle service only to Disney parks.

On top, you need to pay for parking which is ridiculous. When you call the front desk, it takes over 10 minutes to get anyone on the phone.
