I stayed at City Apart in January during the BOOT exhibition, and so for a total of 18 nights. The reception staff was friendly and the fact that there is a security gate that you can open with you room key is much appreciated. My room was very big and clean. There were 3 beds in it and although I haven't tried them all I was pretty happy with the one I used. The location is excellent! I it is 2 minutes away from a tram station which will take you straight to the exhibition centre. you can It is also very close to the old town (10 minutes walking) miles of you fancy a bit of night life.

The location is very good, right next to the Ocean Food Supermarket, walking to the Asian Super, the train station and the surrounding Asian restaurants are very close, not far from the subway station, and convenient transportation. The room size is quite large, the facilities are very new and the living is very comfortable. However, the central air-conditioning I lived in was not very powerful, and it was hard to wake up in the middle of the night. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation effect is too bad. At 7 o'clock in the morning, some staff began to clean up the rooms. First, the door closing sound is very loud. Not only is the sound loud, but every time they close the door, my bed will shake, so that I will do it later. A nightmare dreams of no one next door but there is always something knocking on the wall. . . The second is that the trolley that puts the cleaning utensils is too noisy, like a subwoofer, and feels that the internal organs are shaking with it. Although there are so many things, this one drawback makes me not want to stay again. . . for reference only. Friends with good sleep quality can still be assured of staying, there is also a table tennis table on the first floor to play.

FANTASTIC location, very close to the tube which is only one stop away from the main station (or a quick walk). The staff were all extremely helpful and the hotel is clean. Breakfast was good although this was the only time we found the staff to be less friendly (well they didn’t speak a single word to us each day) but this wasn’t a problem. Very handy to have the fridge in the room in the hot weather so that we could store cold drinks. The only downside was the bed in room 32 was so uncomfortable that it left me with a lot of back pain .... we would def stay here again for the location and price but would need a different room to try another bed !!

My friend and I recently stayed here, when we were in Germany for a Bayer Leverkusen game. The hotel probably doesn't look much from the outside, plus it is in a very quiet side street, but walk through the door, and you soon realize that it is off a good standard. The reception staff were very friendly, and helpful, as were all the staff throughout our short stay. The room was of a decent size and quality, with bath and shower, television and free to use safe. We had to pay extra for the breakfast as our room deal didn't include it, but at under 15 euros, it was value for money, with a fair selection of hot and cold foods, coffee, tea and various fruit juices. There is also fresh fruit available. I thought that it was good value, as you can eat as much, or as little as you want. The sleep quality, which I am sure you need to know, was excellent, absolutely no complaints on that front, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Oh, forgot to mention the free wi-fi.

Excellent hotel, with warm, courteous and homely service. Beautiful rooms decorated in an innovative design, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast is very good and tasty. Central location, 5 minutes walk to the Königsallee shopping street, and an 8-minute walk to the Hauptbahnhof of Dusseldorf. In two words, highly recommended Good for business and pleasure

It's very convenient to go to the railway station and King's Road. There is a Japanese restaurant on the opposite side of the hotel. Turn left after you get out of the hotel, and there is a store serving Japanese rice balls worth tasting. The hotel service is warm.

Every winter, we like to go away as a couple and leave the kids behind! This year it was at Hotel Favor in Dusseldorf. It is a small, ‘boutique’ hotel with around 36 rooms over 6 floors. It is at one end of the city’s shopping district and right next to the ‘old town’. Although all the main sights are within walking distance, there are lots of public transport options around, and many options for restaurants. The hotel has a modern, up-to-date, and well-kept feel. Everything was clean, with lovely thick carpet in the rooms. The ‘premium’ room we booked had a mini-bar with some soft-drinks and a beer that is included in the price and re-stocked daily. The room overlooked the square and the lovely Christmas market when we stayed. It was quiet, with minimal noise coming into the room, however the market started shutting down at around 9pm. Breakfast was a nice spread, with hot & cold options, and a relaxed affair. On the Saturday morning there was a great celloist paying some wonderful music. I’m glad we left the kids behind! Having stayed in a lot of chain hotels, like Hiltons, etc, I was very happy we didn’t do so this time. At the larger hotel chains, sometimes rooms can be dated, and not well-kept. Hotel Favor was perfect throughout, spacious, and I thought good value in comparison. One tip: we got a taxi to the hotel and spent a bit of time in traffic in the roads near to the hotel. I suggest getting out of the taxi early to walk or getting the train which we did on the way back. With trains it is around 30 mins from the airport, and with taxi around 20 mins. The taxi cost 32 Euros, and the trains around 6 euros for the two of us.

Atmosphere is more or less magic and I liked very much the approach of no-standard hotel. Boring and almost unuseful check-in and check-out steps are reduced to less than minimum. And you immediately feel comfortable: you really feel like living there within a couple of minutes ! Great experience ! TOP !

Stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is a little dated, but is perfectly acceptable. Check in was efficient and we were handed an old fashioned key. Our room was spotless and overlooked the main road but with the window closed you couldn’t hear it at all. The bathroom is a little tatty, but very practicable and shower lotion is provided. Tea and coffee provided in the room. The breakfast was the option of future, pastries, hams, cheeses and hot options (sausage, scrambled egg and meatballs). All very tasty and filling. It’s probably about a 15 min walk to the start of the old town, or a hop on the metro which is virtually outside the hotel. If visiting again, would definitely stay at the hotel

We go 3-4 times a year to Düsseldorf. It was the first (and not the last) time we stayed in Lindenhof hotel. The lady at the reception was very friendly as well when we checked in as we checked out. After your stay you receive a mail with a thank you for staying in the hotel.Always a pleasure to receive such a mail. The hotel itself has a very good situation. A 5 min walk and you are on the Königsallee. 10 min. to the Shadow Arkaden and Altstadt. Also a 10 min. walk to the main trainstation. Furthermore 20 meters away from the hotel you have the entrance of a large parking garage. (Exit is in the Charlottenstrasse, go right and then again right in the Grupellostrasse and you arrive after a 2 min walk at the hotel) The metro in the Oststrasse is only 150 meters from the hotel, which brings you directly to the Heinrich Heine Allee (second stop and center of the city); Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Alltough we were on the corner of the Oststrasse and Grupellostrasse it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet is very good with a large choice (fresh goods) So to discover Düsseldorf I can really advise this hotel.

Germany’s accommodations, Düsseldorf included is expensive and we were happy to find this guesthouse at that very fair price, very well located. We could walk to the Altstadt and were really close to the main train station. The U-bahn/subway is just around the corner, we could go everywhere in no time! No car passes on the street so it is always calm and around you have all commodities: u-bahn, train station, bakeries, restaurants, bars and shops. The guesthouse is simple but very clean and it is a pleasure to meet the owners, they are so nice and helpful! We had internet, TV, sink and shower in our room. We shared the wc with only 3 other rooms (if fully booked), and it was very clean. We got tea and coffee one afternoon in our room, offered by the owner, it was very nice. We enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse ! And we recommend it! :)

satisfaction! Hotel parking is more expensive! 20 minutes walk from the train station and the city! There are many Europeans in the hotel. The parking lot is very convenient on the third floor and the large supermarket on the first floor is very convenient for life!

It’s very close to the airport and it’s a five-minute walk. It’s very convenient to take a rest for a night if you are connecting. There is a supermarket on the arrival floor of the airport, which is convenient for shopping. The hotel has a restaurant, but one was opened during the epidemic. The original Japanese restaurant is not open anymore. .

I had 25 people traveling in from all over the world for to participate in the Allegheny Technologies Incorporated Leadership Development Program for managers. I had several options available to choose from between Dusseldorf and Cologne and I'm thankful I chose the InterContinental Hotel in Dusseldorf. I worked with Miriam Roettger in the sales department for two months leading up to the event and she was so helpful. Working via email when there is a 7 hr. time difference, cultural differences and language challenges can be a bit overwhelming; however, Miriam made this seamless. I arrived ahead of my group and check in was very quick and extremely friendly. The rest of my group whom were flying in from all over Europe had their flights canceled due to bad weather. I worked with the hotel to ensure this delay wouldn't impact our participants when they were in deed to arrive. Management was wonderful to work and assured me our participants would have a room upon their arrival. Both Mohammed Bouskri and Thomas Krieger from the Concierge desk were outstanding to work with and very attentive to our needs. They helped arranged transportation from the airport for our participants, recommended restaurants and helped make reservations. I wouldn't have been able to provide such a world class experience for our leaders without the help of Miriam, Mohammed or Thomas. I'd be remiss if i didn't mention the front desk service, everyone was so nice, kind and helpful. A very wonderful experience from day 1.

The breakfast was good and the location was good, ten minutes walk from the main fire of Duse, the hotel is on the subway, but the room is really small, really small, really small! And the bathroom decoration is average! Obviously the decoration of other hotels in Germany for 60 euros a night! It's only good to look outside, we regret it when we enter the room! Really not worth the price!

Well located modern hotel near the Rhine and near the Fernsehturm, walking distance from the old city center of Düsseldorf. Quiet area, but still a lot of restaurants and fancy bars are close to the hotel property. Car parking under the hotel. Public transport available to take you to the Hauptbahnhof or elsewhere. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom with rain shower is trendy and big enough.

Pros - -Everything very clean -Large room -Good location -Friendly staff Negatives -Concierge wasn't very proactive. I first asked for a restaurant recommendation by the river and was told to go to the Grill House which was no where near the river. Second asked to book a specific Thai restaurant. It wasn't available which of course isn't there fault. But I wasn't given any other recommendations and just told it wasn't available. I would have at least expected them to offer some suggestions proactively. - The Maître D' at the lounge/restaurant was quite rude. He wouldn't even let me up the steps until i showed him my room key even after explaining I was a hotel guest and was simply trying to get to room. He physically blocked my entrence. It was very off putting and not at all welcoming. He apologised once I showed him a room key. -Room technology is showing its age and not working correctly. Room is controlled by touch screens of which only 1/2 of worked when we checked in and the other broke on the last night. This meant we couldn't control lighting, curtains and air con, was offered a new room but didn't change due to being 10pm at night. We switched off the room manually using the switch board. This should be checked before guests check in. -Spa and Pool area is bookable at the moment so due to Covid. We booked an hour and slot and somebody else was using the facilitates at the time we booked. No one was manning the door and we didn't want to share a sauna so we left. -Breakfast restaurant was full and we had to sit out in the lobby. I am not sure if all the diners were hotel guests but it would have been nice to give in house guests priority seating first. -No self service coffee was available in the living room due to covid which is totally fine. It would have been nice if the staff member proactively offered coffees and tea as a replacement. Overall it was an okay hotel but nothing special. Having stayed at the Capella in Singapore It definitely doesn't live up to the same standard.
