I think it is 2 〜 3 minutes walk from Asakusa Guchi from Ueno Station Central Ticket Ticket. It was very convenient because there were many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel room booked a twin. The bed and bathtub were large and rested slowly. The amenities were taken by themselves from the front desk, with cleaning, face washing form, makeup water, emulsion, and bath salts. Breakfast was a good amount of sandwiches, soup, drinks, yogurt and delicious. It's good when it's crowded because you can carry it to the room. I don't care about the noise and it was a hotel I wanted to use again. Thank you.

I have decided to stay at this hotel in Tokyo. I would like to say that everything is very satisfying, but the breakfast venue is almost never set completely. I don't think the breakfast restaurant is directly operated by the hotel, but as far as I can see during my stay, the day and night business is quite busy and the taste and customer service are popular. That's why it's even more disappointing. Even if you give up the type and taste of the menu, I want you to accept customers at least in a perfectly ready state.

Good side: very close to Ueno Station, some waiters will speak a few English, the waiters are very warm, the breakfast is very good, the room is clean. Bad aspect: the hotel is a bit dated, my room has a musty smell, the room can't see the scenery except the concrete wall - the hotel is surrounded by concrete walls, not connected to another hotel. I stayed here for one night and it is very close to Ueno Station. From Asakusa exit or Ueno station exit, walk down the steps, cross the road at the crosswalk (no traffic lights) and turn left, cross the road then turn left, then walk less than half a street, this hotel appears on your right hand side. Staff are friendly. I checked in at 1 pm. Arrived at the hotel at 10 am, and after paying the room fee, I asked the waiters, because I was going to see a friend in Shibuya, can the hotel help me with my luggage. They were happy to help me with my luggage and when I came back my luggage was already in my room. I booked a double room because it didn’t look much bigger than a single room and I was happy I did. The room was small...but after all this is Tokyo...I’ve lived in smaller. The bed is a typical bed... It is not bad with other Japanese hotels I have stayed in. The bed is similar to the American double bed... It is a little smaller. Breakfast cost about 1,000 yen... Japanese breakfast. A more detailed discussion will be held later. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but it wasn’t expensive for my harvest, many places were open in the morning and the type of food here wasn’t quite in line with my low carb diet (mostly desserts and cooked food). As mentioned, my room had a musty smell but it was just one night, the price was below $100. The room itself was clean, the room had flat TV, small table, no wardrobe, but there were hangers and hooks to put clothes. There was an alarm in the room and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and soap. When I checked in, the waiter gave me a bag of lotion for the foam bath. The air conditioning was very good, in fact, my room became very cold so I turned it off. I have many hotels in Japan where the air conditioner doesn't even cool. My room was quiet. The only time I could hear someone talking was when I went downstairs to the lobby. My room number was 702, in a corner. Breakfast is served from 7am to 9am and the restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Nothing special but the food is good. When you walk into the restaurant, cold meals are already set on the table, such as Japanese stew (salted vegetables), seaweed (seaweed used to make rice side dishes), jade (Japanese omelet) and so on. When you show them the breakfast label on your door card, the waiter will take you to your seat, and in a short while the waiter will bring me the grilled salmon, miso soup and rice I want. It's already very full for me to eat. I saw a few Japanese men order natto, I didn't want it, they ordered extra rice, there is no charge here. The waiter brought me a cup of green tea and a small cup of orange juice. I asked for a glass of water, and if I wasn't so full, I'm sure they would give me more orange juice if I opened up. The network here is wired LAN, but there is no connection point (it looks a bit like a telephone line). The hotel I stayed in Takasaki has an interface and my router has a socket. So basically I have two sockets. The hotel lobby has Wi-Fi, but the lobby is small, crowded, and smoking is allowed there. After breakfast, I took my iPad to the lobby to go online, and just connected to the Internet, two people sat down to smoke. It was disgusting. The hall looked a bit crowded... two tables, with about 4-6 chairs next to it, some of the luggage of the residents piled up, two computers on one table, coffee machine, big TV, a large copier, and some other things. It felt good when there were no people in the lobby...but when there were a lot of people, it looked crowded and small. On the last day in Tokyo, I left the room at 10am and they let me leave my luggage in the lobby when I was out. When I returned, there was still 40 minutes of free time to kill before I went to the airport, and they were happy to let me stay in the lobby and even turned on the TV for me. It was convenient to go around near Ueno Station. I took the Yamanote Line to Harajuku and Shinjuku for less than 200 yen (about 20 minutes). I took the Hibiya subway line (then the Tsukiji Fish Market on foot) from Ueno Station to Tsukiji Station - about 15 minutes. Kyodo Station (Airport Train) is just across the road from Ono Station (about $30 to the airport, 45 minutes drive). There are many shops and restaurants next to the station. On the other side of the station is Ono Park, you can go there if you have time. There are temples, gardens, museums, zoos and so on. It’s free to go to the park, but the zoo charges and so on. I turned around the park for an hour and a half and haven’t turned around half.

1⃣️First of all, it’s great to book such a good location at this price, and it’s the cherry blossom season. Ueno is only a few minutes’ walk away, and it’s not a hassle to bring large luggage. 2⃣️The size of the room is also very good, much larger than the previous booking, you can open a few luggages, the room with double bed next to it is also very good, the bathroom is very small, super small, and the shower is a small bathtub 3⃣️There is a small refrigerator in the room, but there is no free bottled water 4⃣️The more tasteless thing is... the room door lock is the key. You have to give the key to the front desk every time you go out, and return to the hotel at 1 am at the latest. Every time you buy good things and go back, it will be troublesome to hand over the keys repeatedly. 5⃣️It feels like folk customs. The owner has a microwave oven for use. You can buy a lot of food in the convenience store. There are vending machines in the corridor. 6⃣️I bring my own toiletries, the disposable quality is very bad

This is a basic hotel that will allow you a comfortable rest after a day of touring the city. The room we got has 2 beds and 2 sofas. Our family of 4 can comfortably move inside. The beds are clean, and the bathroom is clean, too. There is no mini-bar, but they provided some mineral water. They do not clean the room on 2 successive days, so we had to put out our trash just outside our door. You can request cleaning every other day. You can get fresh towels, though, plus trash bags every time you need it. Same with tea. There is a laundry area on the 2nd floor that has a coin-operated washer and dryer. The hotel is quiet despite being along a main road and near the Ueno station. Its proximity to the Ueno station is a huge advantage in moving around. There is a nearby 7-11 and Family Mart, which makes it so convenient to buy food.

Stayed here for 1 night. It was a clean, comfortable hotel and I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit. Pros: Location – very close to Ueno Station. Take the IRIYA exit and it’s a short 5 minute walk from there. There’s a convenience store (Lawson) that’s around the corner from the hotel to load up on any food/snacks/drinks. The surrounding area doesn’t offer much, so if you want nightlife you’ll need to walk 10-15 minutes towards the south of Ueno Station/Ueno Park. Reliable WIFI Night staff – friendly and efficient Luggage storage – they will hold your luggage after you check out while you go explore the city. Free coffee available in lobby Cons: Noise – hotel faces a busy street so I began hearing cars around 5am. Be sure to bring earplugs. AM staff – she didn’t seem to be the friendliest, maybe I caught her at a bad time. Tight space – room was pretty confined and had no closet. Also, they didn’t seem to have a room to store any luggage so it was all left out in the lobby. There’s not much space if you want to sit down and relax.

I expected that the hotel could provide better amenities at a price point of around 132usd a night for a room of around 11m2 with a super-single bed. I asked for rental of adapter and phone charger from the reception and was told that there was none, though this was not what was displayed on the brochure (refer to photo) found in the room. The staff also did not explain why there was none, and replied “no” to me despite me trying to tell her what i wanted. Would recommend choosing other hotels at this price point.

This hotel is very close to the Metro Ginza Line and there are many cafes and restaurants and shops nearby (underground, 2 malls in Ueno and Ameyoko street) so you will not be hungry and bored. The staff are also friendly and helpful. They greeted us every time we entered the hotel lobby and they also assisted us in our requests. Our Superior Double room was spacious and we were able to move around with 2 luggages. The room was clean, and bottled water was also provided every day during our stay. This is so far the best hotel we have stayed in Tokyo considering the price versus the location, room space and service. We will definitely stay here again if we were to fly into Narita Airport.

Location was good, (use Iriya exit at Ueno station). However bed was pretty hard and not comfortable to sleep on. On the mixed gender levels they did not provide the female skincare items (e.g. makeup remover, facial foam and cleanser) which were provided in all-female levels. Only toiletries provided was shampoo, soap and conditioner, others need to buy. Towel and hairdryer are rentable. It would be better if they charged a room rate that includes all the toiletries and amenities. Breakfast was decent and the shared eating area at the first floor was a good size. They allow for luggage storage only on the day of check-in and check-out.

Value business hotel that has just been made this year. It is an economic hotel that is a little lost to the old established in the location, but the design that has been met in the present age is shining. I feel like a concept similar to a new hotel in Taiwan and China's big cities. [Location] About 3 minutes walk from Iriyaguchi, Ueno Station. Seven eleven and family are on the way. It is less than 々 away from the downtown area in front of the station. [Room] Overall small, but the facilities are now full. There are outlets and fine light adjustments on the pillow, and there are ranges and refrigerators, so it is also convenient to do a little work. There is also a laundry room and it seems to be good for mid-term stays. [Service] It is a service with light 々. There is also an automatic check-in machine, which is considered to be an efficiency importance. It is rare for a Japanese hotel to get bottled water.

The location of the hotel is very good, the Ueno train station walks along the street for a few minutes and then crosses the road. The house is large and comfortable, the equipment is adequate, the kitchen is open, the front desk is very polite and the introduction is very detailed. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants nearby, and you can walk to Ueno Park and museums. Going to Hengding is also a 10 minute walk. If you don't want to live in the ultra-small hotel room in Shinjuku, staying in Ueno, it is 30 minutes to take JR round trip. It is also quick and easy to take the Skyline back and forth to Narita Airport.

The location is good with lots of food places and convenience stores available near the hotel. Service attitude was alright but could be better for one of the duty manager. Typical Japanese business hotel - Room was small so if you’re bringing the large size luggage, do take note of it. Daily room clean up comes with fresh set of clothes (plus size may not be able to fit into the top) everyday so didn’t had to wear my own sleepwear and they will leave reminder on the door if you have not requested to change your bed linen for more than 2 days. The TV has limited English channels and not a smart tv so you can’t cast to screen and watch your show… but you get to see the status of washing machine if you’re thinking of doing laundry at any point in time of the trip. (¥500 for 120 min washing and drying of clothes (regular load), ¥400 for 80 min washing and drying of clothes (small load), ¥100 for 30 min of drying) Toilet seat was heated and comes with bidet so it’s good, especially in cold weather. Separate bathtub and shower area from the toilet and it comes with a little stool for you to sit when showering like true Japanese style. Check in and check out was smooth and efficient. You can store your luggages with them before check in and after check out if your flight is still a while away. There’s an area at L2 for refreshment and disposables like tea and coffee, toothbrush and toothpaste etc but no bottled water available in the room. Overall - will recommend

It only takes 10 minutes from the B&B to Shinjuku in Wang District, which is a good choice! Our family of 5 people (2 large and 3 small), the room was very clean, as the photo introduced on Trip.com; There is a large room with 2 double beds and the other room with a double bed, which is just enough to sleep in the larger room than 3 children. The homestay provides toothbrushes, shaving cream, shower gel, shampoo, moisturizer and basic tea bags and coffee. And the same good thing is that he can cook there, and I will book this one next time! Also make a Shabu Shabu!

The location is really good, 5 minutes walk from the subway station. I read the comments before that there is no cleaning, but it is not true. There is a notice on the door before 11 am saying ”need to be cleaned”, and the aunt will clean it. There is a kettle, microwave, and small refrigerator. It is very convenient to buy lunch boxes from the supermarket opposite and heat them up. I stayed there for 10 days and it was quite comfortable. The disadvantage is that there is the sound of cars passing by at night, which can't be helped in this location. Also, the washing machine and dryer are relatively old. Everything else is good. The front desk can also speak English, so there is no problem in communication.

My first impression was that the door to the room was very close to the bed, but on the other hand, I didn't feel it was cramped during my stay. I didn't notice it when I checked in late at night, but when I woke up in the morning, I was glad to see the top of Mt. Fuji clearly from the window. The shampoo and other bath soaps were in large bottles, which were normal, but there was also a bottle of foam soap for washing your face and hands, which was nice. The bottle had POLA written on it. The bed was comfortable and supported my body well, so I slept well. The table, chair, slippers, etc. seemed to be quite well-used. I also noticed some small pieces of lint-like garbage on the hallway and floor of the room, and wrinkles in my pajamas (which were washed, of course). However, considering the price, I think that's about right. Overall, it was good.

With any brand new hotel you expect a few hiccups, but my layover stay at the Metropolitan Haneda didn’t have a single one. Easy access from Haneda via the monorail (one stop away) and a short walk from the station to the hotel front door. Helpful staff, easy check in, efficient room with a comfy bed and one of the best hotel showers I’ve experienced. This was a great way to spend my 16 hour layover in Tokyo. Breakfast was included in my very economical room charge and included Western and Asian fare. Scrambled eggs were not as hard-cooked as most Americans like them, and much of the hot food needed to be kept warmed a little more than it was, but all in all a good buffet.

This is my first time renting a residential hotel🫣🫣so I thought the code sent by Trip.com was the password to get the key. From daylight to dark😓We spent several hours but couldn’t get the key, and we couldn’t contact anyone Relevant people help 😞 When I went there, I wanted to give up at 11:00 in the evening, but I was so embarrassed that I found the customer service agent of Trip.com. Luckily, the customer service staff responded to my phone very quickly, although I finally had to get the password for me at midnight , but at least I don’t want to live on the street 🥲🥲🥲But after this experience, I will definitely not rent these hotels again. I don’t feel at ease because no one has handed over them. In the end, the hotel replied that there is a send password for me, but what I received is exactly It was only sent to me at 11:17 on the night of 2/4, and I have not received it before. On the contrary, the hotel sent to fill in all the information of the owner and the insurance related information, and I received it😞😞😞 Really disappointed, but I am used to good reviews It’s just that I feel uncomfortable when I find a problem and I don’t want to solve it immediately and I want to continue to push the problem on the other party😓

This is really about a 3-4 minute walk once you leave Tokyo Station, take Yaesu Central Exit. Once you cross the big street outside the station, it is only one block to a set of lights, left a very short ways, then right 2 or 3 doors, check in is on the 2nd floor (2F). There are signs in English high up and near the entrance. We stayed twice this trip. Check in was prompt. We had a twin room, 2 single beds. The rooms were very clean small as expected, so 2 beds worked better, nobody sleeping against the wall. Everything we needed, fridge, two pillows each (soft and hard), kettle, tea, coffee, TV, good lights, wifi, hangers, pants press, great soaps, shampoo and nice towels. Also, pajamas. There was a microwave and ice near the front desk area. We stayed a second time and the both rooms were identical except for the view. The first one had a view of building construction underway next to our hotel with a small bit open to see the weather. The second was higher up and overlooked the new building next to it. Not sure if that view will stay like that. A hotel view of a building next to it is common in Japan. We only slept and showered there so no view was no issue for us. There are 2 Family Marts and a 7-11 about 3-4 minute walk away also, plus other restos, more for the afternoon or night but there is a nice soba restaurant (Komoro Soba) that is open for breakfast which we enjoyed. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful and the next time in Tokyo, we'll plan on staying there again.

The room is quite big, and the sofa bed can accommodate four people. It is suitable for a family of three to travel here, because many hotels in Japan have a limit on the number of people, and three people have to book two rooms. It is more suitable to book this apartment. It is not far from the subway station Kuramae Station and Asakusa Station. It is right by the Sumida River. It is very convenient to see the night view of the Sky Tree and go to Sensoji Temple. There are not many restaurants around, but the subway can reach many business districts, which is not a big flaw. The nearest subway station is Mori****a Station. There are 2 lines, Oedo Line (1) and Shinjuku Line (2). Very strategic to go anywhere. At Exit 3 Mori****a Station, there is an elevator, but the location is a bit hidden (just follow the elevator picture instructions). So, no worries if you bring a big suitcase. From Exit 1, stay on the road about 100 meters. Anyway close. . Check-in time starts at 15:00, check-out maximum 10:00. When we arrived from Osaka at 9:00, we were allowed to use the bathroom and toilet and rest in the 3rd floor lounge until waiting for check-in time. . There are many 24-hour mini-mart around the hotel such as Familymart, 1, and Lawson. Less than 100 meters, there is also a friendly Muslim restaurant called Edo-men Kumahachi, a chain with OAK HOTEL EDO. But, it feels less suitable in our tongue. The sauce is too spicy and too thick. Please try it for yourself, wonder if it fits. . OAK HOTEL EDO is a hostel but a hotel. There is only one mixed dorm room or mix dormitory containing 5 bunk beds for 10 people. The rest are all private rooms from the 1st floor to the 10th floor (of course there is an elevator). If you are more suitable for private rooms and have budget, please check yourselves on Agoda's website. The private room is various. We are eight (6 adults, 1 teenager 16 years old, 1 9 year old child) occupied a mix dorm on the 2nd floor (room 205). At that time, there were 2 other guests joining. Yes, they allow children to stay, as long as under parents' supervision so they don't bother other guests and have to pay a normal fee. . The bed and pillows were clean and soft. The sheets and blankets are clean. Can be replaced every day but must be opened by yourself. Inside the room, there are lamp lamps, one power outlet, and two USB ports. In the mix dorm room there is a window facing the street. So there is air circulation and entering the sunlight. Facilities in the room: locker, powder room alias dressing room, complete with hair dryer even polish (must borrow to the reception), hanger, slipper, and refrigerator. There is AC and heater as well. Oh yes, the Wi-Fi is very good, the room lights are off at 23:00, the between the bunk beds are very tight if you want to throw the luggage out, but we can use the corners of the hallway. We booked the large king room which provided an extremely comfortable stay for two in Tokyo! The hostel is well situated, within a five minute walk from three different metro lines, as well as various convenience and grocery stores and restaurants. The room itself was large and comfortable, although in the winter, the floor hall remained very cold. The space is modern and clean and we only once saw anyone else on our floor. There is noise from outside the building (most notably a bell that chimed at 4:30 pm), but we were able to get excellent sleep. We stayed on the seventh floor, which only had female showers, but it was not a problem to go down one flight for the male showers. The cafe provides delicious breakfast options, from a full breakfast plate to granola or a pastry. They also have decaf, which can be more difficult to find in Tokyo. The downstairs lounge is stylish and comfortable with wonderful drink and snack items (we did not have a full dinner) as well as an excellently curated playlist. Finally, the staff was always polite, helpful, welcoming, and warm! Citan is highly recommended if you do not mind sharing a shower and bathroom with others.

Although I only stayed for one night, I had some nice chats with some of the people working here. Social hostel with a chill common area/room and bar. From the looks of it also organises nice and social activities, has recommendations for places to go eat and much more! Surely will consider this place again next time I visit Tokyo. Oh and have I mentioned already how central and close it is to the train station? 😄

It is 10 minutes from the insane part of SHINJUKU station, so it's really wonderful to be close but not besieged with all that hyperstimulation. The walk is easy as it is on a main street, so you can’t get lost. Like the other MIMARUs we stayed at, this was fairly new and wonderfully clean. The lay-out is really nice as all 4 of us had some privacy. It was roomy for a sitting area, dining set, and a small kitchen (well-stocked, although we didn’t use). No view but we were on the second floor. The beds were comfy, and the kids each had a large bunk berth (probably bigger than a capsule hotel, yet had lighting and USB inside). Any family who prizes having a good bed (you are going to need it after all the walking in Tokyo) would have a really good stay.

Great hotel in a quieter area of Tokyo. The popular Akihabara neighbourhood is within walking distance. Check-in process was easy and staff were helpful. Room was clean, quiet and nice. It had air conditioning, a mini fridge and a nice bathroom. The hotel has a laundry area with washing machines and dryers. No laundry detergent needed as the machine automatically dispenses it. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I recommend going to the breakfast area on the earlier side as it gets very busy from 8-9:30. Convenience stores, cafes, and a grocery store are all nearby, along with 3 train/subway stations that allow you to easily get around Tokyo. We used Bakuroyokoyama and Iwamotocho stations to access the Toei subway and Barocho station to access the JR train.

We stayed 4 nights at the Mimaru Tokyo Hatchoburi when we travelled to Tokyo for a holiday in June 2023. The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us, and the bunk beds were an absolute delight for our two children who are aged 7yo and 5yo. There was a small dining area which I really appreciated because it provided a nice space for us to have meals at, and for the kids to be at when they colour/draw/play. As we have young children, the little kitchenette was a great plus. Location wise, the apartment hotel is a mere 3-5 mins walk to Hatchoburi Station which provided direct lines to Tokyo Station, Tsukiji Outer Market and Ginza. There are also a few convenience stores (including 7-Eleven) and eateries very nearby. There is a soba shop just at Exit 5B of the train station and I found their soba really delicious and not expensive at all. All in all, we had a super pleasant and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend if you are travelling as a family and need the extra beds. Will be staying again when we holiday next in Tokyo!

I admit, I was nervous about staying here, having read a lot of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. The hostel was clean and quiet, in a great location (close to Shinjuku, with other stations nearby). As an introvert, I loved the self-service concept - I could check in, check out and get breakfast without having to wait for staff. Speaking of breakfast, for a free breakfast I was impressed - coffee, juice, toast, eggs and yoghurt. I found the bed really comfortable and spacious - I also appreciated having a shelf for smaller items. I found the other guests were generally quiet and respected quiet hours. I've noticed some reviews mentioning the rooms are untidy - there isn't really anywhere to store larger luggage, so it tends to get piled in any available space. Smaller luggage will fit in the bunk with you. Showers and toilets were far cleaner than I'd been led to expect from the reviews, and there were plenty of them. I liked how there were common areas for being social (kitchen and reception) and for when you wanted some quiet (coworking space and outside dorms). However, I found that sometimes the coworking would ”close” (staff would ask you to leave) without warning, so it was difficult to plan around when you could use the space and when you couldn't. If the coworking space is not going to be available during the stated hours, it would be nice to have some warning. But all in all, I would happily stay here again.

Nice hotel although definitely could be cleaner - the elevators are dirty and also room was not cleaned very well before I arrived, dirty bathroom. The free breakfast in the morning is very nice. Not a fan of the area / touristy and slightly seedy at night. There are nicer areas to stay in in Tokyo

As a facility, I am very grateful for the microwave oven and the hot water heater in the room. The bed was also comfortable. The TV is very large for the room, so it was just good to go down to the bed and go down to the window... The toilet seat is fitted to the body and comfortable. The body was narrow when standing on the washbasin (the toilet bowl (seat) immediately on the right hand of the bathtub)...So it was hard to wash the face. There are glasses and mags, but there are no cutlery such as cherry blossoms and spoons, so I thought it would have been good to check in advance.

I stayed here alone on a trip. The room was also very beautiful and had a feeling of cleanliness. There are also necessary amenities in the lobby, As soon as you leave the hotel, there is a 24-hour supermarket and convenience store, which is very convenient. Even when I used it on a Saturday, it was a good value for money. It's a little far from Tokyo Station, but if I have the chance, I would definitely use it again, so I highly recommend it.

Pro - Good location. Less than a 3 mins walk from Otorri Station on the Keikyu Line if you are coming from the airport. From the hotel it is about 30mins to Yokohama on the same line southwards. Airport shuttle in the morning makes it convenient for visitors who are flying off in the morning. Cons - While we appreciate that breakfast was provided in a bento box, drinks were not included. And while it did not affect us as we were flying off in the morning, those catching a afternoon or evening flight would have to find their own way to the airport.
