We got 2 separate beds in the room and we went back with a request to upgrade it with a queen bed - and voila they did it. Overall our stay was relaxing and the service was good. Will recommend to other travelers.

|8.49km from city centerIt was 2 times business there because everything was full and overpriced in Stuttgart City (for event). Solides 3* Hotel with ”timeless” furnished rooms, functionally furnished, e.g. apartments with fully equipped mini-kitchen, e.g. over two levels with turning stairs: you can also make a few days holiday. A pleasant mattress, rooms/baths very clean, service is absolutely friendly and helpful, breakfast is not only rich but also tasty. You can not hear the airport (because the area is side by side to the landing), But for this the passing street in front of the house (but little traffic, could sleep up to 6 pm at open window). The building is about 100 years old, well renovated with modern bathrooms and sound-iso windows. Open to the city about every 10 minutes by bus before the door and switch to the metro, but takes about 40 minutes to the city centre. With car you can get better off if you want to go to the landscapely charming environment :) Come back (especially if the price/performance ratio is better again).

That's why we were treated shortly and unfriendly. Eating was very good. After dinner we were ignored. When we wanted to order coffee with apple strudel, it couldn't be closed, the kitchen could be closed, the coffee could be closed, and when we wanted to order a drink after the coffee, it was briefly replied that it was the last round. They were going to close at 22:00, no one had told us. The room was good, beds were fine, bathroom simple. Our friends had a much smaller room somewhere in the corner of the hotel with a bathroom where you could hardly turn around. The shower cord that sticks to your body when you douche, not hygienic, near the bed, there was little place to stand, this room was not worth the money compared to our room.

Positive: The B&B concept and the friendly lady at the reception as well as the good location at the Stuttgart airport, five minutes by car. Room still quiet. Negative: we had booked two rooms as a family with children, but these were then on different floors despite the request. Disgrace. Long waiting time when checking in. The floor in the bathroom was not completely clean under the toilet. Therefore, only three points, or more four or five.

Great vending machine really reasonable and could get coffee and snacks. Reception very polite and took decent size though I could smell sewerage in the bathroom often. I didn’t like the fact it's absolutely no where near any coffee shop, bar or anything apart from offices and a gorgeous bakery only open Monday to Friday Sieffels. just around the corner plus at weekends trains are every half hour not great when you are tired. Few times had to close the window at 6am as people in the courtyard talking real loud. Check out is 12 noon however this guy cleaner opened the door to our friends bedroom as they were leaving One last thing don’t even think about UBER taxis or taxis they are megga expensive cost is 40 euros for a 6Km journey plus 88 euros from the airport to this hotel.

|1.74km from city centerWe had preciously stayed at the Aloft in Munich, and were impressed enough to choose the Aloft chain again for a recent short visit to Stuttgart. We were not disappointed. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps from the UBahn (one stop from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of stops away from the main centre) and is part of a new shopping complex with a range of stores and eating outlets. Facilities are modern, clean and well appointed, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were especially impressed with the helpfulness of the reception staff, all of whom went out of their way to look after our needs. One of our party was without vital medication, and hotel reception took the trouble both to identify the best local medical centre to obtain a prescription and to give detailed directions for finding it. We would certainly stay here again for future visits to the city.

If no major events are taking place in the area, cheap prices and offers are available. The car route to the deep garage is good, but then you need to find the right outlet in the huge deep garage of the shopping centre. The hotel is not central in Stuttgart, but in the foretown, the connection with the S-Bahn (5-10 min walking distance) is also good in the evening. Reception and check-in quickly, polite, uncomplicated. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, and functional, but no luxury. Some rooms on the main street can be quite loud at open windows. On the other hand, you can sleep very quiet. In summer it can also warm in the rooms depending on location and sunlight. The breakfast buffet was always very good, at the moment the choice is significantly restricted by the health situation, but the quality is still acceptable. Whoever is aware of the situation, for whom stay here is worth its price.

However, during those days we were building roads everywhere. Basically, the road was a one-way street. On a lap, the room did not have air conditioning, it was a bit stuffy after the sun, and there was a balcony. I did not feel hot when I slept with the door open at night.

The surrounding Bohnviertel (bean quarter) i delightful, with plenty of shops and character. It is reasonably priced, the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and the room was good, clean and warm. The breakfast buffet was varied and tasty. It's a shame that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as I would have loved a cup of tea after strolling round Stuttgart. that aide, I would recommend this place whole-heartedly.

And the staff was great, always there when needed. The size of the room is spectacular: really large room with living room, desk and balcony with table and chairs. The style of the room and its furniture are still remitted to other times, but still today they are well kept except for the moquette,consumed and maquillated both inside the room and in the corridor. The bathroom was probably put in hand in a more recent time than the room but the construction was made with extremely cheap materials and you see a lot;instead of the shower there was a date-date hydromassage bath and I don't think it worked. The hotel has been very close to the hotel, but the bathroom has been functional to what it needed; it is very negative to note the lack of a vacuum cleaner. The hotel has come very in the years, is also being renovated at the moment. The outskirts in the rooms we were allocated have been very closed. The restaurant and the bar were “Today”. This sign was valid for both evenings - without date. Sorry, because the hotel is located in a business area and in the nearest area there are no alternatives to the supply. The refrigerator listed on Booking.com in the offer does not exist; we were referred to the home page of the hotel where it is not (more) listed - but the pictures of the rooms show a refrigerator. Therefore, please note. Not many televisions to receive. It was praiseful to allocate a new room as the handbrace was separate from the hose and you have no house service at the hotel on the weekend. After the complaint, however, we were told that the shower was operational and we received a new room for free. If you consider the pure shower tube to be used as intact, we seem to have to rethink our view of a shower garniture. But as I said, we are lying and now have a home ban. I wish future guests a more beautiful stay.

As soon as we arrived (5 p.m.) we found no one at the reception, we had not been told that we should have checked in automatic after 14 p.m. We called the number that was written on the door and we were told how we should do. Then we thought about the payment of the parking that was just in front of the hotel and, found the payment column we tried to pay (€ 10.30 for the whole day). The parking meter did not accept either the bankomat card or the credit card , we could not even pay cash because we did not have all those coins (he did not even accept the banknotes), so we called the receiving service who told us that the parking was not them and he did not even know how to solve the problem. My problem: at last we asked the reception of another hotel nearby if we could change 10 euros in coins and fortunately they did. After 5 gg from our stay I receive a mail where I am informed that the reception is not available after 14:00 and check in is to be made automatically with the outdoor car and also that the parking there front costs 10.30 per day but The hotel is a hotel that is located 150 m from the hotel and is parked in another hotel with 8 euros per day. Then I wonder : but I have to have all this valuable information when I've already returned from my trip??? And then, he couldn't tell me at the telephone the receptionist that there was another parking nearby??? !!!! I'm really angry and disappointed! The organisation is bad! To not talk about the receptionist's zero availability. The rest would also be possible if it was not for the little room space, but it will certainly not be the reason that will not make me return there again.

|7.52km from city centerThis hotel had many issues. It was selected because there was a big event in Stuttgart at the moment, and most hotels were already booked out. When research was done, hotel looked quite nice online, and given the price at that moment was over €300 per night, believed that this would deliver on a standard business hotel experience. I was very wrong. The hotel is located in an industrial area, so there is almost nothing other than buildings around - no stores, no restaurants to speak of, just nothing. They don't even have room service in the hotel - which is a problem since they serve food only at breakfast. The rooms are very small and don't have even a desk or small table (just a single wooden chair in the corner). It would have been impossible to work from there. The desk person told me that normally the hotel charges €65 per night and in some months even €45, which is in line with what the situation was - not in line at all with charging several times that. Value not at all in line with what was paid, and not really suitable for business travel. The desk staff was not especially efficient nor helpful. When calling for taxis in the morning, they would hand off a card, or call, but several people were always waiting which led to conflict amongst guests. Very awkward. Though had any other rooms in the city been available, I would have switched (without hesitation) the one saving grace is that within a 5 minute walk there was a hiking trailhead into a beautiful forest area, with lots of paths which made for some amazing opportunities for a morning run. That is what made this stay tolerable, but would be unlikely to repeat a stay at this hotel.

I immediately contacted the front desk however they informed that all rooms are booked and cannot help. I expect that at the time of check-in I should have been informed regarding this. Also, the room was for physically challenged. I don’t intend to discriminate here however providing information is important because I paid 190Euros for the same. Did not expect this from IBIS. Also, someone from Hotel staff tried to access my room without prior information between 15:00 -15:10. I informed this as well to the front desk. The bathroom sink was cracked and it wasn’t clean enough. Very disappointed.
