Without doubt this hotel is one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Muttom, Idukki, Kerala !! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and the General ***ager Mr. Jitin. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible, spacious rooms of hotel and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Not only was it an extremely clean and well-maintained hotel - it actually has a lovely interior. The hotel rooms were very very clean - they actually even smelled fresh which scores big with me. PLUS - service, all across, the board - was exceptional. Really friendly and flexible ***agement and staff who made us feel attended to and taken care of. There's a high level of genuine personal attention extended to us as we being insurance surveyor ( for carrying our losses due to recent Kerala floods) had to visit the nearby towns and we were new to the town and the General ***ger treated us as family member rather than as a hotel guest from arranging our cabs to everything we required. From ***agement, to front desk and banquet/kitchen staff - up the shuttle service... this Hotel delivers on service all across the board. does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Stayed for a day. Staff was very helpful and food was also excellent. Its situated at a great location. Was bit skeptical about the road quality after the floods, but till the property road was excellent. Last kilometers towards the resort - its bit tricky, so please be careful. Staff there is always willing to help so get there help if you are in any doubt. Negative side, i would say its bit overpriced. Was expecting much better rooms considering the price listed on the website (around 6k for 2bhk cottage). But it was all co****sated by the service of the staffs. They were excellent. Especially ***n, he was always there to support us.

We have chosen to stay in Blanket Hotel & Spa for our Honeymoon Trip. The Hotel is really an iconic place to stay at least once in the lifetime. Hotel location is situated at the heart of Pallivasal Tea Estate .Our room looked out over the Valley, Tea Garden and Mountains. Very clean and views offered were amazing. The Infinity swimming pool near coffee shop is breathtaking and the pool experience is something which can just be felt. The best part was this Infinity pool up on the top Floor. We feel like swimming in the air. And you get to see the Waterfalls, Tea Plantation, Moving clouds and Valley from a bird's eye perspective. Great stay overall. Very clean, Spacious bathroom, Amazing views, and of course, the Infinity pool.Had a fantastic staycation !!! Wish to come back soon. Cheers!!!!!

We stayed for 3 nights in this wonderful homestay that was the standard of a boutique hotel. Only 4 rooms, immaculately presented, clean and modern with loads of space including a balcony to sit out on. Fabulous setting surrounded by every imaginable exotic tree, fab birds (the jungle babbler our fave). We got a tour of the gorgeous spice, herb and fruit garden from the eager Sinden who was always available to us. We got to pick pepper corns too. The coffee from the plantation was delicious (you can buy it). The meals were the best we have had on our trip and used the ingredients from the garden (so fresh). The owner, Shidsi (not sure if I’ve spelt that right) is a *** of huge kindness and generosity whose aim is to ensure his guests have a great time. Nothing was too much trouble. I arrived with a foot infection and he was so concerned that he took me to the local hospital and stayed to help with communication (a nearly 3 hour trip). Truly the Good Samaritan! Highly recommended

My wife and I found 'Landy Queen' on online search 2 months before. Booking the hotel online was very easy; confirmed promptly. On arrival the owner Roney George was at hand to help through registration and showed us to the rooms. Small room, but very adequate for our 2-night stay. Bed, bedding and toiletries were all of high standard. Attached toilet with 24-hour hot water service. Roney also helped us with useful information for eateries nearby. Then again, helped us with a route plan, and a hired car for sightseeing tour of Munnar. Cannot fault the hiring car either. His establishment also houses a small small to sell souvenirs; all of good quality. The hotel is located only 150 metres from the town centre. So can walk to all the shops, market, and other places of interest.

The hotel is on a hill and unless you are young, rather hard to climb. Luckily we had a car. The welcome was eloborate and we had to wait sometime before being shown our room. It was one of the smallest we had ever stayed in, no more than 100 sq ft.Just enough space for a bed and a dresser. No chairs, sofas to sit on! When I pointed this out to the reception people, we were shown another room upstairs that had a sofa. But access is only by a winding staircase with only partial handrail.. Apparently they had other rooms in the back that were not shown to us. Our room cost us better than US$ 70 a day! The toilet had problems for a whole day. The food is OK but not great. As always the staff tries to be very helpful. There was a persistent problem with the Wi-Fi. We stayed for two days. Overall this was the least satisfying hotel during our trip of Kerala.

I had a wonderful time at Joshy’s place and I strongly recommend it. Joshy’s place is an ideal place to spend few days or more in Munnar. The place is hidden in a beautiful and quiet village near Munnar’s centre, and it is very close to most tracks and attractions in the area. The rooms are very nice, spotlessly clean, and you are provided with basic amenities such as soap, toilet papers (yep, you’re not always provided with these in India), and even toothpaste etc. The homestay has its own private garden with few tables, swings and a little pond, which is great place to relax or have your dinner after a long day trekking and exploring. Joshy and his wife offer home cooked meals at a very reasonable charge, and I must say the meals I had were one of the highlights of my stay in Munnar and one of the best I had in Kerela- I highly recommend for anyone who stays here to try them. Joshy and his lovely family were very welcoming and friendly, on my first day his son was kind enough to take me for a walk around the village, which was really nice, and Joshy gave me so ***y tips about the area and helped me organise the activities I wanted to do there, and at the end of my stay he was kind enough to give me a left to the bus stop. Joshy also set me up with a trekking guide who’s name is Ajith and he took me trekking around the area as well as tea and spice plantations. Ajith is a super knowledgeable and extremely friendly guide, he really knows the best spots around the tracks, and he scheduled our trekking tour perfectly so we had time to go to the Tea museum, and Kathakali and Kalaripayattu shows. I’d definitely go back to Joshy’s place whenever I’m in Munnar.
