This is my second time stay at here . The hospitality are superb good . The hygiene in the room including toilet are so clean and fresh air at the outdoor are fresh , they maintain their garden all the time . The balcony outside your room suit for chat , coffee and relax yourself.

One of the best places to stay in Langkawi, definitely will stay again if we ever return. Room was Instagram worthy. The pool was warm, refreshing and regularly cleaned. Great location right on the Cenang beach strip. Right across from the aquarium and within short walking distance of the beach and many good local restaurants. However the hotels layout gives you a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Housekeeping was 10/10 — refreshments, beverages and toiletries were replenished daily. New towels are provided if you leave the old on the floor, and new linens are provided upon request.

Due to the early morning flight, the hotel had to check out at 12 o'clock. In order to find a place to rest, I booked the cheapest but most convenient location. The room is really small, but as a rest point, it is good. Downstairs is the spa and restaurant Very convenient, but do n’t be extravagant about the environment

A very satisfied stay at bed attitude. The staff are friendly even the guests staying here too. Its a good chance to meet new people, while you can also choose to enjoy your solo trip since no one is forced to communicate. The faci is clean. I like the bean bag very much. No need to worry too much and just enjoy your stay here. The hostel has some activity to join too so be sure to check them out at the counter. ps the photo is the sunset kayak activity that i joined with guests from the hostel. definitely worth to try.

Location is literally perfect, very close to restaurants and ＜5 mins to the beach. Little food vans in the evening are literally right outside which is perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are great power and towels and soap is provided. Wi-Fi doesn’t work great in the rooms which is the only downside. Staff are very friendly and were very helpful with us extending our stay. Overall absolutely excellent 3 night stay and would recommend it to everyone.

The hotel is very close to Zhennan Island, and this hotel has its own private beach. It is clean and there are fewer people. The sunrise and sunset are very suitable for taking pictures. The front desk is very warm. There is no problem with Chinese communication throughout the whole process. It is a little farther from the pier in Gua Town (but this taxi is very convenient) I like Ann, I can sleep beautifully at night. The hotel also has a squirrel, several cats, all very close relatives.

White Lodge Chalet is an underrrated gem smack in the middle of the popular beach area. We got a really good rate on an OTA, and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived of the great deal it turned out to be. Our room was fairly spacious and there is an inviting pool in the middle of the lovely compound. There is a hot and cold drinking water dispenser, and our room had a fridge, kettle, tv and coffee/tea. The location is another big draw. It’s in the middle of the key beach stretch, smacked between Cenang and Tenang beaches so both are within easy stroll. Within 5min stroll you are at the Aquarium and behind that, the start of Cenang beach, and we never found a need to drive. Plenty of good eateries and supermarkets are nearby as well that operate late into the night. There is a good roti canai store for breakfast a mere 2min’s walk away, and McDonald’s less than 5min away. The folk running the motel are also friendly and helpful. When we asked to add a bed, the attention was immediate and the staff even refused a tip! We also booked our island hopping tour through them and the prices were reasonable. They also service the room daily although they did not replenish our coffee/tea and water. There are a couple of things we found lacking however. One is that the wifi is pretty unreliable. Sometimes it cannot access certain websites, other times it’s disconnected to internet altogether. A tourist SIM card is really cheap in Malaysia however. Another is that the doors were not well aligned, so opening and closing takes some brute force and creates a fair bit of noise at night. We read some complain about the shower being above the toilet, which isn’t really the case (though they are near). The shower position never bothered us. The new hotel extension is already completed (so no more issues with construction noise and dust) although it’s not yet open. Overall there is really little reason not to like this place. We got a good bang for the buck, and everyone including the kids enjoyed the 3-day stay. Highly recommended for those who don’t want to burn a hole in their wallet.

Location is great, just beside the beach with many eateries, shops, massage parlors around. Staff were very friendly, most of them only speaks Malay. Booked a Room for 3 paxs and was given the Chalet room near to yellow beach cafe. Room and beds were clean but furniture were rather old. Aircon was noisy, can also hear the music and singer from yellow beach cafe. Breakfast at rooftop.

To be honest, I am delighted with this hotel not because it is close to the sea. And not because they give water every day, clean well and give beach towels. And because of the level of service. He is great! Everything you need will help you get. If you sit downstairs near the reception in the evening, they will bring you a mosquito coil, and you don’t need to ask for it. Rent a small car -80 ringgit per day. I wanted to go on an excursion - a tour of the islands on a jet ski. They couldn't buy it in the first place. But the girl from the reception agreed with someone and for 500 ringgit I got a tour for 4 hours, not 3, as they usually sell. We were leaving for 4 days on a kolipe. So the girl from the reception allowed to leave some things. In general, any request was always fulfilled. True, there was only one person who refused everything. Also a receptionist. When we stayed at the hotel, he worked at night. He is about 40 years old. Here it is better not to contact him - a harmful type. It is better to wait for the girls to work at the reception. I can't say anything bad about the rooms. If there were any bugs, they were quickly corrected. It is better to take rooms with a balcony overlooking the courtyard and on the second floor. Although I lived with a balcony on the road and did not hear any noise from the road. There is no safe in the room. I kept valuables in a suitcase under lock and key. Wifi catches well in the rooms, which are located near the reception.

The motel is the cleanest I have been to, and located in a quiet part of the area (even though there is a lot of small guesthouses nearby). The room is cheap, and there is a good parking area. No extra lock on the door though. They also have the cleanest towel for a small motel!!!

It is like a gated & guarded community with 12 beautifully decorated villa and a swimming pool. The compound is well maintained and clean. The hotelier, Peter (& wife, Sue) with his more than 30 years in the hospitality industry is very hands on and goes out of his usual way to please the guests. When we had problem with the Astro reception, not only he replaced the decoder box and a new TV set (of 42”!), he even opened the villa next door as our “TV Room” which we can even sleep there so that we can catch our midnight movie. The meals/b’fast was generous and served twice, one in the evening with mini cereal/muesli boxes, fruit basket, yogurt, box drink & bread slices. In the morning another round of nasi lemak and 4 bottles of mineral water (not RO!) every day. Sue even presented us with her hand made cookies by the time we checked out after our 2 days stay. We had 1 of the best experience staying in such a nice place and would highly recommend to others.

The hotel is located at the end of Cenang Beach. Although it is not on the main road, it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach. It is very quiet. Most of the people staying in are foreigners. The hotels are townhouses with small tables and chairs outside. The hotel’s own swimming pool is very clean and suitable for children to play. Wake up in the morning, the child accidentally discovered the little squirrel on the coconut tree. He was very excited. The only drawback is that the hotel does not provide breakfast, and there is no shop nearby for breakfast. The hotel is within a 5-minute walk of the famous Zhuofeng Seafood, Zhonghua Tower, and Zhenlang Ice Cream. There is a big life supermarket next to the Zhonghua Tower, where you can buy bread and instant noodles. In short, we highly recommend this hotel, it is quiet and private, and there are few people in Cenang Beach at this end, the sunset is so beautiful!

We arrived early at the hotel and the weather was awful (raining).We we’re extremely tired and we had to wait for the rain to finish in order to be able to go out for a walk. The staff at the reception were excellent.I have been travelling a lot and I have been using Mercure often but I have never met such an amazing and professional customer service.The check in time was at 15:00 and the asked to wait in the lobby, they offered us a coffee and they managed to check us in at 11:00! Always with a great smile in their face.Ziela and Djarhul (apologies if I do not pronounce it correctly) and also the gentleman at the reception who brought our luggage in the room were so nice.Congatulations to Accor hotels (Mercure) for their excellent staff. The above employees made us feel very special and I would like to thank them For their support and help.Really 5 stars customer service

Stayed here for one night for transit. When the taxi dropped us off, we weren't sure this is the building because it looked so old and seems to be under construction. The lobby was dark and musky, as were the corridors. From outside, it looks like an abandoned building. I didn't feel very safe in the building. The room was old and dated. The furnishing seems to be from the 90s. While the room was big and spacious, the aircon only cooled down half the room and the other half was felt warm and stuff. The bedsheet was stained and spotted and we found some hair as well. For some weird reason, the windows are tinted so even though we had a good view of the street below, it was still very dark in the room. There are definitely other better and newer hotels / rooms on Cenang beach.

Bangta Resort is on the trail beside the main road. In fact, the navigation is Temple Tree, which is not difficult to find. Once you enter and complete the registration, juice or beer will be attached for use. The front desk can also help arrange car rental for 80 RM a day. The surrounding environment is pretty good. There are many cats around the room. Be careful when you open the door and rush into the room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool to relax and play. It is not far from Cenang Beach. The TV in the room has no channels to watch, but it will help to put breakfast In the refrigerator, there are juice, bread, yogurt, milk and fruits, which are pretty good. Only 13 RM tax per night will be charged at the scene, which is unexpected!

What should I say about my trip and my stay in Frangipani. I am still in those memories. This whole property is very prime and yet reasonable. Utmost pristine. USP of this resort is its beach line. Mind blowing. Whole resort is Tranquil and peaceful. Full of Greenery , I bait you will wake up early morning by the bird chirping or early morning breeze from sea. Sun rise from the backdrop of the resort is worth investing money into this resort. Location is close enough (walking distance) to main Cenang beach but also not so close to its hustle and bustle. Food options are available within Hotel as well as nearby area. Taking your morning breakfast, sitting next to the seashore is amazing experience. Breakfast menu was pretty sufficient ranging western as well as Asian menu. Staff is attentive and very cooperative. For your Langkawi tours you can approach, Travel desk lady Miss Merry. she can offer you better deals for Langkawi Tours. For Indian Tourist, Families. Indian Kitchens is a restaurant very nearby the resort. You will get all types of Veg and Non-Veg menu for Lunch and Dinner. At corner, there is one Grocery / convenience shop where you will get almost everything which you tend to need, you forgot to pack or you urgently need. I suggest you plan one day to enjoy the resort and its mesmerizing morning walk.

Stayed here just 1 night for my birthday staycation.I really enjoyed my stay. Hotel is well located in Pantai Tengah Beach and just within 15 minutes drive away from Langkawi International Airport and minutes away from Cenang Beach or Cenang Mall. Dash Resort Langkawi is a beautiful and Instagram worthy hotel located in Langkawi. Love the hotel feels cosy,vibrant and relaxing atmosphere just next to the private beach. The pool bar is a great experience with live music and enjoy stunning sunset views. The staffs were all friendly and polite. Thank you so much for the hospitality service! I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Overall everything great but breakfast needs more improvement. Will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Langkawi, definitely will come back again!

I truly did enjoy my one night stay at Best Star. It's an older hotel, but the the rooms are equip with hot showers, air-conditioned rooms, tv and fresh bed linens. Perfect for tired travellers. The only negative feedback I have is that their dinner buffet is too pricey and I really do pity their food staff. It's a lot of unnecessary food wastage. They can save more money if they just forgo the dinner buffet altogether and offer ala carte meals if need be.

The location is a bit far from Jinan Beach. It is a local farmhouse feeling. Although it is on the roadside to Jinan Beach, the signboard is very small. Our five-point flight to Langkawi Airport, driving out after Zhenzhen Looking for an hour in South Beach, I didn't find it. I finally asked a lot of local Chinese. I called and checked the map. I finally found the hotel at nine o'clock in the evening. General environment, breakfast in general, come to Langkawi holiday travel, or forget it! The boss is a young Malay who can only communicate in simple English, but people are very enthusiastic!

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! We stayed one night for ferry transfer on the next day. Location is strategic, there is a mini mart nearby. 6 minutes to jetty point by car, it takes around 20 minutes if you walk to jetty point. Room is not too small, it is clean. You can hear some noise from outside but it doesn't disturb us. Two towels were provided. No hair dryer is provided. The only cons is the lamp is not bright although we switch on all lights. Other than this, overall is suitable if you are looking for a budget hotel. Bear in mind, Geopark Inn is in the Kuah, there is another Geopark hotel located in Oriental Village.

The entire bathroom facilities in the hotel are relatively complete, because hot water is supplied 24 hours a day, and the private bathroom can be used to wash well without being disturbed by others. Location - You have to stop by about 600 meters from the main street to the dark road. It's a little more than 1 km to Chenan Beach.No supermarkets, restaurants around. Facilities - barefoot. It's stiff to use barefoot to the wet toilet. The shower feels like doing in the yard and sometimes frogs run around. The towels are stated as free and the amount is 5RM. The bed puts a mattress on the tree on the freight stand. The outlet does not enter 1 220 volts and the staff should touch it. Ambient - It seems to be pursuing a service and system similar to a European hostel, but the facilities are too outdated and messy.The location is not good.The staff should be educated more. Breakfast is self toast and jam. There was a program that seemed to be a music performance by the staff and several people in the public space in the evening, but it was a level of drinking and crowding. The singing, the staff and some people kept drinking. I put a beer in a plastic bag in a shared refrigerator, and I was drinking, and in a while someone took it out and ate half of it. When I told the drinkers, the drunk staff said they would buy it tomorrow. If they don't, one of them says they give it for money. And they bought beer because they didn't. No one knows, no mistakes, no one says sorry. It's like a place where people without manners stay. The price is cheap for one person, but if you are looking for a hostel alone or shining.There are enough good places at similar prices to the beach

The hotel is located in a conveninet location, within walking distance to the Lagenda park and Eagle square-- which are a must see. I walked there twice in about 15- 20 minutes; it would cost about 10 RM by Grab taxi. Some rooms have a good view of the Maha tower and the bay --the tower lights up at night and is really beautiful. The bed is quite comfortable and the WIFI is very strong . The shower and hot water runs alright . The staff, Dan, was very helpful and helped me to complete my itinerary . I was travelling alone, but there were families there as well . It is budget friendly but the amenties exceeded my expectations. Of course it is not luxurious, but the rooms are clean. I enjoyed my stay.

First time to Langkawi and stayed at Aloft. Overall good experience but a bit off location. The dining at Nook is ok for an island. Also my room Aircon control seem to have problem and it's super cold, thermostat not working. Good service but the travel desk item is abit expensive compared to the market but you get a place of mind.

2nd time visiting the Danna and it doesn't disappoint again. Planning for our stay was easy with the Danna concierge who coordinated on extra beds and activities like the jet ski trips Good - Amazing buffet breakfast always starts off the day well..mix of western and local and on demand items like eggs, waffles and pancakes - the new dinner buffet was a great new addition with the live BBQ station even though the protein selection was limited - Countess suite was amazing with the jacuzzi bathroom and the viceroy seaview room was amazing also Negative - slightly inconsistent with the housekeeping, sometimes they would forget to vacuum - slight mishap with the room service waiter entering when we requested a female attendent. They claimed the protocol was to enter and serve the food after 3 knocks but since we requested female that should not be the case Beyond that the service and polish in food and rooms is what brings us back. Highly highly recommended.
