This is a suburban family villa-style hotel, just renovated, the interior furniture is brand new, and the beds are comfortable. The boss's service is attentive. Because it is far from the city center, you need to take a bus to go to tourist attractions. But the feeling of a peach garden outside the city, the kind of leisure, the peaceful scenery, the kind of feeling of sucking the fresh air and looking at the distant snow-capped mountains, is no good attraction in China.

I arrived in Salzburg by self-driving from Munich. It is easy to set up navigation to the hotel from Google Maps. The hotel room is clean and sanitary, there are supermarkets, pharmacies nearby, etc. The hotel's underground garage allows guests to park for free. The hotel staff is very friendly. When I know the pain in my leg, I will provide the medicines I have stored in the hotel. I also recommend that I park in the Altstadt garage A or B parking lot (the parking lot is inside the cave) when I drive into the old town. It is the old city, and it takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the food alley (the former residence of Mozart). Note that when spending in the food and beverage outlets in the old city, you must take the initiative to find employees to punch holes in the parking ticket, there are discounts when paying for parking. I stopped at the parking lot for 7 hours and 50 minutes and received 6 euros.

Staff: Very friendly and helpful staff! it was such a nice surprise Location: it is not far from the city center and the neighborhood is nice for jogging-the bus stop is exactly outside of the hotel - please note that Uber does not work in this city.... Cleanliness: Very clean Room temperature: The room is super hot, there is a thermostat and can control the temperature by yourself Room: My room is facing the mountains and it has such a nice view. There is no fridge or not even boiler or Nespresso machine in the room, and at the start i was surprised but i did not mind it. I really enjoyed that everything in the room was bio certified - such as shower gel...etc. the budget is focused on important things and i really appreciated it. Breakfast: Very nice breakfast and big variety. fresh and organic staff at a price of 13Euro Overall hotel: the design of the hotel is very nice, i stayed at the lounge area at the ground floor for drinks and coffee every day. Very nice vibe I will definitely stay again at Motel One, such a nice and smart concept Please note that the hotel does not serve food other than the breakfast - they only have a toast.

The Schlosswirt, close to the Mozart Town of Salzburg, directly adjacent to the new Gothic mansion in Anif. There is an incredibly romantic atmosphere to be found, in both the nostalgic rooms and the public lounges, that has long since established the location. All our 28 rooms are fully equipped with all common facilities and some have a balcony. Some have a marvellous view to the Untersberg or to the unique water castle and its lake. We also offer room service, concierge-service, valet parking, garage and laundry and ironing service.Dogs are permitted in the rooms. Our restaurant is well-known for its great Austrian cuisine, a very traditional menu at a very high level. Here you can enjoy a perfect evening in a good old Austrian atmosphere. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00. It is closed on Sundays, except holidays and during festival season.

The bus to Salzburg is only 15 minutes away, but there are several buses going at the same time, and Hellbrunn or Cable Kata are both on the mountain, so if you have a timetable to go there, you can stay in the hotel, especially if you travel from Take the Flix or Leo bus in Prague or elsewhere. This is the direction from the station to the city, so you can find accommodation earlier because the accommodation is earlier than the city. The staff are friendly and it rains a lot in Salzgan, so I rented an umbrella from the hotel and used it well. The disadvantage is that it is air-conditioned, so I chose this type of accommodation, which is usually not what we think it is, but a fan-like device. Please note that air conditioning is installed. However, it rained on the day we went, so that air conditioning was not needed. Opening the window and blowing the wind is much cooler than opening the air conditioner. You can open the window, because there are no mosquitoes, it doesn't matter. In addition to the disappointment with the air conditioning, the price is cheaper than the accommodation in Salzburg, so you can take the bus.

Very pleasant small hotel, the room is relatively large, the breakfast is a bit expensive but the taste is very general, and the category is relatively small. The location is far from the city, and it takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center by taxi. But fortunately there are trams at the door. Local transportation cards are also available at the front desk. The price is not cheap. If you have a better price/performance ratio, don't choose this one, but his environment is good in all aspects. This is certain.

When I first arrived in Salzburg, I was introduced into Mozart Square because of navigation errors. Because of the unclear identification of the surrounding area, I drove into the wrong place. I almost had to pay 100 Euros to get out of the square. Later I met Austria’s “yellow cow” and spent 30 Euros. When I checked in at the hotel, I told the younger brother at the front desk and told him that this should be a trap. Because of the three hours of staying in this stay, we found that many of the cars in the move could not go out. The front desk brother immediately removed us. Parking fees and tell us that ”when something bad happens, there will always be good things happening”, awesome

From the moment we arrived it was clear this was going to be a wonderful stay. The lovely lady who greets you is just charming, kind and instantly makes you feel like you are staying with a friend. Our room was beautifully designed without being cold or sterile feeling as can sometimes be the case - it was spacious yet cosy, spotlessly clean, and with a wonderful bed. Dinner that evening was super - the food was perfect, the atmosphere charming, the staff again so professional and so sweet. And to top of our stay, breakfast today was again a delight. Our incredible house mother joined by a wonderful waitress who continued the theme of a hotel staffed by people with warmth and character. The food was delicious. This is an absolute gem of a hotel - made extra special by the wonderful team who work here. We will be back for sure!

I really wanted to like this hotel, but ultimately left with a sour experience. The first two days our experience was excellent. The staff was wonderful and accommodating.  The first day we went to the front desk and ordered a pizza. The staff member on duty asked if we wanted it served in the room or in the restaurant.  We said the room and she kindly delivered it to the room. The third night we arrived back at the hotel after a long day of sightseeing around 9pm. As the hotel is located in a residential neighborhood there was nothing around other than the restaurant at the hotel.  We asked the front desk if we could order a pizza (please note this is the only thing they serve at night), and the staff member on duty coldly told us NO and then said they were not a pizza restaurant.  Then she asked us if we were guests of the hotel ”do you have room here?”.  She said the restaurant closed at 9, but then during the same conversation told us the restaurant closed at 10.  After asking if there was anything we could get at that late hour she made us a pizza but was very annoyed about it.  Further, and this what really disappointed us, she told us we were not allowed to take the pizza to the room as eating in the room was not allowed (even though there is a mini bar and snacks in the room), and we were also not allowed to eat in the restaurant, so we had to eat the pizza in the hallway of the hotel.  It was embarrassing and humiliating.   Real shame as we were enjoying our stay but this really made us feel unwelcome.

The front desk is very kind Call us and enter the city's lift gate password Tell us that we can drive the car into the city But only one hour Because every hour the gate password will change Breakfast is also well prepared The whole square of the honey of the hive is eaten for the first time. Originally there are one or two bees on it. Festival time to the hotel It is worthy of being Mozart’s hometown. We listened to the performance of local middle school students nearby. Opera medea is very high It’s completely free, and the quality of the audience is very good. The only minor drawback is because it is a historic hotel. The floor will be a little bit louder.

The highlight of this 600-year-old hotel is the service. The front desk or restaurant service is excellent. Professional service. Many high-end hotels have it. But this one makes people feel particularly sincere. Every word and every sentence they listen to and answer carefully and surpasses expectations. You do a good job, for example, when you see me have a bunch of coins at checkout, I will take the initiative to change the whole amount of money. I consult the trip to Munich and immediately help me find out and print out a list of the specific situation, which company bought the tickets How to get to the station ticket office Breakfast is average, but children are free (my child is 9 and a half years old) If you do not want to eat, there are McDonald's and Starbucks a few steps away, but the environment is always good One of the hotel's restaurants is the local one. It is the first recommendation on the lonely planet, so dinner can be solved at the hotel every day. One big one, two small juices, one soup, two main courses. Tips are not included. The service is great. Up Karajan was a frequent visitor to this restaurant The quilt is very comfortable Next to LV Anyway, I'd definitely choose here again

This is a hotel that can only be driven by car. It feels like a motel. We chose because the hotel was booked on the same day, and then the entire Salzburg, other hotels were not suitable, only chose this one. There is a dedicated parking lot outside and there is a dedicated parking lot for motorcycles. The room is not big on the second floor, but it is still very clean. ibs is a traditional standard business hotel.

First of all, the hotel is in a good location, just two intersections behind the Mirabell Garden. It is very convenient to walk to the attractions. The big bed room is reserved. The front desk asks if the children can be accommodated in an extra bed. The front desk recommends adding 25 Euros to the suite. This price and The extra bed policy on Ctrip is the same, but Ctrip's extra bed policy is written in a 25-euro bed with breakfast. The actual front desk has received extra breakfast for 8.5 Euros. It is relatively simple to say breakfast. The room layout is very modern, overall good, but one of the 3 bottles of water sent in the room is half of the other people's drink... Fortunately! Parking for 14 Euros a day

stayed there already a few times during the last years as it is located opposite my parents home. They keep continuing the same good level of service so you always know what to exspect. Rooms and hotel is really clean and well cared for though the room amenities are more 3 than 4 star, staff very friendly and helpful. But it is mostly a Seminar hotel and not mainly for tourists so thats ok. Though there are tourists as well as there is a big parking lot, quiet location and a bus stop opposite with a direct bus right into the center of the city. In my opinion the best thing is the breakfast with a big selection of everything.

Not even sure I read reviews for this hotel. I think I booked it with Chase points. The outside of the hotel looks rather nondescript but the inside is beautifully appointed. It looks like an old building that has been renovated on the inside. Rooms are very modern, well lit, and comfortable. We got to peek into some of the other rooms while they were being cleaned and they look amazing! Very nice furniture pieces. Common areas hold the best of the building's older features (bonus points for the awesome grandfather clock by the front desk). Just a few minutes' walk from Old Town and the train station, so a great place to get in and out of Salzburg and explore the city's main attractions. Highly recommend this one - it's truly lovely.

I was very much looking forward to staying at this hotel, as they partner with the Salzburg Festspiele, and it was recommended for it's location and history. I asked for a quiet room, but got one facing the street. Behind the street is a 70-some meter mountain wall, amplyfing all noise from the street and the church - which is next door - and which starts it's bells at 7 in the morning. Room got incredibly warm (heat wave) - and only one fan is provided, no air-con. I had to open the window during the night, waking every 10 minutes from drunken shouting outside. The carpet in the room was dirty and stained, the hot/cold faucets in the shower and sink were opposite, knobs on bathroom cabinet and dresser were missing, the skirting board (Bodemformteil) had come off from the walls. I needed help with understanding the information on my concert ticket. It was in German, and highly detailed (Covid- regulations) - I asked one of the staff to translate a few bits for me. My question was ”What time do I need to be there?” She could not understand this, but replied ”Oh no, there are no bees, no bees!” And made a ”bzz”-sound, and she was not joking. I am working on my German, but you partner with the festival, and it would be very helpful if you knew just a little bit more English! This can all be tossed aside, but this can't: Since there is no breakfast, guest are invited to go to the sister hotel, Hotel Stein, down the street. I popped by in the evening to have a look at the venue (roof-top restaurant), it was so crowded, you couldn't move around. I'm sure it's disinfected to some extent after it closes and before it opens, and I'm not hysterical about the pandemic, but there were no covid-measures, 100-150 people standing around, no masks, no distance, nothing. It just felt so very irresponsible. On the bright side, there is a pretty little patio in the back, and the church yard behind the hotel, where Mozart's family's graves are, is a tranquile and very beautiful space.

This was a decent, budget-friendly hotel. We arrived in Salzburg via train, and walked from the train station to the hotel, which took about 10 minutes. We were lugging four large suitcases and battling a biting wind while consulting Google maps, so it probably would have been a faster walk had we known where we were going, and had we not been lugging 4 weeks of clothing with us. The hotel lobby is fun and vibrant, and the front desk clerks were friendly and incredibly helpful. I say this because I'd booked our room via a booking site, and changed the check-in/check-out dates through that site once before we traveled. That site sent me a confirmation, but didn't bother letting the hotel know that I'd made the change, so when we tried to check in...they had nothing. After a moment of panic, the young man helping us told us it wouldn't be a problem, he just needed to make an adjustment. Our room was on the 4th floor, and it seemed like all the glitz and vibrancy in the hotel was used in the lobby. The room was a bit tight and spare, but comfortable for our needs. We didn't have much of a view from our window, but if I leaned out just a bit (making my husband super anxious), I could see Hohensalzburg away on the hill. The bathroom was tiny, and we had to get creative with space in there. The shower had decent water pressure, but it was another one of those that had no shower door, and no curtain. Water got everywhere, which we tried to contain, but to no avail. We did get really good sleep while staying here, though, and that's what matters most to us. The bed was comfy, and the blankets were warm and cozy. The thing I think I loved most about the room was that once you put your key in the slot to turn on the power, the TV would turn on to a fireplace scene, complete with the crackle of the fire and the wood burning down to ashes, only to repeat itself again and again. It was a tiny detail, but I loved the heck out of it! The hotel isn't very far from Mozartplatz, but you do have to walk. It's a nice stroll across the river, even in not-so-nice weather. Tip: if your map app tells you to turn left and then turn left after stepping outside the building, don't listen to it! You can cross the street (towards the river), and follow that down until you see the first of many bridges across. I'd recommend taking the first one, as it'll be less crowded, but it is worth it to cross the second one at least once, so you can see the lights up close. I believe we got lucky in locking in a good price for this hotel, given we were there for Christmas. They definitely were busy during our stay, but we were always welcomed back when returning, and wished a good day as we left. And, they're dog-friendly, too! We found that out as we were waiting for the one elevator to get up to our room (we took the stairs, as the elevator was slow in descending to the lobby level). We had a beagle on our floor, and it about broke my heart.

I walked out of the train station on the first day. I didn't expect this hotel was at the back door of the train station. I walked through a small garden that was too late at night to navigate and write for ten minutes, but these ten minutes still panicked. However, Mercure infected me with the standardized facilities and services of a global chain in the next two days. The breakfast was really good, the favorite was marinated salmon and hot chocolate. The fruit is also very fresh, so be sure to eat cantaloupe. In short, great, go to Mirabell Palace to catch the No. 2 bus directly. The fortress is a little further away, and taxis are not expensive

My family of four (including two teenage sons) had a truly memorable visit at the hotel. The service simply could not be better. We have stayed at several Four Seasons hotels in the past, and the service here far exceeded the Four Seasons, which is not an easy thing to do. The front desk staff were friendly and anticipated our needs. They greeted us by name as we stepped out of the car upon arrival, and they walked us to the car they arranged to take us to the train station upon departure. When we returned one evening from town by taxi while it was raining, someone came out right away with an umbrella. The staff helped us with our day trip to Saint Gilgen, restaurant reservations and transportation. While we did not eat dinner at the hotel, the breakfast is fantastic (plenty of hot and cold items to choose from) and we ate dessert in the bar after dinner one evening. Their sachertorte and alfelstrudel were the best we had, and the boys also enjoyed the ice cream sundaes. I suggest passing over the desserts in town for the hotel. I was originally anxious about the location not being in town, but it ended up being a real feature of the property. The views are amazing, it’s very easy to get in town, and the separation from town made us feel like we were on retreat at the end of the day. We only wish we were able to spend more than an hour at the beautiful pool where they also serve drinks and food poolside. I highly recommend the hotel for families with older kids, couples, and solo travelers — especially for special occasions.

The kitchen is very small and limited with just one conception hob , a microwave and a fridge. It is not possible to cook meals or even prepare a proper breakfast. The rooms had no fan or Ac and in the summer with 6 people in the room it became very stuffy.

We’re a family of five and this was by far the best place we stayed while in Europe. The family who runs this hotel is so sweet and accommodating! We’re American and while we can understand some German we can’t speak it at all. The entire staff was very helpful about answering questions and making sure we had everything we needed! The rooms were so great! We stayed in a two room suite with a separate bathroom. There was so much room for all of us and it was so quiet! We ate out, but when we came back to the hotel the restaurant was still open! We had dessert and coffees and it was amazing! The apple strudel was the best we had in Austria! And coffee with baileys was exactly what we were looking for out on the town. We all slept with the windows open and we woke up to sound of a horse and carriage going past in the street below. Just awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to stay. It is not a holiday inn want to be, it is authentic and incredible.

The hotel is very close to the central station and at the same time quieter. The hotel service is very good, we have no breakfast on the Ctrip order, the hotel volunteered to have a free breakfast. Especially worth mentioning is that after we arrived at the room, we found that the fan had been placed in the room. It was obviously new, and it was much better than our previous hotel in Munich. The hotel has a small car park.

We loved our stay here as it was in the middle of the mountains, it was a very peaceful and quiet area. We had a standard room(with a round bed) which was basically a two storey duplex consisted of a balcony as well and a sitting area. You can take a walk around the hotel and smell the freshness in the air. The hotel was basically an old mountain lodge and was refurbished later on to start hosting guests. Must visit for all travellers seeking refuge from city life. There are no shuttles or buses to take you to the city center. However the reception ca ln order a 20euro taxi for you, if you would like to spend some time in the city.

Great location, just opposite Mirabell Palace, there is a pizza shop nearby, super large and delicious and cheap. Walking a few tens of meters across the bridge is the old town, convenient location. There are a variety of transportations around the area, 150 to the Lake District, 3 to the P R Station, etc., all within a 3-minute walk. If you say the shortcomings, the price is a bit expensive.

The Hotel was established just a few years ago in a former commercial building, so the rooms are really new and nice. We had one on the 3rd floor with a balcony with view to the mountains. We liked the interior with the large shower as well the seperate toilet. The beds are really comfortable, everything was clean. We can recommend the Hotel because it is not too far away from the airport as well as from town. Bus service is available just nearby. If you want a hotel which has budget room rates, this is the place to book! Check In was efficient, the lady very helpful and nice. Check out was the highlight with a good conversation with the manageress and solving a problem at our complete satisfaction. We will return as soon as we visit Salzburg again.

The breakfast is very good, the things are more comprehensive, just to see if it is in line with the taste of the Chinese people, the location is very good, with children no problem.

Hotel location is good, about seven or eight minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. The hotel room is relatively small, and the bathroom shower room is also small. This room in the southeast corner overlooks the fortress of Salzburg, and the restaurant on the top floor can see most of the city of Salzburg. The hotel is not far from the Mirabell Gardens, Salzburg is not large, and Mozart's former home can be reached in about ten or twenty minutes. The front desk staff was very warm and clear, and the lobby provided bottled water and apples for guests to pick up.
