The room was a nice size however our room assignment was on the ground floor facing the busy road, with a lot of noise from the road and passers by, as well as incessant beeping from a street crossing directly outside the window. There is also a primary school across the street, and so a lot of noise from school children throughout the day. I think our stay would have been much more enjoyable & relaxing had we been assigned a room on the top floor or towards the back of the building, or if we did not spend any time in our room during the day. The kitchen and facilities were well equipped but could have used more supplies (tea, sugar, cream, toilet paper, shampoos etc.) since these ran out after the first day or two. There were no staff on site however customer service was responsive by phone/email and very helpful.

I was given the key to someone elses room, so walked into a room full of belongings and then the next day my key lost it's programming, so had to go back to reception yet again.
Rooms aren't very sound proofed, so there was a few nights where I had people non stop walking through the corridors at gone midnight shouting and singing where likely drunk from the bar. Overall okay stay for the money though, bottles of water and a few biscuits were provided too which was a lovely touch.
Bar prices very reasonable too

On both nights first two items on menu choice were unavailable. On second night third choice was Nachos. Delivered to table without chilies, sour cream or cheese. So just the tomato sauce then. Apparently the chef couldn’t find the ingredients 🤦. Upon check out charged twice on card. Asked how stay was and told. Ignored. Never stay there again.

Location:
The hotel is a bit removed from the city centre, which means you'll need to plan your travel carefully. We found ourselves relying mostly on the boat to Canary Wharf, which, while scenic, adds some time and coordination to each outing.
Check-in Experience:
The check-in process was a highlight. We were greeted warmly with the signature DoubleTree cookies – a small but lovely surprise. Even more thoughtful, the staff noted that we were celebrating a birthday and offered us two complimentary drinks at the bar. That personal touch really made us feel welcomed and appreciated.
Room Comfort:
The room was comfortable enough, but there were a couple of issues worth noting. The soundproofing wasn’t great – we could clearly hear the sea waves throughout the night, which might be relaxing for some, but was a bit disruptive for us. Additionally, the bathroom could have been cleaner. We found garbage left in the bin, which detracted from the overall sense of hygiene and attention to detail.
Overall:
This hotel has some lovely, thoughtful staff and a few standout gestures that enhanced our stay. However, its distance from central London and a few cleanliness and soundproofing issues might not make it ideal for every traveller. With a bit more attention to room maintenance, it could be a much stronger option.

The room was relatively small but clean. The bathroom was also small though clean. Dont expect 4/5 star hotel service though.
Overall hotel had a positive vibe to it. Location was also good. A three minute walk and you are at Stratford bus station and another three will get you to the shopping mall.
All in all, good for two pax and probably two nights.

There are many fast food restaurants close by. Waitrose is just right opposite, perfect for a late night supermarket shopping. Natural history museum, V&A are a few minutes walk away. Room is huge for London standard. Do note that hotel only provide 1 time free bottled water on the day of check in.

The big bed plus a sofa bed, the sofa bed is generally comfortable, but the sofa bed is very wide, and it can be opened as a double bed.
The front desk service is very good, and they will greet you when you enter and leave. The restaurant service is also very good. The freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast is good, and it costs 4 pounds per cup in the Oxford restaurant.
The room is cleaned every day, and supplies for multiple people are provided. It is highly recommended.
It takes 15 minutes to walk back to the hotel from the London Eye, passing by the British characteristics on the street.

On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).

My mum’s room was terrible, smelt like damp wet carpet, it was tiny, dark and had no airflow. The bathroom was oddly located outside of the room through another door.
My room was opposite a large storage space and next to the breakfast room. The noise from guests in neighbouring rooms, breakfast room in the morning, staff going in and out of store room and the constant sound from underground train every few minutes was quite unbearable.
Even though I booked the same room type my room was much larger and better configured than the one my mum got.
The place was a maze, the room numbering made no sense and we were forever getting lost.
Staff were polite but definitely not service professionals and it was obvious that none of them wanted to be there.
The only plus was location location location!!

The location is excellent, within walking distance of the park, metro, restaurants etc. Breakfast was nice, but don't expect lots of food. For a short stay in London, this hotel was a very good find. |0.51km from University of WestminsterWe stayed for a concert at Wembley. On check in the reception staff gave is lots of helpful information - the 92 bus goes directly to Wembley stadium, and that it would be a slightly different pick up point.
We actually decided to walk back rather than join the crowded public transport, but it was quite a long walk, I’d recommend walking a short way out of the crowds then back on the 92.
The room was nice & bed very comfortable. We slept well. Breakfast was nice with a mix of continental & English breakfast items.
I’d definitely stay again.

appreciated how fluffy and comfy the bathrobe was. the linens felt crisp clean and most of other stuff in the room. but the teaspoons were dirty.
the breakfast was okay. the staffs were nice. the location was good. there is a bus stop very close, hammersmith station is only 25 min on foot, a good shawarma place was nearby, and right next to it there’s sainsbury local. the neighborhood felt safe, which was one of the most important conditions i was looking for.
final thought: mixed. most parts were okay, some not.

The friendly offer of a glass of Prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch! I would definitely recommend the hotel and return to it again.
The only issue we had was that we booked a family room through a third party (Trip.com) while looking for somewhere for 2 adults and 1 u18 to stay for the weekend.
Trip offered a bigger ”Family room”, with a view of 2 beds side by side, one being a sofa bed/large rollaway.
This was not the room available on arrival. We had a large double bed only. They kindly brought a single rollaway in to accommodate us. However, it was a smaller room, and they had no larger available.
They were as surprised as us as Trip.com did not forward a ”Family” booking, even though I listed the 2 adults and the age of the child.

|0.28km from University of WestminsterWe decided to stay here because of the NYE fireworks display which could be viewed at the rooftop only to be told that access to the hotel is not an automatic access to the rooftop on New Year’s Eve and the worst thing is that it got sold out. It was just downhill from there because honestly, we made the reservation just for that sole purpose. I wouldn’t call my stay enjoyable really, not because of the services or anything, it was just the disappointment we felt when everything we planned out became null. Probably wouldn’t go there again but it’s a nice hotel in a good location regardless
