Went to the Exclusive Aparthotel Marina for a long weekend in September 2019. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff could not have been more helpful. The standard of accommodation was first class. Our suite has superb views of the river and university and at night was very tastefully illuminated and made even better with the small river boat tours which passed by again all lit up at night. The TV was an apple tv with full access to the internet, movie channels etc. The breakfast which was delivered to our room each morning was to die for and without doubt value for money. The location was only 300 yards from the start of the old town, a short walk over the nearby bridge and straight into the 'bohemian' style small streets and buildings. It has a tremendous range of cafes, bars and restaurants which are all, even in, the main tourist market square so cheap but of top quality. We did the 2.5 hour 'buggie tour' which I would highly recommend. All in all, we found it the quality of a high standard and only 'scratched the surface'. We will definitely return to Wroclaw and the Exclusive Aparthotel Marina.

This is my 2nd time in Wroclaw, but 1st with "the lads". Great Central location, right opposite the old prison bar, literally 3 minutes walk from the main square " RYNEK". Apartment had 2 good size bedrooms, each sleeping 3 and 2 bathrooms with a good shower unit. There was a sofa bed, which was adequate, plenty of room for 7, 8 at a push. The only criticism was that we had to wait for towels, and bedding. I doubt whether I'll come to wroclaw again, but I'd highly recommend both the city and accommodation.

My wife and stayed here for a few days as we wanted a self contained central apartment. +Points - Central location - Very clean, new décor and modern -free WiFi - Has hob, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, hairdryer, flat-screen TV, towels, crockery, cutlery etc. Minus points - Has no lift - we were on the third floor, which was fine for a middle aged couple, not sure about elderly and young families with pushchairs. - No toaster or microwave? I would expect these to be basic mod-cons for a self contained apartment. - No information pack and how to operate things e.g. I wasn't able to operate the radiators. Luckily it was very warm for the time of the year, not sure about spending a Polish winter without central heating though! - The apartments are above a square, which did become quite noisy late into the night.

This hotel is perfectly located in the historical center of Wroclaw, all the main attractions are reachable on foot, there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood, so once parked in the hotel parking I didn't need to drive my car whole stay there. Rooms in the hotel are not the most modern ones but they are clean and comfortable, staff is friendly and caring. I only felt a bit of discomfort in the "lobby" which is in fact just a narrow corridor with not enough privacy when talking to the reception staff. Also their breakfast room has limited capacity. Tables are too close to each other in order to place more people in the room and at the weekend it was still a bit of challenge to find a place. Although waiters did their best, they never took break, they were not able to supply enough food and dish so there was always something missing. These are two items for possible improvement but not preventing me from future booking in this hotel. Positive impression prevail and after all I was satisfied with my stay there.

We stayed 4 days in this apartment and found it to be very good. The living/ dining area was really spacious with lots of natural light. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. There was lots of storage space if you needed it and all the appliances were modern. There was plenty of tea, coffee and sugar, which you don't normally get in this type of rental ( in my opinion) which was a nice touch. Location wise it was excellent, only 50 metres from Rynek square ( old town) so really central to everything. If I was to pick a point..... the bedroom is really small with no room for bedside lockers or more importantly reading lamps. Would this stop me from renting this property again.? Certainly not

Stayed here for three nights while visiting Wroclaw for business. The room is pleasant, with a small sitting are and separate bedroom. Bathroom is good size and shower has plenty of power. We had dinner here one evening, and the food was good and service friendly and efficient. Breakfast is quite a spread, with cereals, yoghurt, eggs and sausages, pate, fish, fruit, at least 6 different breads and two bean-to-cup coffee machines. But of course the ingredients to a cooked breakfast are not identical to what you get in England, it is all slightly local. This is what you get when you travel the world, some reviewers on here do not seem to get this (and should probably stay home). For me the only downside was the loud music playing either in the hotel itself or in a neighbouring building (I never worked out which). This goes on until midnight, and then less loudly for another few hours. Not sure whether this was just in the run up to Christmas, but it makes it unsuitable for families with young children, I'd say.

The hotel seems geared for business travellers, though it is in a perfect location to the main square. About 50m. The staff were helpful and very polite, the hotel had a very good breakfast, that was regularly topped up, even if you ate towards the end of the breakfast time. The room was very modern, and quiet, and I would say it is a great choice for a visit to Wroclaw, especialy when we went for access to the excellent Christmas Market.

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel, it is very far from that. If your idea of a hotel in Poland is sleeping in a Church, go for it, otherwise, better look for something else. The hall as you get into the hotel is absolutely impressive. The room is not. I was in the 3rd floor, which is probably the worst. The hallway leading to the room at night was pitch black and I had to use my cellphone light to recognize the room number. The bed was small in size, there were too few electric plugs so that if you need to charge a device you have to disconnect the TV. Anyway, the TV was on the back of the bed, so it was pretty much useless. The rooms in the 1st floor are much bigger. The bathroom is very nice (the best thing of the room) and the sheets and mattress were comfortable. The internet was a big problem on a business trip. It is set up in a way that you cannot use it to skype or talk via Whatsapp (even without video), and you also cannot use email apps. Breakfast was excellent, good coffee and a very nice place. The hotel service is a complete disaster. The rooms are not cleaned unless you tell them so, but this is not written anywhere. So you only understand this when you complain! It is a hotel, not an apartment, so I really did not get this. When the room is cleaned, it is done poorly: they did not replace the towels (the second time they did, after I asked), they never replaced the toilet paper (I run out the last day), and they do not replace the facial tissues when they run out. Everything sounds like a very green approach to low energy consumption, except that the lights in the room are incandescent (not efficient lights) so this is really not the case. Facilities are also not those of a 4-star hotel. At the very minimum, I would expect a small gym. The curtains in the room do not blackout. Overall this was not the best choice in Wroclaw for me.

The first impression begins at the Front Desk, and the staff weren’t welcoming at all. Polish customer service can be cold, but this was rudeness. The hotel room was shiny budget, evidenced by the chipped and dented furniture with a breakfast bar on a serious lean. The shower head was narrow and struggled to produce a decent amount of pressure. The WiFi was intermittent, dropping out every five minutes, so any business use would be useless. There is no air conditioning which with overnight temperatures of 25 degrees plus makes sleep difficult but more of that to come. Night one we had no sleep as our neighbours enjoyed an amorous evening of romance. She was delighted until just before 4am, and after a swift recovery, they recommenced activity just before 8am. Knocking on their door and calling Reception got us nowhere. We did speak with the daytime reception staff who were more understanding. Night two we were woken up by the bins being emptied at 5.30am, which took nearly 20 minutes. Night three was largely uneventful but again we were woken up early as roadworks started outside our window bright and early. So in short we didn’t get a single decent nights sleep, and we wouldn’t return again. In fact we’re returning to Wroclaw today, but have booked elsewhere. We can recommend the dumpling and ice cream stores nearby.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Bridge on a private tip earlier on in July. I have to say that the hotel is really impressive design and quality wise. The team was great, from reception to restaurant, where they offer a Craft menu, using only ingredients from close by farms - way to go! The breakfast was well laid out, with a good selection of items and even an a la carte menu with an amazing avocado, smoked salmon and egg toast. We stayed in a Classic room, overlooking the cathedral, which was great and looked also at one of the suites, which for sure we will go for next time! All fixtures are highly finished and the whole hotel has a great feeling of quality. There is also a safe underground car park for guests with direct access to hotel. The hotel is located just a few steps from the main square - a nice stroll to the city actually. We will definitely be back!

Visited here for mini break after draining Christmas Don’t be fooled by the name hostel as it’s NOT better than most hotels I’ve stayed in to be fair. Staff are a credit to the hostel / hotel and couldn’t help you more as with all polish people I’ve came in contact with. Very nice and polite. The location is good within five minutes walk from old town and plenty of shops and a few bars within throwing distance. There’s a little bar called flaszka which adjoins the the place with a good lad running it prices are right 7zlt a pint which is half you’ll pay in old town and a nice place to put your feet up after a Tiring day doing tourist stuff. Around the corner you have craft beer bar with good selection of brews And plenty of places to eat included polish , indian , kebabs , Mexican , chicken etc Within 3 minutes walk your within the nightclub area not for me but if that’s what you it’s just up the road All in all I’m giving it five stars because I believe it’s location staff and quality of accommodation and value for money ticks all the boxes Would I use absolutely and will in the near future Thanks five stars and there staff

My sleeper train from Frovac, Gdansk arrived at 5:30 in the morning. I saw the hotel's exterior when I left the station. I walked slowly for less than three minutes in the morning and felt very comfortable! Someone enters the gate to help open the door. According to the rules of the front desk, it is 2:00 pm to check in, but I want to pay for the extra check, because the children in the same place are still sleepy, need to find a place to let him sleep, the beauty front is very Friendly, let me stay first! It’s so moving! Go left and go to the left for less than three minutes (the famous statue of the sinking person). Turn left for about 10 minutes to the old town. The whole old town is perfect for walking, but only find 20 to make a dwarf, but listen to the front desk beauty. Four hundred! The security guard at the front desk also interacted with my son to play a single number. The room and the sixth floor restaurant looked very comfortable in the city.

Reception and common areas felt quite dark and sombre. Reception was efficient but not over friendly, although they do operate a 24/7. Had to ask for a taxi at 5am after being let down and they were obliging. Were offered a double room but chose the twin, but this was really two day beds at either end of the room. Beds were not over comfortable. Room overlooked the alley and was noisy till gone midnight (even with the windows closed). Room was hot, although there was a fan. Bathroom was fine. Cleaning was efficient. Small.lift to upper floors. Security was visible in the evenings. Good selection at breakfast (7-11). Full range of cold foods, cereals, breads etc. and hot sausages. Eggs could be requested. A small breakfast room, waitress quite friendly. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location just behind the old town square. There is a separate restaurant which fronts the Rynek. If there was a bar we didn't see it and weren't pointed towards it. However, given there are hundreds of bars and restaurants just outside this was not a problem. In summary, a reasonable hotel, definitely not 4 star, but a good 3. On balance we wouldn't use it again.

Well, by their own admission it is NOT a hotel but merely a hostel. This is what they told us, when we enquired, why our room had not been cleaned in the morning. You can get it cleaned for 5 Euro-they said-, which poses interesting questions: what about toiletries, toilet tissue, if they run out and one doesn’t pay up? Needless to say, it says nowhere about it. Neither on the hostel website, nor on booking.com we used. Not a major problem, so long one is forewarned what one books oneself into. There are other faults here as well. One peculiarity is the hotel is situated over Biedronka(ladybird) supermarket, local equivalent of Lidl, Netto and the like. Guests and customers share the same spacious carpark for which at the reception you get a little printout with hotel’s logo and name. The supermarket operates late hours and, in the evening, draws some unsavoury characters. It can actually be advantageous if you need something to eat or drink. They have done their best to separate one business from the other with limited success. Consequently, the even number rooms facing east look onto some green areas and have balconies and terraces, whereas the uneven ones on both floors look west onto the busy carpark. How exciting! The hostel looks brand new and modern with interesting decor alluding to the world-famous zoo nearby. It is well located close to Szczytnicki Park, the river, and zoo. A bit too far away to get to the city canter on foot. Trams and busses operate in front of the hostel-no sweat. The lobby and bar are quite nice. The restaurant one floor up serves decent breakfasts 7.30-10.00 at apx 8 Euro. Dinners? Come evening it becomes an oriental restaurant and we had quite delicious Thai pat tai there one evening at a reasonable price I can sincerely recommend. They ran out of white wine though. No problem! We bought one in the supermarket below and had it with our meal. Yes, it is a bit odd but it’s a hostel, remember? Quite a nice evening! There is a lift, should you drink too much. The room we had was nice, we paid extra for the balcony, I seem to recall. Flat screen TV has only Polish channels, which is a pity. You also get a miniscule hairdryer, a kettle with cups, teapots and...literally two teabags (mint tea and black ). Below the desk is also a small fridge. Empty, no minibar or complimentary water. King size bed was very comfortable. The room was clean, modern and well thought out. However, motion sensor which activates light is a sheer nonsense as it triggers even when one moves in bed. Bathroom with shower is good quality. Toiletries on the other hand - rather mediocre. Air-conditioning works well. On the top floor you will also find a small gym, though I am not sure if it is included in the price. Last thing: there was some disruption in the flow of information between booking.com and the hostel and in spite of us making sure we had the booking confirmed (we called the reception twice), upon our arrival it transpired the booking ha

Beautiful, new hotel, very high tech. and contemporary throughout. Located right in the square, but extremely difficult to find! Not even local business people could find the location even with the address in hand. Actually had to phone the reception person who came out onto the square to find me and escort us to parking and the hotel. It definitely needs signage . I looked for 30 minutes before phoning the hotel. Coffee, tea and snacks available in the room. Numerous restaurants, pubs, ice cream, close in the square. Very quiet in rooms and breathtaking view from rooftop patio. I would definitely stay there again!

At the back entrance take parking ticket, later during check-out replace it to the free exit ticket. Check-in itself was fast and smooth. Room on the top floor was spacious, very well maintained and equipped (air conditioning, digital safe box, minibar, tv, work desk). Air conditioning was silent (had to play with remote a bit). Stayed for 3 nights in the Kamienica Pod Aniolami- 1-2-3rd of December, The location of the Hotel is good, please read my full review, Arrival/check in, we were greeted by a young gentleman on reception and given our room cards, i explained i wanted to pay my bill in cash-Euro but he did not know how to do this transaction and asked could i pay the next day when there was a more experienced staff member on which was not a problem Going out that night i asked the guy for directions to Setka Bar which i knew was near by but he said he never heard of it, it turned out it was right next to the hotel? I booked through Booking.Com and the price was 130 euro yet the next day when i went to pay the receptionist asked for 140 Euro? The Room- the room is of average size, two single beds pushed together as a double, the beds are very low and not very comfortable, the pillows are flat and terrible- need to be replaced There is NO dressing table or full length mirror in the bedroom in which my wife was not impressed- ie trying to put on make up etc. The room has no safe, no tea and coffee facilities , only 3 hangers in the wardrobe for two people to use. Bathroom/wet room is of a reasonable size, cleanliness was good, the toiletries are of very poor quality, the towels need to be thrown out and replaced, they were hard and ripped around the edging, good water pressure in the shower. Cleaning- the cleaning ladies do not clean, they quickly replace the toiletries and towels and that is it. The day of check out, the lady on reception allowed us leave our luggage as we not been picked up until 1515 and our check out time was 11am, we went into the city and returned at 1440, we asked at reception could we buy some coffee from the restaurant and we were told no , there were staff in th erestaurant setting up tables etc, Would i stay here again- No- room was poor, cheap toiletries, staff not very friendly , poor quality towels and i forgot to mention that the rooms are not very warm either at night or early mornings.

The hotel is not 5 star luxury - but with 1 star rating it has 3 stars facilities. It has everything that hotel should provide - comfy bad, working, spacious shower, toilet in the room. Cable TV with Canal Plus and great movies - that I didn’t have in 5 stars hotels. Plus you can see that someone is thinking about the visitors needs. No socket nearby - you can rent extender in the reception. No dryer - reception can rent you one. Fancy a coffee? For 4 zloty you can get it from express anytime you want. Beer? 24/7 downstairs in the vending machine. Very close to the city centre - even faster using tram or bus instead of a car (we tried both ways). Facilities for the children, parking space, park with small lake just behind the hotel. We got more than we could expect for this price. Highly recommend - if you are not a posh knob who needs marbles and golden cutlery. Didn’t check breakfast - but it looks ok too.

For me the only downside was the loud music playing either in the hotel itself or in a neighbouring building (I never worked out which). This goes on until midnight, and then less loudly for another few hours. Not sure whether this was just in the run up to Christmas, but it makes it unsuitable for families with young children, I'd say.

The service is average. The key is that Ctrip made a mistake and booked one less room. Fortunately, resolved soon

We recently had to cancel our non-refundable reservation due to the global pandemic. Our flight had been cancelled which precluded a visit to Poland. Jagoda Dorosz, Host of the Puro Wroclaw Stare Miasto went out of her way to accommodate us. We received the best of service from her. Excellent service from hotel as well. Any future visit to Wroclaw will include the Puro Hotel.
