0.01km from Upahaar70 % for OYO room is very good with a beautiful view from both sides of the window plus a terrace near by. It's a 3-4 minute walk from the mall Road. Cosy small room with good WiFi and set breakfast. OYO offered what they promised but there is something that's beyond their control. I left a glass with some water in it and used tissue next to it. It remained there for one and a half days....... The tea stains on the small table remain seated till you ask them to clean. The Thermos lid is not cleaned for months and the most cool part is the reception people can see you walking down from a long time of 2 to 3 minutes. All of them are around the main door but nobody opens the door for you. They'll watch you going down the stairs to your room. Very strange!! All this comes in 30% food deserves to be in 70%.Hot fresh yummy food....

0.09km from UpahaarThe hotel is located very near to mall road. The hospitality was too good.staff was very friendly. Food was so tasty. Rooms were big and clean. Bathroom has geyser for hot water. Parking facility was provided but it was so difficult for to take the car to the hotel as the road was so narrow and only professional drivers can take the car to the hotel. Suggestion would be to park the car outside of mall road if you are not confident as road to hotel was really so tough to drive.

0.14km from UpahaarWe family of 4 checked inn the family room with 2 double beds and very satisfied by the services provided by the hotel in the price we paid. I got a throwaway deal from MMT and believe me Hotel is located on the Mall Road itself and approach of everything is very near.It is next to Ropeway which goes to Gunpoint. The ***ager is a very helpful person and responds very well and all your queries are fully answered. However hotel Rock Stone is somebit old so the interiors are not impressive but in the price paid you will be satisfied an at last I want to say that food is also good.
0.18km from UpahaarDo not expect too much from this hotel. I got it at a deal price of just Rs.1000 online and seeing the address as The Mall road, I was quite impressed. But to my surprise it is not in the heart of the place. You will have to commute atleast 2 km for getting access to bus or auto. The rooms are good but there are frequent issues with electricity causing the pain. The staff are also not very responsive to complaints. The restaurant quality needs a serious change for better.

Hotel Himalayan Club is a must visit for anyone looking for a cozy, rustic, old-time property in right at the heart of Mussorie. It's walkable from Mall Road and yet conveniently secluded at a distance up the slope. This place has amazing food, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Plenty of space to move around outside the rooms, (for parties, work etc) The views are really nice. I got extremely attached to my room by the end of the visit! Cannot wait to go back.
This is a hidden gem tucked away From the hustle and bustle of mussorie. Situated in the midst of nature. My advise is, opt for the suite room. It has an opening to a sit out / terrace / balcony area which is welcomes a huge variety of birds early in the morning. It's a bird lovers paradise. The rooms are good and clean, enough to keep a nature lover satisfied. The views are wonderful and the night view is also amazing with glitering lights from mussorie town. This is not just a one star hotel it's a hundred star hotel - don't forget to count the stars in unpolluted sky. Ravinder and team were just as amazing. They worked really hard to ensure our comfort. Food was good and customised to our liking. I am so glad I booked this hotel instead of the crowded mall road ones.
Nestled at a stone throw distance from the hustling bustling mall road at Mussorie is this gem called Pine Retreat. A rather colonial retreat which also has the comforts of a modern day property. The warmth of the staff makes you feel welcome from the word GO. The rooms are tastefully done , the veran*** reminds one of the colonial shots seen in films & a little grassy patch makes a perfect retreat. Hot breakfast served in the lawn and the comfort of an inner dining hall with a fire place leaves you spoilt for choice The food is cooked to your taste and served eloquently And the best part is that you don't even need to rent a vehicle , should you want to get to the busy mall road. All in all - a fantastic experience !
Visited as a business traveller in late February 2020. The hotel has the most beautiful and panoramic views of the valley and of Dehradun city below. Food is excellent and the staff is very helpful. Rooms are quite large and can easily accommodate two with the luggage. The hotel has a very nice portico and an excellent lobby, it is also a very large property and requires some walking to explore the full area. Mussorie city center is around 20-25 minutes from the hotel. Ideal for a quite getaway ....far from the madding crowd.

We visited Rokeby ***** with family - wife, kids and both set of parents. Will certainly rate this as one of the best vacations we had. We were already out in the hills for 10 days prior to this, and this was our final stop before heading back to Bombay. A lovely decision, made even better with the experience that Rokeby & Landour relay. They are almost synonymous with each other. I could speak about a lot of things about our 5 days there - a historical property, great value, fantastic food, wow location, etc etc. but you can read that in other reviews. What made this special for us was the classic service of every single employee of theirs - be it from the gate keeper, to the reception, to the restaurant, to the room service - the staff had a way to make you feel at home. This was home!! A small glimpse of that was expressed one day when we stepped out for a walk around the town (it is best experienced on foot)... We walked a few minutes and all of a sudden it started to rain heavily. With parents & kids en-suite, we were suddenly scampering and figuring how to find shelter. The rain was heavy. Just when i started to try to run back to get help (we had walked about 500 meters away already), Lo behold, I see a scooter drive up fast to us in the rain. Riding it, getting drenched himself, was the staff from the reception, a young gentle*** ... Sandeep Semwal !! He had seen us leave 10 minutes earlier, noticed the rain and remembered we might not have umbrellas, and took it upon himself to find us and hand us a bunch of umbrellas that he brought *****!! This single incident probably best sum up the place for you... great warm hospitable place with loads of charm and proud exemplary service by folks like Sandeep. To Sandeep & Teams, thank you for making this so special. We will be back again and again, for sure.
Overall it was a good stay. We used to stay in this hotel and this time we stayed in their newly constructed super deluxe rooms, which were good. View from the balconey was clear as there was no obstacle in between. Service was as usual fast and good. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. Food this time was ok. We used to like their tea a lot, but this time it was ok. Rest, everythig was good. Indeed, it is one of the best budget hotel in Mussoorie.

I visited The Sylverton in mid March. It was a solo visit. I have visited this Hotel ***y times with family, friends, for business, for leisure but seriously, the comfort level what I have here can't be explained. The staff is so humble and helpful..it seems they know me more than I myself do. They know my preffered room, newspaper, my food tastes... amazing. If I am in Mussoorie I cannot think of any other hotel. The staff is great, food is awesome, approach perfect, view from hotel lovely. Hightea great, evening hotel engaged activities mast. One of the most important mention was awareness of Covet 19. During checking I was asked about my travel history, could find hand sanitizers in reception, restaurant. I appreciate the hotel ***agement for this. Just one thing to say loudly "I will always be your guest in Mussoorie" I can mention all staff by name but would say thank you Team Sylverton and all the best for your new name The Ramada Mussoorie!!!!!!
Had pleasure stay in hotel crystal palace. Nice service with all amenities staff were also cooperative. We had booked super deluxe doon valley room with full glass window from which you can see the whole view of Mussoorie looks amazing at night... Front office staff were all helpful and professional..... Overall nice experience and will look forward to stay again...thank u crystal palace for giving this wonderful experience...
Location: Located at a 10 minutes walking distance from Gandhi chowk, Mussourie. Hygiene: was good and rooms were well maintained Service: Pathetic service, no response despite several requests. No hot water was available. There was nothing that the staff did to resolve the matter. Food: The hotel offered a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food taste and quality was okay. The best part of this hotel is probably only its location. I wouldn't personally recommend this hotel to anyone based on the experience that I had.
Hello All! I visited the hotel with half a dozen of my friends during mid december. Not only the property is as good as a 4/5 star hotel but the service and cooperation of the staff and ***agement is commendable. During the trip we faced a challenge as one of our friends travelling ***** got sick in the middle of the night and we had to take him to the hospital in emergency in the middle of the night. The owner of the hotel with one of the staff of the hotel took us to the hospital in Dehradun and waited till the situation was normalised. The owner helped us to arrange a transport to travel back to Delhi and no extra tariff was levied on us during late checkout (6 PM) as the hotel staff and ***agement was aware of the emergency situation. It's not only the comfort that a hotel provides during the stay but also the support during such emergencies that brings aces to their feedback. I hope noone faces such situation during their vacation but if you do it's better to be somewhere where all the support required is just a call away. Based on a true incidence. Happy Vacation! :D
* no comfort slippers at the room * no washroom slippers * no propper water supply as water gets out of supply any time and hot running water was also an added trouble * very small rooms like i booked a deluxe room but i was too much dissapointed when i saw the size as it ended before it started * faced a 4 hour powercutt in the hotel like it became too dark while doing check out * no one receives the calls for room service at one ring , minimum you need to call three to four time full rings * a dog was contiounsly roaming in the premises and was too stinky and scary which is too dangerous for the kids * bedsheets , pillow covers and blankest were dirty ,i think they did not changed it after the check out of previous guest as i told them but they denied * we also found coakroach in our room and made complaint regarding it but no reply from the help desk * what i saw in the photos and booked the room was too different when checked in * food was too delicious
If you are looking for a budget property with luxary experience, Devlok Primal is your choice. Located at a premium location just adjacent to the mall road, the hotel offers exceptional views of the doon valley and the Mussoorie winterline. The rooms are big, spacious and sparkling clean. Each room has been tastefully done up to meet your basic comfort needs. Needless to say the staff is courteous, very responsive, and very welcoming. Through these pandemic times, you can be rest assured about the safety and hygine. The hotel offers utmost precations and sanitization measures, both for you luggage upon checkin, and your rooms. In addition, you can look forward to some delicious fingerlicking meals at very, very affordable prices. Again special thanks to YASH SUNILJI SATPALJI MAHESHJI ANANDJI & OTHERS going back with lovely memories for life time .
I think in 1700 rupees, I could not find this nice hotel in Ahmedabad. I have got a home-like relief at a very low price. The rooms were perfectly clean and well maintained. Have fun in sleeping in bed. The food arrangement was great. I did not have any tension in one night.
Kas***da Palace sits tall above Mussoorie, like a bottle of fine wine, aged to perfection. The property lives up to its legendary status aided by superbly maintained heritage structure and its gracious staff. The boutique stay experience is detailed down to every level, from the food menu, to the well maintained lawns, the wooden furniture, the gilded insignia of the erstwhile Kas***da state being proudly displayed ***** with other remnants from The Raj. None of the photos do justice to the outdoor seating, lined with magnolia trees at the back, and the wide, unhindered vista of Mussoorie's ridge and Dehra far away in the plains. The wifi was absent though, and the rooms got a little cold during our stay there (early snowfall, the first time in three years in December!), but these were both resolved by the attentive front desk, and we really didn't miss wifi either. A special mention of our attending ***ager, Mr.Surveer, who kept us warm with hot chocolates. Good service is serving when ordered, but great service is anticipating our needs and tailoring the services to them- be it the reduced food portions noticing our appetite, warm dessert suggestions, salad with spicy dishes, even weather predictions- he has been the highlight of our stay at Kas***da Palace. His service is just a personification of what WelcomHeritage group is trying to achieve, world class hotelling services in the context of India's unique legacy of heritage properties. If you are a creative, introspective, right-brained person, you can definitely sit by the Magnolia tree in any season and enjoy Mussoorie at its finest.
It was my honeymoon trip,I was so excited. When I reached to the hotel, registered over there.they got me surprise to decorate my room with balloons and towel art. I called there once and told them about my trip.they are really cool that they arranged it without ask me anything. This thing got me happy.they set up my candle dinner. Food was awesome. Staff were really cool and passionate for their work.wonderful surrounding. All about it that it was amazing trip that is unforgettable.
This hotel is reached just below the main mall of Mussoorie. The first room we were offered had a great view but the room itself was quite small and rather dark. We were offered another room close by which was larger and brighter. It was clean and comfortable. A word of warning....it is very easy to get lost inside this hotel which is on several levels in two main buildings! This was not a problem once we had been there a few hours. The staff were exemplary in their helpfulness. Dinner is served in the hotel although we elected to go and eat in the town. Breakfast was served in the same dining room and the was a very good choice of menu served by very pleasant staff. We would recommend this hotel to travelllers to Mussoorie.
We visited Mussoorie from 15th March'20 to 18th March' and stayed at Amatra Dunsvirk Court. It is a lovely property atop a hill with breathtaking views all around. We could see the snow capped Himalayas everyday and bask in the serenity. Our room was very comfortable and we were upgraded to a room with a better view free of charge. As it was atop a hill, its 1.7km upward from Library Chowk(Mall). Thus the hotel provides free shuttle service from 9am to 6pm till Library Chowk for both pickup and drop. Breakfast was complimentary and very tasty with options available in Indian, American and Continental platter. We ordered in-room lunch and dinner service and food was tasty. The prices for in-room menu were reasonable for most items barring few, like one plate of plain rice @ INR260 and dal makhni @ 360, where as dal tadka (yellow dal) was INR260. The hotel provides complimentary mineral water daily. Service was good and all our needs were catered to. Some dish preparations were customised as requested and it was very helpful. All staff were courteous and dedicated. Thanks to all the gentlemen who looked after us throughout our stay, namely Mr. Gourav (***ager), Mr. Shashank (Front Desk), Mr. ***n (F&B ***ager), Mr. Subhash Thakur (Restaurant), Mr.Behari Lal (housekeeping). The hotel is highly recommended for the view, spacious rooms and tasty food.
I booked online for 14k per night for 4 people. The location is good but the room is small when seen for 4 people with a hefty price tag. The food is also good and amenities are good. We had to constantly ask for all things to be given for 4 people. The room is small, when seen for 3-4 people. Its a normal room with a high ceiling and there's a staircase in the room which leads to just the small beds for 2. The hotel didn't let us open the balcony too and had it locked. The housekeeping staff was slow. The hotel looks beautiful but I was disappointed with thr room.. they gave us 2 different rooms for the next day(therefore the 4 stars).
When in Mussoorie, especially in tourist season, it is a herculean task to get a parking or your vehicle is not allowed inside the Mall Road. This Starz Clarks Inn adjacent to the Picture Palace Bus stand is a beautiful hotel with vast expanse of views of the Doon Valley. The rooms are clean and neat. There is the Bridge Restaurant catering to your gastronomic delights which is not a very large dining area but moderately priced. Outside they have made a seating area where you can sit and enjoy to chatter with friends and family accompanying you as you enjoy the cool climate and beautiful views. The first floor rooms have a better view as compared to the ground floor and it is suggested to take the rooms on the right wing of the hotel. Ofcourse, the upper floor rooms are expensive and they term it is 'Valley View Rooms'. But, worth it. Best part of the hotel is you can drive in and park your vehicle without any hassles because its entrance is before the Nagar Nigam barrier of the Mall road.
I visited Mountain Quail resort on 27th Feb. Had been there only for one night but the experience was very pleasant. The place is very close (within 1km) to Mall road, mainly behind library junction and on the way to company garden. The hotel has sufficient parking space. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The toilet is also very hyegenic. The view from the rooms are also excellent with the valley being entirely visible. Also you can see the snow clad mountains on a clear day at a distance. Free wifi and power backup is available. Tata sky connection is available supporting a wide range of tv channels. Room Heaters are available during winters at a small additional charge. The staff was supportive and well ***nered. Excellent food and good service by staff. The restaurant is also very spacious and very well maintained.
The hotel pics on websites are ***ipulated. Rooms are way smaller. We booked it online with pay at hotel option via treebo website. Upon reaching, we were told that the booking stands cancelled. We were not told this earlier by treebo or the hotel. Then the person on the reception insisted to book it offline though it was still available online. We booked it offline and he gave us a room and after taking the payment, he disclosed that he only cancelled our booking since he was expecting tourist rush. Upon reaching there, to our shock, it was a 8ft × 15ft room with old infrastructure. Though the bathroom was clean and with excellent fittings but no toiletries were there. There were no slippers and reception denied to provide one, there was no AC and we were asked to pay 300 extra for a room heater for which no bill was given. It was snowing outside at that time. There was only a thin blanket and after much debate we were provided with additional one. The meals were also below average and hotel provided us less amount of food when ordered but when we complained, they topped it up. At the time of check out, we asked them to clean the snow of the path till the main road as the slant entrance path was covered with snow and was dangerously slippery. To this the receptionist said that there is no point of debating and they won't clear it at all. This hotel is a cheat and below average in amenities. Only good point is the location. Ty there is another option, Silver Rock, next to it which is much better. Treebo should also look what they are offering to the customers.
This is a very good hotel in Missouri..the rooms are big enough..the hospitality of the staffs are also very polite and friendly which is a very good sign to attract tourists...the hotel has both ac as well as non AC rooms..
Hotel location is centered, breakfast is not bad, corridors and rooms are darker, personally do not like this color, especially arriving at night, looking at the dark, the first day to stay in the quilt has a little tide, the room is a little bit taste, then a few days Just met the wall in the corridor, it was a sour, good taste in the room can be small, confirmed a little, Wi-Fi is free
Good breakfast in the lobby, there is a Chinese restaurant, a good restaurant, a small restaurant, the younger brother, the younger sister, the Indian accent is the only one I did not understand in my trip to India (I average 7.5 IELTS) but very polite check in too hot to give ice small Towels, but called ola, the door is not easy to find a way to go against it. However, in India, it is normal dinner. You can go to the opposite side of the bridge to eat the buffet. You can also walk around the small supermarket for five or six minutes and take a taxi for half an hour at the hotel. You can go to the Palace of Winds JP Station and the airport to estimate a 45-minute drive to Amber Fort.
