You dont get a luxury experience here. But what you get, is a bed, a clean room, and a location VERY close to were all the fun is. Parking is difficult and quite expensive, so another time I would maybe park further away, and take the train or bus to the hotel. I did not buy the breakfast buffet there, because the area is full of cafes and bakerys.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this hotel while we were in Munich to see the Christmas markets. The hotel's very convenient to the train station -- it's an easy walk of a mile or so. It's also convenient to the Christmas markets; the few stalls at Senlinger Tor are very close, and it doesn't take long to get to the markets at Marienplatz. The hotel is very modern and clean. Bedrooms seem to be on the smallish side; there's not a lot of room to maneuver around the bed(s). But bathrooms are a decent size. We didn't try the breakfast, which seemed rather expensive (19 Euro per person!). But there are many restaurants and stores nearby where you can purchase food. All rooms are several floors up (the lobby is up a flight from the ground floor, and guest rooms start on the floor above that), so there's virtually no street noise even though the hotel's located in a fairly busy pedestrian area.

We stayed here during the Christmas Markets. It was an easy walk from the Salingertor Station (be sure to use the correct exit which has an up escalator but no down escalator). There is a lot of construction in the area and heavy traffic,so exiting on the correct exit is a must! Coming from the airport with luggage, exit the metro car at Marinplatz and change lines to one going to Salinger Tor station. It is an easy walk with no luggage but with luggage and the crowds at the market, we decided to change lines. The check in was easy and friendly. Our prepaid reservation was without breakfast but they did have it available as well as a nice small bar. The elevator is very small but it held both of us and our luggage which is very small. The room was filled with charming antique furniture so if you want new and matching, this is not for you. The room was clean and the linens were nice. Our only complaint was the soap/body wash/shampoo was limited. We asked for more and received it with no problem. The gentleman at the front desk remembered our name and room number each time we saw him, even when we checked out for a few days and returned for a second stay. It is close to everything but away from the craziness.

I would give MINUS 5 STARS if possible! We booked for 5 people for the start of Oktoberfest, for 4 nights. It cost a ridiculous €2000 for 2 rooms, but it was a special occasion for us. We booked through Booking.com, who I point out were very helpful to us......unlike this shower of utter charlatans! Due to a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, all travel has been thrown up in the air, but Centro Mondial couldnt give 2 💩s about that! We did not book Free Cancellation, as it was an additional €700, but due to the lockdowns, quarantines, flight cancellations and the fact that Oktoberfest itself was cancelled, we believed there was something that could be done. We asked if a possible refund could be given, they declined. We even offered to defer the booking till next year, their offer was €300 voucher to be used within a year, meaning it couldnt even be used for next years Oktoberfest! Booking.com asked them to help, they refused. Then they tell us they had offered €600 voucher, which was a lie. They have been hiding behind Booking.com, lying that they cannot refund because of them, whereas Booking.com asked them to refund. ***DO NOT GO NEAR THIS UTTER SESPIT OF A SO CALLED HOTEL, unless you want to get stung! I will be posting on every single media outlet the pathetic "help" that these criminals have offered, profiting off a global pandemic.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in July. The hotel is situated a short walk away from Karlsplaz, in the city center. The main walking streets, subway stations, main railway station are all very close to the hotel. The hotel is very new and very clean. Our double room was good sized with nice bathroom (very good rainfall shower). Because of the restrictions due to COVID, the breakfast was not offered and the room was not serviced daily. We could get a complimentary coffee and croissant in the morning in the lobby bar and if we needed a change of towels etc. we could just ask the reception. All the staff in the hotel was very nice and helpful. The hotel is of an excellent value being within a walking distance from everywhere and we would definitely stay there again.

In good faith and with the joyful expectation of a long awaited family vacation we made plans back in early February to stay at the Hotel Exquisit for the final night of a family trip on September 20.  At the time of our booking, we paid $1,179 in good faith using the “non-refundable” price (which saved us maybe $150 at the time). Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus, the German government prohibited our entry as US citizens into the country and all of our flights were canceled making our stay impossible. After working with Hotels.com and calling and emailing the hotel directly multiple times over the course of several months, the hotel has REFUSED TO work with us or REFUND ANY PORTION of our payment. We have been told that our request hdd been passed on to the hotel’s managers, Maria Sperger-Bolla and Ivan Bolla, but they have failed to ever respond to us. Out of the 50 reservations that we have had to adjust this year, the Hotel Exquisit is the ONLY one that has refused any type of refund or response due to COVID cancellations. We may never be able to go to Munich, but if we ever do get the opportunity WE WILL DEFINITELY NOT stay at the Hotel Exquisit and we recommend that you don’t either. Their example is NOT an “Exquisit” experience in any way other than a disappointing one. Support businesses with integrity instead.

Convenient location, near the subway station, the airport S8 can be directly reached, 10 to 15 minutes walk from the central railway station, walk to the Marienplatz, the overall urban area is so large and many places can be reached on foot. The environment is better than the noise around the train station. A bathroom hygiene needs to be improved. Service is OK, overall health can, recommend. However, the price during the exhibition is much higher, and the fluctuation of the predetermined price is recommended. Or pick a non-show period.

This hotel is in a great location, the room we had was lovely, spacious, and with lots of facilities, and the reception staff all really helpful. We stayed during the pandemic and the hotel had made various plans to make us feel safe and protected during our stay. We may visit Munich on a regular basis and we will certainly choose this hotel in future. At the beginning of our trip we stayed 1 night at a much more expensive hotel opposite the Victuallemart - whilst it was nice the Mercure knocked spots off it, and the Mercure was cheaper too. We'll also look out for Mercure hotels in other towns on the basis of this stay.

We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Olympic in December 2019. It is a small, cozy, bed and breakfast with the most excellent and friendly staff! Our stay was made extra special by Andreas (at the front desk). Andreas was extremely welcoming, and told us all about the wonderful neighborhood...including a recommendation of a walking tour. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and kind. The hotel has an art exhibit throughout that they change every month or two. The room we were in was beautiful, with a balcony into the courtyard, it was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was wonderful with local, organic foods, and Andreas explained to us what everything was and where it had been procured. He also came around, personally, to make sure we were happy and brought us fresh pretzels...this was after he escorted us to the beautiful table with a couch and window into the courtyard. The location was perfect for walking to the Viktualienmarkt and to Marienplatz as well as other central old town sites. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Munich.

The only Munich city center square is very close to the central train station. It is a 5-minute walk from the hotel, but the underground square of Munich central station is very large. Please pay attention to the guide signs. The hotel room is too small, but the layout is reasonable, it is okay for a person to travel, it is not suitable for a little bit, the hotel does not provide breakfast, but there are many places to eat nearby, and it is convenient. If you come to Munich for the first time, it is good to choose here alone. After all, it is very close to the scenic spots such as Mariaplatz and Munich's Grand Palace.

We were looking for a comfy hotel near Munich’s railway station as we were arriving by train and had a business trip to Nuremburg the following day. A quick search confirmed the Hotel Europa fitted the bill nicely. All went well until we got to our room which reeked of cigarette smoke. Fortunately we could open the windows but this sort of problem does not go away quickly. You often read how hotels fine smokers who defy the NO SMOKING ROOM sign – if it was my hotel ,I would have tracked the offender down and slugged a $250 cleaning fee. Housekeeping must have known by the way - but the front desk had no idea. Not a great start. The property is reasonably modern – reminds me of an older Travelodge – and a little tired. Goodies included a fully stocked mini bar, power beside the bed, a couple of chairs and an excellent walk-in shower. The safe instructions are hard to read and there is no iron/board. There is a large lounge/restaurant/bar on the ground floor plus a garden terrace (would be a pleasant spot in summer). We relaxed and enjoyed cocktails at the lounge each evening before dinner from a very limited menu that includes salads, a curry, a burger, skewers and beef ribs. A comprehensive and very tasty breakfast is also served at the restaurant. The staff worked hard to ensure we enjoyed our stay – it’s just a pity a smoker had to spoil the experience.

The platform booked a room with a sofa bed according to the hotel and platform information, and indicated that it is bringing children. After arriving at the store, the front desk didn't know if there were children staying. It was a bit unpleasant, but the problem was solved quickly. The price provided by Ctrip is particularly good. My room was small but clean and the breakfast was good. Every interaction I had with the staf was friendly and effcient - no complaints. My particular room had an issue (114) which impacted my stay. On my second night, a green light started blnking on an internal door that either led to the room next door or HVAC/Plumbing. I came down in the morning (wasn't going to do in middle of the night) and informed the front desk who apologized and said it would be handled immediately. My third night the light was still blinking. Being here for work - this greatly impacted my sleep as I could see it clearly from the bed. Not wanting to come off as the stereotypical loud and pushy American, I informed them quitely the problem hadn't been fixed. Saying it would be fixed again, on my final night, the light was much dimmer but still there. Looking back I should have demanded to be moved to another room but I was too busy with work. Would I stay here again? Absolutely, it is right next to the location of my trade show with restaurants, the subway, and shopping down the street. You can get to the city center in 25 minutes. Very friendly staff. My situation was unique and I should have pushed the issue more as, given the events in town, it wasn’t a cheap stay.

Breakfast is included, and the breakfast is rich and good. There is a small cooking table on the side of the entrance. Although the sparrow is small and complete, it has pots, pans and dishwashers. The parking lot is the one with the big hertz written on it. The hotel sign is relatively small and I didn't see it. It was only found on the day of picking up the car. We parked by mistake and parked in the parking lot of the next motel 1, but when motel 1 paid the parking fee, the enthusiastic brother at the front desk said it was okay. He paid the parking fee and gave the ticket. The parking fee is much cheaper than the designated parking lot of the hotel. Piece

We were looking for a convenient hotel to visit various parts of town and we sure found one. Hotel has a parking garage, so we just left the car there for all five days and followed a suggestion of the young receptionist, who suggested to buy a public transportation multi-day pass for all four of us. The tram stop was just outside a few steps away and it took us everywhere where we wanted or needed to go. There was even the oldest brewery Augustiner Bier Garden within walking distance as an added bonus to our visit. Hotel has clean and efficient rooms, excellent breakfast and above all, very friendly and helpful staff. Will stay here again next time!

The hotel is located 2 minutes from U-Bahn station Theresienwiese, very close to Oktoberfest venue, and 20 minutes easily on foot to Marienplatz. For the price we paid you will not find a better one in the central area of Munich. The room was ready before noon when we arrived. While reading other guests' comments, I wonder if we stayed at the same hotel? Some of the guests complained that they were freezing, sleeping with their coats over blankets – however it was quite the opposite! Because of these comments I took my warmest pyjamas with me that I did not wear at all, as it was very warm in the room (we stayed 5 nights in December). The radiators can be adjusted manually as you please, from cold to super warm! Some other said they had only one towel per person, we had two and one for the floor, and they were changed whenever we threw them on the shower floor. Room was cleaned daily, and it was quite large, with nice seating area, perfectly quiet (our room was facing the yard, 3rd floor), with comfy beds, super Wi-Fi (very strong signal). It is not luxurious, but nothing was lacking in the room (even the hairdryer was there, obviously other complaining guests could not find it, as it was in the desk drawer). Breakfast was standard and decent, the only minus for us was the lack of scrambled eggs. Staff was very nice and helpful and I would recommend this place without hesitation!

Would definitely not recommend this hotel over Easter, or in fact at all!! We stayed here over Easter with my elderly mother and disabled sister. The staff were rude and unhelpful. They would not provide a disability room although this was requested. All restaurants and bars were closed the entire stay!! This was not communicated before our stay. We asked to speak with the manager and were told that he was on holiday over the weekend and could not be disturbed. The receptionist sent us to a restaurant (via bus) which was also closed!! We even asked to move to another Mercure and were told that there was no point, because all their restaurants were closed over the Easter period. We found out later that this was not true. Very disappointed in Mercure and would not book again.

Two good things about this hotel are an attractive room rate and a truly awesome breakfast buffet. Rilano 24/7 is a budget wing of a Rilano Resort and Conference hotel, one of a small chain of eight upscale houses. It is located on Munich´s north-eastern city limit in a green neighbourhood of apartment buildings mixed with business offices. Downtown is some 40 minutes away by bus and U-Bahn. My room was a solid 2-star affair. Any attempt to present it above that level would be, in my opinion, wishful thinking. It was small, Spartan, and had a colour palette with a strong prevalence of dark brown hues. My biggest issue with the room was that it was HOT. There is no AC in the budget wing. I arrived at the end of a brief warm weather streak and the room felt like a hothouse. It remained unpleasantly warm even after outside temperature dropped to around 15 degrees C. Keeping the horizontal slit of a window wide open helped, although tourist buses parked in the street right below were sometimes a bit of a nuisance. At night, however, it was hardly a solution at all. The bed´s headboard was placed right under the window and even when it was only tipped open, my head got, so to speak, in the wind. Speaking of the bed, I generally do prefer firm beds, but in this case the mattress was hard as a wooden board. Pillows were kind of OK despite having some lumpy stuff as filling. The bathroom was equipped with a rather narrow half-tub instead of a shower cubicle. It made showering a bit of a balancing act. An antiquated water screen made of two glass panels wobbled at the hinges, with one of the fittings finally coming completely off. The washbasin drain was clogged when I checked in and could be finally fixed by a hotel plumber after some two days of tinkering. Last but not least, on returning once after a full day´s work I found the door of my room ajar. Surprise… Even next morning the hotel couldn´t offer any specific explanation for this incident beyond a vague hypothesis involving a forgetful cleaner, or may be plumber. Not that I was particularly worried, after all we were in Munich and not in some high-crime area, but all things considering, at check-out the room rate didn´t seem quite like a bargain anymore. The breakfast, on the other hand, passed its daily test with flying colours, it stayed as good as it gets.

The location is very good, very close to the Deutsches Museum, passing through a green belt and a very beautiful river. And even walking to Munich city centre and Marianne Square is 20-30 minutes. And the separation of a river makes the hotel very quiet. And next to the hotel is an Audi 4S shop, you can go in and see the price of Audi in Germany, haha But I have to say that the conditions inside the room are really average. I am giving the room type with a loft inside the top floor. The bedroom was very small, and I could only put down a bed. I was very happy to see that the bedroom was pushed out and there was a large terrace. But then I found that the terrace was completely connected to the next door, which was not in line with the Chinese people’s habits. It also makes people feel unsafe. The air conditioning in the room is almost equal to the display, plus a few days just arrived in Munich, the sun is shining, it is very hot. So it is difficult to sleep at night. I don't know if it is only the top floor room type. This is an apartment-style hotel with a kitchen in the room. If you want to cook for yourself, it is very convenient. I don't know what it is. In the few days we stayed, we saw that almost half of the tourists in the hotel were Indians. The room area was full of curry.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room itself is typical for European small hotels - rather cramped, a double bed, small chair, tea kettle, small closet, safe, not much else. The bathroom was fine as well, nice water pressure in the shower. My room was bright and quiet and I slept quite well! The breakfast at 16€ is a bit high considering it’s very simple. Make a left out of the hotel and walk a few blocks and you’ll hit a couple of cafes where you can get a great breakfast for half the price. Like most people said, the hotel is simple - I didn’t expect 5-star service or amenities but I do find it very disappointing that there is no gym or mini fridge in the room. I like to keep refrigerated snacks and drinks in my room but wasn’t able to. As for gyms, there are two nearby but the day pass is 25€ - also quite expensive! I wish the hotel had a deal for discounted rates for guests but again, this is not a luxury hotel. All in all, it does the job. Great location, cute neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.

This hotel was booked as part of a British Airways holiday package. It is in the district of Harras, which is to the south west of Munich, with less than a 5 minute walk to the S-Bahn (S7) and U-Bahn (U6) Harras Station, which gives easy access to the centre and all transport links. There are also bus stops for the X30 and 54 which are very slightly nearer and they connect with the Ostbahnhof in the east. The area is fairly quiet in the evening and certainly feels safe. The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. Although I do try to speak German, they can certainly speak English. There is a small bar ( very reasonable prices ) with a friendly barman. I did not use the restaurant so cannot comment on the meals including their breakfast. There are cafes within 5 -10 minutes walk if breakfast is wanted outside. The room ( standard double) was on the top floor and though not quite as well appointed as seen in some of the photos on the website, it was very clean, warm, certainly comfortable and very quiet. The bathroom was large with a large shower and seemingly never-ending hot water. There was also a good sized room safe and a refrigerator ( stocked with mini bar drinks ). The TV was large and did even receive HD programming from some of the various German TV stations. There were very few English language channels but I don't come to Germany to watch English programmes ! The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard. It was nice to have a relaxed checkout at 12.00 noon and the staff were more than happy to store luggage if ( as in my case ) ones flight is later on in the evening. I understand that there is a sauna/hamam as part of the hotel but there was no information in the room concerning it. This is a good hotel stay if you are having a short city break and I would certainly return again if I was in Munich.

This is a very cost-effective European hotel, the same price, better than the Marriott next door. First of all, the location is very convenient. It is 300 meters on foot from the subway station. The Lufthansa Express Bus at the airport is also at the entrance of the subway station. It can be 10 Euros from here to the airport, 15 minutes. The room was very good, I stayed in a superior room, but the facilities were great and new. There is a capsule coffee machine, there is a glass bottle of water (with a gas without a gas), there are bathrobe slippers, the towel is very thick. The room is very soundproof and the curtains are perfect. Room attendants are well trained and not as cold as most hotels. Book breakfast at the front desk for 26 Euros at check-in, which is a few dollars cheaper than direct signing. I traveled Germany for 2 weeks. My last stop was Munich. During the trip I mostly stayed in A&O hostels which is one the cheaper side (€45 vs €80 for a single room). Well for what difference are you paying? A more international vibe with more educated travelers, in A&0 hostels I have met construction workers who were working and just looked for the cheapest accommodation available. While in Wombat it were people who were traveling just like me and had full-time jobs as a teacher, accountant, urban planner, journalist or as a project manager. Nothing wrong with construction workers though, I enjoined my drinks with them as much as enjoined my drinks with the wombats residents. But if you are looking to meet equally minded people you are better off in the wombat hostel. The kitchen and lounge area were very clean. This was during covid times, occupancy rate was low, and they tried to separate the guest as much as possible, so if you paid for a 10 person dorm room you could be the only person in it. At the private room I had a big sunny terrace and a twin bed who was cleaned every day. Unfortunate the WiFi didn't reached my room. When the sun was out it could get very hot in my room. Note that during my stay the bar was closed for covid reasons. To replace this they placed a fridge at the reception were you could buy a beer for €2 each. And in the lounge area we could drink and chat with other guest untill 0h00. About the staff: most were very friendly and tried to go the extra mile for you. One night we had to stop drinking in the lounge area and were moved friendly to the closed bar. But two days after with someone else manning the night shift this wasn't possible anymore. The neighborhood is great since I traveled by train. There is a supermarket at the train station which is open 24/24. There is also a cheaper option called Lidl nearby. Munich is big and expect to need to walk for at least a half hour if you want to see other attractions like English garden. One last note 5 nights in Munich is probably to long. There is a lot to see but I would recommend only a 3 day stay.

I arrived in the old Terminal 1 (Gates A to E) at Munich airport on an Air France flight from Paris. I came out of Gate E at the very end of the terminal and had to walk to Gate D to catch the Lufthansa Express bus from Modul D outside which comes every 15 minutes and costs €11 when you buy the ticket on the bus. It stops once near the Pullman in Schwabing and then at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The bus is comfortable and the trip takes 45 minutes. You then walk through the station and take the exit on the opposite side at Ausgang Süd Bayerstrasse. Cross the road, turn left then take the first on the right after the Italian restaurant on the corner and you will see the hotel a little further down on the left. It's a 10 minute walk. I got a friendly welcome from Thomas at reception who gave me a wooden key card instead of a plastic one. As a gold member I received a code for Premium Wifi, a voucher for a free drink and an upgrade to a privilege room on the 7th floor which was a duplex. The minibar was free and breakfast was included in the price. I also found a welcome note and a packet of chocolate covered almonds. The room was carpeted with the living room and bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom upstairs. It would have been nice to have some coat hooks near the door in the entrance to hang up a coat. There were two armchairs by a lamp and a small table with a cushion on one and one footstool which was fine as I was alone. There was a desk with an armchair and another lamp. The radiator was underneath the window but the long curtains covered it so I would suggest cutting the curtains to leave the radiator uncovered so it can better heat the room. There was a large TV screen, tea and coffee making facilities and a small bottle of Sekt in the free minibar with beer, soft drinks and some snacks. Upstairs there was another TV screen and radiator. There were tables and sockets on each side of the bed which was very comfortable with 4 pillows and 2 cushions. I called housekeeping to get a sheet as I am usually too hot with a duvet and it was delivered promptly to my room. I went to the restaurant on the ground floor for my free drink which was a tiny 10cl glass of white wine, I felt they could have been more generous with the serving. I had dinner there too and it was fine even if I had to wait for ages and there was far too much sauce in the Caesar's salad. There is no swimming pool or spa. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the town hall.

Very happy with our stay. a couple on a honeymoon across xmas/new year. The helpful and professional staff was the highlight of our stay. Room are spacious, clean and what you would exspect for any 3-4 star hotel. Location is absolutely amazing, we couldnt believe everytime we googled a resteruant, bar, oval, train, it was all withing 5-10min walking from the hotel. plus we walked across the road for 2min from the main munich train HBF station. the best location ever. 5 STAR HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Very good value too

The rooms are big and stunned, 3 times more than the average room. There is a sofa and there is a min kitchen. The restaurant is good around. Basically impeccable. Is the location is relatively biased, from the Reim and U2 subway station, walking 20 minutes, or transfer to the bus. There is also a supermarket within a 10-minute walk.

This hotel is located across the street from platform exit 5-36 of Munich Central Station, Germany. The location is very easy to find, it is very convenient to go, there are pizzerias around the door, dm, muller supermarket, it is very convenient to buy daily necessities, and the price is cheaper than domestic A lot, great! I like this hotel very much. Although the room is small, it is enough for a night out, the sanitation is clean and the service staff is very nice! Satisfied! Will come to live next time in Germany!

It feels okay, but the room is a bit smaller, because it is a bit close to the train station and the surrounding environment is a bit messy

The hotel is within 10 minutes from the Central Railway Station, the location is ok, the hotel facilities are relatively old, especially the beds and bedding. Although the breakfast is not particularly rich, there should be everything, especially the green apple ravioli every day, favorite!
