Hotels Near Van Kahvalti Sofrasi In Istanbul
0.04km from downtownBreakfast is very rich, various dairy products, ravioli, desserts, suitable for women and children. And the hotel is located in the bustling area of the city center, making it easy to travel.

0.09km from downtownFirts, the hotel is renovated, I was very frightened when read all the reviews here, and when I saw it at place-it was quite good looking. Very good indeed. Clean hotel, friendly staff-speaking English,Russian and Turkish,of course, easy to understand in different languages. The best is location- in a trading area,Laleli neigbourhood. 10 minutes away from Kapala Charsi.A lot of shops in the area and places to eat. Very closed to tram station. Basic hotel, very good breakfast -variety of cheeses, salami, vegetables, jam, honey, fresh turkish bread, butter, etc. Coffee, tea and juice also, but you get a turkish coffee and great tea in Istanbul dining places. Ask at reception where the room is, with what view, as some of the rooms have windows looking at a some kind of internal vent sleeve with vents and A/C bodies. Glasses are in the fridge. Clean towels in the bath, which is very small. The hotel is quite good for tourists spending their time around Istanbul and to be out all the day, not to stay at hotel.
0.09km from downtownLocation isgood Room is clean only for the price I pay it's fair where my room is not in street view .
0.09km from downtownIt was quite early, but the room was small, the facilities were a bit old, and the sanitation was acceptable.
0.11km from downtownThis hotel is located in Istanbul. It has a metro/tram station nearby. So let me talk about the room. We had 2 rooms No 407 and 503. The rooms were very clean, everything was okay but there’s a min point, the air conditioner wasn’t working well it was very slow and not as cold as told but other than that everything was perfect. The people were friendly, nice receptionists I completely understood their English. The bad thing is, the WiFi wasn’t working as supposed, however it did work in the rooms. Now the breakfast talk I did like the food and stuff like that but however I stayed at the hotel for 1 week and I had to eat the same breakfast though that isn’t a bad thing but the fries weren’t fresh enough it looked like they were used the day before. Something had happened the other day. I went out to the beach and once I got back it was around 12 am the rooms weren’t cleaned. The bed sheets weren’t changed and when we talked to the manager we had to talk to the cleaning ladies as well and they weren’t friendly. They kept staring and whispering something in Turkey about us perhaps, making weird faces. The ladies on the fifth floor aren’t very friendly but the ones on forth floor excused themselves and cleaned everything. I’d give this on a scale of 1 to 10, a big 7,5 good job
0.12km from downtownFirstly I would like to thank Hakan, Mehmet, Erhan, Sevcan, Kadr, Aleyna, Akusta, Kadim, Semsiye, Suzan and Suna who made my stay very comfortable. With the jokes that Hakan come out with you cant help but laugh! Erhan set air con so it does not change through the night which made it comfortable to sleep. Mehmet always helped be it coffee or food he was always on hand. I thank the three ladies that kept my room clean and tidy everyday. The new Management has made few noticeable changes and I can see this will bring the Hotel on par with some of the top brand names. The new chef is doing an excellent job and there is more variety at breakfast and this hotel has a bread toasting facility!!! I highly recommend this hotel even if you have had a bad experience in the past it certainly has improved. Tram station two mins down the road, coffee shop just around the corner and a lot of good shopping all walking distance. Hotel is situated in the perfect spot only 5 mins walk to Grand Bazaar etc. Regards Mr Patel Room 106

0.16km from downtownI spent my week in Istanbul here. The rooms are pretty much just like in the photos, are a decent size, clean, and comfortable. The Wi-fi works great, and the air conditioning was very helpful. Unfortunately, one night the a/c did go on the fritz, but it was fixed quickly. As such, I can tell you the street is decently quiet and noise insulated, but if you open the windows at night you may get some unwanted noise. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and able to answer most questions in English. I was able to do my laundry through the hotel who sent it out to a local cleaner. It was about 20 euros for a load. Breakfast was buffet-style on the top floor. Although most of the dishes repeated each morning, there was plenty of choice and a few changes were made. I was never disappointed. The location is within a couple minutes of the metro, tram, several good restaurants, and a couple of the city's amazing mosques as well as a few excellent minor sites. It is a good location to go by foot or public transit in any number of directions. T

0.17km from downtownEvery thing was Ok. The staff behaviour was excellent. The room was very clean and when we left our room, it was cleaned ASAP. Its restaurant's view and breakfast meal were great, however, the breakfast was the same for all days. The only thing very hard to bear was no electric kettle for making tea or coffee inside the room. In general, this hotel made great trip story to us. Thank you for every thing.
0.17km from downtownI originally wrote a bad review, since then I have changed the review to one Staff member Emre who deserves a 5 star, this staff member was so polite and helpful. When I got there I was not as happy as expected but he went above and beyond to change my opinion and eventually let me stay. I will say if you are looking for big rooms this is not the hotel, singles are the size of a cruise ship. I will also say the manager did help out by changing our room and she was nice to work with. Breakfast was good and the roof top pool is a nice way to unwind. Location is great, the part it is in is lively and is a short walk or tran ride to all the hot touristic spots like Grand Bizar, Aya Sofia, Blue Mosque and the water. Like I mentioned service for Emre is a five and I would also give the manager a 5. But a couple staff members brought that down based on lacking customer service. Overall If you are looking for a cheaper hotel in a good location this might be your spot.
Hotels Near Van Kahvalti Sofrasi In Istanbul Review
My boutique Hotel - what can I say a little gem of a hotel. If you want to live amongst the locals experience local life eat at very reasonably priced restaurants. Be 10 min walk from the sulimaniya mosque. 15 min walk from Emenio tram and 15min from spice bazaar then this is the place. Not only for these reasons you should book but also book for the following. The rooms are immaculate clean tidy and beautiful they all have a mini fridge. Bathrooms are immaculate with a shower and complimentary shampoo shower soap and hand soap. A hair dryer is also provided. Wi Fi in all rooms and super fast connection .The Manger Jon could not do enough for us and the rest of the team equally helpful nothing was ever too much from booking us a taxi to finding us an iron to use. Our travel agent had booked us a twin room by mistake. When we reached the hotel we asked if a double was available unfortunately there was not but where told after 3 days a family room would become available and for a very small fee we could have this one and we did. The roof Terrance has a beautiful view of the sulimaniya mosque. Over all a pleasant stay do not get put off by the street this is not the centre of a tourist place but home for locals who are very friendly I as a woman went out and about on my own and did not feel threatened or harassed. I think a few little tweaks would make this place even better. 1. Tea and coffee making facility in the room we brits like our morning cup of tea. 2. The family room we stayed in was on the ground floor for decor purposes they had a glass wall ( don’t worry you can not see in or out) however in the night when the light is on of the lobby this gave continues light into the room. A curtain would be perfect to draw at night . 3. The terrace I would of used a little more than I did if it was a little more welcoming plants some traditional Turkish sofas with cushions. 4. May be a few English speaking channels on the TV However the above are only suggestions and do not take away from the fact how beautiful this hotel was and the hospitality was superb. We are definitely looking to book again this year with our children

We stayed in Laila last week. We stayed in the top floor. The room was nice, clean, just the sheeting was not really comfortable as it kept slipping from the bed. Also the water in our toilet kept running nonstop, so it was wasting a lot of water and also it was noisy. The elevator was not working but thst can happen at any hotel :) There are many shops and restaurant around the area and literally its about 10 mins walk to the Grand Bazar and Blue mosque also... we even used the shuttle to the airport which is 10euros and was really happy.
I picked this hotel as it had great links to the heart of Istanbul and it did not disappoint! Just 5 minutes walk away from a main metro station as well as great bus links (if you feel adventurous!) I stayed with my young family and the hotel provided interconnecting rooms of a double and twin room. I would recommend to all!
pretty, clean and too have restaurants, but no cold time to get rm605,,,o5 number,,,because my room is very hot no must air ,,, outside is very cold but the room look like cooking, make me so wake up so much time to get cold water shaver, window is inter window,,just equal to no window, and hotel use central air ,, condition, cold time never open, if have just hot air, I suggest the hotel need set a independent small condition for this no window room it is better,,,我用中文說一次，酒店美， 裝修也美， 天台可看到海，但冷天就不好住，特別無窗的605，或什麼5號房，因內空氣不流通，是內窗，內窗根本放樣用，無新鮮空氣，他用中央冷氣系統，冷天不開，就算開都熱氣，如你開就是熟食再熱火，外面好冷我內就是熱到睡不到，要冲冷水涼，這樣房應該加獨立細冷氣機，

It's hard to find it for the first time. It is recommended to take a taxi, especially at night. The terrain of Turkey is not accurate for navigation on uphill and downhill maps. It is difficult for you to find. Leave your luggage and walk around, and then walk by yourself when you are familiar with it.
Nice people at the front desk. Breakfast is okay, the price is 3 euros, pay when you check out. I stayed for two nights. Every day someone cleaned it. The heating was very good. The clothes I washed at night were covered with radiators and they were dried the next day.
Although I live on the basement floor, there are windows, so the air is not bad.
The price is cheap. When it was set, it was 100 or 108. Later, it was already 200. Hahaha, the price depends on luck. In short, it is recommended! Very close to the blue mosque
This hotel was HORRIBLE. To start off, the washroom sink kept overflowing and flooding the washroom, the shower was so tiny we didn't even understand how we could possibly shower in there. The room was so tiny, the area was not that great either, it was a dead area. However we didn't let all of these things get to us, and enjoyed our trip regardless. What made me mad is that I left my headphones in my room, underneath my pillow. When I came back at night, I couldn't find them. I emailed the hotel and said "I cannot find my headphones can you please ask the cleaning lady.. they were expensive". I said to ask the cleaning lady because I was afraid that when the cleaning lady changed my sheets, maybe my headphones got taken away with them OR maybe she placed them somewhere else. Shortly after she came upstairs and started screaming (in a different language, no idea what she said), and the hotel manager called and said "I accused her of stealing". First of all, no I did not. If he contacted her and asked her if she had stole the headphones, that's on him. I never used the word "steal" once. So, if you're asking your staff if they stole, maybe that's questionable on your part and your staffs credibility...why did your head go towards "stealing" the minute I asked where my headphones were? I later found the headphones placed on the table - which by the way, if you are cleaning someones room, you should put their belongings where you originally found them. What was mind boggling in this whole situation is when I rated the hotel, I gave them a 3.3 rating, which is generous on my behalf considering the washroom was leaking, it was tiny to the point we couldn't use the shower, the hotel staff didn't know a word of English which made it hard to communicate, the headphones situation pissed me off...but what was mind boggling was, the owner of the hotel texted my father and started cursing at him for giving a 3.3 rating. 3.3 is pretty generous considering the service we received, ALSO if you are unhappy with the customers rating, you learn and improve from it, you don't contact them and start cursing and yelling at them. NO ONE BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!
We loved staying here, the room is cosy and there is a nice balcony to look out. Reception and porters are really friendly and helpful. One things is there are three Beethoven hotels in the same area so it gets a little confusing but they are not too far from each other. Breakfast was great with a lovely selection of fresh food. Try the trilece cake, was so yummy! Rooms were lovely with fridge and complimentary water bottles. There was also a safe. The bathroom was nice and clean with also good toiletries. The cleaner was pretty thorough and i mean thorough, putting cables in drawers, moving our suitcases and hanging our coats up to clean! I am glad she cleaned properly but not sure how i feel about people touching my things. One thing which i was really not hppty about was the spa lady. She was extremely rude when we went to use the pool. We asked for towels and she said we have to use room ones when there were clearly some there so had to go back up to room to get them. I then asked about the jet into the pool and she said its off so i asked why and she just shrugged her shoulders. She was really not helpful, considering she was just sitting there on her phone the whole time and is the reason why i am giving 4/5, what is the point of having such a useless staff member? We chose this hotel for the pool and spa so this was disappointing for us. Otherwise we loved everything else and the spa lady was not a reflection of any of the other staff who were all lovely. The location of the hotel was great and the tram stop was not too far walk, about 4/5 mins. I believe it also possible to walk to main attractions in half an hour. I would visit again but if the spa lady acted the same I would complain this time.
High cost performance, very good
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
The hotel is a couple of streets away from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, which makes it a very central place for you to enjoy the touristic attractions. Besides, it is located in a calm street so you don't get that busy traffic in front of the hotel. The owners are a lovely couple who makes you feel at home. Zeynep Hanım's special side dishes (Turkish meze) flavour up the breakfast which is already very rich. Derviş Bey's calm and trustworthy smile is also another reason to feel the warm hospitality. All the staff members in the hotel have that big smile upon their faces. You can feel the family atmosphere in every detail. The room was clean. My bed was really really comfortable and the terrace had a panoramic view of the Bosphorus that I won't ever forget. The concept of the hotel is also dreamy, embedded with names of different literary figures. I can assure that you will be going on a journey that you will always look back to.
A lovely apartment a short walk from the Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. There is a small kitchenette in the apartment so you can prepare your own meals but there are also plenty of good options to eat nearby too. The rooms were cleaned daily and the owner (Sedat) was friendly, easy to contact and very helpful to try and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Sedat was also able to arrange hotel transfers for us to and from the airport. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again if we visit Istanbul again. Recommended!
We found the hotel to be neat and tidy. The staff are great. Nearly got stuck in Turkey because of Coronavirus lockdown worldwide but the staff was fantastic with dealings with Turkish Airline when flights was cancelled unannounced. They were able to get them to re book our flight because of language barrier. No Kettle in d rooms permanently yet we have two for my family used. I don’t know why, but the WiFi keeps going on and off. The breakfast is consistently same thing during our one week stay and it becomes monotonous. Would have loved sausages and baked beans if possible. Hotel is right inside all the markets. I will surely lodge here again and I strongly recommend.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Hotel location is good. excellent service. Also very clean. The bathtub on the photo is actually not available, and it can be seen that it was taken off.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
I recently stayed in Olimpic Hotel with my mom and aunt. It is located in Sultanahmet- right at the heart of the greatest sites. Five minutes of walking will take you to the famous historic mosques and other must-see tourist destinations. The hotel is also located close to the trolley and the streets are full of taxis which you can catch on your own or have the hotel arrange. The breakfast is great. The personnel are warm and kind, eager to help whenever they can. I felt safe and while the hotel is not luxurious, it is welcoming, clean, and is of adequate renovation. It has a terrace with a beautiful view capturing the Bosporus and mosques. The friendly and warm environment make me eager to return to this hotel anytime I’m in Istanbul.
The surroundings are great and the feeling is in the upscale affluent area. A lot of good restaurants, eating and shopping are very convenient. It is also close to the subway, and the hotel is just 50 meters away from the entrance to the underground passage of the subway. Hotel facilities are well maintained, breakfast is especially worthy of delicious and rich! Overall, this hotel is good value for money, but it does not reach the 5-star level, although the door is hung with a five-star sign. By the way, the only minor shortcoming is that the front desk and the waiter are average, not enthusiastic, and feel a bit cold.
Is the second time that i stayed at this hotel, and really enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful. They have a good position too, about 15 minutes walk to go to the center of the city.
Hotel service must give super 5 stars, great location, just next to T1 station, walk to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque 7-8 minutes! The new airport is on the bus line 17 to the sulnahmet station. It is a mosque. It takes a few steps to get to the hotel! We arrived at the hotel at 8:00 in the morning and actually gave us a room. We could also eat the breakfast of the day. After the afternoon, we had afternoon tea and it was great!
This area is already a partial, but in order to travel, but the hotel is of high grade, the price is super reasonable, the breakfast is also very rich, the facilities are also high-end, and the hotel is very environmentally friendly.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
The location is very good, it is very convenient to various attractions, can be walked, suitable for couples and families.
And the hotel is very clean, and the owner is warm and friendly, every day he asks if we need help. Every employee inside is very kind
Seagulls can be seen flying over from the breakfast balcony; stay, children love it
The boss gave us welcome drinks and small desserts.
Next time if I come to Istanbul again, I will still choose here
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
Excellent location near the ''Sokullu Sehit Mehmet Pasa mosque'', a historical place from 1571. Two minutes walk to the Hippodrome (the historical racetrack), 5-minute walk to the Hagia Sophia Museum (the former Greek Orthodox Christian patriarchal cathedral, later the Ottoman imperial mosque) and the tram (which connects you with the port for the cruises on the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn), 10 minutes to Topkapı Palace Museum. Everything it's around. Great hotel in Sultanahmet district. I stayed in February 2020 in this hotel. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Excellent breakfast each morning, rooms were cleaned daily. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. They also have two terraces, one on the ground floor for breakfast and the other on the roof, so the smokers do not suffer. Thanks to everyone and in particular to Deniz for all the information and the help offered with the warmth.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
The view of the hotel terrace is invincible. The photo is taken on the terrace. The service is very good. The first morning, I received a free breakfast. There are many kinds of breakfast. The room is slightly small and very soundproof. I want to be careful. Overall very good, recommended.
On the last day, booked near the airport, the boss is very good, you can check in early, the surrounding meals are not bad.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at Cigno Hotel in Istanbul. We planned to stay one night, but end up staying two. The hotel is just a 15 min walk away from all the main sightseeing places. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and clean. We really recommend this place for a stay in Istanbul, especially for this great price! :)
It was my father in law’s first holiday in Istanbul . I recommended this hotel for him and for my wife. This hotel is located near by the Grand Bazar, the Blue Mosque, Ayasofya Mosque and boat tour. The room was lovely and clean, the only negative being that the storage space was too small for a double room. The breakfast was amazing , such a lovely choice and the staff were always there to help with everything. The Restaurant Manager Tolga and staff always greeted us very warmly every morning. The Reception Team were always helpful (Talat and Nuriye ) and the Night Manager (Mr Nevzat,) was very professional and helpful. I will recommend this hotel for everyone if you want to see istanbul..
Centrally located near Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, etc very close to a subway and tram stop that can get you anywhere you want to go. Simple, clean room with good firm bed. We enjoyed the Turkish bath, sauna, and hot tub (they are included) and massage (extra reasonable fee) in the spa area. There is also a restaurant on the top floor with nice views.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
A really nice boutique hotel situated within easy walking distance of the cultural sites of Istanbul. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fresh and tasty! Yes, a lot of what I have said above is the same for many hotels, but do they all have warm and friendly staff? If you stay at this hotel then you really do get the complete package. Hotel manager Isa bent over backwards to help me in my requests, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, if you have marked it as a possibility then I urge you to do it!
Perfect hotel to stay in... Strongly recommended to stay in. Near to metro and bus station. Friendly staff.. Very good looking rooms Perfect services Near the IDO station where u can go to bursa and other areas.
I stayed here for 2 nights (24-25th Sep) with my wife and had a fantastic experience. The guys at reception (Muhammad & Ahmed) were professional and super courteous, the room was small but tidy and the location was ideal for exploring the central Istanbul and the historic sites that are just a few hundred KMs away from the hotel. The tram stop was just around the corner as well which could take you to almost all major parts of the city. I see people pointing out the small rooms but you got to factor in the location which is literally 7 mins walk to the most sought after tourist attractions of Istanbul (Haghia Sophia and Blue Mosque). I can bet majority of the hotels have similar sized rooms since the property value must be sky high for such a locality. And I bet most of these hotels charge more than what Sirkeci Ersu does for rooms with the same specs. One thing that I'd like these guys to work on would be their breakfast. Lmited and same menu - can get really irksome for someone staying for multiple days. Having said that, it's not a deal breaker for me and I'd definitely stay here again if and when I happen to be in Central Istanbul.
We chose Grand Seigneur Hotel because my friends I was travelling with already stayed here in January 2019. Excellent location in the historical center of Istanbul makes it possible to feel the city better and watch its life. And thanks to friendly, hospitable, helpful staff (Yusuf, Rami, Savaja, Laila, Ermina) we felt not just visitors but the dearest guests. All our questions - from recommendations on gift purchases to the best ways to the sights - reseived detailed answers. Every evening when we came back and sat down on the couches at the entrance we got glasses of hot tea with delicate kurabies and all our tiredness was gone immediately. If/when we come to Istanbul again we will definitely stay in this hotel.
The breakfast is good, the hotel is relatively old and there is no hot water pot. In the city center, the subway is very convenient.
Sultan Ahmed Mosque
The breakfast at the hotel was quite good and I had a lot of cherries. The hotel is located very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a few minutes walk. It’s not good to live underground, but there is a cat in the middle of the night. The pillow is a bit dirty and the rest is okay. The hotel brother is very good, like it.
