The location is close to the hwy so it's great when you want to go out. Fee amenities are close by like gas station, bank well at least the one I bank with and a fast food restaurant. The reception was nice but there is one thing he did that put me off; he sneezed and blower his nose but didn't sanitized after before touching my IDs. This is why I took a one star off. Also the place was neat just few black spots in the bath tub. My stay was relatively short. It was a one night and I got to the hotel past 12 midnight, then out by 10:15am. Overall, it's a great hotel and I wouldn't mind staying there again.

After a weekend of H*LL with 2 little kids, missed flights, terrible experiences with the airline customer service, lack of sleep and lack of recourses, THIS BRANCH and their ENTIRE STAFF, came through for us 3 nights in a row. They helped us when we were desperate for solutions and they guided us when we needed items for the babies. They answered every question with a smile. The truth is, I never want to see Montreal again, but if I absolutely have to, there’s no question that this is the only place I’m going to spend my time and money. Thank you to the staff if you read this… you know who we are the family with the kids and the wagon 😅🤩💙

Our family stayed for 3 nights at the end of December. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with kitchenette. There is no oven in the room but there is a fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave, stove top, coffee maker). The midtown location was great! Parking was a breeze, there is a black garage door for the underground parking. Although the parking signage needs to say: “Homewood Suites” it just says “parking de l'hôtel $15” which as first-time guests we weren’t sure if it was our hotel or not. Nearby shops are all walkable. We highly recommend walking over to the Supermarche, its directly across the street to make your own charcuterie (large selection of fresh baguettes, cheese and meats - awesome prices too). There is also a Starbucks directly across the street which we loved! Travellers tip - pack ziploc baggies to store your extra food in. The bathroom was very large and bright, it’s only accessible through the bedroom. We would have preferred to have bathroom access through the living room as to not disturb our sleeping child at night. The swimming pool was quite small for a family hotel (10 person capacity) and the water temperature could have been warmer. We really wished there was a hot tub to relax in at night and warm up after the pool. The included breakfast buffet was very convenient for our family. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Well considering this has only been open 7months I am surprised at the poor workmanship. The door to our room let in a beacon of light, it was so poorly fitted. The carpet was lifting, the toilet roll holder was installed wrongly so the toilet roll falls off. A panel above the bed was not painted, the desk under the tv was bubbling and lifting. The service was poor, the breakfast included in our package was kosher, it was not a great selection, cold boiled eggs, cold poached egg, dairy free yoghurt. Cereal was a good selection but no bowls to eat it out of, there was metal knives and spoons but no forks. Our second day we went down and it was closed with no notification thankfully the the hotel accommodated us into the bistro, which is amazing food and questionable service depending on who is on. On our final day a Saturday, it was open, but no electricity as it’s a day of rest. So no toast no coffee, wow again thankfully the reception supervisor accommodated us over the road at the Marriott residence inn. Only one lift worked the whole time we were there. And outside the lift the luggage trolleys sat blocking the route for 2 full days. Housekeeping …. It didn’t come around one day until 5pm and then when we said can you come back in 10minutes as we are going out then. We had already gotten towels brought up from the reception. The housekeeper stood in our door with her foot holding the door open with her arms crossed. Needless to say we grabbed our stuff and left imminently as we felt pressured. On our final day they didn’t come at all. We got back at 1600 and they hadn’t been so granted we put out do not disturb sign out. It’s not all bad… the rooms are very spacious, the shower is huge with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash that’s attached to the wall. The curtains are so thick and completely blockout. The TV displayed a welcome note, and we had a single bottle of water and nature valley bar. One between 2 of us…. The rooms are very tech savvy. With electric panels as you walk in and on one side of the bed. The hotel is really close to the Napur metro station, only 6 minute walking, and very cheap, plus fast to get to anywhere. We were staying in zone A throughout our stay, so bought a 3 day pass for $21.25 which was ideal. Also this was our honeymoon and we had made them aware, they didn’t do anything, we weren’t asking for much, but a drinks voucher or a bottle of something would have made all the difference. We married in a UK Marriott and all they did was love heart petals and a bottle of Prosecco, a small gesture makes all the difference.

Last week my husband, son and I spent 4 nights at the Residence Inn Montreal Midtown. The hotel is fairly new, clean and modern. The lobby and breakfast area are light and airy with plenty of space; we never had to wait for a breakfast table. We had a King room with sofa bed. The room was very spacious, well laid out and very clean. Everything was in good repair. The bathroom was roomy; the shower had great water pressure and no water splashed out which is unusual for my husband. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed for my son. The kitchenette was well equipped with large refrigerator, cook top and dishwasher. The staff was great. I want to especially recognize the engineering and housekeeping staff. Whenever we called reception for something a staff member came to our room within 10 minutes to bring extra tissues or to stop the dishwasher from beeping and they were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was the best we have had at a hotel since the pandemic. This was a true hot breakfast with several items to choose from each day including eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes and a vegetarian item. Along with belgian waffles, many pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt and beverages. Everything was constantly replenished and hot. The staff kept everything clean and neat too. Parking in the underground garage was easy with direct access to hotel elevators. The neighborhood was nice but is not downtown which is what we needed with close access to highways. There is a metro station about a 10 min walk away which we took to downtown one day. There is a small pool and a nice gym as well. If you don't need to stay in downtown Montreal I highly recommend this hotel.

Booked this hotel at the very last minute for a trip de Montréal. Very underwhelmed and disappointed. First room had issues so we were reassigned to a different room. Both rooms were in an area which smelled strongly of humidity and Lord knows what else. The smell fades away while in the room but unfortunately stays with you if your stay is long enough. Rooms are very old fashioned and worn out. They could clearly use some renovations. Parking is very limited especially on the weekends. Consider this if you are driving otherwise it will become a last minute headache. Proximity to metro is nice. Breakfast is average. WiFi is average. Area is somewhat near many ethnic restaurants as well as some fast food restaurants.

The location is in the central area, but it's backed by mountains and it's quiet. Suitable for non-upstart vacationers, you can climb nearby. The natural scenery of Tianhe Mountain is out of the window. I stayed for five nights and climbed twice. There are many restaurants near the hotel, about 15 minutes walking distance from Chinatown. Hotel service is good, French-speaking Montrealers are generally polite (speakers who speak Chinese loudly on the street will of course be blind-eyed), everything in the hotel is free and the staff is polite, I like this holiday environment . The hotel arranged a nice room for me, thank you very much!

We flew into Montreal and stayed one night at the Fairfield. We were picked up at the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus and within minutes we were at the hotel. Check in was very quick and the staff members were very efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and had the comforts of home. After putting our luggage in the room we went to the bar for a drink and were taken back by the price of a bottle of beer $10.00 The morning continental breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s very close to the Dorval Via Train Station.

This hotel in Old Montreal has a wonderful location, so close to great restaurants like the new Moishe’s Steak House, and Holder. It is small, clean and comfortable with lots of large windows. The reception and breakfast area is large and light. The Loft rooms are very comfortable and spacious with Molton Brown amenities and a Nespresso machine. The large windows open and have pretty flower boxes. The layout of an ‘open concept’ bathroom and closets might not appeal to all, but we liked the quirkiness. The decor could stand some updating. For example, the two occasional chairs in our room were quite worn and the hallway carpet stained. Our housekeeper was excellent. Reception staff were generally accommodating. The food at breakfast was excellent but the service could stand improvement. One morning it took 30 minutes to get a cappuccino. In fairness, another morning’s room service breakfast arrived promptly. But another morning we seemed to be forgotten. This may be a post-Covid staffing problem however. At check out, a detailed statement of daily charges and credit certificates was lacking. When we arrived, we asked for additional pillows but none were available initially. We got one the second night after the other woman who had it checked out! We would probably stay here again if these small but irritating issues were fixed.

Maité & Simon were perfect hosts! They were always available for any and all of my questions and took care of our little family so well. From everything to an early check-in/late check-out so our babies could nap, to providing us with a highchair and playpen, it was so perfect! We had come specifically to Montreal to take our daughter to the Biodome and this location was just minutes walk away. Once in the room, they had a binder full of helpful recommendations and tips (the Oeuferie for breakfast was fabulous). We were even able to secure free on street parking but do watch out as Montreal street signage is tricky!

Disappointing. The hotel amenities state that there is a 24 hour free airport shuttle bus, it does not run 24 hours. We had to pay for a taxi back to the airport. There was a cold water dispenser with lemons in the lobby but it was empty. A coffee machine was provided in the room, however, of the 3 coffee pods one was used and only thin plastic cold beverage cups were provided. The room was big, shows signs of wear but the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel is a typical airport hotel, not much going on.

Arrived in the afternoon, the front desk arranged a room facing the yard, it was a bit dark, and there was a smell of eating in the room, which was not ideal. Then I immediately went to the front desk downstairs to change to another room facing the street, on the 20th floor. Because it is next to the main street of Montreal and close to China Town, the sound is very noisy at night, and the glass is useless and not soundproof. I had to catch a flight the next day, so I didn't sleep much. Each has its pros and cons. The sanitary conditions are good, the facilities feel a bit outdated, but the room is big enough, the service attitude of the front desk staff is very good, and the proximity to China Town satisfies my homesick Chinese stomach. The overall experience is 3.8 points. It's a fair score.

Found hotel through searches on TripAdvisor and Google Maps. Took a chance booking our 4 night Montreal getaway from NYC on a newly opened hotel. The reviews were great, as was the hotel location. And I vibed with the hotel decor from the photos I saw during my research. So we went for it. And we were happy with our stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel’s friendly and courteous front desk staff. They were so helpful throughout our stay. Our king bed suite with city view was fantastic. Really cool room layout and decor. Bed was super comfortable. Nice touch with the bench at the foot of the bed. And the floor length curtains by the windows and separating the bedroom from bathroom were room darkening and so easy to open and close. We most loved how the tv swiveled around from living room to bedroom allowing us to watch tv in different room settings. Very cool concept. Shower was fun and funky enclosed in a pink ombré cube and visible within the room We enjoyed use of the gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna on 15th floor. The views were spectacular. Areas to improve….but to me, not worth a deduction: - Poor lighting in living room and bedroom. No option to independently turn on/off bedside lamps or lighting in the foyer. It was all or nothing. And although there was a full length mirror in the foyer, the lighting wasn’t great. - Bathroom mirror was fantastic but the lighting was horrible. - Sofa hard. Could have been less “IKEA” and more plush and cozy. A blanket would have been nice touch too for snuggling. - When the door of the room safe located on the top shelf inside the closet was open, it kept banging into and scraping the inside closet door.

I told the front desk that it was sent. I don’t know if it was this reason. After leaving, I was deducted 86 Canadian dollars. I didn’t refund for a long time. After that, I asked Trip.com customer service to ask, saying that I deducted it by mistake. It took more than a week to return. By the way, praise Trip.com's service, warm and efficient, praise!

honestly, this was a last minute panic hotel but it ended up working out to be a really good experience. My partner and I were supposed to fly to montreal from alberta for a doctors consultation and the day before we were supposed to leave, our other, pre paid hotel cancelled because they weren't open due to covid. They definitely had 10+ days to inform us before but oh well it ended up working out. We found this hotel for about 50 bucks a night with a $60 deposit. so we showed up, and immediately the owner(?) Showed us our room, but also allowed us to go check out another room on the third floor that also had a shower and more room for an extra 10 dollars. Honestly I jumped on that deal because even though I was almost broke, 10 dollars for our own private shower was a life saver. This hotel does have communal bathrooms and showers on each floor and as much as I dont care about that stuff, its sill nice to have access to that whenever. It also just so happened the day we land it was during a 40 degrees heat wave with no ac. So I lived in a cold shower for the majority of our time at the hotel. The owner also offered us use of the fridge and gave us some free water because it was hot as heck, even offering us an extra fan on top if the ceiling fan. There weren't any soaps or towels just a heads up, but we brought our own toiletries and went to the dollar store down the road to grab a beach towel even though i took advantage of being damp in the intense heat more often than not. This is a very old place, and its not necessarily the cleanest you've ever seen, but its neat, its homey, and its a really unique experience worth every dollar. Not to mention free wifi and a solid 3 channels on the TV haha. A bonus on top of the actual hotel is it is really close to the village which is a lovely inclusive lgbtq+ space with entertainment and shops and restaurants all around. Its also within walking distance to China town and the metro systems, plus some really lovely outdoor parks and buildings. Its also in a fairly busy area so if you don't like noise in a busy city it might be difficult but its something I don't mind and I think I actually like. I don't speak much french so it was entertaining sometimes to hear people drunkenly speak loudly in French and laughing all night. There are of course your fair share of people who struggle with homelessness and a couple of lovely sex workers but its part of the downtown monteal experience. And in comparison, the people addicted to substances and the sex workers from where im from are a solid 3/10 compared to montreals 8/10 with kindness and respect for other people lol So in ”short”, its a great experience. Its an old building that sadly has some cool sh*t painted over but it is what it is. Its also close to a bunch of cool locations and easy to access with public transportation. First, Hilton-branded hotels are my chain of choice and I am also a Diamond Member and have been for years. We chose the Hampton Inn Downtown Montreal due to its location; close to Old Montreal, Chinatown, the shopping district, and restaurants. At check-in the customary ”thank you for being an Honors Member” was not mentioned though not a big deal! As a Diamond Member I asked about the comp upgrade if available. I was told by the agent at the front desk that there were no upgrades available and that I was in a room with a ”couch”! Not sure what the 1 ½ person couch would do but whatever. We arrived at our room, our small room. We were on a 7-day trip to cold climates with outdoor events therefore we had a lot of baggage - nowhere to put it all in the room. From the room, I dialed ”0” and asked if we could please be assigned another room. The person on the phone said ”yes, of course, we will put you in a suite!”. We arrived to a large suite with great amenities - full kitchen and appliances, corner room, lots of room, etc. The downside, the floors were a mess - I mentioned it but never heard back. We used a damp towel and cleaned the entire room ourselves. Oh, the towel, it wasn't healthy looking after that. The runner carpets at the bed were no better. I door parking was great BUT it's where all the ********* smokers gather though there's no indoor smoking in any of the building. BTW - note that ********* is TOTALLY legal in Canada so that was not the issue - smoking inside was the issue. So, great location, nice property, attention to detail and Hilton Honors members is very lacking and a front desk agent who got caught in a little lie!

The room is very good and the service is good. Park your car and go in at the passage of the small street and wait for the rolling shutter door to open. There is a heated swimming pool on the 14th floor of the hotel. The scenery is very good. You can see the scenery of the old port. It only takes a few minutes to go to the pedestrian street.

The environment is OK, in the city center, 18 kilometers from the airport and more than 1 kilometers from the railway station When I got there, I just caught up with the elevator and broke down The service is very good. When it rains, there will be a waiter with an umbrella standing at the door to take you into the car The breakfast variety is a bit small, but the bread is very fresh and delicious. The girl who served smiled very sweetly. After I ordered hot milk on the first day, when I got there the next day, the girl asked immediately and needed hot milk. Well, the sense of distance is gone all at once, it feels good The door of the room is a bit thin and not soundproof. Fortunately, foreigners can pass by in the corridor quietly during sleeping hours. Friendly staff and location...close to old montreal and metro. High floor so nice view of chinatown. Only drawback, also near redlight district and homeless shelter. Not a hotel issue but be aware, little seedy at night. We also liked our room. When we entered room, impressed with modern look but as the days went by, noted hinges off closet door, lack of good task lighting and sluggish drain in bathroom. Not big issue but property needs a little TLC. FYI - told by front desk that hotel recently reopened lounge for breakfast. I booked months ago when no breakfast option was available. When asked about breakfast, was denied and told could not eat at hotel since breakfast option was not included when i booked reservation. So asked how much for breakfast option and was told can't eat at hotel. Was surprised at response, especially since customer service and experience is key in hospitality business. So ate (and spent my money) elsewhere.

This is only the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Originally we weren't supposed to stay here but Holiday Inn called and told us that during our 5 day stay they wont have hot water so because of that I had to cancel my reservation with them and decided to stay at Courtyard. I could count many things that make Marriot hotels better than Holiday Inn. First Marriot beds are I think the best amongst hotels we stayed in. Second this hotel is very new and is located in a quiet location and lastly as Marriot Gold members we get to have free wifi. All the desktop computers in the lobby are not functioning. I think they should not display them at all if it cant be used. This hotel has one of the most spacious lobbies in this part of Montreal.

This Hotel turned out to be the best hotel experience we have had! The decor of the hotel is just amazing, the most beautiful woodwork I have ever seen, with other areas being beautifully modern! From the minute we walked in we were taken care of! Our car, our bags and check in were so easy, front desk was excellent! The room was immaculate, very comfortable and a beautiful high end bathroom! The gym is all new equipment and perfect for a workout! Bar George is a great lively bar! We had brunch and lunch in the Bar during our stay and it was delicious! We also ate at the Restaurant and it was an amazing dining experience! They just don't make French food like this anymore!! HUGE compliments to the kitchen!! There was not one staff member that wasn't helpful and so pleasant!! My husband and I agreed that we would go back to Montreal just to stay in this hotel and to dine here again!!
