Budapest
|3.25km from city centerA solid performance from a good 'all round' experience. The hotel hasa great location overlooking the Danube. Well placed for nice walks, boat trips and restaurants alike. The hotel serves a thoroughly decent buffet breakfast in pleasant surroundings. The lobby and bar areas are very slick, contemporary styled and show a high degree of imagination. There is a physio /medical facility too. Seems to be very popular - offering a range of treatments. The spa pools are decent and the gym well equipped and a nice atmosphere. Great hotel, excellent stay and would welcome the opportunity to stay there again.

Budapest
|1.47km from city centerPerfect location in the heart of Budapest with a lot of restaurants in the surrounding areas and easy walking access to the main city attractions. There's the subway nearby but you barely need it. Very calm during the night time. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable and very clean room. Breakfast with a good variety: scrambled eggs, bacon, fried eggs, beans, cheese, ham, bread, croissants, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, milk, coffee, cereals, juice... I definitely recommend this place for a pleasant stay in Budapest.

Muy comodo y bien decorado. Hay otros apartamentos mas pequeños pero el concepto es el mismo. El dueño muy amable. Ideal para una estancia en Budapest.

Budapest
|2.28km from city centerThe hotel is what we would expect from the Courtyard brand. Everything was in working order and clean. The rooms are comfortably sized. The hotel is located near several transit lines. Budapest seems to be gentrifying and the hotel is on the edge of that area. It is very close to the so-called Jewish Quarter, but it is a transit ride away from most other sights. The restaurant in the hotel is ok. But, the breakfast seemed a bit pricey so we went to a coffee shop next door called ”Fresh Corner Cafe”.

|1.72km from city centerHotel is located 1-2 minutes from the market hall, and right next to the pedestrian zone, and maybe 1-2 minutes to the river abd bridge. So the location is very good. An airport shuttle bus station is about 10 minutes walking distance, very convenient.
The hotel was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and big enough for a single traveler. The breakfast buffet was decent and everything looked and tasted fresh and good.
In total, I really enjoyed my stay there and would come back anytime.

|8.17km from city centerThe hotel is a little far from the city, but the parking lot downstairs is also very convenient. The street is a bit noisy but the soundproof glass is really great. There is a supermarket downstairs? Breakfast can be selected, the front desk can speak English, the room facilities are complete. Don't consider the city is a good choice!

Budapest
|1.03km from city centerThe location is perfect, right and one of the shopping streets where you can walk to a lot of the attractions. The hotel has 2 exits where one is open 24/7 where the reception is and where you can be dropped off by taxi. The other is on the shopping street, closing at 22.00 because it is also where the hotel restaurant Winestone is located. The restaurant has a good variety of food and very friendly and diligent staff which goes for the whole hotel. The breakfast is not served in the restaurant, but on the 2. floor. It has eggs, bacon, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yoghurt, small pancakes, fruit, a little bit of vegetables. Could have liked the hot food to be hot, it was seldom the case. The room was nice with safety deposit box, coffee/tea, 1 bottle of water each day, mini bar and shampoo + shower gel and hair dryer. The room was cleaned spotless every day! The room becomes a bit hot and it helps to open the window. Right now there is construction going on, so you don't want the window open while they work. In the ground floor there is a fitness room with a good variety of equipment. The front desk staff is very helpful. We used the cleaning service for having some shirts ironed. That worked very well.

Budapest
|1.58km from city centerThis is not a hotel accommodation. It's a rental of individual rooms in an apartment building. On the same floor, there's a small reception desk operating from 8 AM to 8 PM. The reception staff will help you check in, solve basic problems, answer questions, provide a Budapest map, etc... You'll also receive a room key card and numerical codes to open the main doors of the apartment complex and garages. The staff is helpful, pleasant, and speaks English. The rooms are relatively small but clean and modern. We didn't experience any problems with opening doors that were mentioned in another review. Everything in the rooms works: WiFi, kettle, coffee maker, etc... You cannot cook meals in the room as there are no plates or cutlery. The mattresses are quite firm, which suited me very well. The Magazine Rooms is close to the metro and other public transportation. Our windows faced the street. There's a restaurant right below the window - understandably quite noisy during the weekend. However, the windows are well insulated, and when we closed them, we could sleep peacefully. The only problem was parking. Although The Magazine Rooms advertises parking, the number of parking spaces is very limited. Therefore, we had to look for parking outside. We were lucky (actually twice): we found a parking spot right in the next street; and on weekends, you don't need to pay for public parking.

|1.29km from city centerWe stayed for 4 nights recently. Hotel is in a very good location very central and the airport bus stops just around the corner very handy! Reception staff really friendly. Our room (411) was really big and comfortable. The only things I would mention is the bathroom tap was so stiff I could hardly turn it on and the bathroom fan was really noisy. The walls were covered in black marks from suitcases and such a shame because a lick of paint would smarten it up. We enjoyed the lockers to store our bags on check out. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again if I’m ever back in Budapest. Thanks!

|1.39km from city centerNice guesthouse located in central Budapest near the Opera. I arrived early and they let me keep my luggage at reception while the room was being prepared which was a nice gesture. The rooms were quiet when I was there and it was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The minibar had included water bottles for free which even some of the bigger hotels don't provide, so that was appreciated. Cleaning is available upon request as they are not a hotel, but a guesthouse.

Budapest
|2.02km from city centerWe had a reasonably sized 1 bed appt. From other reviews I was worried about noise and bad behaviour of groups of tourists but this is a block of 90 apartments and only 24 are tourist rentals. Others include a number of people with the title ”Dr” so they are not riffraff, if you know what I mean. Our stay so far has been very quiet. Almost no noise from inside the block. It's the centre of a city so there is road noise etc but the windows are triple glazed so keep the noise out very well. Lift and corridors are all v bright and well cleaned. The area is touristy to some extent with loads of good value eating places including a very popular Hungarian restaurant where you need to book called Getto Gulyas. The area as a whole used to be the Jewish ghetto so the huge synagogue is close by but that meant that the are as a whole is quite run down in appearance. I think that makes it a much more interesting feel than some of the more renovated areas. This apartment block is new enough that it's not shown on Google satellite. Apartment was very clean and well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. Everything you need for cooking on holiday. Furnished exclusively from Ikea by the looks of it but it felt new and not worn out. Bed is comfortable and on the firm side. So far the is absolutely nothing of any significance wrong with the apartment. Maybe we have been lucky by not being near a stag party. But we've only seen one about town in our stay so far. From our experience we would recommend.

|1.18km from city centerWe loved our 5 night stay here, we opted for a 1 bedroom apartment. We were amazed at how big, clean and well equipped the apartment was (there were even a couple of laundry pods to do washing if you wished). The staff at reception were really welcoming and happy to help giving great advice. Location is fantastic as close to all the main sights with the metro, tram and bus stops at the top of the road. Close to some brilliant restaurants like Mozel Tof, Ghetto Goulash and Pork and Prezli (make sure you book) Really handy that the direct airport bus stop is just a 5 minute walk too. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if coming to Budapest.

Budapest
|2.26km from city centerFabulous! This smallish (17 rooms) and spotless hotel is in a lovely old building, built round a courtyard which is mostly roofed in to provide an inside terrace. Many of the rooms face into the courtyard. The rooms have air-con which is definitely a blessing in Budapest summer weather (35C when we were there!). The street outside is a very quiet back-street, but bustling squares full of bars and cafes are a very short distance away, as is the main ”outer ring” road with trams to all parts of the city. There's an excellent buffet breakfast but no restaurant. The staff are friendly and very helpful - nothing is too much trouble - and mostly speak English. For a comfortable clean hotel in a quiet location but within easy distance of - well, everything - this would be hard to beat. Highly recommended.

|2.22km from city centerThe room was not clean when I moved in late Wednesday night. I talked to the receptionist the next morning who ensured me that the rooms are cleaned every day, and that she would find out whether there had been a mistake. She also ensured that the room would be in order by the time I got back that afternoon. When I got back, it was obvious that someone had been in the room since the bed was made. But no other cleaning seemed to have been done. I talked to the same receptionist, who shrugged her shoulders and said that the cleaners had left for the day and she had no other room to offer me. The hotel also refused to let me check out early with a refund, or to give me a discount for the stay. Also for breakfast the hotel served moldy bread, sour milk and where out of coffee.

|2.02km from city centerHotel breakfast is very good, adult 16 euros, half price for children. The only bad thing is the two bedrooms, with two shower rooms, but there is only one toilet. If there are many people in the family, they will always have to wait for the toilet. Everything is fine except for this. The parking lot is also very convenient. From the garage you can take the elevator directly to the room floor.

|2.02km from city centerI can’t really fault this hostel. My friends and I got a six person private room and it was perfect for us. I loved how the shower, toilet and sink are all separated which made it easy for six girls to get ready. The reception was open 24/7 which was really handy for check in or if you wanted to grab some essentials like water conveniently. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. The individual charging lockers and lamps were really handy beside each bed. I would definitely come back. Just bear in mind that there is no cleaning during your stay, which was no problem for us. If you need fresh towels or toilet paper or anything you can ask at reception.

|1.7km from city centerMixed stay. I really didn't sleep well. It's not the hostels fault that people come home late and make noise, but I didn't sleep well because of it.
Fantastic fulky stocked kitchen. Really easy to cook for yourself. Nice lobby area which is really comfortable.
Shower wasn't so clean, tons of bugs in the sink. Only 2 toilets for the men on the whole floor? Kinda odd. 5 showers which is enough.
Room is ok. Big cupboard (bring a padlock) bed is comfortable. Pillow is absolutely abysmally uncomfortable.
2 sockets next to the bed. Fantastic air conditioning.
Check in is a hard 3pm. That is not flexible at all so plan your time.
The hostel organizes social events via its whatsapp group and seems to have a lot going on.
Location is pretty good. Limited bar/club noise and it's walkable to many spots. It's in the Jewish quarter around 5 minute walk to Astoria.
Staff seem amiable enough. But truthfully I had limited interactions with them.
6 bed mixed dorm room.

|2.44km from city centerFor the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised! The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, but the breakfast really surprised us! There was a lot of choice, the food was really good, and there even was gluten free options available which are usually hard to find! The staff was very accommodating and the 24h reception real handy. We will definitely be back! Also we very much appreciated finding a full water bottle in our room as we checked in on a very hot day, and very happy that the room had a safe.

|1.35km from city center ROOMbach Hotel Budapest Center Budapest, Rumbach Sebestyén u. 14, 1075 Hotel Alan Shackel 132 points 4 hours ago We found this hotel to be a great 3* hotel. The location is perfect (2 mins walk from Deak Ferenc terminal where the 100E airport bus terminates and central to all of the major sights. Staff at the hotel are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and when we had what was a minor fuse box problem in our room, it was resolved within 5mins and with no complaint or prompting from us, a bottle of bubbly was nonetheless delivered to our room as an apology for the inconvenience. What a great touch. Standard rooms are very small, but if you upgrade to a Superior Room, they are modern, spacious & comfortable with a large bed, a spacious lounge area and a nice bathroom. Breakfast is very good too. One criticism I have is the lack of in-room tea/coffee making facilities, which seems strange given rooms do have a fridge. However, reception arranged for a kettle in our room, so problem solved! Another criticism is the position of the TV, which is fine if you're watching on the sofa, but difficult to see from the bed. One final criticism is no drawer space at all.b Bedside cabinets have no drawers and clothes storage is open plan. However, there is free security safe for valuables. Overall, we would thoroughly recommend The Roombach and we would definitely stay here again.

|1.68km from city centerA hotel with just a little extra in all matters. We were traveling 2 adults and 2 kids ( 8 & 10) The service was excellent We felt very welcome. The room was amazing (we got a big suite) with extra parent room and it was big enough for relaxing with take away with tired kids in the evening. The swimmingpool was fine and the sauna very warm and nice. The breakfast was really fantastic with special cook making omelets, special fresh frught maker and a small extra thing when leaving the breakfast. All in all you had the feeling of getting a little extra all the time. This hotel is highly recommended and we would like to stay here again next time we visit Budapest.

|3.78km from city centerHotel is easy reachable by car and has very good connectivity within 5-10 min walk (bus, tram and metro). Interior is cosy and colourful, breakfast is decent, rooms are nice. Perhaps we missed a shelf in bathroom. The only thing that I really didn't understand is price policy and relatively big difference between the price we paid and price advertised on the screen in the lobby. Parking fee of 10€/day could also be included in room rate.

|2.39km from city centerAlthough it is a little far from the city center, it was a quiet and comfortable stay.
The hotel was shaped like a ship, and the view from the rooms and restaurant was exactly like that of a ship, but there was no shaking and it looked like a normal building.
Hot food was available for breakfast, and there were many types of bread, so I was very satisfied.
There was also a plastic bottle of water in the room, which saved me the hassle of shopping.
I would like to use it again.

|1.34km from city centerThe airport shuttle bus 100E drops only a few minutes walk away from the hostel. (30mins travel) Very useful. There is a socket and reading light next to each bed and I had a change of bedding on my second day. I feel that this is due to there being no bed bookings and you choose your own, so they don't know which bed is still in use. There's a danger you may lose your bed if you don't leave things on it. There was a shared bathroom with a toilet in it and a locker provided in the room too. I brought my own towel as this was not provided. There is shower gel provided in the shower. A really central hostel, though they're is a hub of bars directly opposite, so they're is a lot of noise until very late which means I had disrupted sleep both nights. Plenty of takeaway places close for quick bites to eat and lots of café spots close too. This hostel is also very close to get to the main sights and starts of walking tours also if you'd be doing this too.

|1.05km from city center3 night stay in May for our honeymoon. The location of this hotel is spot on! It is right on the cathedral, shops, so many choices of restaurants moments away. The staff were very friendly, always greeted us when we came in or out. Our room was very modern and clean. The bed was really comfortable, the shower is really big and good pressure. Lots of mirrors and storage space too. The hotel did offer a little breakfast (bread, pastries, juice, coffee, yogurts etc) we only used it once but didn’t feel like we needed to as there was so much nearby for us to try. We walked to everything we wanted to visit within the city but when we went further a field used “bolt” taxi service which is like Uber and never waited more than 5 minutes. I would recommend this hotel, and stay again. It looks hidden on the street but once you know it’s there it’s easy to find!

|0.81km from city centerThe room is beautiful! And there is an exclusive private area, but the main building is a 17th century monument, it is half a reserved area, so there is no elevator, the luggage is not friendly, and the air-conditioning is very weak, so if it is a friend who is afraid of heat or a friend who wants to come in summer, you can avoid it. But winter is very suitable, it is a romantic room! Breakfast is also paid, no extra payment! The experience is great except for being too hot!
