The hotel is outside the restricted area of Z.T.L. Self-driving friends don't have to worry about being punished. The hotel can park for free in the small yard. The white line parking lot on the roadside can be parked free of charge if there is a place. The landlord’s wife is particularly enthusiastic. After checking in, she will be clear from the time she eats and plays. There are free bicycles to use, it is not too convenient, and it takes ten minutes to ride to various attractions. The mini loft on the upper and lower floors of the room, as well as a small skylight, is very satisfactory overall.

The room was spacious, very well equipped and not in the noisy central district. The bus was only 5 minutes walk away if you needed it. Otherwise you can walk for 25 mins through some very interesting streets, or else walk along the riverside to the central. The staff were all very helpful and cheerful. Everything was cleaned very well. The breakfast was Italian style and excellent. We can't ask for much more, and we enjoy friendly family run small hotels rather than giant chain hotels. We only had three nights in Florence, not nearly enough time in retrospect, but Hotel Bologna with its professional attitude and facilities - and especially quietness was superb. It has a lift, too - quite important for those with knee or other mobility problems.

1. The hotel is outside the ZTL exclusion zone, 2 km from Michelangelo Square and about 2 km from the Uffizi Gallery. It is also good to walk all the way and look at the street view. 2. There is free street parking in front of the hotel. You can see the parking spaces through the windows in the rooms facing the street so you can stay overnight. 3. The hotel looks like a family hotel, not very big, but the surroundings are also good and the breakfast is good too. General satisfaction.

The location of the room is good, in the urban area, the room can be considered as a big, very fine hotel! The lobby of the hotel is very stylish. Breakfast dining environment is also good! The layout of the room, a family of three 👨‍👩‍👧 will not be crowded when staying! The child's bed is on the other side of the room. Good space, three suitcases don't feel too crowded! The bathroom space is not small, the shower room is very interesting, it is flexible and retractable! The hotel's air conditioner is a bit hot, and the air conditioner is turned off, but I still feel a bit hot! Everything else is fine! Very cost-effective hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were on the first floor, there is no lift so quite glad we didn’t have to get our luggage up to the top floor. The staff on reception and rally helpful and speak excellent English. Room was a good size, the bathroom was quite small but it was clean and functional. The walls are quite thin so you do hear a lot of other guests, especially at night when they are coming in. Breakfast was €6 pppn, it was a standard continental breakfast but the coffee wasn’t that nice. It’s about a 25 minute walk into the centre of Florence, we got a taxi to and from the hotel with our luggage, it cost around €17 each way so worth bearing in mind. My partner was bitten by mosquitoes whilst we were staying here, which didn’t happen anywhere else during our stay in Italy.

This hotel is excellent. The staff are really helpful and friendly. The location is very good. It is within easy walking distance of the centre of Firenze (where all the tourist attractions are). There are also very convenient bus stops for the 12 and 14 bus services nearby. Both these services will take you to the center of town. Firenze Campo di Marte station is about 15 minutes’ walk away (or about 3 stops on the number 12 bus) The hotel has a modern design, with lots of space in the lobby and seating area. The Wi-Fi coverage and quality throughout the hotel is excellent. The rooms and bathrooms are good with excellent air conditioning (which is really needed in summer in Firenze!). The shower in the bathroom was really, really good. The buffet-style breakfast is not included in the price, but was well worth the additional cost. I would definitely stay here again when in Firenze.

From the moment I arrived Alessandra (Woman on main desk) was very helpful and accommodating through the whole duration of our stay, despite a slight English barrier. To say I am impressed with the whole set up is a understatement especially after learning they recently opened in April 2019. From the bedrooms which were quirky and well spaced and personal balconies, to the breakfast area with the view of Florence. Breakfast included fresh foods and was very organised as well as taking personal requirements; again very accommodating This is located in the more local area away from the touristy busy parts adding to the whole experience of our stay in Florence. I honestly can not see a fault in this place. Ciao!

We stayed at 2016 Apartments for a long weekend. The host (Cristina if I am not mistaken) was really nice and available to accommodate our requests. The flat was very clean and had a nespresso coffee machine inside which came very handy in the mornings. Despite the heat outside, we could sleep without any air conditioning. The location was also good, a short walk to the heart of the city centre. I would certainly recommend staying here.

it is my third or fourth stay in this little B&B, centrally located at walking distance from both the railway station and the exhibition center, Fortezza da Basso. it is locatd very close the old San Lorenzo market. Large rooms, all renovated, nice and modern design, very comfortable bed, perfect cleaning. Room are equipped with a small fridge, air conditionign TV and a working Wi-Fi. The shower (no bathtub) may be dark in some rooms, but it is not a big problem, at least for me. Normal amenities in the bathroom. A basic but suffcient breakfast. Nice and friendly staff that can also help you in going around and/or booking trips and museums. Indeed very good value for money

This place is more like an "appartment" than a B&B. We stayed in room #4 which has two twin beds and is quite spacious. Upon arrival no one answered the door but when we called their number, someone came to help us within 5 minutes. My advice would be: make sure you have the phone number with you. I guess waiting, even if only for a few minutes, might not be nice when it's raining. We loved the wooden floor, the beautiful ceiling and decoration in the room (simple but in style with the old building) especially our chandelier :-). The bathroom is very modern but consists only of a toilet and shower. The wash basin is actually in the room itself, around a corner, which didn't bother us. There is a water cooker in the room but only tea, no (instant) coffee. So if you like to drink coffee, you have to bring your own. There are lots of TV channels but not a single English or other language one. The room is up a short flight of stairs and then a small elevator takes you further up. The location is just UNBELIEVABLE!!! A 5 minutes" walk from Palazzo Vecchio and 15 min to Ponte Vecchio. There is a taxi stand around the corner at Piazza della Repubblica. There are several good options for breakfast nearby. Would certainly recommend. Hard to beat the price and location!

Nice small boutique B&B. Check in was easy with everything explained and being personally shown around the hotel and to the room. The Superior room is exactly like the pictures, with a bathtub inside the room. Lots of space, large TV, and a bathroom with lots of mirrors! Lots of hot water, and the bath was great to use. Didn’t use it as a shower so can’t comment on the water pressure. Simple breakfast with pastries, cereal, spreads, yoghurt, juices, coffee, cold cuts etc served in the dining room. No staff onsite after 7pm, but there’s still little touches like mood lighting and music playing through the common areas.

I mean during the check in the entire time, the staff ignored me the entire time, I understand he knows I was with my friends, but I have my reservation separately, he should handle it by the order, and not just assigned me the smallest room just because I was a single person.I booked the exactly same type of room just like my friends, and their room is twice bigger than mine. And I can only eat breakfast in bed because there was no room to put it. That’s hilarious actually.

Location is good especially for those who likes walking, it will take you 15-20 minutes to reach the Duomo. Staff is very welcoming and friendly: they gave us a map and gave some recommendations about main sights and places to eat. Our room was very cozy, beautiful and clean. Also, the building itself gives you very special atmosphere. There were two bottles of water and some cookies for free in the room while check-in. Breakfast was very good (served in the cafe 5 minutes walking from the hotel): juice, coffee and baked goods (2 pieces to choose). This hotel is a very good choice for its price!

We spent 4 nights at this hotel last week. I always use trip advisor for recommendations and it’s always been on point and very helpful. This is the first time that I just don’t understand all these 5 star reviews. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a residential building. When you walk into the building, there are stairs to get to the first floor. On the first floor there is a small elevator you can take to the hotel floor. Be prepared to carry your luggage up to the elevator. The room was big with high ceilings. The bathroom was a decent size as well. It seemed clean. The WiFi was a big problem as we couldn’t connect any devices due to their router having a problem. Luckily they had another room available and we were moved because that room had a stronger signal and because I needed the internet for work, I had to agree to pack our things and move. The second room was nicer. The design was better and it even had flowers which was a nice touch. They have a buffet breakfast with few choices and after the first few days, it wasn’t enjoyable because it was the same thing day after day. Bread, cereal, croissants, cheese, ham, Nutella, jam, fruits, juice. The dining area is nice. The biggest problem we had with the hotel was the smell. There was a smell as soon as you enter the hotel and it was even worse in the room and especially bathroom. In the bathroom was such a strong sewer smell. I was so disappointed. I’m not sure if the sewer issue is just in this hotel or others as well. The location was decent. It’s just a few minutes walk from the Santa Croce church and shops and restaurants. It’s about a 13 minute walk from the center where the Duomo is located. With all this being said, the hotel staff was very nice and helpful. They were willing to help with what’s needed.

No elevator, no elevator, no elevator! The important thing is said three times! If you want to climb a narrow staircase to the upstairs with a huge suitcase, you must choose this hotel! The shower room is terrible. The shower has a red, yellow and blue light, and the entire bathroom is colored. Service is general, active awareness is not strong! But a young girl at the breakfast bar was particularly enthusiastic. I had to miss the train that day. She packed it for me early, very good!

Capri Moon is about a 10-15 min walk from the train station. Just follow google maps to get you to the location. It will be hard to find but it is worth it when you find the place. When you get to the building 17 look at the panel for Capri Moon and press the button. Walk into the double doors and wait until they buzz you in the right gate. Walk upstairs all the way to the top and the guesthouse is to your right. Now for the room itself, the beds are comfortable along with the pillows. The restroom is great as well. The pricing isnt bad for the location and if you share with a friend or two, it wont break your bank account.

We, a family of 5, stayed here for 2 nights. PROS: great location. It is right on the edge of everything, so the streets are quiet but it is still close to the Duomo and Accademie. Clean. Everything was quite clean, the floors, bathrooms, beds. Super nice. The owner and his staff are all super I d and accommodating. Free breakfast. It is pretty “meh.” My picky American kids wouldn’t eat most of it. The fruit always seemed overripe and there was other weirdness about it. But they do try. Spacious. The rooms are large and the bathrooms not super tiny. My three gripes about it: It is very dated. The lobby area is probably clean but it looks like your great-aunt’s living room, cluttered with doilies, lace tablecloths and old appliances, so it looks a little grubby. Everything could use a fresh coat of paint. It looks like an older Airbnb vs a 3 star hotel. Our fridge didn’t work. We were there in the middle of a heat wave and would have liked for our water to be cold. The housekeeping turned off the air conditioning while we were gone. It wasn’t unbearably hot or anything but as I mentioned, we were in the middle of a heat wave and after walking all day in 102 degree weather (with a baby in a baby carrier!), it would have been nice to come back to a nice cold room. Overall, I’m not sure I’d stay here again. There are certainly a lot pro’s but the price for a more updated, nicer hotel isn’t that much more. If you’re trying to save a buck, it’s fine. If you’d like to feel happy about coming back to your hotel room after a hot walk about town, I’d probably choose elsewhere.

The hotel is an old palace-like house remodeled, each room is mural, very beautiful. The hotel has only 8 rooms and is a very quiet boutique hotel. The hotel's location is in the heart of Florence, and is far from the main attractions of the core area, close to the Pitti Palace and the Old Bridge, is a region where the locals live more, compared to the main attractions area has a quiet alarm. There are a lot of art-run shops run by locals downstairs, which is worth a visit. There are plenty of local restaurants to try out downstairs. I will stay here next time.

Despite some issues, we liked the stay. Hosts are doing a great job. · The host was very friendly and explained us how to get to the historical center by public transport. We had room for two people with a queen-size (not sure) bed. The room had an extremely high ceiling and a chandelier, but the floor was covered with tile which would fall off in some places. There is a wardrobe, a TV and 3 sockets in the room (which is not enough, in my humble opinion). We had a shared bathroom for two rooms (L'Aranceto doesn't have other rooms, as I understood). The stuff tried their best to keep the bathrooms clean and fresh and succeeded in that, I must admit. Towels and shower gel are included but there was no hairdryer, so be aware. (It turned out you could ask the hosts to get it.) There is also a kitchen and garden in the hotel, which look quite cozy. You can buy products in the supermarket not far from the hotel. Location is good: there is a bus station just around the corner. And at that station there is the best confectionary ever – try pistachio croissants and you will return here just for them.

We had forgotten our jacket in a taxi on our way to the hotel and without us even asking, they called the taxi service and made sure our jacket was returned. The lady running the place was very friendly and extremely kind. The only issue we encountered was that the wrong address was provided in the TripAdvisor confirmation so we first went to an incorrect location, however when we called the property they directed us to the right place....so please make sure to check the address with the hotel. It is in a very good location (around 15 mins to train station. 5-10 mins to mercato Centrale, 10 mins to galleria d’academia, 15-20 mins to most other things to see). The host seemed nice in the minimal interactions we had, gave us a map and explained how to get places and said hi each morning as we left. The rooms were clean upon arrival and were tidied each day. Not entirely sure why so many people are moaning about some of the rules you are asked to adhere too which I would say are all entirely reasonable, especially considering the price paid. There are few hotel staff. I sent an email to the parking place in advance. I didn't reply to it several times. I didn't have the hotel's website (Ctrip didn't provide the website address or the hotel email address), and it took a long time to stop. The reception was quite smooth. The hotel is in the old town and it is more convenient to walk for ten minutes from the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore. The breakfast is also good, the variety is enough, the service staff is very warm, and his kitchen is always open, you need hot water to burn it yourself, there is juice in the refrigerator, you can use it yourself. It was a very good hotel, the location was good, the breakfast was good, and it was quite historic. The reason for the bad review was that the friend's room in the same company was stolen! ! ! The locked lockbox is completely destroyed. The hotel does not have a camera, the police do not come, the hotel manager to accompany us to the police station to report the case is only for the insurance company to compensate for their losses. Although the room rate was finally waived, the stolen goods hotel did not compensate and asked their insurance company to determine the amount of compensation. In other words, if the insurance company does not pay, they are not responsible. Fortunately, the loss is not big, but the thinking is extremely fearful, security is not guaranteed! I would like to thank an unidentified staff member of the consulate. Although there is no law enforcement power, I have to communicate with the hotel for a long time to ensure that the hotel is to be rehabilitated.

I consider myself very lucky to have found the Hotel St. James on my recent trip to Florence. My travel partner and I arrived in Florence by train in the morning only to find out soon after that my travel partner had accidentally booked us into a hotel 20 minutes outside of Florence! We decided to look for a new hotel and chose the most reasonably priced one we could find online to make up for the money we were going to lose on the other hotel. We arrived at the Hotel St. James not expecting much given the very low price, but it turned out to exceed our expectations in every way! The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Our room, which included a private bathroom, was very large and clean and was cleaned every day. The beds were comfy and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that a free breakfast was included each morning (btw, the breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety). But perhaps the best part (aside from the staff because they were in fact truly amazing), was the hotel's very central location. More specifically, it's just a short walk from the train station and within walking distance of everything you'd want to see in Florence. If I ever make it back to Florence, I will definitely be staying there again. Don't let the low price fool you, this place is a gem and the best deal in town!
