This hotel exceeded our expectations. My family stayed here for the women's world cup semi final games and we were more than pleasantly surprised how centrally located we were to experience Lyon. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, the front desk staff spoke exceptionally good English, and for the price we felt like we got more than we would have with any other hotel or lodging option. The grocery store across the street was a great addition for any travel and food needs and the crepe restaurant almost next door was unbelievable good.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Very quurky rooms each with a theme. Ours was the puppet room. Friendly host very helpful. Could have done with more advance info on all the codes needed to allow access to the gated property. Great bio supermarket opposite . Very environmentally friendly. Can take bottles in once bought to fill up with wayer for 35 cents. Breakfast at hotel adequate but could be better. Warm croissants would be good and fresh fruit salad and boiled eggs would be nice. Comfy bed quiet nights sleep. Access to kitchen to make a brew is good. And fridge to keep own drinks. Good location five mins from tube to centre and lots of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend rio alexandre on felix faure. We did the open top bus trip which was good but not over impressed with the tram tour of croix rousse. Great shopping and beautiful city. Loved the old town.

In the city center, the location is good, there is its own parking lot, but it is not easy to find, the entrance is on the other road, but it can go up to the hotel upstairs, the parking fee is not expensive 13 euros. There are induction cookers, pots, and cooking, suitable for tourists who live for a few more days.

1. Accessibility It is very accessible by public transport since tram and metro stations are only ~5 and 10 minutes walk away. If you came by plane, take the Rhone express train and switch to tram line T1 heading to Debourg, stop at Saint-André station. You can also pick to stop at Guillotière, but in my opinion, it is closer to walk to the hostel if you were in Saint-André station. You will find the hostel right at the corner of Rue Montesquieu. If you'd like to visit Notre-Dame de Fourvière, just walk to Guillotière station to take D line to Gare de Vaise, stop at Vieux Lyon to switch to the funicular that will bring you to the basilica. 2. Neighborhood It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but still has so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, and stores. The city center is very accessible by foot for more entertainment and sightseeing (well yeah, of course, you also can have public transport, but why miss the beautiful city of Lyon if you can walk???). When you walk, stop at Bowl de la Guillotière, one of the hotspot playgrounds for skateboard, BMX, and scooter lovers. Trust me, you'll see some impressive jumps. 3. Service Lovely!! They're just super nice and warm, and very helpful. Even you can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out for free. Every guest will receive a ticket for a welcome drink, but my friend used it a minute after check-out, and they still gave her a welcome drink. Lol. 4. Bedroom I slept in an 8-bed mixed dorm. There were 4 other people aside from my friend and I. I'll give 6/10 for the bed cleanliness, mostly because of its carpet that was a little bit smell. But you'll still get a clean sheet and your personal electricity sockets and a reading lamp. There were be big drawers under the bunkbed to store luggage. My bed was on the third floor, and as the hostel has no elevator, so it was quite troublesome to carry my 24" luggage up. FYI, they provide dorms, private rooms, and even big private rooms for group travellers or family. 5. Bathroom Super clean, super nice, and they separate the shower with the toilet, which is nice for people who wants more privacy. 9/10, definitely. 6. Interior Design LOVE IT!! Every corner is Pinterest materials. There was a wedding dinner during my stay at their bar, and the decoration made the hostel more beautiful than ever. THE VERDICT: Totally recommended for solo travellers, couples, groups, even family.

Hotel location is OK, just walk 5 to 8 minutes walk from the part dieu train station. Part dieu itself is a business district, so shopping is not awkward, there is the Auchan supermarket on the road opposite the hotel. Because there is an induction cooker in the room, breakfast can be bought at the supermarket. The location of the hotel is a few minutes away from the subway station. Fortunately, Lyon is not too big, even if it is not too far. The room size is not small, the sofa is dirty, there are no daily necessities such as slippers and toothbrushes, and there is a kettle, but there is still water in it, so I dare not use it. There are not many sockets, it is best to have a long converter. Service attitude is better, and you can ask questions directly.

Except for the good location, next to the light rail bus station, other things are not so good. Turning a few turns, the facilities are outdated, the bed is too soft and narrow, I am always afraid of falling when I turn over. Switched to live overnight

At short notice, finding a reasonably priced hotel with parking is a challenge in Lyon, so this hotel met those criteria. The room was a bit out of date but acceptable. However, the view of the neighbouring apartments is a down side. Short walk across the river to the main square. Reasonable breakfast and friendly staff.

This hotel has rellay good value and low prices. It's clean and centrally located, there's an own parking as well. The rooms have a fair size, are clean and well equipped (with chromecast, tv etc.). The bed is comfy as well. It's quite silent in the night as well which gurantees a good sleep. The breakfast is quite nice too, eggs, bacon, croissants etc. everything you need! What I didn't like was that the soap dispenser in the shower was empty and even after I left a note for the room-maid the dispenser wasn't refilled. Also the doors had a code instead of a key and on our last day (check out at 12) the code wasn't working any more and we had to get someone from the front desk to open the room for us. Other than that I'd stay there again and recommend it to anybody travelling on a budget.

First time staying at this hotel. It is a very good hotel, clean, new, comfortable. Located in front of the Saone river. I came to this hotel to attend a business conference/training. The staff is helpful, the rooms are good size compared to other hotels. The food and service is good at the restaurant. I went jogging couple of days along the river. There are restaurants, shops in the streets behind the hotel. I will return to this hotel.

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the shopping spots on the other side of the river. Life is convenient, there is an Uexpress supermarket downstairs, you can buy fruits, yogurt, super delicious. Must be freshly squeezed juice, cheap and delicious! The room is not big, but each double bed is 1.5 meters wide. It is no problem for two people to sleep on the same bed. It is a good news for families with children. The room is very clean. Although it is not very high-end, it is not bad.

Location-wise I'm not sure - it really depends on what you are in Lyon for probably. Should be easy enough to get into the city center, though for a tourist I would probably only choose this place because of price as it's not really in the center. This looks like a bit of an older Mercure - at least the rooms - but nothing could be faulted on the service. Very nice people at check-in / check-out. Seemed like a noisy hotel downstairs in the lobby every time (people having a good time I'm sure) but it was quiet enough in the room. The room was quite nice too, bit of a special layout but I like that. Good bed, good wifi, good enough bathroom. Would I go back? If I had to be near it, definitely would. Though it wasn't so exceptional that I wouldn't also look at other places before deciding :)

I stayed in this hotel twice in August and was very impressed. It is in an excellent central location yet it was quiet once inside. 1, ibis standard room, small and tidy, except for the towel hand soap, there is no hotel linen; 2, go left and turn left a few steps from the train station, the train station has starbucks / bakery, etc., through the train station hall is Lyon's Galeries Lafayette and Carrefour and other malls, but this Lafayette is a low match in Paris, in short, easy to eat and drink; 3, walk to the ancient city for about 40 minutes, you can also stroll; 4, parking fee 15 euros per night, originally 30 euros live Shop guests can make a 50% discount; 5, the hair dryer can be borrowed at the front desk for 10 euros, and the deposit is refunded when checkout; 6. The hotel is quite chaotic, armed with guns and various shackles.

The most comfortable hotel in France, the train station is 2 minutes out, convenient to catch a car. The city of Lyon is also relatively clean, not as messy as Paris. Clean and hygienic, the room size is large, and finally catch up with Chinese domestic hotels. Breakfast is 18.9 euros, which is quite rich. Anyway, it is Western-style. Sausage tastes good

I spent four nights at the hotel, and wish I had spent a week! The entire stay was fantastic, from the enormous bed and beautiful view of the abbey to the cocktails in the bar. The room was huge and had gorgeous views over the abbey and quiet French streets below. The bells chiming every hour during the day just added to the atmosphere of tranquility - it was hard to believe that we were staying just moments from the city centre. The staff could not have been more helpful - I asked to swap rooms on arrival so I could have a room with a bath, and my request was dealt with instantly. The bar staff are very friendly and accommodating, even whipping up a few cocktails that weren't on the menu when asked. The location of the hotel is ideal - it is a 2 minute walk from the main metro line, 10 minutes to the Bellecour square, 15 minutes (max) to the old town. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, pharmacies and shops around - the Spar about 2 mins away stays open till 10pm each day, even on Sunday which is unheard of in France. It was easy to get to every corner of the city, but didn't feel like you were in a touristy area at all. The decor of the hotel is beautiful, elegant and colourful - it actually has some personality unlike so many places these days - and the way that the old stonework of the building has been showcased is fantastic. I didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on it, but it always seemed lively and the menu looked very interesting. I'm already planning a return trip, and will certainly be staying here again. I lived in Lyon for many years and never knew where to recommend as a hotel for visitors, but now I certainly do!

At the edge of the city, it is more suitable for self-driving, convenient for arrival and departure. But there is a bus in front of the door, and it is not far from the old city. It is estimated that it is not convenient to drive by yourself. The rooms are nice, with a balcony and a kitchen, kitchenware and cutlery, including a microwave and coffee maker. In short, it feels good and worth the money. The only inconvenience is that the opposite side of our room is under construction and it is noisy in the morning.

We selected this location due to the trip advisor reviews. Let's talk about the quirks of the hotel... Do not expect a street level lobby. It does not exist. There is a sign on the building, but this is a shared building wih (presumably) other residents and businesses. The hotel is on the 2nd floor (as I recall). So if you are used to an American style lodging, be prepared for something different from the beginning. The elevator to get to the hotel is small. We had to take multiple trips to get our bags up. At the top is another door that takes you into the 'hotel' lobby. We stayed in a junior suite, which is large by european standards. I think we would have found the other rooms too small. You will also be given quite a key set. You will be given 3 keys. One key is for the hotel door (for after hours), one key is for your room, and they have an RFID fob to get you in from the street to the inner lobby, and from the inner lobby to the elevator. They explain all this to you, and it isn't difficult, but it can seem like it to begin with. We had no issues. The hotel is old, but the rooms have been wonderfully preserved. I think the pictures are mostly an accurate presentation of what you are getting. The staff was very accomodating. They gave us very detailed instructions on things to do that we based our plans off of for the several days they were there. It is a 3-5 minute walk to the metro station. Learn and use the Lyon transportation system and save yourself some walking. We found the bathroom in the room to be more than adequate a very nice for European standards. In summary: Expect a little quirkiness with this one, but the price cannot be beat for what you get.

A family of three, the executive three-person room booked two days in advance, the standard room plus a sofa bed at the time of check-in, the most important thing is that there is no quilt and pillow on the sofa bed! And all the toiletries are for two people. After negotiating with the front desk, I said that I am embarrassed to clean up the mistakes. Then I found a circle and said that I was too embarrassed to be quilted. I can only use the spare blanket in the cabinet! We asked for two sheets to look for. The attitude of the younger brother is good, but it is helpless, and we are speechless. In addition, the room had a pungent taste of decoration (or the smell of carpet cleaner) and opened a night window. Experience the worst hotel on this trip!

Clean and spacious, booked a room with a living room, booking information is for three people, the sofa bed in the living room was opened and paved at the time of check-in, the balcony is also a large balcony connecting the living room to the bedroom, it is nice to have a kitchenette, walking near the hotel There is a slightly bigger Carrefour in 5 minutes.
