Stay in room 4 for 2 nights. I arrived about midday, but the room was ready and the reception let me check in anyway, so kudos for that. One of the staff took me to my room and showed me where all the facilities were before taking me to my room. The room was a 4 bed dorm room, but very large and immaculately clean (as is the hostel). The 2 bunk beds took up maybe a quarter of the room. The rest of the room was taken up with a couch and three tub chairs, and tastefully decorated. The bed had a super comfortable mattress, excellent duvet, a large fluffy and firm pillow, a safety deposit box, an electrical socket, a personal light and a privacy curtain The covers for the duvet, mattress and pillow all felt better quality than the average hostel. In terms of comfort, the whole hostel had a “premium” feel to it. Access to both the hostel and the room is secured using a fob. Combined with the safety deposit box made me feel much more relaxed because Im’ usually paranoid about losing my passport. The bathrooms and toilets were all shared and there’s several across I think two floors. I didn’t have any trouble waiting for either. Both the toilet and bathroom were clean and spotless. The hostel also has an attached cafe which also served breakfast for the guests. I had breakfast and coffee at the cafe a few times. Both coffee and food here are excellent, especially the cacao and almond cookies. It was deeeelicious. Location wise, the hostel is 5 minutes walk to the station and another few minutes to get into the city centre. Basically, it’s close to all the attractions and Brno is a very walkable city anyway. The cafe serves food until late, but the city centre has plenty of places and plenty of choices. The staff were just super throughout the stay, friendly and happy to see you, which just made the stay so much more pleasant. Other little things include hooks in the showers, free lemon and mint water just makes me think hostel has put so much thought into making guests comfortable, it’s incredible. The hostel also provides Wifi which was fast and effectively. No trouble at all using it anywhere in the hostel or the cafe. Overall, I had a fantastic stay. I would give this hostel 10 stars if I could and would look forward to staying again.

When I pulled up at this hotel and entered I was very impressed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and comfortable with air conditioning. It was cleaned daily during our 4 day stay. There was a big selection of food on offer at breakfast as well as fruit, fresh waffles and cakes. It was my partners birthday on the Monday if which we never mentioned. However, when we came back later that day there was a cake and a candle in a plate with Happy Birthday scribed in chocolate, and matches to light the candle. It was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The hotel was situated close to tram stops that took you directly into the old town egg. I would recommend this hotel. My only criticism is only 2 cartons of milk left in room enough for one drink each. They did however give us more when we asked.

The location is particularly good, the bus that took the SA was seen from Prague to Brno. Behind the hotel are the main attractions. The room is a suite and the bed is comfortable. I feel that the price is high in Ctrip. If booked at the hotel, the same room is more than $200 per night. The front desk staff can communicate in English. You need to bring your own slippers and toothbrush. You can store your luggage. I am too lazy to take pictures, but I can't say it. The trip to the Czech Republic was very satisfying through the hotel booked by Ctrip.

The Omega Hotel in Brno is a hidden jugglery in that town. We stayed there for 3 days at the begging of June. We enjoy every moment and the hosts did make any effort to enjoy our stay. The hotel is spotless clean, the attention to details is admirable! From the crispy, impeccable clean tick bed mattress and bed sheets, to bathroom, carpets, curtains, etc, everything is in good taste and carefully cared for! The breakfast room and the breakfast are other things that make one enjoy the stay. The food is divers with traditional local breakfast treats, fresh bread, pate, fruits, vegetables, coffee, yogurt, pastry and many other yummy things. The breakfast varies every day, so one has the chance to enjoy more fresh delights. in addition, the location of the hotel is very good, jut 5-10 min walking from Brno center, in a peaceful residential area. The hotel was beautiful! They received me with a glass of sparkling white wine, not sure what it was but it was very nice. The breakfast buffet was cute and the bedroom was beautiful. There was a problem, the potty next to the toilet I think it was a males toilet I’m not sure, either way it had pee stains and there were some hairs around. I’m not very picky but that wasn’t nice. Hotel Austerlitz is located by the river, 4 tram stops from main station as well as from the city centre. From some of the rooms you can see Spilberk castle - quite a nice view at night. The interior as well as rooms were clean, simple, a bit outdated but still fine. The rooms would need new windows, it was a bit cold despite of the heating and you will hear all the street noise - trams, cars, even louder people chatting. We really missed any shower/bath tube screen in the bathroom - it's pretty hard to take a shower and not to cause a flood. Breakfast - quite a nice choice for a 3* hotel, just the eggs were not tasty at all - maybe it was just a wrong morning. We spent approx. 1100 CZK for one night including breakfast.

I re ally enjoyed my 3 night stay at this hotel. Firstly the location is ideal, right in the city centre just behind Freedom Square. The are plenty of shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Its about 15 minutes walk from the train station and the airport bus stop. The reception staff spoke English and were all friendly and helpful. My room for the first night was too small for me, but there was no problem changing to a larger room the next day.it was nice to see that the minibar included a free bottle of the hotel's own beer. The first night it rained so it was very convenient that the hotel has a good restaurant and brewery. The food and beer were excellent. I would certainly stay at this hotel if i return to Brno.

Neat little hostel in a well located area. Many bars and restaurants are near by and the bus terminal is about 10 minutes away. The location isn’t that accessible due to the various steps involved to enter the establishment, otherwise, there is an elevator and stair access to the dorms. The kitchen area is relatively small, but functional. The toilets and showers are few, depending on the floor, but otherwise are kept relatively clean. The dorm rooms are spacious and in my particular dorm they kept the bed to space ratio very low. There is a full length mirror and a full sized table with chairs with plenty of space to eat, drink, or work on. Each bed has a light and power outlet with privacy curtains. There is a good sized lockable storage unit under neath the bed that can easily accommodate a carryon suitcase as well as a backpack. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this for a nice comfortable stay while in the Brno.

The Hotel is located near a shopping/supermarket centre and also 5 min walking away from tram 1&6. You can also easily walk into town centre in 20 min. There are quite a few interesting restaurants in the vicinty as well. We took a superior room since in our deal parking, access to fitness and breakfast was included. Worth it since it also gave us a room on the top floor. It was quiet, and had a fridge (i think all have that), coffee making facilities, slippers (!) and all have a small balcony. The breakfast was good, with a big selection of spreads typcially Czech as far as I can judge by now. Till now I never dared to try since they look like heart-attack material 😉. Otherwise the usual selection with very nice bread. The gym has a treadmill, a stepper and a rather big collection of weights. Its also quite big and overlooks the city. I didnt try the wellness area and bowling (!) , located in the basement. There is also parking in front of the hotel. The service was very friendly and helpful, you can also buy tram tickets at the reception. Only gripe I have is with the room heating. It seemed to run nonstop, the aircon controls had minimal influence on the actual room temperature,so we had to leave the windows open most of the time.

Booked for a company conference .. it was clear that we were among the first ever guests in the newly built and extended hotel. Everything was very well appointed and finished and only 2 comments really. The bedroom lighting system was over complicated in the extreme with a totally confusing.. but hugely entertaining.. light switch arrangement where you can go around the room and put lamps and lights on ... one by one ... only to have them ALL turned off when the wrong .. unlabelled .. switch near the door is accidentally pressed. Off we go around the room again! No idea why!!! Then finally the check out destroys trees and wastes valuable time for no discernible reason. I’ve checked in and out of hotels for years ( see TA) but this process defeats all logic for pre authorisation and many reams of paper ( well room, restaurant and bar receipts all separate x4) .. to deal with. Reasonable value and close to town .. colleagues reported a labyrinth of a car park and I think one or two are still lost in there! Needs refining!

The location is close to the square and the facilities are clean. I spent almost two weeks in the Czech Republic alone, and I think if you are looking for the cleanest and most modern hotel. It seemed to be used by people who visited the area for business reasons rather than tourists. The only visitors there were those who seemed to be tourists, so I felt relatively cold and unkind of the staff. The staff who checked in at that time put their passports down and chatted with other colleagues throughout the check-in. Aside from being unkind, it was a comfortable place to stay.

We were a group of 30 people (parents with kids around 10 years old) and we have been well accommodated in Brno Centre Apartments. Communication prior to arrival was quick and helpful. There were no problems whatsoever in the apartments. The apartments are of different size, that are able to accommodate small and large families alike. Most of our apartments were on top 4th and 5th floor, with the life going only to 4th floor (no problem to walk the one level for us, but may make difference for some clients). Particularly the large apartments on top floor allowed the kids to stay together. All rooms were spotless clean, with towels and equipped kitchens.

Let me start off with saying that the pictures don't do it justice. This is one awesome hotel! The breakfast is wonderful and they replenish it during the 2 hours - it is served from 7AM until 9AM. The coffee is very tasty, and I would recommend the jams as well. When it comes to the location, this is next to a huge shopping mall with a large Tesco store inside - the prices are very good in the store. To address the comments about being too far from the center, it is a 20 minute walk that takes you through Park Luzansky as one of the most scenic walks ever! Don't think about it, just book the hotel and enjoy Brno (it is a very beautiful city indeed).

We stayed here for a night during a family vacation in Junior apartments. After our late evening arrival by car, our car was placed on a guarded parking in the yard, while we were offered some free welcome drinks in the attached to hotel restaurant named after Old Weaving factory, which building now occupies the hotel and same titled gym club. A glass of vine or a lemonade were on offer. Surprisingly, the restaurant (or kind of trattoria to say more exactly) was open until 10 or 11 pm, which was very useful to late arriving guests. Guests get a named customer loyalty card of Efi hotel and get not only discounts in the restaurant, but discounts on next stays. Besides, we were granted a free visit to swimming pool at the gym as guests of the hotel. Though we had no chance to employ it, as had to leave early next day. It must be said that room did not disappointed us either. Fully equipped for oozing, dishwashing, clothes washing etc, room was provided with nice mattresses and pillows. Although, the local inhabitants of the district were a bit noisy in the street during the night. Breakfast is good and vast. Walking distance to the old town is around 10 min. At check out we also recieved a gift from hotel - a jar of honey- which served as a nice final accord to our stay. Definitely we will stay here when next time in Brno.

The hotel has a swimming pool and many saunas, so you can spend an afternoon in it. One of the swimming pools can also swim nude. Many middle-aged men jump into the nude pool, and there are also some old ladies. Young people generally choose to walk by quietly.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. I was attending a conference at the nearby Law Faculty, and the hotel had been booked for me by the local conference organisers. We had room 808, which was a good size room with a big bed and spacious bathroom. It was at the far end of the corridor through a glass door and right on the emergency staircase, which was very hot and stuffy. The room's air conditioning was fine up to a point - the hot afternoon sun on an day with above-average temperature turned the room into a sauna (despite all the curtains being closed), and even after several hours, the room had cooled down only a little bit. That was the one drawback to note. Breakfast was fine - good choice of hot and cold food, and drinks. Not an overwhelming choice - but we wouldn't have a full range of food options at home either, so it was nice to be able to vary our breakfast (I am responding to an earlier reviewer complaining about lack of choice). The restaurant was very nice for dinner. Overall, I'd be happy to stay here again. PS: the lift may be a challenge for you if you suffer from fear of heights (like me) as it is a glass lift on the outside of the building.

Orea Hotel Voronez has to be the worst travel experience I’ve endured. Booked the room on Hotels.com and showed 4 available rooms. The person checking me in, Tomas, was angry I’d used Hotels.com as they were booked. I was advised I’d have a room with no air conditioning. Ok. Can live with that. But 1st floor room overlooked the main entry. So opening the window had a wonderful aroma of cigarette and diesel exhaust from the tour buses. The room was sp****. Basic. No kettle. No coffee maker. Nothing. Fortunately it did have towels. All night you could hear water flushing from the above rooms. It was quite calming to hear the whoosh of water being launched. Then the late evening tour bus arrival. So special. The sound of people stomping in the room above. It was also a handicap room, which I didn’t need. Breakfast was mediocre. Eggs over cooked. The two areas are unprepared to handle the flow of people from the tours. Very little for breakfast as compared to their other resort property I’ve stayed at. Couple all this with the hostility and anger displayed by Tomas during checking in, I’d advise staying elsewhere. This stay was truly disappointing.

I have to say, that the stay at the 10-Z Bunker was a great experience. It left me with mixed feeling, I guess that´s expected. You don´t book stay at this place when you want to have a romantic trip to Brno (although we did). You book it when you want to have an adventure, experience to sleep in a place that you can usually see only in movies or visit it as a museum. The place is dark, one can feel really anxious since the rooms seem original, they are very cold (no heating) and you only have a sleeping bad as a cover. Wifi is in the room and it works well but you don´t want to spend a lot of time in the room or in the bunker. It´s REALLY cold. It´s not a criticism though. You can imagine how were soldies feeling when hiding there and it makes you think about how happy we are when there is no war. The rooms are interesting, you have a lot of requisities there. I didn´t take a shower since we have been to wellness in the evening, but there was a big boiler and hot water from the tube of sink. Bathroom and toilets were clean and equipped. All good. Breakfast is classic, I loved that it was really served in real old russian plates and glasses. Spoon and forks were from aluminum. I still remember the kitchenware because my great-grandmother used to use it. (I was born in 1991). Breakfast was simple but I liked it. You got all you need and the atmosphere. People were very helpful and nice. I think that it´s very important to have kind. smiley and helpful people at the frontdesk, so you feel secured in such a place. Even though services in czech republic suck usually (sorry but no sorry because its truth) , I can´t say a bad word about staff here. Very nice. It´s 5 minutes walking from the heart of Brno. Overall, it was a very unique experience, but I only recommend it to undemanding men. Don´t expect comfort and yeah, go ahead and have fun. :)

The breakfast of bread rolls left hanging in a plastic bag on the outside of your room door handle with sandwich spreads & meats that was left for you in the fridge due to the Dvořákova having no breakfast room for you to dine in was a little odd but it was still enjoyable to dine inside your room having your breakfast. The location for someone like me who has never been to Brno was just perfect. It was very easy to find your way back to the Dvořákova & you were literally next door or opposite a great bar (Který Neexistuje), a pub (Zelená Kočka Pivárium), a restaurant (U Třech Čertů), & a supermarket (Calivita) if you wanted to cook up a meal yourself. The WIFI worked very well. The bedding, tables, wardrobes, fridge, microwave oven, the tea/coffee making facility & the ensuite bathroom was all of a good quality standard. The receptionists when needed were helpful & made you feel welcome. I would have liked a television with some English speaking channels but there was no TV in the room. I could have done with a sharp kitchen knife for my breakfast bread rolls. A normal cutlery knife just doesn't slice up bread rolls very well. It should be made more clear when you book this place, the reception closes at 9pm! If you don't make prior arrangements with the receptionists before 9pm you will not be able to enter the Dvořákova because there is no one at the reception to let you in the building! :(

I love places with good breakfasts, that's one of them. There's nothing better than getting up and having (almost) everything you may want. There are sweet options, there are salty, fresh fruits, milk and plant-based alternatives (soy, cashew, last year there also was almond), even sparkling wine. The rooms are spacious, beds/sofa beds comfortable, kitchenette clean and greatly equipped, bathrooms nice and clean with nice green tea shampoos, gels, and body lotion. Minor inconveniences - lots of carpeting which attracts dust, even though the hotel is very clean, the dust sits deep down there and I had an allergic reaction; also - it can be a bit noisy there but nothing unbearable. If you're traveling by car - there's free parking and it's not far away from the city center. If you don't have a car, then it may be a bigger problem. The staff is nice, no problem with English.

The Park Hotel is a stunning villa in a lovely leafy area of Brno. We stayed here as it was close to where we needed to be in Brno, but it's not in the centre. If you walk over to Hlinky you can catch a No 1 tram into centre (takes about 10mins). Whilst the building is impressive, sadly the inside isn't unto the same standard and it is somewhat dated, especially the dining/breakfast room. We did eat here one night, and whilst the menu is very limited the food is actually good. Though, we weren't overly convinced about the breakfast offering. The rooms are comfortable enough, though the curtains would not pull across completely. The outside terrace is very elegant in the summer. The girl on reception was very friendly and helpful.
