These are strange times. It's even stranger the way Bohusgården have decided to cope with it. While many (if not most) hotels provides sanitizer gel throughout the premises, increase the cleaning regime, place disposal gloves at the buffet restaurants and offers key cards to minimise the spread of the virus. Bohusgården reduces the cleaning service and only clean rooms between guests, do not provide any disposable gloves in the restaurant and have standard physical keys for the rooms. This spa and conference hotel offers fantastic views over the fjord and the spectacular Uddevalla bridge is a maze of corridors and buildings where the newest additions offers high standard, super comfy and spacious rooms with very nice beds. Kids loved the free candy and ice cream at the buffet... The older wings are subject to refurbishment so ask for a new room. There is no shortage of conference rooms at the hotel (especially nowadays...) and the spa is a not to miss. Apart from several saunas and hot tubs (also outdoor) there is a huge indoor pool. The hotel is quite a walk uphill from the (mostly deserted) city centre and a car is a necessity to explore the fantastic coastal area west and north of the city.

Not sure if this is a hotel or not. Seemed as lots of the rooms are permanently occupied as offices for smaller companies, most of them with signs on the door. So it felt as living in an office building rather than a hotel. Guess the business idea is good enough though, but would recommend to put the office rental rooms in separate floors. On arrival the reception was empty. I rang the bell several times and after 5 mins someone came running and I managed to check in and get my key. On departure noone appeared. Luckily I payed for the stay during arrival though so I just left the key with a note. The rooms were old but ok. Got a feeling that maintenance was not their highest priority though. El cables coming out of the wall, most likely it has been connected to something once upon a time which no longer is there. The shower cabinet was hardly assembled. When I turned on the water in the sink I had to bang it with my hand to turn it off, was impossible to do it in a gentle way. Breakfast was ok though. Not many seats so you should get their early. But the food was good with an ok variety to choose from. Location is very good, within walking distance from city center. If you only need a bed to sleep in for ok price, this is an ok choice. If you want a hotel experience, I would strongly recommend to consider another hotel. Been there, done that. Don't think I will come back.

The Hotel Skona Rum is a quintessential old Swedish building, bags of character. Its surroundings, like much of Uddevalla has seen better times, the centre of town is approx. a five minute walk. As soon as you step inside the Hotel, the theme is everything nautical, Yachts, Portholes, Charts, everything is beautifully done and so the theme works. The first impression you get is the incredible standard of cleanliness, it is possibly the cleanest Hotel we have stayed in. We had a standard room, a reasonable size with a small Balcony (the only room with one) decoration was immaculate, beds were very comfortable. The Bathroom was a little small, but well appointed. Breakfast choice was excellent, again spotlessly clean. Car Parking is available at a small charge. Finally we must mention Paolo, our host, a young man who seems to do everything, friendly, informative and obviously passionate about the Hotel.

The first hotel is a chain, the first hotel to live in Bergen, I think it is very good, the key hotel has a sauna and gym, my husband likes it, breakfast is very good, European style breakfast , everything is there. The location is excellent, just above the train station, the train tracks can be seen directly from the hotel window, and the train timetable is directly visible from the hotel restaurant. The room is also quite spacious, the bathroom has a bathtub, there is also a kettle, shampoo, and the front desk service is also warm. Cost-effective, in short, stay here again next time you come.

The hotel is awesome, the rooms are large and very historical, it should belong to a good hotel in Gothenburg. The corridor is lined with parquet mosaics, which are particularly beautiful. Crossing a bridge leads to the town hall and a large shopping mall. Breakfast was average.

The breakfast is rich and suitable for traveling with children. There is also a small place for children to play in the hotel. The location of the hotel is also very good. It is only a 3-minute walk from the central station.

The hotel feels good overall, about fifteen minutes walk from the gallery. There are underground and above-ground parking lots. If you arrive at the hotel late, you can only stop underground. There are more than twenty parking spaces on it but they will also be full. Hotel breakfast is good, standard Western breakfast. The taste of the dinner was quite satisfactory, and I decided to go outside once after having eaten it.

On a business trip, it was very cold and it was a weekend. The hotel reception was very enthusiastic and helped us to move our luggage, especially the first floor small bar and the cake after 4 o'clock was very good and intimate. Breakfast is also very rich, will come again next time...

I took the children to Gothenburg and chose this Hotell Liseberg. It turns out that this is a good choice. The hotel is very close to the two favorite places of Liseberg Amusement Park and Universum, about 5-7 minutes walk. . The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, and I was impressed by Jenny and Mia, making us feel at home. There is a parking lot outside the hotel. It is very convenient to drive. It is also about 15 minutes walk from Central Station, and the traffic is convenient. The breakfast at the hotel is very fresh, although the variety is not particularly good, but the quality is very good. The hotel also has a microwave and ice machine for the convenience of the guests, very intimate. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the hotel's children's playroom, children can stay indoors and have a good time in the rain. Next time we come to Gothenburg, we will also choose to stay at this hotel.
