The resort was well equipped with a beautiful pool, great pool umbrellas and gardens. Amenities in the two bedroom apartment were good, comfy beds, great tv channels, however the poor couch had damaged springs on one seat which probably hadn’t been reported. The pressure in both showers was amazing and I liked the shampoo/conditioner and bath gel provided - it smelled lovely! Good to see a proper hairdryer too! The only thing we really had issue with was the rooms location. My bedroom faced onto the round driveway which was often a pickup point for travelers and an idle vehicle waiting area…..not good at night or morning for noise. We also had the rubbish bins at our doorstep which wasn’t pleasant. The other side of the apartment was nice though and the reception staff were helpful. Despite the minor issues we had, we would stay here again, just not in that particular room.

Ive seen a lot of reviews that say Imagine Drift is tired , well there right sort of. We have just returned from a great stay - room 2304 - yes the room is in its original condition yes the carpet is worn and may have had a small hole in it but The unit was prented in a very clean state and smelt fresh on arrival . Even thouigh we faced the street it was exceptionally quiet - did not hear a thing at night. The unit has everything you might possibly need : Full Kitchen , microwave, dishwasher , washing machine , clothes dryer , DVD , stereo system , safe , iron , comfy lounge , comfy verandah furniture and most importantly a comfy bed ! We had the 2 bedroom unit and whilst the second bedroom is a bit "diferent" it is perfect for families , for 2 couples probably not so comfortable . The best feature of the complex is undoubtably the pool - its huge and set in beautiful surrounds ! Likewise the jacuzzi/spa is also huge and a great temperature . I encountered 2 ladies on the front desk over our stay and both were impecable with their helpfulness and politeness - well done ! Located at the Southern end of Palm Cove - this resort is within easy walking of any restaurant in town and is right across the road from the beach - it also has loads of parking out the back and a good well equiped gym. Are there better hotels in Palm Cove ? Sure there would be , but you will pay for them , this hotel ticks every box many times over and if you only use the room to sleep etc -its perfect !Makes a perfect base to explore from . I'd have absolutley no qualms at all about staying at Imagine Drift again

We had a lovely 1bdrm apt. It would have been perfect if there were more drawers, and the shower wasn't inside the bath. For elderly guests, it could prove a challenge. But for us, it was modern and serviced every day of our 10day stay. Steve the room manager was attentive and professional, as were all the girls on the desk, with Natalie being our Accor person who was a wealth of knowledge. George in the restaurant gave us exceptional service, as did Lisa at breakfast. And Ben in the pool bar was great, the service would have been perfect except for staff shortages, the bar needed more than 1 staff member. The pools are very tired, but I believe they are being repaired at the months end. It would have been better if one was just adults only imo. Two of the 3 pools were extremely warm, only one was cool enough to be refreshing. It also is a great Wedding spot, as there were 3 weddings while we were there, but unfortunately, from 3 pm the pool bar and the pool closest to it was closed to guests, and from lunchtime, the removal of tables and chairs etc was a bit of an inconvenience. However, It's a great location right on the beach, but unfortunately March is stinger season! which meant all beaches were closed. It was a 40min drive to Port Douglas, 30 minutes to Yorkeys knob, and about 25mins from Cairns. We have no hesitation in staying there again, as I said the staff and our room were lovely. Thank you all.

Two of the six people stayed for 4 nights, the room was 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom, the space was big enough, the double bathroom, the laundry room, the kitchen utensils were very good, and the rice cooker sandwich machine coffee machine, etc., only salt and Black pepper seasoning, living 405, sea view is 100°, the downstairs swimming pool is beautiful, it is playing outside during the day, the morning scenery is beautiful, but I don’t know if it is a seasonal problem, the sea is not blue, black yellow black and yellow, And there are signs on the beach that there will be crocodiles infested, big winds and waves, the hotel has a lot of western restaurants to the beach, there are quite a lot of people in the evening, very quiet area, parking no money. Ok, let's talk about the point. Check in at 10 o'clock in the evening. No one is at the front desk but left the envelope with keys and garage remote control and check-in letter. They also called the front desk and told them that they had checked in. The next day, when I went out to play back, there was a wonderful event. The room was not cleaned. Of course it was not very dirty. The trash can was cleaned up, but two of the three bedrooms did not make a bed, and a plastic card was left to indicate: because the bed has Personal items are not arranged. If you need to clean up your personal belongings, it doesn't matter if I can understand it, but the third bedroom is to make a bed, but the children's pajamas are all thrown on the floor, this apartment is not Very new, the carpet is not so clean, because it is tropical, there is no quilt cover only the blanket, and the blanket is not washed regularly, the study room is particularly dirty, my friend has a small bag, it should be caused by mites, really It is disgusting for us. Because the next day is 10.1 and is also a public holiday in Australia, so I left a piece of paper indicating that no one is cleaning the day. I only need it on the 2nd. I need to clean the garbage myself. When they went to work on the 2nd, I went to the front desk to complain about this matter. The wording was quite polite, but the two ladies at the front desk were very impatient. It was impossible to tell me that personal belongings were thrown on the ground. I said that I have photos, you can Don't make a bed, but don't throw my things on the ground. And the room was not cleaned and the kitchen was stained. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly and said that it might be that she forgot to put it back, I will remind you. In addition, we do not provide cleaning, cleaning should be done by yourself, we only provide services! OK, ok, I am not a person who has never seen the world. We have not soiled the house, and the garbage is consciously cleaned up and recycled as required. But on the day of checkout, the front desk gave another card, meaning that you should dispose of the garbage when you left, and restore the room to a level that is so clean, otherwise it will charge 75 Australian dollars per hour. Cleaning fee. In fact, if you don't say it, I will restore the kitchen, but the one left and right one reminds you that you are not here to spend money to enjoy it. It is the feeling of coming here to work as if you are doing your ass. Maybe I am not comfortable with Australia's self catering apartment, so please record here for those who need or consider booking this apartment. In addition, driving to the Kuranda rainforest is very close, but it is still 25 minutes to go to Cairns, not so close, there are several restaurants around, try Thai food, ok, not authentic but also suitable for Chinese taste. The location is not convenient for pick-up and drop-off of various scheduled events, so be sure to pay attention.

Marlin Cove (In Trinity Beach) is located about 20min from Cairns Airport driving. Check in was easy (even though I didn't realise they shut at 5pm and arrived a little after), finding the apartment was easy (although it took awhile to find the carpark that went with the apartment as its not in front of it). 2 Bedroom Apartment: Nice spacious clean apartment (Queen and 2 singles), bathroom and ensuite were great sizes and clean. Lovely kitchen with fridge microwave, stove and dishwasher. Washer and dryer which is always great. Bonus of having Netflix which was great. Not block out blinds in bedrooms, so you do wake earlier. Bed was a little firm for my liking. Lovely and quiet overnight and throughout the day. Only sounds were birds. Facilities: Lagoon pool is beautiful, lap pool as well for anyone wanting to swim strokes and exercise. Sauna. Tennis Court (only issue for us was we wanted to play later in the day when it was cooler, but the reception is closed). Games room with table tennis, pool, a few games machines and air hockey. Other: 10min drive to major shopping centre (has Event cinema plus Coles, Woolies, Kmart and lots of smaller stores), 10min walk to a local shopping area with a supermarket, bakery, post office, Take away food and medical services.

This was not our first stay at the Seachange as we did book 2 yrs ago in March 2020 but could only stay the one night due to COVID lockdowns occurring nationally between states and had to fly back to Adelaide the next day. This time no COVID issues. Booked initially for 6 nights but extended to 9 nights as we just loved the Seachange. Apartment well appointed with everything you would need. Rooftop balcony great and also well set up for relaxing and enjoying views while having a BBQ. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful when booking trips or asking about local attractions. Looking at coming back again later this year for another holiday.
