|2.86km from city centerI had a great time in Ding Dong Hostel - Room was comfy, the hostel very well designed what gives it some local atmosphere and was kept clean during all my stay. Staff is helpful and gave me some useful tips about salsa clases around. This charming neigborhood placed in a central place in Cali is surprisingly tranquil. It is a bargain for what you pay! Good Value

|4.96km from city centerWhen you show up you're pleasantly greeted by a security door you have to be buzzed in to enter. At this point you're probably realizing you made a mistake. It gets better when the attendant is rude and seems like she's very unhappy to see you or any ”guest”. Hotel has ridiculous policies like leaving the key at the front desk when you leave for ”security” purposes. Terrible. If you like hearing ambulances and police cars pass frequently this is the place for you. Barely luke warm water in the shower. On the bright side the shower and bathroom look nice. The room is a good size (I had the Junior Suite) and some of it looks nice. AC works well. The bed is two single beds put together -real classy. Built in ”desk” seemed like it would break if I leaned on it at all. Desk chair is absolutely un-sittable, as is the rock couch in the living room. Nice that there is a mini kitchen, but no plates, silverware, pans, etc provided. They give you two whole glasses. Really would avoid this place.

I checked in yesterday and planned to stay one night but so very pleased with the staff and the room that I decided to extend my stay for a few more days. The only negative is that the hotel needs some loving care, all the important things that need to work in a hotel are operational but just needs attention to small things here and there, like repairing the 2 ceiling fans above the exercise eqipment. Yep that's the bad but this is completely overshadowed by the great staff, the rooms are very very clean dare to say spotless, hats off to the lady that cleaned my room 510 this afternoon, I left in a hurry and she got everything looking organized and again spotless. I spent 3 hours in the pool today and in the exercise room, although the equipment is dated and a few tiles are missing around the pool area everything is operational and the pool itself is well cared for, very clean water, great day to relax and enjoy. I liked the free parking in a completely secure area next to the hotel. The breakfast, which is included, is basic but fresh and tasty and good coffee. The only reason why I can't give 5 stars is that the hotel is dated. I give the staff with it's great friendly customer service 10 stars if I could. The wifi can be a little spotty at times but hey I am submitting this review from the hotels wifi so it works. I paid 82.000 pesos for my room, I am solo, this in my opinion is a great value. The staff are really cool and friendly. I travel all through Colombia and I stay in more hotels than I can remember but must admit what a nice group of people to interact with here. The rooms are huge! Yes I recommend and I will absolutely stay again on my next visit to Cali.

|4.25km from city centerI have visited this location in Sept 2020 during the pandemic situation. The hotel and rooms needs some love and care, but I guess that is standard for Cali so I will not review this property based on this issue. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for central travel . The rates were very low but that must to have been due to the pandemic situation. Their fitness area has just enough equipment to get a decent work out in or do your morning cardio. The food was very basic but again I haven’t experience it when the hotel would operate normally without the COVID regulations. In general this is a location would fit a stay if you come to visit for work it business and you really don’t need any amenities or services at your place of stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists who want to enjoy and experience Cali. I don’t know If I would stay here again on my return.

The nite food service very slow 1.5 hour wait. Pool was great but freezing. After 9 pm no one was wearing masks in lobby I was scared! The pizza was great in the other restaurant ****** was fun but machine took money and I didn’t get credits. No refund The chocolate cake was great . The cleaning service was great plenty of towels . It was very hard to get to entrance and parking from a car I didn’t think it was worth the money

|4.27km from city centerWe arrived very early in the morning before our check in so we asked the staff for an early check in. But we ended up getting checked in half an hour late because our rooms weren't ready. The staff were very rude after we complained saying that check in is at 3:30pm instead of 3pm even though they said 3pm earlier in the day. This was very poor service considering staff saw us waiting in the lounge for over 4 hours. Each room had an extra double bed so not sure what happened to our original booked rooms. The rooms were clean but outdated. The remote to the air conditioning didn't work in one room and the bedside lamp stopped working after 1 day. However the staff at the restaurant were friendly and the food breakfast buffet was okay and the lunch menu was very nice.

The Chef is one of the best around (I visited more than 20 rest in 3 months), and convenient / safe location...Is just a supper choice to stay. The gym can improve, and the rooms just need a little touch, but are very spacious, good quality, and very confortable.

The Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Manager (see photo) are always very engaged with the guests to make sure everyone receives the highest quality meals with great personal and friendly service. Cali Marriott is a great venue for business lunches or corporate meetings, we've held many family events here. The property is clean, safe and secure, with staff always around to assist with any need. Front desk team is one of the best, quick and friendly check-in, and responsive to any requests during your stay. Housekeeping always does a wonderful job and services the room based on our schedule, and always says hello with a smile when they see us in the hallways. The Executive Lounge is one of our favorites, drinks, wide selection of food including soups, meat/seafood/chicken and dessert, and always fresh sushi. Very convenient hotel location, and the hotel's professional drivers are available at the entrance to transport you in their modern air conditioned comfortable vehicles, we use them frequently. |4.88km from city centerThis hotel is located on a VERY busy street; luckily, they have a private garage. The rooms are super small for a party of two. So small that they improvised a closet with two pieces of wood in the corner of the room. The beds are SUPER uncomfortable. You literally feel like you are sleeping on the floor. Our first night, we contacted the front desk at 2 a.m. to complain about the beds and to request another room, and they confirmed that all beds are the same and that they have received plenty of complaints about the same thing. The buffet breakfast was a joke. Cold food, no flavor, and not enough variety—I will not recommend this hotel and will definitely not stay there again!

I had spent several days at a higher priced hotel nearby and then moved to Obelisco and found I enjoyed the Ovelisco much more. It is very economical with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I didn’t go to the pool at all but the breakfast was a nice touch. This is a high quality hotel at a price you can afford. My only gripe is the need to sign up ahead of time for the pool and sauna. This is just silly and inconvenient for guests.

|5.79km from city centerNH Cali Royal is a high quality hotel although the price is very accessible and much lower that one would expect. The bedroom was very large and comfortable. I slept perfectly every night 5 star hotel room at 3 star prices. The restaurant staff are amazing and helpful at all times. This applies to the front desk staff as well. The only negative thing was that the safe in my room was unuseable. I reported this but no one fix it during my stay. There was also a large crack in one of the windows.
