We returned last Saturday after a wonderful stay at the Sellada Beach Hotel. I actually came back with a suntan which is unlike me as I tend to keep out of the sun. The weather was fantastic, the beach was literally 3 steps from the hotel, great free sun beds with comfy foam bases and a parasol. Of the 8 days we were there we spent 6 days on the beach which also has free WiFi. Drinks and food can be ordered and brought to you at the beach as there is also a table, and Costas one of the waiters makes several trips in the hour to serve. There is no hard sell he is there if you need him. The hotel itself has a modern front and bar area, the rooms are roomy, comfy and very clean. The staff are attentive and by the time you leave you feel you have known them all your life. Now I must mention the star of the show Maria she is very proud of her business and this is best seen through her cooking and that of her staff. The breakfast is typical continental with a Greek theme good variety and plenty of it, on top of this is the bonus of Maria’s home cooked pastry’s, they are to die for We will definitely be returning to this treasure of Perissa Thank you Mr & Mrs Sweeny

We wanted a cheap break and found this last minute deal to santorini. We were really pleased with the accommodation. The hotel is small but has everything you need and the staff are all so lovely and friendly. The room again was small but comfortable and clean. The room was cleaned and towels changed every day. We also had a small balcony. I am 25 weeks pregnant and found the bed comfy 👍🏽 It’s located about 2 mins walk from the beach and restaurants etc. The sun loungers were comfy and the pool was a nice temperature and perfect to cool down. You could get a ham and cheese toastie for 2 euro from the pool bar, which was open until late. You can also borrow beach towels and there is a washing machine you can use for free so it’s perfect for backpackers/ travellers. If I was on a bigger budget than I’d personally prefer to stay somewhere that has a bath, but for the money we spent it exceeded our expectations.

My boyfriend and me stayed for a week in Villa vergina and it was really amazing. Everything was perfect, the location is just one minute away from the beach and the restaurants. The Villa is a very beautiful white greek style with a very good swimming pool. The room was also very good and clean, with a fridge, tv, extra pillows and hairdryer. Wifi connexion was good everywhere in the villa and room. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of food ! But the best was Voula, she was very kind, informative, helpful and we laughed so much with her. She really cares that everything is good. We were very sad to leave, if i ever come back to Santorini i will stay again here.

We expected Perissa to be somehow a copy of Kamari, which we knew from before. But it isn't. Although Kamari in general might be more upscale, it is quite synthetic. On the contrary - Perissa and especially the Perivolos part have kept a lot of original Greek charme. Veggera is one of the best hotels in the town, cosy and clean. A lot has been said against the subterrain rooms, but it might not be a wrong decision as thus you stay protected from the heat. OK, you can use the aircondition a bit more, but we like to turn it off during the night. As we had a maisonette and those are direct under the roof it was nt always possible. But by themselves, the maisonettes are very nice and we were satisfied. Half-board is served and not an unreasonable choice if you stay for for just one week or less. During the pandemics the breakfast was served too and it was rich enough. A small grocery shop is also there, just a couple of steps from the reception. Sunbeds are free. Entering he sea is somewhat troublesome as someone got the unlucky idea to "alleviate" it wigh conrete, but due to a thin layer of algae that concrete is now very slippery. Due to pandemics there is no regular daily room cleaning, just on request, but you can request ir every day. Probably due to the low number of tourists the coastal street/promenade was not closed for vehicles even in the evenig and this was a bit disturbing. Most restaurants and pubs are open, but they run quite on empty. You can rent a car from the help of the reception or in the town - the prices are the same. You wil all visit Fira and Oia, but take also a trip to Emporio, a non-touristic traditional village, which is very close.

It is only 3-5 minutes from the cool black beach of Perissa, one of the nicests all over the island. This is a small hotel run by very nice people. The room is just the pefect size, comfortable for two people, and has a big terrace (we had room no. 1) where you can just sit and relax in the evenings. It is very clean, towels are changed every day. Breakfast is perfect, delicious, and they serve big portions ;o) Perfect choice if you are looking for a place close to the beach.

Just come back from a week in perissa. The hotel was very accommodating, we had requested a room on the 1st floor. There wasn't one available for 2 nights but we moved from a lovely ground floor room 2, to an even better room 10 upstairs for the rest of our stay, this room had a nice seating area outside and a lovely 4 poster bed. The rest of the rooms upstairs have their own jacuzzi and their own sunbeds. But we were not left out as the little hotel had a jacuzzi and sun lounger area that we used every day which was very private and had sun all day. Anthena was very helpful and always on hand, her breakfast were amazing. Only 2 things they could change would be to have proper orange juice, and one umbrella for the upstairs next to the jacuzzi. But 100% great holiday.

Straight to the point: Pros: - about 10 mins drive from the airport - located in the middle of Santorini so about 10mins drive to Thera (Fira) and about 20 mins drive to Oia - 3 mins drive or 7mins walks to local amenities such as supermarkets and restaurants where it is a lot cheaper than places in Fira and Oia. - very friendly staff - especially to Girogios (front desk) and Anna (facilities). They always wore facemasks and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly in line with Covid19 safety measures. It was also contactless check in. - generous breakfast served to your room everyday. You can change your breakfast to different styles and have it delivered to your room. - clean rooms and housekeeping is available upon request (due to Covid19 they have reduced it from daily) - room sizes are actually a lot bigger than what you will get in Oia and Fira so very happy with this. Cons: - the villa can be quite hard to find using google maps - its not on the main road as you have enter a side road turning into a residential area so be mindful on that. It took us a while to find it. - the pictures shown when booking are very deceiving, so don't think you are getting a pool and a jacuzzi. It is one or the other. The pictures advertised are not in line with the type of room you book so please double check. You may end up selecting a type of room based on the pictures shown but actually get a different room like we did. Staff seem to be aware of this as when we mentioned it to them it is as if they have heard it before. - not fully 'private' as the pictures - you can see your fellow neighbours depending where you stand in your villa - something that I didn't like when swimming. The suites are one big building block with villas wall to wall and floor to ceiling, i.e. you will have neighbours on your left/right and/or above and below depending on which floor you are on (ground, middle and up). - hiring a car/ATV (like a quad bike) is highly recommended because of the location it is not easy walking around. In santorini there is not much space for walking on roads and it can be risky at night when there is not much street lighting. The roads can be steep at times so not so good for the knees. Taxis can be expensive so you are better off hiring a car like we did which is so much easier to get around (make sure you get insurance to reduce your excess as the roads are bumpy at places!) Overall, I am happy with my stay and it is a lot more reasonable price than staying in Oia and Fira where the rooms are a lot smaller and cramped. I just wish I had the info I mentioned above so I could manage my expectations a lot better.

The location is super good, and the scenery of Aegean Sea and Volcano Island is very good. You can walk to the city center in five minutes. Outside the room is the swimming pool. The water is hot all day and the water is clean. The owner's service was very good. Two small bottles of sparkling wine were placed in the ice bucket. The breakfast is also very delicious. You need to fill in a breakfast list. The next day he will make it for you. The hotel provides a taxi service, but the bus stop is also relatively close to the hotel itself, and there are cars to reach popular attractions. If you want to save money and not hurry, the bus is a very good choice (it is not cheap to call a taxi or taxi on the island, relatively speaking, the bus is cheap, about 2 euros per person, depending on where you go).

There is always much speculation about what constitutes a 5* hotel. Some claim amenities - others service. One thing that is not in doubt is that the newly opened Nikki Beach Resort in Monolithos, Santorini is well deserving of the accolade on every level. Although not entirely finished on our visit, the attention to detail is a salutary lesson to other resorts. Our Signature room was beautifully appointed - great understated furnishings, comfy, big bed, cute little private courtyard with pool. However, the real magic happens poolside! Stunning area with matching vistas over the sea. As the restaurant is literally next to the pool, you can lazily roll from dining (not to be missed - breakfast is an event) to a double-sun lounger, where your every whim will be catered for. There is music around the pool throughout the day, sometimes building up to a crescendo of Techno (not really my taste and a little bit too loud) by 5pm. One day, we were treated to a sax player and dancer performing on top of the bar by the pool which was a fantastic spectacle. The food is wonderful, with an eclectic mix of styles and served with a smile. The service is perhaps where this lovely hotel excels - I wish I could name every person who contributed to our happiness, but unfortunately, I cant remember all their names. The manager, Menia was professional, helpful and a delight. Pavlos (reception) appeared to spend 24 hours a day ensuring everyone was satisfied - and he certainly kept us extremely content. Georgia treated us like long-lost relatives every time we appeared by the pool or in the restaurant - we wanted to adopt her and bring her home. And Anastasia our wonderful and attentive waitress. Also, our Tommy Fury lookalike pool attendant who could possibly be the happiest man alive! Not forgetting our double act cleaners (wish I could remember their names), one spoke very good English and had us laughing every morning. In short, this trip was memorable due to a wealth of contributing factors - so much so, my girlfriend and I have booked in for next May. Nikki Beach...thank you.

We stayed at Omma Santorini for 6 nights in Sept and just loved everything about it. The views are extraordinary! The area is quiet and a wonderful reprieve from the onslaught of tourists that come in on the cruises ships every day and overcrowd the tiny walkways of Fira and Oia. What impressed me most was the high level of service we received there. The staff went over and above in all areas. Dina, one of the managers, sets the example for her staff by being sincerely helpful, caring and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was generous and made to order. We felt like we were in heaven and would have loved to stay there longer. A few caveats: Regarding the rooms: Some of the rooms claim to be caldera/ocean view. However, from the rooms themselves, the caldera/ocean is not really visible. I would not pay up for an ocean view. Some rooms have a roof deck with views. We did not go up on any of the roofs, but walking a few feet out of the rooms towards the pool for extraordinary views of the caldera. The location: the resort on the rim of the caldera, but is in a very remote area. The remoteness makes this resort quiet and relaxing, but has a few drawbacks. All dining, except for at the OMMA and a few other nearby resorts, is at a distance and the dining options are not walkable in the dark. The cost of taxis ran us over $75/day. Renting a car is might help, but beware because the roads are treacherous, locals drive very fast and tourists drive ATVs like lunatics. There is also no parking lot near the resort. So, just budget extra for transportation. The breakfast is delicious, but the dinners are only so,so. The dining area has no protection from the cold evening winds that make it uncomfortable to sit outside and the food comes out cold or cools very quickly. The menu is also expensive considering the middling quality. If they brought in a top chef and added wind protection, they could do very well servicing the guests in this remote area of the island. Despite these minor drawbacks we would stay there again without reservation. The resort is new, so perhaps they will improve the dinners and add wind protection around the restaurant next season. I know the staff works hard to make the OMMA experience perfect for their guests and will do whatever is necessary to make guests have a perfect stay.

In June 2019 I was allowed to spend 10 days in this hotel. The room was decorated with warmth and I quickly felt at home. The beach is a few meters away, where I met black sand, which I saw for the first time and it was a very nice experience. The hotel complex is very nice, there is a big pool available, where I could try great homemade cocktails from the bar all day long and was provided with snacks. The breakfast and dinner were to my complete satisfaction and the staff took good care of their guests. The hotel organised great trips by boat and up the volcano for me. I had a great and unforgettable time at Mediterranean White! I am looking forward to spending my holiday in Santorini again soon in this hotel.
