|10.26km from city centerOur family was here for almost a month of our time in Vung Tau and were sad to go. We were treated like family during or stay and the staff was very helpful with providing information, giving us directions to places, and letting us borrow their motorbikes to ride around on. I really don’t have anything bad I could say. The location is great, on a cute quiet street not far from the beach, parks, foreign food store, restaurants, and cafes. The expat community here is really chill too. Fresh produce is abundant and there is also a big grocery store within a short driving distance. The room was clean and the we were able to do laundry easily as well. I would recommend a stay here for anyone. Whether you are traveling alone, with a partner, or a family they will give you a warm welcome and help with anything you want or need.

- The swimming pool on the mountain view is better than the 98 PCT.
- Friendly and welcoming staff. Every breakfast order is sorry (because the delivery of the shift is not clear)
- The room is clean, always fragrant. Fully equipped.
- Hot and cold water faucet: the water flow is not stable, maybe due to the pumping support, so when taking a bath, it is hot and cold. Be careful because it will be very hot sometimes, if children take a bath themselves, you should consider adults to adjust the temperature.

|10.37km from city centerWe usually stayed at 4* hotels but chose this particular 3* hotel because all rooms have seaview and the new ownership had done a lot to improve it. We were very happy with our choice and our stay. It was a nice surprise since the price was very reasonable for a nice beach front hotel. The premises is very clean inside out, and has an inviting entrance. The staff was very nice and helpful. We booked one of the 6 beautiful waterfront rooms with a spectacular view of the beach. The room is large and has high ceiling, therefore the air conditioner was not able to cool it. All the dishes served at the breakfast buffet was excellent. We also tried room service and all dishes were authentically good. The beach is amazing! White sand, firm and flat surface, and very long. We walked for two hours. Excellent and inexpensive fresh seafood on the beach side, on the left side of the hotel on the beach. We recommend this excellent budget hotel to all and will definitely stay at this hotel again next time.

|10.17km from city centerWe stayed for 4 nights and I’m happy this was my first accommodation in Vietnam. The room was basic but clean. Ours had no windows and we received a complementary upgrade when we requested one that did. The staff were helpful and translated and interpreted for us when required. The hotel has a security shutter which comes down around midnight and can only be opened from the inside by hotel staff. Although I had to shout loudly and repeatedly on one night to wake up the night staff, I was let in with no bad grace. Recommend the Russian coffee shop a few doors to the R (As you face the hotel exit.)

|7.57km from city centerWhen searching this hotel I seen some really good reviews and some really bad reviews. The bad reviews almost pushed me away from booking this hotel but, after a lot of thought I decided why not.
My total experience here was really pleasant. The hotel was across the street from the beach and practically a hop,skip and jump to it. The room was really nice with a fantastic view of the beach. Room was nice,cozy and comfortable. I really didn’t notice any noises coming from the outside. The wait times for the elevator was less then 30 seconds. As for the breakfast buffet it’s a bit crowded if you go during breakfast peak times. Food wasn’t bad at all. Staff was friendly and helpful. One thing I liked is after checkout they let me leave my bags in the lobby so I could explore more before I went back to Saigon. On the ***** there isn’t many restaurants but that was ok because on the beach or the restaurant had what I needed and I could also use grab food delivery if wanted. There was also cable tv in the room which I didn’t watch much but used it more for background noise. They had many channels in English and Vietnamese including HBO. All in all a pleasant experience. They also allowed me to check in early.

|8.74km from city centerI can tell that the owner of this hotel not only invested huge money but made it with lot of love.. to start with the staffs are welcoming and ready to help always.. the hotel is built in medieval European style.. most furnitures are pure wood including the lift interior.. most importantly they are still shining.. the room is bigger size than I expected seeing the pictures while booking.. the bed was high and amazingly comfortable.. the ambience of the room is princely.. the washroom was dry and had a nice bathtub with a separate shower area.. all amenities were available as in 5* hotels.. we booked one night initially but liked the hotel so much that we extended one more night.. opposite to the hotel across the road.. the hotel has their private pool and private beach.. they give u discount voucher for their restaurant.. surprisingly the seafood Resturant was cheaper and tastier than other seafood restaurant that we went on 2nd day.. lottee mall is close by the hotel and mini mart and massage parlour is just walking distance.. overall everything u get at ur convenience.. thanks to the wonderful staff for making our stay so comfortable.. we would come back again..

Вообще если по погоде ветер, то лучше выберите что-то на другой стороне острова. Там более комфортно будет с детьми.
В шаговой доступности супермаркет, на крыше ресторан, не далеко дискобар. На достопримечательности лучше брать мотобайк.

|8.4km from city centerWow! What an amazing experience. The Malibu Hotel is the best hotel that I've stayed in in Vietnam. We had a business trip there in early March 2023. Everything was exemplary and all 65 staff members agreed. I will briefly share what makes this hotel so amazing: 1) Customer Service: A huge shout out to Ms. Bella from The Malibu. She made organisation of our trip smooth and was extremely detail-orientated. Additionally, Mr. Dat ensured that our Gala dinner was a memorable experience. Both Ms. Bella and Mr. Dat were extremely transparent about budget and pricing, double-checking every expense with our team before it was processed. The best customer service that I've received in Vietnam in 7 years. 2) The food: The food is incredible and very fairly priced. I stayed in the hotel in early 2022 and they have maintained the high standard since then. Well done to the kitchen staff at The Malibu. The best I've had in Vietnam. 3) Public spaced: The Malibu has a wonderful pool & lounge area. Servers were punctual and pleasant. 4) Comfy beds: The rooms & beds fit those of a 4/5 star hotel. No issues here whatsoever. It might be nice if they had a balcony. 5) Location: Wonderful location near the major roundabout in Vung Tau. A short walk to the beach. Fantastic!

When I unpacked and opened the curtains, I was surprised had had a view of the back parking lot and I was only on the second floor. Other that that room was fine. Breakfast is not great.

My room is located at the end of the block, so the hot part of the air conditioner is a bit noisy, my room only has 1 thin blanket so it's a bit cold. Stayed until the second day, the toilet was unable to drain the water, so there was a receptionist but it was not handled. Overall, it's very good, the Tet price is a bit high but still ok

We were impressed with the nice design of the resort, the stunning view, and the facilities it has. The room was clean and very spacious in a green landscape that could make you feel at ease. What created the value of our trip was the high-quality service we received from each of the resort team members. They know their resort well and introduce to us in a manner that gave full information on what to do, what to eat and where to go…and so on. It is worth noting that we got a good deal booking our room online and we were happy with that which went equally with how much we paid. Overall, this is a nice hotel with well-maintained facilities suitable for a relaxing getaway or just simply a hideaway. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

It is equivalent to a master bedroom and a second bedroom. The hotel is very close to the pier, 5 minutes by taxi. Then the 5 of us rented motorcycles directly at the front desk of the hotel for 200k a day, which was 60 RMB. Driving a motorcycle in Vung Tau was so cool! !

|9.59km from city centerThis is a popular hotel located along the sea front of Vung Tau. Very popular at weekends with people escaping the heat of Ho Chi Minh. I recommend you go mid week if you can as you get a much better rate. Breakfast is a large buffet affair mainly catering for locals (Baby Oyster Porridge) but every day they got me up an excellent omelette. My room was quite large with good Air Conditioning About 400 metres from Green Hotel is the Night Market that does excellent/cheap seafood (6 Tiger Prawns BBQ 5$). Sea front is just across the road (Deck Chair 2$) Bus from backpacker District is 4$ one way. This is a 2.5 hour bus ride to Vung Tau, when you get to the bus station a smaller bus will take you to the hotel (in the 4$ price) However i strongly recommend if at all possible you get a day light trip on the Hydrofoil from HCM to Vung Tau as its just 90 minutes and the views are spectacular. (10$ one way if i remember right). So Weather is almost as hot as HCM but it doesnt feel it because of a constant see breeze. Vung Tau is a really pleasant/chilled place. I recommend you rent a scooter (hotel has them) and cruise around the headland (as many other people seem to do).

If you have that rule, please inform in booking email in advance! I even wore the swimsuit not normal shirt! I’m staying at B14.03 on 29/4/2023 When I talk to staff at the front desk (18:15, 29/4/2023), her attitude toward me is unacceptable!!! Is that because I’m younger than her or else? Her answer was not what I expected from a 4 star hotel! We need answer and solution, not ask for sympathy! Believe me! You never encounter any rudeness like this from any other international hotel brands (IHG, Melia, Accord,..) Many thanks! I worked as a travel agency in Vietnam with reasonable price! |10.13km from city centerI returned to Vung Tau and chose Dmelin as my favorite hotel. Dmelin is the best hotel I've ever been to in terms of service. The staff here are really enthusiastic. At the same time I checked in, there was a girl with her mother, her mother had to use a wheelchair. The entire staff here helped take her from the car to the wheelchair and pushed her up to her room. I've been to 5-star hotels but have never seen this. The staff is always enthusiastic and welcoming to guests, the room quality is always clean. That's why when I come to Vung Tau, I will always choose Dmelin
