I've never stayed in a hotel room before that provided a hot water bottle for its guests! That is the level of attention to detail in this small budget hotel, located in the center of town with easy walking access to all of the main attractions. We rented a superior double room that was quite comfortable, with a very good mattress, plenty of good pillows, and located toward the back of the hotel, which meant absolutely no street noise. Unfortunately the hotel still tended to be noisy because guests got back to their rooms at all hours of the night and the insulation was not sufficient to buffer the sound. That's the reason why we would not stay there again, despite the fact that the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly and the hotel impeccably clean. It's really nobody's fault -- just a structural problem in this old building. If you are a sound sleeper and not sensitive to noise in the middle of the night then by all means stay there -- it's really a great bargain and a wonderful place.

this place is probably owned by the owner of the lebanese restaurant downstairs ... The rooms are very very tired, the flooring is old and cranky and the appliances are like I had in the 3rd world countries, Kenya and Ethiopia or 20y ago in Russia! The mattress is good, and sheets are clean, but the rooms are suceptible to noise from the hallway and that is most likely what will wake u up... hotel should cvlose for renovation!

Stayed with 11 other colleagues and we booked 3 of the family rooms. Check in was quick and we really liked that it is a great location. The rooms were spacious except the shower has glass doors so you can see a silhouette of whoever is inside it - not very good, at least for me, as we were staying with two other make co-worker and we had to ask them to leave the room if we were using the bathroom. Nonetheless, they have a beautiful terrace which makes it cool for our male companions to hangout :) The kitchen is really spacious as well. Overall, it was such a great stay!

The room is a surprise. Warm orange tones send an instant welcome and haven from the cold outdoors. The reception is tiny but no matter. The room makes up for it. The lighting is indirect and a bit low for reading but adds to the relaxation. The breakfast is unexpectedly sumptuous with a variety of organic juices and gluten free options added to regular fare. Compared favourably with any 5-star breakfast. Place is very quiet. It was only at breakfast that I realised most rooms were occupied. Liked the details of faux stained glass on stairway windows. Also it is on bus route 8 from stn and a ten min walk into the heart of the restored old town centre and shopping. So, if you have a choice go for it!

Liked · The balcony has a view of the main square- absolutely stunning! The rooms are very clean and spacious. Location is right in the center of the city. Disliked · When we first arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes at reception before one of the managers could come check us in (we had to call the hotel phone). Then, one of the staff members thought it was appropriate to come sit right next to our group on the balcony. He and two other men sat (almost on top of us!) and started smoking and playing loud music and yelling. It was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. At first, we thought they were also guests. But then, he took the patio hose and started to SPRAY US. We were having drinks and talking! It was my birthday. But this rude man decided to spray us and "clean the patio" and smoke in our faces. We stayed and played our own music and they eventually left. But it was incredibly upsetting. The bathroom in our room had frosted glass...but it was very thin and you could basically see the other person using the restroom and bathing. It was uncomfortable.

I needed to find a hotel in the middle of the Wiesbaden business district and not pay standard outlandish price for it. A friend recommended the Hotel Alexander. What I found was a hotel dead center in the middle of the business area, private parking, a comfortable room with all the amenities and a price about 25% below what I expected to pay. I certainly would recommend it for anyone.

We were so surprised by this wonderful hotel! Don’t let the outside fool you: inside it is a totally different world. The lounges in the lobby are so cosy and warm, with different corners full of comfy chairs and sofas. The bar is fantastic too and we had a great dinner in the patio garden. The best thing for us was that we did not need to go anywhere else for dinner. For us this was a hotel on the way home and because of its location outside of the centre we thought we might have to drive into town for restaurants. But because the bar and restaurant in the hotel were so nice and atmospheric we just had to roll out of our room for some great cocktails and juicy burgers. So convenient!! Room was lovely too, big king size bed and modern bathroom. Could stream Netflix from my phone to the television: so nice! Breakfast was also nice and considering the whole COVID situation very smartly done with everything in individual glass jars or on packaged plates. Definitely would stay here again!!

Lanhaus Diedert is a very charming accomodation in a traditional country style. There is loads of parking available. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. The bathroom unfortunately only had a bath tub without any shower cutain etc, which made showering a bit of a challenge. The breakfast buffet had a limited choice but was still good (taking the price into account). Overall very recommendable if you want to stay county style in a relaxed atmoshere.

Had a great stay at this hotel. Staff is all very friendly and personable, especially for non-German speaking visitors. It’s an old school feel/ modern convenience hotel (down to the actual keys for room but good Wi-Fi). Breakfast is best value at 5€ with the room and will prepare eggs to order. Love ending the night at the nook bar drinking locally made cider from a farmer nearby. This is a true German hotel, so Americans- know it doesn’t have the type of central air you may think of. But we stayed very cool/ comfortable in our rooms.

A very nice little hotel in Erbenheim. It is very clean and the staff is excellent. You can have a complete breakfast for a small fee but it is well worth it. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Wiesbaden area. The entire staff is friendly and will go out of their way for you. When we return to Wiesbaden, we sill plan on staying at the Hotel Toskana.

I booked 5 rooms in this hotel via hotels.com. When we arrived, they had only held two of the five. Quite clearly not the customer's fault. And yet, I was made to wait over half an hour with business clients whilst other guests were checked in and the Wifi router was restarted. I was obviously an irritation. The hotel was fully booked save for one room. So I booked this room so that my three clients could stay here whilst I and a colleague found somewhere else. In the morning, one of my clients told me that they had been charged €169 for their room, despite the original rooms - 'lost' by the hotel being booked at €129. Despite direct requests and requests via hotels.com, the hotel has not confirmed whether they have taken, or intend to take the full 5-room amount that was reserved on my credit card. Throughout the whole ordeal, I and my clients were given no sense of the hotel treating this unfortunate incident with any urgency. Possibly not surprising as there was a staff of 2 people, one of whom seemed very inexperienced, to check people in, work the bar and restart faulty wifi routers. Its a brand new hotel, yes, but from a Holiday Inn I would expect far more. And as far as the customer service is concerned, the staff and said hotel chain should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

We made reservations for 2 rooms for 3 nights - and had requested that the rooms be connecting. I emailed the hotel a few months before arrival asking about the connecting rooms - they were very responsive and assured me they would do all they could to accommodate us. -- When we finally arrived for check-in, we were overjoyed to see that we did indeed have connecting rooms (1 king bed room and 1 room with 2 twins). It was a tight squeeze with a roll-away bed in each room, but the 6 of us managed just fine. The whole experience there - from check-in to check-out - was great and easy! Staff was very helpful and friendly (recommended a few local restaurants and things to do). Parking was free and on-site. Wi-fi was free and fast. Hotel was clean. Housekeeping was also very thorough and we always came back to clean and tidied rooms. We ordered a meal at the bar one evening (restaurant was already closed but we could still get food at the bar). Bar tender was very friendly - and the food was cooked just as we requested (burger and a steak) - tasted great! Location was great for us. There is a shopping center (with groceries) across the street; there are also several restaurants within walking distance. We also went to Superfly across the street and had a great time! Will I stay here again? Hands-down YES. I suspect our family will travel back up to Wiesbaden in the next few years and we hope to stay here again and again. A big THANK YOU to all of the staff - especially Ruzica who helped with our rooms and check-in.

This hotel is in a beautiful area on the Mainz side of the river. Very close to Kurpark and the old town area. The staff were very nice, the room clean and very comfortable. Parking is limited. Covered parking is 12euro per night, otherwise free. Breakfast is good. Please note, the breakfast bars are split between 2 rooms. However, this is not an inconvenience. There is also an elevator. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 1 night in October. The check-in experience was a bit dramatic, as upon arrival they declared they were not accepting guests from ‘high risk’ Covid areas such as London. We eventually managed to check-in once we were able to prove that we had been residing in a ‘low risk’ area of Germany for the past 8 days. However, I was a bit peeved that they waited until we arrived to casually inform us of this (the booking had been made months in advance, and they could see our home address was in London). Surely they should have been going out of their way to inform any guests who wouldn’t be permitted to stay well in advance of their arrival! Once checked-in, things went smoothly. It is a new hotel, and noticeably higher specced than some other Best Western properties I have stayed at. We had booked their highest level room – the ‘Apartment’ – which had a separate living area with pull-out sofa bed, a kitchenette, and an absolutely massive rooftop terrace (although no view unfortunately). We enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning, which again was better than expected for a Best Western, and included a number of hot items. Parking was in the basement of the hotel and was chargeable (can’t remember the daily rate, but it wasn’t cheap). Overall, a pleasant stay that exceeded expectations - check-in drama aside.

We stayed for 2 nights prior to a Rhine River Cruise, and were pleased with our small accommodation! We were 3, and the room, though very tiny, was very adequate. It was clean, quiet, and very adequate. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast (extra cost) was very nice! Our room was actually 2 rooms (no doors) and offered a little privacy between the double bed and the single bed. We did find out that most of the eating places around the hotel only take cash, so be sure you have Euros if you want to eat! The Schloss and its adjoining park was very beautiful, and worth the walk around it! Wifi was faster than I expected!!

Landhotel Schneider has a restaurant just downhill from the hotel, and it was here that I found myself one December evening for dinner. The place was packed, and yet people made space for my one-more. The food was classic fare, and the pork medallions were done perfectly. The Rheingau wines on the menu were great, but what set the place apart were the people. It was the beginning of Christmas season, and the diners all sang carols along with the accordianist. It felt like a family reunion, and I was reluctant to leave. When next I come to this part of Germany, I will make the Landhotel Schneider restaurant a must-do.

The hotel is situated in a quiet side road between the station and the city center. There are quite a few restaurants close by. In my opinion the room and bath were perfectly adequate. Not great, but clean and suffiecient for my needs. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. It did smell a little strange, but nothing that could not be remedied by opening the window for a little while. The room faced a yard, which is not a great view, but quiet. I doubt that there would have been any room in this part of town providing a good view, I wouldn't expect this near the center of town anyway. The staff were very friendly. I did not try the breakfast, because I was there for a conference and knew there would be more than enough food there and did not want to spend an extra 11 Euros.
