We booked a wedding block with them 7 months prior to my wedding. Throughout the process I received multiple phone calls from my guests that the hotel could not find my wedding block. I had to call the hotel 4 separate times to be told they couldn’t find it, then found it, and could not find anyone who is reserved for our block. After numerous phone calls to settle the confusion, the weekend of my wedding had the same issue. All the guests were charged $50 more than the contracted group rate, and my guests were located on different floors within the hotel. Prior to my wedding, speaking with the manager, the prices did get adjusted for some people, and they weren’t sure what happened with our block that there was so much confusion. After my wedding, my bride and I came back to the hotel to find out our door key did not work. When asking the gentleman at the front desk about it, he verified my wife’s name, and made a new key for the room that we booked on Friday, when we placed the key in the door, there was another person already our room. My bride was left in the lobby with no room, and her items missing, with no one knowing where these items went. We ended up having to get a separate room for the night. The next day, the manager when voicing my complaints told me the room was only booked for one night. This was after the gentleman had verified our room reservation for the night, and attempted to make a new key the night before. She told my wife that they did nothing wrong and they would not be doing any compensation for all of the trouble. When calling the cooperate company, I was placed on hold for extended times when they could not find my block when given the confirmation number THAT THE MANAGER OF THE HOTEL WROTE. So far we have had no compensation for all of these issues, was told the missing items is a civil dispute by the police the manager called, and the supervisor for guest services has not called me back as they were too busy to take my call. It’s not a place I will be recommending after being treated so poorly.
