Tambien hay varios ascensores para ascender y descender los cinco pisos. Tanto la puerta de la habitacion como sus luces son accionados por tarjeta (en vez de llaves), y las sobrias habitaciones incluyen cafetero, telefono (las llamadas son gratuitas), agua embotellada, wi-fi, una bandejita de amenidades para el bano, cafe, azucar, todo cortesia de la casa. We were in awe of our bathroom and level of detail in our room and throughout the property, super impressive. Our breakfast at the restaurant was just okay, the coffee was served lukewarm and the dishes we okay, not stellar especially given the price point. Staff was nice, however, my chief complaint is that they were less than flexible seemingly because we booked through Expedia. We were traveling with our two young children arriving off a red eye flight, I requested an early check and when they noticed I booked through a third party site, confirmed it twice and followed that by stating they would not be able to accommodate the request. The hotel was completely desolate, we sat in the un-airconditioned lobby for 3 hours until our tour was scheduled and literally saw two other guests the entire time. The dining room was completely empty as well so it was not a function of having a fully booked property the evening before. I guess my recommendation is to NOT book through a third party site should you have any special requests.

|1.44km from city centerI needed a hotel for a night when all my to-go places went up like crazy due to some useless concert event in Puebla so I left my 5Star place (yes I am cheap sometimes) just for this Saturday night and found this one on orbitz for like 20$. Ok, it’s situated in the beginnings of Analco ,one of Puebla’s founding neighborhoods from the 1500s but unfortunately they never cleaned it up ever after since then. The neighborhood looks worse than a Brazilian favela (yes I’ve been lots of times to Brazil) .This hotel used to be a capital o before now it’s been renovated and inside pretty much acceptable. Got an economy room (really nothing to brag about) and was happy to have avoided the 300$ room in my other hotel. Well, outside it’s an old street from the 1600s and earlier, half of the street is in ruins, not joking, looks like a war zone. Berlin looked better in 1945. There are 2 buildings standing,one is the hotel. It’s dirty and more than neglected outside, the hotel itself is like an old estancia inside with all the rooms having windows which face to the inner court. To be honest you don’t want to see the dump outside anyway. The reception guys efficient and fast, the girl very helpful, she got me a fan (yes,no air conditioning inside,no problem in October but during summer certainly an issue ) and ask for the faster wifi connection as my room (106) didn’t get the normal signal quite well. You get 2 bottles of water and some soap . As I said ,for 20$ it’s a deal, if it’s higher try another place. I would come back, but not for more than a day. The only issues was there were hardly any power outlets for anything. Glad I always bring my power multiple jack extension cord with me.Without this you’d be in trouble. The room was small ,maybe 15m2 but very clean. It was actually quiet although I read the reviews of noisy drunken guests before .So I was happy I never got those. Well, as I mentioned acceptable for the price I paid. Enjoy Puebla.

|2.92km from city centerFirstly, we were surprised to see, by hotel signage, that it was a Marriott property or we would have communicated with Marriott directly as we are members. Upon arrival I was pressured by front desk staff to submit a deposit ”just in case we made charges”, we knew we would not have any charges yet after the pressure I complied (I did speak to the Manager who cancelled the charge on our last day). We had a double queen bed room, the beds were comfortable, the A/C was the noisiest I've ever heard, louder than the TV unless the volume was raised a lot, it was also difficult to set the desired temperature and if you turned it off (it was always cold! no matter how much we fiddled with it) the room was super stuffy since there are no windows that open. The bathroom was ok yet had no ventilation and the extractor was not working plus the towels were some of the roughest I've ever experienced. Some of the lights in the room were not operating. All the above we did not complain above, they are just what was in the room during our stay. The one thing we did complain about was the TV system in place, we travel a lot and bring our media equipment for nights spent in, like Fire TB, etc. We also have several online media services which we maintain and use all over the world, like VPN, HBO, Amazon Prime, Netlix, YouTube, etc. While the TV in room can allow you to view Netlix and YouTube, you will not be able to access any other service nor use any of your own media devices. I know several families that bring along video consoles for their children to keep them entertained for example, but the system in this hotel is blocked to any devices from your cell phone or any external device and while we don't have children, having to watch Mexican on air programs (and we are 100% fluent) is not my idea of entertainment. HBO shown on their system does not correspond to any of the descriptions shown on the guide. When I brought this issue up to Management they just said ”Oh, yes we do block all content”. It's a small detail but when most people own more than a few devices, it's very close minded of them. At least they don't charge additionally for Internet which Marriott is known to do.... The restaurant on the main floor was another disappointment as the food was completely without flavor and /or salt, for a Puebla offering is not good at all. We paid for the breakfast buffet at $250 per person. They had someone on the grill making eggs (worst Huevos Rancheros ever!), quesadillas, chalupas, etc. The ”guisados” a beef and potatoes one and a chicken one are best skipped. The beans just ok, the coffee was dark water and while they have an espresso machine it was not in operation. So had juice and some mini pastries which were good. We were never tempted to order room service as offerings in town are much better and many are cheaper as well. There is a bus from Mexico City Airport to Puebla. It takes ten minutes to get off the bus and take a taxi to the hotel. The traffic is very convenient. The breakfast is local, but the scrambled eggs and broccoli are very suitable for the Chinese stomach. Hahaha The fruit is very fresh. The room we booked does not include breakfast. We paid for the card in the morning. The waiters are very good, but not much English, but the basic communication is still no problem

|2.19km from city centerI visit Puebla every year and I like to try different hotels. This time I choose Misión Angelópolis. Now, I regret that. The Hotel by itself is very basic, but that wasn't the problem. The room is small and badly distributed - the bathroom is as big as the bedroom. The first night I washed my hands and the hand towel was dirty and with stains. I complained about it next day and they told me they will check it out. They never left another hand towel because they did not have any more! I stayed for 5 nights. Only the first day they left amenities and water after that we had to ask at reception for more! On the 4th night I was planning to leave my room around 1 pm and they kept knocking to clean the room. I mentioned I was going to leave at 1 pm they went three times asking if they could clean the room until I had to put a do not disturb sign. The last night they never even cleaned the room even though I put the ”Please clean the room” sign. Summarizing the food was meh, terrible cleaning service, not very good location, basic room. The restrooms next to the restaurant very dirty and I forgot to mention very noisy, someone was singing around 8 am and people running on the hall I do not recommend this hotel and of course I would never come back.

When I first starting staying there the food was pretty good. As time has passed, the food has degraded. On my latest trip I ordered a Caesar salad and it was literally 4 pieces of lettuce, some parmesan cheese (not fresh) and glob of dressing. We had the chicken mole which wasn't bad and then ordered a side of fries which were not even cooked. We complained and they did credit the meal but it is such a shame that a great hotel can't seem to get the food right. We have had some friends stay there and they had the same food issues. It is still a good place to stay but eat elsewhere if you can.

This is coming from an industry veteran who also managed 5 hotels for Marriott. The Hotel San Pedro is incredibly located, with historic, clean and excellent accommodations, as well as a food quality and variety, that surpasses the international chains in the outskirts of the city. The price to value ratio beats any overpriced competition! Special thanks to Angelica, the General Manager and the Chef too, whose name escapes me! Our group was ket happy thanks to them and their team of professionals. Our catering events were stupendous! All local covid protocols were provided without any inconvenience to our group! We have been using this hotel since 2004, and we have always been happy. Also, we were impressed to see that the Hotel San Pedro, used the covid non-travel period as a time to upgrade and refurbish everything, to more elegant and modern facilities, while still keeping the historic Spanish flair. If you are traveling to Puebla City and are in need of a historic location near to everything, then do yourself a favor and stay here!

Walking distance to lots of places. Staff is AWESOME! Hotel provides continental breakfast at their rooftop restaurant. |0.7km from city centerMy wife & I will return to this hotel on our next trip to Puebla. I can’t think of any negative thing to say about El Sueño. The rooms were nicely appointed, the A/C worked & was quiet & the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water. We had a Jr. Suite & the friend traveling with us was in a Standard + room. Both were large & comfortable. Breakfast was included & was from a very complete menu. I think there are some restrictions on ordering from the menu for the simpler rooms. The staff was outstanding & all who had roles which required interactions with guests spoke English. Everyone made us feel welcome. There is also bar & a terrace & food is served throughout the day & early evening. The hotel is only a few blocks from the zocalo & the area appears very safe. In summary, you won’t be disappointed staying here.

Agende para un cliente a inicios de febrero y en ese mismo mes mi cliente sufre un accidente y le programaron cirugía de Columna para los días de la reserva que eran hasta mediados de marzo , en cuanto me aviso mi cliente llame al hotel para cancelar en el mismo mes de febrero y con un mes de anticipación de la reserva, me comuniqué con la gerente, una srita que se dice llamar rizos divinos en Watts app … cero profesional con un trato déspota me dice que no me puede devolver ni siquiera un porcentaje del dinero siendo que cancele un mes antes de la reserva y en el mismo mes de esta , me contesta que por fecha y hora no se puede cancelar siendo que les avise con un mes de anticipación también me dijo que el dinero se quedaba como saldo a favor del hotel , me acuso en falso diciéndome que yo cancelaba hoteles a propósito muy irrespetuosa la gerente , por otro lado me pidió que le emitiera una factura como requisito para ver … si es que me podían regresar algo a pesar de que cancele en tiempo y forma y nunca utilicé sus servicios …. Si no desean pasar un mal rato no agenden aquí . De hotel boutique al menos en el trato no tiene nada .

|4.92km from city centerI've stayed here several times as I've been coming to Puebla more and more for business. I was there 2 nights this week and the staff was great. I am a Hilton Diamond member and they had good Diamond recognition. They upgraded me to a corner Junior Suite (Room 734) which was great as you had a great view both directions. It was spacious, comfortable and had a desk to work on. The bed was ok and the it had working AC. Although, during the afternoon it really had to push to keep the room at the temperature I wanted. At night it always worked well. It seems like it just struggles when it's the hottest and sunniest during the day. That could be solved if you can open the windows but you can't. The only thing that wasn't working is the fridge. They really really should get them back working. I'm not sure if they don't because of COVID but the fridge didn't work at all. They had a working electronic safe which was convenient. Shower pressure worked well and lots of hot water. The internet speeds weren't that quick but it did work. It seems like they always improve the lobby area. They have a business center and now they have a Starbucks window right when you come in which is nice if you like those drinks. For my Diamond benefit they allow points or a continental breakfast. I choose the breakfast which was eggs anyway you wanted, toast, access to the fruit bar and the various juices and coffee or tea. You can pay 150 pesos more and upgrade to the full breakfast buffet. There is plenty of free parking in their secure parking lot. I requested a late 4 PM check-out as my flight left late but they said the latest I could stay was 2 PM as they needed the room. The front desk staff was polite. When I couldn't get something printed in their business center, they asked me to email it to them and they printed it out for me. On the night I flew in, I was very tired and didn't want to go out and they have room service from the restaurant below. The food is totally decent. They brought it up quickly and you can charge to your room.
