We definitely enjoyed our stay(that why we also extended it). Everyone is super friendly, they arrange everything we need(bus, laundry etc), it is quiet street not far away from the night market(you can reach everything in the old city by walking). Delicious breakfast(you can choose between several different dishes and get fruit smoothie and very good coffee/tea), everything is cleaned well, bed is super comfortable, AC works well, bathroom is big enough and shower is perfect, the TV offers amazing amount of channels and there is a refrigerator, WiFi works perfectly. Side note: you can buy water and other alcoholic at the reception cheaper than usually in town.

Excellent location in a quieter street close to the historic centre and a block away from the night market. Everything is in close distance like restaurants, cafes, the river etc. The staff at reception were amazing and very helpful. They helped organise tours, scooter rental and laundry for me. I stayed for a number of months at this hotel, so I know it well. It's the best hotel I've found in Luang Prabang. The managers, a Vietnamese couple named Hoa and Geuang, are very friendly and helpful, and Hoa (the wife) speaks pretty good English. The staff was always helpful. The rooms are relatively roomy (compared to most hotels in LPB), and have an excellent shower, an adequate bed (mattress on the firm side, but ok), an ok AC (a Thai brand), and adequate furniture (a nice, roomy wardrobe, a desk, a medium-size frig, and some small tables). The room I was in (on the first floor) was surprisingly cool most of the time, I think due to being in the shade. One word of warning: if you want to leave anything in the hotel freezer, be sure to label it with your name clearly. I made the mistake of putting an unmarked item (an ice pack) in the freezer, and it disappeared.

At first, a little disguise had disturbed me, the room shown on Booking was slightly different from that booked, the difference was in the small private balcony also in the lower rooms, which were much less expensive. In my balcony was not present and the planned outer area was on the small square of the structure ... Privacy almost zero. I therefore asked for a room change and we reached an agreement on a room at the top floor.. With balcony. I must say, however, that I found myself very good in both solutions, the room on the ground floor was huge and with a bathroom with a bathroom, and the upper floor was more characteristic with a bathroom with a shower. The staff were always very kind, answering any request. It was excellent cleaning, made every day and accurately. To finish the location ... Excellent ... The hotel's work was too sloppy, booked a bed for a girl's quadruple room one day in advance, and paid a fee. I went to the hotel and said that I didn't have this order, and I didn't check my name or order number carefully. Then I found the order with the help of Ctrip customer service, but there was no I had booked a four-person female dormitory, and took me to the first floor and six people to mix in, I felt that the mess was not very clean, and later introduced me to another house. It is recommended that Ctrip deal with the payment, or the order that cannot be refunded, and ask the hotel to confirm the check-in email, this will not happen. I rarely book foreign hotels in Ctrip, because I can't find an order several times, or wait to find an order slowly. It will take more than an hour to finish after 2 pm, check in. However, Ctrip service is particularly good, and problems can always be dealt with immediately and resolved quickly.

I stayed for 3 nights in a newly renovated triple room. Spacious and best bathroom facilities. Good value for money. Better hotel than the picture! ㅎㅎㅎ If you book for 3 nights or more, you will receive several coupons. Quang City Waterfall Tour (free for 50,000 people), 1 hour free massage, 1 free saffron coffee. No breakfast, so I went to the nearby breakfast market and ate rice porridge and noodles. Big noodle shop is very delicious in the morning market. After 35,000 servings, you can have breakfast at the nearby Myrao Home Garden, which is so cold in December morning that we don't recommend eating at the garden.

The staff are wonderful. It is located one step away from the main street of Luang Prabang, and is in a very good location. The facilities are well-equipped, and the staff are attentive and take care of any inconveniences caused by the location of Luang Prabang. I stayed for 5 nights instead of 4, and the hotel staff took care of everything, including organizing tours around the area and arranging trains to my next destination. They also sell SIM cards, and even when I had trouble connecting, they kindly responded and solved the problem. If you come to Luang Prabang, we recommend this accommodation.

I didn’t take any photos specifically, so I can only attach a few random ones. I’m very satisfied with the hotel room. We are a family of five, including elderly and children, and the hotel has a car to pick us up at designated times. At 5:30 in the morning, the alms were delivered by the hotel car, which was full of sincerity. It was only after I checked in that I found out that the person in charge was Chinese. It was an unexpected surprise. I would also like to express my special thanks to Mr. Wang. I am very satisfied. Highly recommended.

Staying at this resort is the last stop of the Lao trip. I spent a very memorable two nights. We prefer it here compared to the hotel in the town. Room equipment: We live in a tent by the river. Pay attention to the zipper to prevent mosquitoes in and out, except for toothbrushes to the front desk. No phone, all contact depends on the resort's own app, other facilities are complete. Activities experience: Pay during your stay to experience kayaking, sunset cruises and massages. The kayaking experience is great, the guide is very professional and the scenery is beautiful along the way, a total of two hours, the price is 25$/person (excluding service fee); The sunset cruise is a long-tailed boat with guides and boatmen. There are no other tourists. The scenery along the way is quiet and beautiful, about 45 minutes, 18$/person, including a cocktail. We also experienced a boat by the Mekong River for 42$/person, which is different compared to each other. Dining: Vegetables are farmed by themselves, the price is reasonable, the taste is very good, Western and local cuisines are beyond expectations. Travel: The resort is close to the airport, ten minutes drive from the town, 20 minutes drive from the train station, there is a free tutu car transfer, the shift is not too much, there are also motorcycles to rent (of course the price is much higher than the town). In short, if you come to Luang Prabang next time, you will still choose here.

What a find! Away from the main street although easily walkable to the night market and bars and restaurants. Carefully prepared breakfasts which we both enjoyed. Rooms are large and individually decorated, cleaned daily. Really loved the beautiful decor. Service was excellent. Any query was answered fully and suggestions for activities and restaurants given if and when required. There was a lovely pool area with beds and chairs too. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel for families or couples.

We stayed in Le Juliana Hotel in May 2023, we were welcomed by local staffs who were kind and attentionate. The hotel is peaceful and very relaxing. The room had all was needed with a nice bath and shower. The view of the room onto the garden was amazing. The breakfast was very tasty’ copious and colourful :-) . I don’t usually write reviews and was very skeptical about this hostel when I booked it since it’s so low cost (I paid USD $15 for 3 nights including taxes). I took a chance on it due to all the prior/raving reviews... so here I am writing one in case you have the same doubt! This is a relatively newly opened hostel and on my arrival, Mr Lai Lee put me in a separate room so I can have some privacy to myself. This is such a nice gesture (tho it’s low travel season in Laos), but he didn’t have to do that... the bed and linens are clean and they assured me there will be no cockroaches as I’m terrified of them lol... I saw none during my entire stay here and they kept the common areas very clean at all times. In the morning, they serve you either western style omelette or Lao noodle soup for breakfast which really makes you think if they charged enough for my hotel stay! This hostel is located near the Phou Si Mountain and everything you need in LP. The local restaurant right across the road is excellent too. In mornings I usually chat with Mr Dao and he shared his experience as a novice monk and some local insights with me... it’s really an experience that I would pay triple or more to get and my stay here has been an awesome one. Hope you will too! :)

Originally we wanted to spend four nights in Luang Prabang. We felt so comfortable at the Paradise Resort that we extended our stay by two more nights. For the first night we had a small room with everything you need. The next morning we were upgraded to a double the size room as a tour group was arriving from China and the manager said it could be a bit noisy. We have now traveled to almost every country in Southeast Asia and experienced a lot of attentive and loving staff. The care we experienced here tops everything. The resort is a little out of the way, offers a free shuttle downtown four times a day. The pool is big and clean. The loungers have no cushions. The rooms are simple, clean, the water pressure and temperature is a bit too low. The breakfast buffet offers both Asian and Continental breakfast.

Quiet location outside of the main city, around 1.5 kilometres from the main town. The hotel doesn't show up on Google maps but it is where trip.com location shows. Staff don't speak much English apart from the nice lady who works in the morning she also makes breakfast, stayed 3 nights but had to book through hotel as with trip.com can only book 1 night. The decoration of the hotel is very beautiful, the hardware is full, the service is not good, the first two nights stayed in another hotel for 400 yuan a night, a cold drink is delivered to the room every day, there is nothing here. Because I have been in Luang Prabang for 3 days, I want to ask if the hotel can check out the second night, I plan to go to Vientiane for 2 days. The reply at the front desk was that no consumption could be checked out, but Trip.com needed to agree. Trip.com told the hotel to implement it. Implementing the next, the hotel manager did not agree, I felt a little incredible, why did the front desk not say that the manager needed to agree, now the manager did not agree. In order not to lose 800 yuan, we continue to live. The next day I knew the reason. There were so many rooms in the whole hotel, but our family lived, and the whole hotel was completely packaged. I only saw 4 families the day before. So it is conceivable that the price is not high. Hotel managers should spend more time considering why such a high vacancy rate and how to improve the hotel's service, otherwise it will be a table.

Rooms and bathroom were super clean; we had originally booked a “family suite” but ended up with 2 separate rooms at a lower cost so we definitely couldn’t complain! Location was great, within walking distance to everything and the staff was warm and welcoming. We LOVE LP and this was a great guesthouse to stay in, definitely will be back one day!

A very good stay experience. A Nice Trip. The hotel is located opposite the Luang Prabang Provincial Administrative Center. The hotel has a total of 24 rooms, which are small but beautiful. Fo and Dm at the front desk were very professional and gave a very complete introduction to the entire hotel's facilities and introduced me to the room. The hotel swimming pool is well maintained and there are safety guards during the day. The Maison Suite I stayed in this time has a balcony, directly above the lobby.

It is really difficult to book hotels during the Spring Festival. I booked several hotels but this one was the most satisfactory. The B&Bs run by Chinese are very friendly to Chinese people. It was a pity that we only stayed for one night. The housekeeper helped us upgrade to a river view room and sit on the terrace. I was in a daze, feeling that this was Luang Prabang, everything was slow and quiet. We booked a pick-up service in advance and a shuttle bus took us to the night market. In addition, the staff knew that we wanted to exchange money and specifically recommended us to a store with a very unfavorable exchange rate. Everyone was very welcoming! Because of my tight schedule, I didn’t see the sunset from the balcony of the room, which was a pity. I’ll stay here again next time I have the chance! ps. The minibar in the room is free, and my first cup of Beerlao was provided by the hotel.

Just came back from a 3 night stay at Kiridara. Overall a pleasant stay. Positives: -The bed was very large and comfortable. Great pillows and mattress. -Stayed in the King Suite - a very spacious room, well appointed with big balcony, bath, and nice view into town -Free shuttle service offered into town. Available on a moment's notice and they will drop you wherever you ask. They will even come and pick you up in town if you call them. -Very friendly front desk staff - helpful and always ask about your day -The manager was also very kind, was very visible and always stopped to check in with how things were going. -It is well known by locals so the tuk tuk drivers always knew exactly where to take us when asked Negatives: -The fitness centre was not very well appointed. Could definitely use an update on the equipment -There was not much hot water - the water would run cold before the bath was even half filled up, shower often went cold after a few minutes use -Ongoing construction happening during our stay as they are rebuilding the deck. Was a bit of a nuisance. When laying by the pool, the smoke from welding would drift over us, workers smoking while we were trying to relax, and banging noises beginning early in the morning (6:30 AM) -The pool bar is meant to be open from 2 - 8 PM, with happy hour from 5-6, but there was rarely anyone staffing the bar. One day when the manager came out, someone rushed to the bar and switched on the music. Would have been nice to have had the availability and ambience of music while we were relaxing by the pool. -Massage: My partner and I each book a massage on separate days. In both of our sessions, the masseuse would leave the room for 10-15 minutes at a time without any word about what was happening or why. Though we paid for 100 minutes, we ended up getting far less because of these long pauses. -Small complaint, but for the price we paid relative to most properties in Luang Prabang, I would have expected higher quality toilet paper - it was basically sandpaper. Had to buy our own. -The breakfast buffet was disappointing - food was not restocked and the hot food was cold by the time we would arrive around 8:30-9. Some periodic freshening up of the buffet would have been a nice touch. -The safe in our room did not work. -The instant coffee in the room was not restocked each day during cleaning. A small thing, but it's a lot of these little touches that make a big difference in a stay. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are a few small issues that need to be resolved to really make the property a truly wonderful experience. There's a lot of potential here.

Warm and welcoming at the end of the peninsula, Villa Mira Heritage was wonderful. Quiet rooms, heavy doors, high ceilings, Villa Mira Heritage has been restored well. It is a shoe of place, slippers provided. Smoking on balconies only. Breakfast is simple and delicious, with fresh eggs to order, baguettes, fruit, yogurt and cereal. And of course coffee. Sometimes a traditional soup. There is a cooler full of drinks if you want to charge to your room, the water is provided in refillable glass bottles or refill your own. They will help arrange laundry for you if needed. Great AC and fan. I stayed for over a month and appreciated the entire staff. Very clean.

We bought our tickets with him in confidence from Luang Prabang for Vientiane and arrived at the Luang Prabang train station we had a beautiful surprise: The ticket manager informed us that our ticket was not valid because the price was removed with a black-ball pen (we didn't pay attention to this detail when he gave us the tickets) We tried to contact the manager of Thavisuk guest house who no longer answered the phone.... We realized then overplace that the young man of Thavisuk guesthouse had charged us 3 train tickets and that's why he have deleted the rates ... so be careful !

Nice small hotel with wonderful staff. Coffee was delicious and so was the breakfast a la carte. The wood floors were squeaky clean. Morning alms right at front entrance and right next to Wat Noung- where you can join the 6pm chanting. Negatives - rooms are a little dark, noise from restaurant across can be disturbing, especially with awful karaoke on weekend nights.

My wife and I stayed at Villa Oasis in March, during Pi Mai (Lao New Year). We stayed twice, for a total of almost two weeks. We loved it. The villa complex is built alongside a swampy little lagoon (with no mosquitos, surprisingly), just a 10 minute walk from Phousi Hill, Sisavangvong Street, and the Luang Prabang Night Market. We chose it because Villa Oasis (and nearby Villa Mahasok) are two of the only mid-range hotels near the Old Quarter that have pools. As it happened, Luang Prabang experienced a heat wave in March 2023, so we were exceptionally glad we had the pool to cool off in. The villa is very close to a supermarket, there are many cheap restaurants close by, and you are only a 10 minute walk from the tourist night market, with lots of eating and drinking options. Two Little Birds cafe is only 5 minutes walk and has fantastic smoothie bowls. The rooms were comfortable, with traditional wood decor and small balconies. Breakfast in the open air restaurant was predictable but good. The villa offers free bicycles, which is handy if you want to get to the main restaurant and bar area of the Old Quarter, on the mid section of Sisavangvong Street, or to the restaurants along the Mekhong riverbank. Easily the best thing about Villa Oasis was its staff, who couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They were absolutely lovely and would do everything possible to make your stay more comfortable. They were quick to arrange airport transfers, taxis, train tickets, river boat tickets, or anything else needed. Nicest was the complimentary refreshing fresh fruit juice that would magically appear in your room or delivered to you poolside when you arrived back from exploring Luang Prabang.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a deluxe room which was comfortable with a balcony. Wifi is a bit slow but it is what it is. For a westerner the breakfast is a bit limited, but we ate for 3 nights and had a lunch which was fine. What really let's it down are the cats in the dining area. One jumped on my lap which was really off-putting as I am allegic to them. If you are going to let cats roam in your dining area then feed them to stop them wanting the diners food. Apart from that the staff are polite and very helpful.

It is one of the best hotel experiences we have had in over 30 years of travel. Without a doubt, the professional and charming staff helped a lot with the attention provided, and a service always above expectations. The facilities are impressive, nothing more beautiful than the central patio with the small pond and the garden, as well as the large common pool area, a 10! The breakfast has a high quality, a lot of variety on offer and they are always willing to prepare a more filling dish for you. The toast with avocado and poached egg is recommended, a great way to start the day. We found the room we were assigned to be one of the best in the hotel, with several separate spaces and a private pool. To stay here many more days. They should improve the Wi-Fi connection in that area of ​​the hotel, given that we were barely able to connect in the room during the days we stayed. Having to work at some point, this represented a problem, which I quickly forgot with a dip in the pool. Thank you to all the staff for your extraordinary work.
