A short distance from downtown Chiangmai frequented by well-off locals. Yes, it might be a bit off the well trodden tourist sites in Chiangmai but if one could spare a day or two here, the beauty of this hotel and its gardens would leave any visitor breathless. One doesn't come here to savour the delicacies of Northern Thailand, there are other places to indulge oneself. One doesn't come here for 5 star service, there are both local and international hotels in town for that purpose. One comes here to get away from the hustlesof the city, to appreciate the expansive well-tended surroundings and most of all, to recharge and relax. I went to this place with a large group that rented the grounds for an afternoon group function. We did not stay there so I can’t comment on the rooms although they look like rustic bungalows raised above the ground. The location is remote even though it’s only 20 miles or so from Chiang Mai. The grounds are beautiful and set in a river valley. They have a nice pool and hiking paths. The food they laid out for our group was very good. Would I stay at this place? No, because I would get bored very quickly. But if you are looking for a place where you can check out from civilization, this is your place. It would be excellent as a yoga retreat or a place to practice meditation. Good for monks!

My children were in full delight, and my husband and I sunk into childhood. We removed a clay villa where you can boldly accommodate 6-8 man. This is a two-storey house, on the first floor a large hall with a table and chairs, a closet and a sofa. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator and a teapot, the glasses were, but there are no cups, I think you could ask for a resepshne, it is three steps from the house. The toilet and shower are also on the first floor, with free shower hats, shampoo and shower gel. The roller wooden staircase leads to the second floor, there is a closet, two beds Queen Size and one single bed, as well as a script table and balcony. Everywhere clean, no complaints. Matres and pillows are comfortable. In the house is a silent light, which creates a more sense of fairy tale. Outside the house looks like clay, the territory is very beautiful and colorful, as if you are in a cartoon, the pictures are made fantastic. The pool is clean but cold for us, other guests bathed, we were short for a long time. For breakfast, they served cooked coffee, hot chocolate for children, toasts, butter, jam and a plate of American breakfast, treated Thai tea, everything was very delicious ! The staff is very friendly and respectful. I can say with confidence if we go back to Chiangmai, one zero will definitely stop here ! There are no substantial downsides. Sliding floors, in the socks on the stairs slipped and wounded the hand to the wall, be careful, walk in the bosom or in shoes. Our house was near the road, very noisy, every car passing can be heard. But for us it was not a problem, we were planning an early rise.

Cute little resort built into a steep hillside above the road leading down the mountain. Room had a large bed, comfortable but too firm for me, modern TV, wardrobe, fridge, and kettle (no coffee provided). Nice front porch looking over the garden. AC worked well. Bathroom had hot water. Everything was clean and in working order. Back wall was all windows, but unfortunately no view. Would be very special if they could landscape this area. Ate dinner at their restaurant, and was pleased with the flavor and quality of the food. Portion size could have been just a bit bigger for the price. There is a parking lot for 4 or 5 cars. Staff were friendly. Sorry to have stayed only one night.

Only about 20 km from central Chiang Mai, you find yourself in an oasis of luxury and greenery. The Veranda offers extraordinary service, from check in to dining to the spa. The balcony of our room overlooked the tea plants, plus a view into the mountains. The infinity pool also provides a dramatic view into the surrounding hills, while having one of the signature drinks as you relax. The spa was sooo relaxing. With a private ”cottage” approach, there was privacy while still enjoying the open sky. I really enjoyed the steam shower, something new to me, while the sunken tub was luxurious in which to just be unperturbed. I understand the lotions used are derived from the staff, and I have to say the scents and feel were quite delightful. I had some tightness in my shoulders and lower back, and my masseuse was quite adept at rubbing those spots until I was relaxed. If you are looking for a unique place to enjoy yourselves, then I highly recommend the Veranda. This is not a location for evening dancing, rather a spot to fully relax and feel pampered. With beautiful cuisine preparations, soothing spa massage, and an enjoyable evening swim in the pool, you will restore your inner energies! It is even a photographic place, with many locations to take great photos! I'm already missing their specialty drinks!

Breakfast is ok, two villas are scheduled to display 100 square meters, the actual two-story area does not exceed 50, very small! The stairs are also very steep and there is no way to bring parents, so switch to a low-priced suite. I exchanged with the hotel for the same-priced room, the manager said no, dinner can give you a good price, not cashed. When I left the hotel, I encountered a very disgusting thing. The hotel asked for 1,400 baht before calling for a taxi, and requested a credit card to the hotel. The actual fare is around 500 baht. To be honest, they are all called cars. The hotel earns even a little bit of money. !! How to say, going up and down the mountain is very inconvenient, 15 km mountain road, if you stay, it is strongly recommended to drive! The hotel has two big dogs, a boxer and an ao dog, running free-range, as if we like dogs, it feels very good. The fear of dogs may need to be considered.

This hotel is also good overall, very close to the airport, no half an hour drive, staying in the room, will give you a coffee coupon every day, to the cafe next to the hotel, you can change a cup of coffee and a bread, when breakfast or afternoon tea is OK. The room is fully equipped, the place is wide, clean, but no slippers are provided, guests who stay should prepare their own! In addition, transportation is to take a taxi, such as renting a car and driving by yourself, the oil station and free parking space outside the hotel are also very convenient. There are KFC and many small restaurants around, there are other Western restaurants and bars and restaurants in a few steps, and there is also a 7-11 where you can buy some snacks and toiletries. Take a taxi out of the old city in about half an hour! The staff are very smiling and polite, the English level is average, and the communication is enough. Overall, it is still possible. It is still worth recommending for price and service. 👍👍👍

Staying for four consecutive nights is more than 1,800 including tax, and the price is not cheap. The location is not far from the airport, and I booked a pick-up to drive here for more than ten kilometers, about 25 minutes. The store is quite enthusiastic, but can't understand English, only simple Chinese, communication is a bit difficult, but fortunately there is no special need. Single-family villa, the room is quite big, can live two people, the environment is quite clean and hygienic, the food is spicy but delicious. There is a swimming pool in the garden, but it feels rather tasteless. There are a lot of Chinese people buying houses in the surrounding area, most of them from the Northeast, giving the illusion of being in a small county in China. Usually the surrounding area is very deserted at night, and there is relatively little business. But sometimes there will be a night market at the door.

One of my best experiences in Chiang Mai. I have been traveling here for years, it was the first time I stayed in Hangdong district. Foresta villa had everything I need: amazing delicious breakfast (simply wow! both me and my toddler loved it. there were different choices, I always had the same and did not get tired of it after a week, a small surprise every day with local snacks), quiet and comfortable sleep (some might consider bed a bit hard), very clean, the room is spacious. The people at the hotel are very helpful, friendly and kind. Made me feel like at home. There is a washing and drying machines (!) for use. Guests can use their kitchen. There are also only few rooms, so it's always quiet. We loved their pets. I had a car to drive around, it's more convenient in any part of Hangdong as everything is a bit far here in comparison with the city regardless in which part of the district you are. Still can get a cab using Grab if you don't like driving. It is definitely a place to come back.

If you are accustomed to the busyness of domestic metropolises and choose a city for vacation, then coming to MM Resort Chiang Mai is the best choice. I accidentally discovered this newly opened resort online and came here with the attitude of giving it a try. The service staff are full of kindness and the most important thing is that they can also speak Chinese. The resort is decorated in Lanna style. Since the newly opened facilities are relatively new, the bedding products are also from big brands, and the environmental facilities are relatively complete, mainly clean. Choose from five free breakfasts every day. After breakfast, start a day of pleasant vacation life with a glass of iced Americano. Little flowers can be seen everywhere🌸, and a dazzling array of trees. Enjoy the soft vacation life alone.

We booked hoping for a retreat, somewhere private and with a balcony to enjoy the nature and that’s exactly what we got. If you want a resort with a swimming pool this is the wrong place but if you want a private villa on the hill side with a balcony in the jungle then this is perfect. I celebrated my 30th birthday here and have no regrets! The room is huge, bathroom too. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the bed was a little hard for our liking, perhaps more Thai style. The staff were great and helped us with the luggage. I recommend hiring your own car and bringing some snacks or drinks with you as there’s no shops close by. The breakfast was order the evening before but enough. We bought a little extra fruit and snacks for beer in the evenings. We had the most wonderful two nights here!

I found this hotel by chance and was so happy i found it. We stayed there for 4 nights.  I must say this hotel is a jewel of Chiengmai. It is a small hotel of about 14 rooms but every room we occupied was nicely  decorated. The rooms and bathrooms are all spacious.  There is a little touch in every corner.  It reminded me of 5 star hotel in Europe. The bed was so comfortable that one had wish one could stay in bed all day long.  The lawn and courtyards were nicely done  and beautiful with thick green grass and flowers. The staff team was very very helpful and always went out of their ways to get things done for us. They even drove to the airport to deliver my luggage that i left at the hotel. The scrumptious breakfast  that one could not denied these delicious breakfast every morning. All in all, We were so happy we found this beautiful hotel and already planned to come back very soon. ” It is a home away from home ”.

My family and I have had a wonderful experience at North Hill City Resort. This is our first time here, but it won't be our last. The accommodations are lovely and even more attractive given that this hotel is relatively small and has a lovely boutique flavor. Everything worked perfectly in our rooms, and the showers are impressive in and of themselves with multiple jets of water that can soothe your aching muscles after a long round or two of golf at the world-class golf course (literally) 100 paces away from one of the entrances of the hotel. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We were also pleasantly surprised by how efficient and cost-effective room service was. All of our food came promptly and was hot and delicious, which has not been my experience of most hotels in my years of travel. The one improvement I would make would be to the breakfast buffet, which was very good, but limited. All the food was well prepared and delicious, but if there were more options that would be helpful. Mostly, however, it was the generosity of the staff which was most impressive. Under the leadership of the resort manager, Mr. Pholkrit Poenmunkong, we were exceptionally well cared for by all staff members, but, in particular, by Mr. Poenmunkong and the front desk staff of Nada, Ploy, and Chainoi. Mr. Poenmunkong was warm and generous with his time. He greeted my young son with a formal handshake which helped him feel very proud. During our stay, he also ensured that we had everything we needed to make our experience exceptional. The front desk staff was an exquisite example of people going ”above and beyond” to help us feel at home. When you're in a new city, small things matter, and whether it was Nada making sure my four-year-old had his hat (or carrots to feed the rabbits), Ploy ensuring that we took the correct shuttles to the correct places, or Chainoi making sure we had fresh towels and teaching us archery, we felt their warmth and their competence, which was a gift. What happened as I type this review is an example of this generous hospitality. I am sitting in the hotel cafe writing this review and Nada (who works with the front desk staff), unsolicited, greeted me warmly and brought me a delicious drink, which was quite thoughtful and appreciated. This is the type of service we've experienced North Hill City Resort and I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to enjoy a great hotel, with delicious food and amazing hospitality.

Stayed 2 nights here with my wife recently as I had to participate in a trail race nearby. It’s a bit out of the way but it’s really peaceful and great way to spend a couple of days to unwind. The resort resembles an English cottage and all the furnishings and the garden are all done to create the atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay here tremendously especially with the great service, nice breakfast, beautiful done up room and the walks around the resort. The resort cafe serves good food but it closes at 6 pm. However you can just walk about 15 minutes or so to the main road where you can find a few restaurants serving Thai cuisine at reasonable prices. Ideally you should have you own transport to be able to move around easily but they provide bicycles for rentals too. A great place to stay for a couple of days to unwind!

The location is far from the ancient city, but very close to the Royal Garden and Night Zoo. I need a grab to go out. The butler is very good and took me to the nearby 711 to buy things. There are several Internet celebrity restaurants about three kilometers nearby. The hotel has been renamed, monkey house, but the july garden resort must be used to call the car. The environment is good, but there are too many wild dogs barking in the house next door, and almost didn't sleep on the first night. There are a lot of mosquitoes and reptiles, this is no way, you just need to be mentally prepared.

We stayed as a couple in November 2022, the hotel, it’s grounds, the rooms and the pool are beautiful. The staff are generally friendly especially the main reception gentleman who was there and always willing to help 24/7. Whilst the hotel was beautiful, there are a few improvements that are needed to allow guests to have a better stay. The breakfast wasn’t great at all and we paid quite a lot extra for this (as the hotel is a 30 minute drive from town). There are two options, a Thai breakfast (minced pork with eggs although we didn’t try this) or an American breakfast. There are no options for fruit, yoghurt or any cereals. The American breakfast shown on the menu doesn’t come as shown and instead comes with frozen vegetables (rather than beans, mushrooms etc). From the second day I just asked for eggs or eggs on toast which we found to be best. The pictures online led us to think there were lots of breakfast options so we paid extra for this but this isn’t the case. We raised this with staff but we’re told the pictures weren’t right. The hotel is quite far out, but we liked this for a peaceful and tranquil stay in between our day trips out. Whilst you can buy water, smoothies and tea & coffee it would have been nicer to have access to water (maybe a water fill up station) tea and coffee all day round the pool. You do have access to two bottles of water in the room each day but this wasn’t really enough if you’re spending the day round the pool. There is a mini market 5 mins away where you can get some supplies from. There is an on-site gym which has enough if you want to workout, the pool area is lovely and everything is decorated really beautifully. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but a better breakfast option at the least needs to be improved given how far away from any other food options the hotel is.

We fed chicken, ducks, the one sheep and goats. All of them huddled around us, pleading for food. We felt so popular! We also saw some fireflies blinking against the ink-dark night with the shining crescent moon. Little frogs croaked at the pond and you can even spot some. Of course, there's also the dogs. When you leave, give Nok a hug. Because she deserves one, and also the dog will squeeze in jealously. I regret that I didn't give Al a hug. I would have liked to see if the dog joined in too. It's not just B&B. It's much more than that. If you're an animal lover, this place is a must. Since the Rice Barns were full during our stay, we stayed at the blue and green houses which were just next to each other. They were still lovely to stay in. The beds were soft, and the water pressure was good. They do provide English breakfast and other kinds. A simple Thai restaurant is nearby within five minutes' walk. In addition, there's a free pick-up from a restaurant at a further distance. Just ask Al and Nok. We really enjoyed our stay.

One of the best resort I stayed in chiang mai, though I haven't been to many expensive one, this place is low cost with promotional price. Whe roaming around, it feels like I am in europe, yet the food is local and fairly priced, nice swimming pool but lots of ants enjoying the pool as well. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, changed our room to easy access due to older people. room is big and adjoining, good water heater, air con works well, enjoyed the balcony at night in the cool winter wind, walked among the farmland of vegetable and banana, great restaurant just outside of the resort (walk 10 mins from hotel room), beautiful river stream... good place for a nice relaxing stay.

If you come to Chiang Mai, you should definitely stay in such a place. this place is about 10 km away from the area where night markets are located. It's a great feeling to come here after having fun in the crowd. like a place from heaven. just the sound of birds and crickets. The first thing you see when you wake up is a wonderful garden. the pool is very enjoyable but I wish it didn't close at 8... the staff is friendly and polite. the rooms are clean and very nice. This is the place I want to come back to. Thanks for everything 🌸

A bit of a trouble to get a taxi in the evening time from here. But 15 minutes walking to the Starbucks and no problem to catch one from there. It's about 25min by car from the city center. Overall nice and quiet place.
