We stayed in a river vista room which was located on the corner with wrap around windows and panoramic views of the river. It was so relaxing to sit in the comfortable arm chairs and watch the boats. We took advantage of the stay and dine package which included dinner, breakfast, parking and noon checkout. The food was terrific, making this great value. My husband had the steak which he raved about for the cut of meat and the tenderness. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. We also shared a wood fired cheese pizza to start - bliss. Breakfast was hearty - the bircher muesli with rhubarb was crammed with goodies and the chefs breakfast most generous. Service throughout the hotel is first rate. The king size bed and choice of pillows, plus blackout curtains and double glazing, ensure a good nights sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Life in a time of Covid for hotels isn't easy, and what usually would stand up well, on this occasion was a bit of a letdown. Firstly - the good. Location is excellent for business travellers. Located near the massive RBH healthcare precinct it is a good spot that offers a 5-10 minute walk to the hospital. I used to get off the train near here and walk to the hospital every day when I worked at that campus, so I know the walk well. And yes... the train is near by and it is handy to several of the major roads that will get you where you need to be over Brisbane quickly, if you need to drive. The design is modern. The furnishing is a shade or two above Ikea in quality, with nothing to sing about, but largely well thought out for maximum use of space. I especially loved the louvre panel between the bedroom and the main room - is a clever design that would only be improved by making it movable so you have a wide door out of the bedroom. It had a small table and two chairs - but could have done with perhaps one my chair for a visitor. It's a modern bathroom that is clean and decent. The modern fascination with doorless showers however is a frustrating form-over-function design that will leave splashes on the floor outside of the shower. Oh well. I did like the young woman behind the counter at the reception. While she lacks a bit of polish, she is warm and pleasant to deal with and honestly felt more welcoming than other receptions I have signed in at.. Reportedly she works at two sites run by this company. There's parking too. You have to pay additionally or it, but that's easy enough to arrange at the reception counter. The site also has a pool and a gym. The pool is small, but good to have a splash in, and has helped cool things down. With its own laundry facilities, for a longer stay this is excellent value for money. The bad... If you are a business traveller, you're going to find the facilities a bit sp****. The wifi is adequate if nothing to sing about, but don't feel you will be working too hard in one of the regular rooms. The room I stayed in had a small round table with two chairs. There's a lounge which is small but okay for watching TV on, but the chairs are terrible for long sitting sessions and the table inadequate for working on. It is basically a breakfast bench. Also, the the shelves in the cupboard are not well designed for high-travel use. The shelves in the cupboard next to my bed collapsed when I started to load things into it. I'll preface this next bit by pointing out that both myself and the Ms are healthcare workers. The Ms is an infectious diseases clinical with over 20 years experience that is currently actively involved planning and responding to the pandemic. I myself have been involved in testing and screening, and am no stranger to Covid patients. As we had travelled from interstate in the midst of a growing covid outbreak in NSW, we were shocked to find that the facilities p
I booked the wrong date for my stay at Albion Manor Apartment, and was told that they were fully booked for the day when we arrived at the hotel. Unfortunately, we were told that hotels in Albion were all fully booked. We were so grateful to the staff at the reception was exceptional, going the extra miles to ring up hotels in neighboring suburbs and finally found us a room. Also, she was so sweet to run to the car park when we were about to leave, just to point to us a safer route to take to avoid the crazy traffic at 5pm!
Although you may find nicer apartments if you try, you won't find anywhere with more helpful staff. The apartment was fully suitable for my daughter and I to stay fit an extended period of over a month, as it was close to the hospital whilst also being close to Fortitude Valley and the city. It was always clean, and at night and on weekends there wasn't a lot of noise. Mostly the rating is for the staff though, as it seemed that nothing was too much trouble.
This certainly is a budget hotel. The room was basic and clean. The price was right. Location good. We had a ground floor room to the back of the building which was nice and quiet. Two pillows would be nice. The bathroom small and tired. Needs a make over. The shower area needs doing and the shower screen clings to you because the shower area is so small. The reception staff very pleasant and helpful.

This is a sensational hotel - after having my flight cancelled at 6pm I contacted Ovolo in hope of a room. James from the front desk was amazing, they had someone check out early and he offered to have the room prepared. When I arrived the girl on check in was friendly and check in was very easy. The rooms are large, quirky and well appointed, I particularly enjoyed the free mini bar and the spa bath. I liked the small above and beyond touches like the sound bar which is enable with Alexa and the funky sign “hey Alexa play that funky music”. I love a hotel with a comfy bed but also love a hotel with thick block out curtains which Ovolo provides - so you get a great nights sleep. Location is excellent especially easy to get to the airport. Highly recommend the Ovolo and so grateful to James and the team for going above and beyond - many thanks.
Easy check in with the delightful Bec. Room wasn't quite ready for 2pm check in due to cleaning staff off ill however was not an issue for us as we had a business trade show to attend across the road near the showgrounds. We were in room 2009 located on the very top floor with a handy study included so we could complete our work. Apartment was modern, really spacious, great size balcony and located close by to showgrounds and public transport. Fantastic restaurants, coffee shop and sensational bakery a short stroll away in King Street. There is also a cafe located in the lobby of the apartments. Parking was free and under the building. We were really impressed by this property and will return without hesitation when in Brisbane again.

Our family stayed in a two bedroom apartment for four people. The apartment was clean and tidy and had plenty of space. The full kitchen with cooking utensils was very helpful too. We also had two bathrooms which was very handy for so many people. The reason we chose this apartment was because of how close it was to the Royal Brisbane hospital. It was no more than a two minute walk to the hospital which was very convenient as we had many visits there. The price was very reasonable. The hotel staff were very helpful and I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Thank you for our help during our stay.
Overall, a good stay, in a good central location.
We had difficulty getting the air-conditioning working properly and the bathroom was somewhat dirty.
There was also lack of information on how to use the internet, TV or facilities.
We had a fantastic stay at Citybackpackers HQ in Brisbane!! It's the ideal location in Brisbane with easy walking access to everything the city has to offer. Friendly Faye checked us in at the Reception desk and gave us drink/food tokens for the evening, drew out a route on the map for us to explore Brisbane city by day and night, including free things to do which were extremely helpful! Faye showed us around the hostel, where the communal kitchen is located, the cafe, bar and the rooftop pool! Amazing! And the rooftop deck where everyone is chilling, drinking and eating with a stunning river view of Brisbane's city. Citybackpackers has a great vibe, we only wish we had a few more days to soak up this lively hostel. We stayed in a private room, which was super spacious, a fridge, chair, TV and wardrobe. The bathroom is separate with toilet, sink and shower with steaming hot water! Everything is super clean with modern amenities. We'll certainly be back visiting Citybackpackers next time we are in Brisbane! Thanks for having us :)
As a regular at the Evolution and taking quite a liking to the hotel as a whole especially the night staff who were always welcoming, warm and kind my most recent trip turned it around entirely. My partner and I booked together on my account (as I regularly travel my rewards are higher) but paid with his card. I normally receive a free upgrade to my room but in this case wanted to make it special, paying extra for a room with a view. We had a small corner room (nothing like the rooms I had stayed in before) and to our disappointment no view at all. I queried this and despite being able to show the extras paid for told me that technically being surrounded and crammed between high rise business buildings, it was a “city view” . Our second night there went south with no disturbance to anyone else residing there nor the hotel staff however as a way to further abuse me, rang the hotel and without any notice was thrown out. Not only did they ignore clear signs of A partner trying to cause trouble for their spouse, they enabled it and threatened me with the police after trying to dispute the matter.
I plan to take this matter further.
Only one lift working in one section, therefore the lift was full, not good during COVD. The hotel was not very full, I was put next to the left and could hear the ding every time the lift stopped on the floor. If the dry was on, you could not hear the TV. Dirty socks in the bedroom from a previous guest. The light in the walk-in robe did not work. The light switch for the washing cupboard was broken. The intercom to let someone in opened the door to the other apartment block. When I arrived in the room after checking in, there was a tradesman in the room fixing a broken table.
Position... Perfect for all transport and for the ease in getting around Front Desk...Excellent staff assistance and the gentleman who worked Saturday morning went out of his way to help me with special needs Room........Comfy bed, great shower, very clean and this was on the 8th floor. The area..... Railway is being overhauled and can be a little noisy at times, there is food and a lovely cafe underneath where breakfast was fabulous and reasonably priced...pubs and sports are close by.. Would i recommend.......YES Overall experience.........I left a very happy person
The hotel almost gave full marks. 1. Geographic location: just opposite the subway station, you can see the station exit and go downstairs. It is also convenient to walk to Queen Street and South Bank Park. 2. Hotel facilities: The facilities are outdated, but clean and tidy, but the sound insulation is not good. In addition, the hair dryer was facing the bed, just blowing the head was uncomfortable, and everything else was fine; 3: Hotel service: This one should be praised, there is Chinese service at the front desk, communication is not difficult, and the waiter has a very good attitude and is very caring , Give us a map to study how to make a train to the Gold Coast, and give us guidance on how to get to the attractions, where to eat and so on. It ’s really worry-free. I just give the full score for this waiter. I ’m here. Australia's most satisfied hotel, will definitely stay again next time!
I have found our new Brisbane CBD luxury accommodation. Excellent customer service and friendly staff on arrival, the large reception area, stunning English feel, Royal Albert teaware is all around you, deluxe suite is absolutely massive, large windows, in-room laundry facilities, a minibar with a wide range of refreshments, stocked fridge, beautiful long bathroom, pillow top mattresses, the room is spotless, fresh, warm and inviting. On-site elevated stacker parking (F&F Tokyo Drift) for smaller cars, though our large truck was best parked at the Myer Centre, all of this for a great price! Walk out the front reception area, to a wonderful cafe, newsagent, eatery onto the street to a ladies make-up store (perfect) Location is directly opposite the Myer Centre and our favourite Beach Resort. Love it! Well done Royal Albert Brisbane 50 stars
Easy parking within the complex. Great rooms with private balcony overlooking swimming pools. Very quiet and so relaxing. All the facilities you need, whether short or long stay. Staff (Joshua & Monica) at the Complex go out of their way to assist and make your stay enjoyable. Perfectly situated in the heart of the CBD. Fantastic for Business stays.
The room is not bad and the view is quite good. It specifically meets our high-floor needs, but there is no bathtub in the room. Bathrobes and toiletries are rarely provided. There is only one facial cleanser. Obviously there is only one toothbrush in the room for two people, so call The front desk took it although the attitude is very good, but is it not the most basic thing that should be equipped? The shower is huge and it seems that it will leak if it is not tightened. These places are not particularly satisfied because we are going on holidays and the price is 3 times the usual I think you get what you pay for, it’s not worth the 3 times the price. The location is very good. It’s easy to walk anywhere. Swimming pool, gym, restaurant and other facilities are all satisfied, but the whole building feels smaller than expected 😂 Compared with the few buildings next to it The big one
The hotel was booked 1 week in advance. On the morning of check-in, we called to inform the hotel that there was no room, arranged us to Adina in the city center and arranged dinner for us. After inquiring about the address arrangement, the hotel was right next to the Central Railway Station. When I arrived at the new hotel with joy, I found that the hotel decoration was old and the lights in the room were very dim. The free dinner originally said became the front desk to help us order takeaway and then the hotel gave out $ 50, and I was in a bad mood. We asked to return to the hotel we had originally booked but there was still no room. Later, the front desk promised to help us change the hotel the next day, and changed to a new hotel that opened one day. In general, the hotel front desk service attitude is very good, said that we will immediately arrange for a room change. I don't know if it is Ctrip or the hotel itself. It is clear that the hotel will have no vacancy in the next 2 weeks but Ctrip can still book.
The cheapest hotel to stay in Australia, but the sanitation and service are not bad or even better. The apartment hotel I used to stay in was not cleaned, and the beds were re-made and cleaned every day, but it didn’t matter if we only stayed for two or three days. There are 4 free items in the mini bar every day, but we basically didn't move much. The location is very good, opposite the supermarket, Myer shopping mall, and behind the city hall. The elevator is very fast and convenient. Check out quickly! Will come to stay next time.
The only drawback: the bathroom is separated by a sliding door, which is very heavy, and sometimes the room next to it is pulled too hard to make noise. Otherwise, the environment is quite quiet.
Staff were nice (as always). The room was awesome with an incredible view. Top marks there. The ground floor facing Queen Street seemed abandoned like a business had failed. It might have been a bar that was closed. The front door was via a back lane, not Queen Street. This could be communicated better in the email information or maybe change the name to Mantra on Perry Lane. Backs onto shops with a Woolworths and bottle shop ...pretty handy. Excellent location for Howards Wharf if you don't mind a short stroll.
The hotel is conveniently located, it only takes about five or six minutes to walk from the city center, and there are many bus stops nearby. It is an apartment with 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom. The living room and bedroom each have a large balcony. It is very spacious and suitable for a family. The kitchen utensils are complete, and you can cook by yourself after shopping. Room service is available every day. This price is suitable for a family to live in, and if traveling alone, it is a bit expensive.
The convenient location is the biggest advantage of this hotel. The hotel is located near the domestic terminal (Building D) of Brisbane Airport. After getting off the plane, you can reach it quickly through the parking lot, less than ten minutes' walk. The rooms are simple and tidy. It is very suitable for passengers who transit here or arrive late.
The location of the hostel is quite good and the appearance is very distinctive. In the central area, the transportation is convenient, the food and beverage options are diverse, and it is very close to the famous brand stores, department stores, and supermarkets, which is very convenient.
The facilities are a bit old, and the air conditioning provided is relatively crude, which does not help much in hot weather. Good service and good value for money.
I often stay in this apartment hotel. What kind of room do I stay in? The curtains in the executive room before are still automatic buttons. It is more convenient. Because it is a newer hotel, it is very good. To be honest, you can check out late on Sunday to $ 4. Order, it is very cost-effective. If you want to set breakfast, you must set it up with Ctrip in advance, because the current purchase price is a lot higher, which is a loss. To be honest, this breakfast is nothing, it is just like sausages, so it ’s personal. It is not too appetite, there are parking lots, TV can also order various movies, but there is a fee, you can buy it alone or you can pack it for 24 hours. I like Capri because I have a light aroma in the hotel lobby, and the service is relatively good. In place.
Very satisfied stay, the room was large and the view from the window was beautiful
It arrived at 12 o'clock on the day of check-in, but it was necessary to check in at 2 o'clock. Four of us booked two rooms. The front desk also gave us a room.
From the hotel, walk to Queen Street for about 15 minutes. The opposite side of the hotel is the cruise ship pier. From here you can take a boat to Longbai Zoo
If next time, definitely stay again
I had stayed here a number of years ago when it was a budget place for Brisbane. I still have nightmares about the tight basement carpark. On my recent stay I was pleasantly surprised at the refurb and condition of the hotel rooms. At least $60 per night cheaper than comparable hotels - although their carparks are better. My advice is to opt out of the chance that their carpark will have any spots left - they don't reserve parks. Just pay the $7 extra for the Tank St carpark. If you arrive at their laneway park and there are no spots, it is a harrowing reverse out of the alley to go and find the other carpark. (Even though the staff member says you can turn around, you can't!) The intercom constantly cuts out, so a difficult conversation to find all of this out. No 'loading zone' anywhere to find out if their park is available. My advice is to just ask for the Tank St parking and get the pin code via phone before you arrive. It is only a short few hundred metres from there back to the hotel entrance. Overall, I would stay here again, a great location.
Staff are friendly and helpful & the room was spacious & clean, the only drama was the night works being done outside (The Jack hammer started at 10pm) Luck I had a thousand beers and it didn't keep me awake, I would stay again.
Can add a baby cot, extra bed can also be charged, very good, we did not drive without knowing whether there is a parking lot, the location of a few hundred meters to have Myer big shopping mall, take two intersections to the river, the bridge is southbank, Need to go but acceptable, the breakfast is simple Western food, the variety is quite complete, there are white porridge, there are many kinds of bread, vegetables have vegetable salad
Very recommended, the hotel is next to the city center and is very close to everywhere. Walking downstairs for two minutes is the pedestrian street, which is convenient for eating and drinking milk tea. The service attitude at the front desk is very good. The cheak in and cheak out are very fast, and there is only a deposit of $ 1. The twin rooms I ordered had large double beds and the rooms were very clean. Every day people come to clean the rooms and change the bathroom. And when I finally left the store, I left the iPad in the hotel room and only remembered it at the airport. I contacted the hotel urgently and asked if I could send it to Sydney. Let me fill out a form and send it to me the next day. The service is really in place and will definitely stay again next time you come to Brisbane.
Great location! Opposite the road is the landmark City Hall, and next to it is the Queen's Walking Street. The hotel room is spacious and clean. We booked a twin room. Both beds are queen-size beds. Sleeping with children is not crowded!
In the comments above, a friend mentioned that the construction is next to the hotel, yes, but I feel the impact is small, especially after dark, there is no construction.
Location is in the city center, the most popular Queen's plaza can be reached on foot, valet parking for 55 Australian dollars a night, a little expensive, if you are recommended to find a free parking hotel, but I was surprised that our quilt is actually dirty, After two calls, someone came to check and replace it. Afterwards, I gave a printed apology letter and 3 small chocolates. I have no sense of service. I will not go live again.
The hotel is at the crossroads, so the taxi location is better in the parking lot of the building. Walk to the river to eat and the queen is very close. There is a home 711 downstairs, you can buy some daily necessities and breakfast. I ate a few days of egg + milk cereal + sandwich breakfast. Ctrip has booked three nights cheaper than booking, 500, which is quite good. Hotel parking and wifi have to charge, friends who drive to pay attention, Australia's parking fees are more expensive. The deposit is 1 Australian dollar, which is better. After all, sometimes it is difficult to pay the deposit.
Stayed here at the beginning of April. The front counter staff are very pleasant and happy to help. There is construction work directly beside the hotel and it's very noisy should you venture outside your room. Fortunately, the rooms seem fairly well insulated to sound. This hotel, to my amazement does not offer Foxtel. I thought this was very unusual and questioned the staff. They said that Foxtel was taken away due to covid. On this subject, the TV supplied in my unit was a very old LG model (only standard definition channels) which was tacky. The rooms were a reasonable size though the bathroom had a horrible setup. The bathroom is equipped with a bath/shower combination. Meaning you had to climb over a tall bath side to access the shower. I'm tall and still found this inconvenient. This would definitely not be suitable for older persons, persons very limited mobility or young children. The view from my room wasn't staggering as I was facing student accommodation. Despite some of my criticisms my stay was enjoyable. I just feel that Mantra may want to upgrade a few items/services.
The park is opposite the hotel, the environment is good, parking can be parked in the backyard, 33 days a day, the hotel is some years old, the room is small, the two 1.5-meter beds are a bit crowded, the bathroom is small, fortunately, the location is good, shopping and eating Very close
I really enjoyed my time at Chill Backpackers! The staff were really friendly and super helpful. The location is really close to so many things, especially if you're just wanting to explore. The rooms are really clean and have quite a lot of space. There are mixed and women's bathrooms, which I found really good. They have a rooftop, which was a cool place just to chill out, as well as has a pool table and a TV room up there. Wifi works all around the building and is an awesome spot for backpackers or people just wanting cheap accommodation. They have limited parking but it's first in best dressed! Thanks to all of the staff for being amazing - I will definitely be coming back to stay when I come back to Brisbane!
A wonderful time at the Hilton Brisbane..,our yearly couples (5 families) Christmas getaway was a wonderful experience! Staff was extremely welcoming and always very helpful! Our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the King George Square Christmas tree! Thank you to all!
No matter if it's for Business or Pleasure, the Mantra Midtown has it covered for you. From the Minute you arrive you are treated like a valued guest by the reception staff. Rooms are very Modern and have all the items you require to spend your days either cooking up a storm or relaxing. Great Pool and Gym to use. Parking also onsite for a fee. Brisbane CBD is at your front door with a short walk to any of what the CBD has to offer. No matter if its for 1 night or 1 week or more, the Mantra Midtown is always my first choice.
Great hotel. Parking is just ok being that it’s in the Myer centre which cost $38 instead of $56 for non-hotel guests. I got the QR code for my discounted rate but it didn’t scan saying “offer not valid yet” so had to pay $56 anyway and I couldn’t be bothered to find a parking spot again and pay again to argue the point. Other than that I’d be really happy to stay there again soon.
