4.23km from Wendy's Noodle CafeThis place has a basement floor (which is called the first floor) which is not easy to notice in the first place when you book your room. You better be careful whether you will get a room in this floor especially when you have a big heavy luggage. Here is my experience today (fact). A caucasian couple and another group who is fluent in English got rooms in the second floor (which means normally the first floor in other places) after being asked about room choices. I was not asked about any floor choices even though I had a huge and very heavy luggage unlike others. BTW, I was not that fluent in English as others. Now I am wondering whether it could be a reason to get a bad room. A first floor room was assigned to me and I noticed that it was a basement room as I walked down the aisle. Also I noticed there is no elevator. My luggage was very huge. I couldn't hold it. I was almost slowly dragging it down over the stairs. One could easily have hurt his/her arms or bag by mistake. It was very hard to carry it down for me due to its weight and I am feeling pain in my arms. I went back to the line to talk about this room assignment, but now the line got longer and the staff just left to check something right before my turn. My children and wife kept waiting for me with a huge bag, and I couldn't make them on hold while people were walking around the place and looking at them. So finally I gave up changing the room, but this choice ruined my family trip and we had very bad experience. Usually I prefer upstairs. Being in the basement, people were jumping above our room and it was very noisy. As a basement room, the window is up in the wall unlike other rooms (above half of the wall). I never expected this kind of room and this place doesn't post the pictures of this basement floor room in the website. If I knew this type of room I would have spent my money in one of many other hotels. More complains (fact): The lotion in the room was used one. Why do you recycle it? Is it so expensive? The coffee machine didn't have a tray. So it couldn't be properly used for coffee. My room was in the back right next the road. I had to enjoy all the traffic all evening. In short, if you happen to be very fluent and get respected, probably you would be ok as many other reviewers. But if you happen to be a minority, or do not speak English well, or don't get respected well (I am not sure which case I am among these), I would like to share my experience that I got a room in the basement without being asked and suffer like me. This place ruined my family trip and would like to thank a lot for this first and the worst experience in our trip. So be aware with this information regarding the basement floor in this place.
