0.1km from WerkzeugHThe service is very good, very welcoming and very patient to solve all the problems for me. Due to the incorrect contact information of the customer service, the hotel that was thought to have been booked with an airport shuttle was found to be not available after check-in. Ctrip had the first feedback and the front desk staff was very patient and instructive. However, it is really troublesome to take public transportation to the airport by yourself, and it is easy to buy the wrong ticket. If you go to the airport, it is recommended to choose a hotel with an airport shuttle or book a charter in advance.
The room is very clean, you need to bring your own toiletries, and the bathroom is very small. It is barely OK for girls (turned around and touched the door handle several times). For taller men, it is recommended to choose some large rooms.
Overall quite satisfactory.
0.15km from WerkzeugHstayed here for 3 nights while the hotel appeared clean and stylish we were let down by the service; no way is this a 4* hotel I have stayed in 3* and 4* hotels across Europe and they all provide a safe, a minbar/fridge and a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee but not here. They have a trendy bar downstairs yet they charge $3.80 for a cup of green tea; everything had a price! When we checked in late in the night we had a lukewarm reception with only keys provided and no information whatsoever e.g. what's the number to the reception, or when the breakfast hours were. The customer service was poor, they don't go out of their ways to greet you, every time I approached the reception and greeted them was when they greeted me in return. The breakfast was standard and the same everyday no changes. On the card said the breakfast on Sunday was until 10.30am but they started packing at 10.10am. The room was extremely hot, there was no option to adjust the temperature according to your own needs. The pillows were awful I had to fold both pillows into half to achieve some volume. The duvet was cheap and but the end of our stay I had rashes all over my body. They provide basic shampoo and body wash so bring your own vanity kit with you. While the reception area is great and trendy it would help for them to remember they are a hotel not a bar/restaurant first. The hotel was standard the only really good thing was how close it is to train station that takes you into Vienna city centre within minutes.
0.52km from WerkzeugHThe hotel is south of the main sites of Vienna, but well-connected by U-Bahn and bus. It's also walkable if you have the time and energy. A busy main road is on the other side of the canal, plus a U-bahn line, but I can't say the noise was intrusive. The hotel is clean, the lift works efficiently and the rooms are spacious and well-maintained. There isn't a kettle/tea-making facility in the room, but we were prepared and took our own travel kettle. Breakfast was excellent every day with a combination of hot and cold food. Staff were efficient and courteous, not over-effusive. Small point: There was graffiti scrawled at the back of the hotel (not the hotel's fault) and someone at some time had thrown a bath towel outside and it had stuck in a tree, which was a bit unsightly and should have been dealt with. However - small point! If we returned to Vienna we would certainly stay here again.

0.57km from WerkzeugHWe stayed at Mocca for 3 nights whilst visiting Vienna for the first time. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room (No. 25) was on the 1st floor and faced a side street. You can hear the noise of the traffic if you keep the window open but it wasn't too bad. The room is equipped with a TV, fan, kettle and a some disposable tea making items. It would have been good to have had a couple of glasses and mugs to make a proper brew. The bed was comfortable but they had the lightest pillows ever! with very little padding in them so we had to fold them up to rest our heads. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, which is great, and also opposite, which takes you into town. We didn't go for the breakfast offered at the hotel, but decided to try the coffee shop next door (Gumperdonfer) and it was really good value. We also had breakfast at Jelinek just round the corner. Both really good places. We also had dinner most nights at Steman also on Otto Bauer Gasse. We both thought the location was great. It was easy to access from the airport from the tube station nearby (Zieglergasse) and not far from the centre. Mocca is a good place to stay if you intend to spend most of your time out and about exploring the city and you're not too bothered about a bit of an outdated decor (mind, we found that this is a common theme in lots of places we visiting during our stay, which I felt made them very charming and quaint).

0.71km from WerkzeugHHere was a fun filled palace of clean rooms and awesome healthy breakfasts. I was staying over the weekend, visiting dancers, cheographers and meeting stage management at the Duck Theatre during the day. So my morning thoughts were brief, jumping under the warm steamy water and padding down my biceps with soft cotton. Slipping on a soft silk shirt and a cotton kimono - the Sunday morning was my downtime. So began reading the Observer newspaper. There was a call from reception on the phone, as I then began planning the day on foot consulting my laptop. Google Maps showed that Trains were departing from Central Station before noon, so I chose to catch the 11.46 from platform 1 to a small town, allowing me two hours to call my girlfriend, enjoy a full English breakfast and relax. As my legs carried my tired body along the corridor, passing only 5 closed doors, my ear picked up the tone of a woman's voice approaching. She was disembodied, talking confidently and with sensuality. As I stood waiting for the lift doors to open, my eyes & attention were fixed on the door left ajar. Suddenly, her voice commanded in a strong South American accent, 'Hey, hold the lift!' & this impassioned response caught me by surprise, as her clenched hand appeared from behind a door at the end of the corridor...

0.73km from WerkzeugHI checked in on Monday afternoon welcomed by the lovely smile of the lady owner of the B&B I was very impressed by the spotlessly clean hotel as its been very newly renovated . The room was very spacious I could accomodate even 7 more people If I wanted. The bathroom was ALWAYS clean, tidy and smell lovely and so does the toilet. Location wise its amazing especially for someone like me who never been to Austria Its very strategic and accessable to public transport in fact I spent most of my travel on foot. On the checkout I was offered to store my luggage until my travel time. I would definatly recommend Wienderland B&B its very reasonable price wise, friendly, clean, central and quiet little gem. Thank you for making my stay very comfortable.

0.77km from WerkzeugHSomebody else booked this hotel for us and I was initially concerned when I saw it was quite small and where it was located (not right in the centre of the city). However it turned out to be a very nice stay and the location was great. Webgasse is actually a very quiet street but leads onto one of the main shopping streets in Vienna (with better sales than London at the end of January). The nearest underground is 4 minutes from the hotel (Zieglergasse - only 4 stops to Stephansplatz) and the Westbanhof station is about 7 minutes away. The hotel itself has about 200 rooms and is separted into 2 areas for access with different lifts. The looby is mall but quiet. It is also super warm and cleverly supplies free tea and coffee 24 hours a day (an amazing feeling after 3 hours outside in -3C). The staff were very firendly. We had a superior double room and it was a good size. The bed was large and comfortable. The shower had instantaneous hot water and the bathroom floor was heated. The room itself was incredibly warm - so much so that we slept with the window open. The TV channel selection wasn't great though. The breakfast room wasn't huge but the selection was good and healthy with a mix of cereal, fruit, bread, eggs, waffles etc and you can eat as much as you want. If you want a more glamourous hotel close to the town centre and the palaces then this isn't for you. But for £80 per room B&B it was good value and very well located for movement around the city.
Hotels Near Werkzeugh In Vienna Review
The room size is small but very design, although the shower room is next to the big bed, but there is no sense of dampness. In the morning, the ground is basically dry. There is almost no noise in the hallway or out of the window, and the sound insulation is excellent. The horse-drawn specimen in the lobby is particularly eye-catching. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes 10 minutes to get to the most prosperous commercial street in Vienna, Graben Street, where luxury brands are available. Right 5 minutes to the Austrian supermarket chain Billa, less than 10 minutes to Karl. Square, U1/2/4 three subway lines can be transferred, very convenient. In fact, apart from Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna is slightly remote. Others such as the National Grand Theatre, the Golden Hall, Stephen's Cathedral, the Hofburg Palace and the Net Red Sacher Coffee Shop are all within two kilometers of walking units. In short, Ferdinand is very recommendable, good value for money. At check-in, you will be charged a pre-authorization deposit of EUR 100. The city tax will be charged upon check-out. We stayed for 5 nights and received 19.8 euros.
Good hotel in common.
Good breakfast, nice responsive staff, though a little unskillful (can't print a document out so that the image takes the whole list, not just a tiny space in the corner which is impossible to see and read), sauna, great design. The only issue is windows, which lack quality. They let cold and noise, cigarette smell go through into rooms from outside.
However in common we're happy with the stay.
After read a number of reviews, I really didn't know how I'd feel staying here. So what's good first; Staff were very friendly and helpful. As I entered the hotel, it was grand, nice enough with a grand piano there to add to the sophistication. The restaurant was nice, and lunch we had there was good. But Breakfast. Fantastic. Definitely 5 stars. Not an full Irish breakfast, but tis Europe after all and was a very nice buffet set up. Location is good, with the cities connections well flagged by other reviews. Right, the OK. Not bad. Just OK. We stayed on the 5th floor. And a review had refered to it already, but a slap of paint would not go astray, hall way and bedroom in total could do with an up-grade. Really not a 4 star hotel room. It wouldn't take much, but it would be grand for a group of lads on a stag, but definitely not for a romantic get away. That said. Bed was comfortable enough. TV, had 20 odd channels, only 3 news channels in English. No Kettle????? Why???? Anyway, ok price. Ok hotel. Good food. Good location. Would go elsewhere if/when I return to this beautiful city.
The room is really great, the view is great, the breakfast is also great, the view on the top floor is invincible, I also watched a sunrise, and I drank a glass of wine at night. There is a subway station opposite, one stop to Stephen's Cathedral, but two people should take a taxi, cheap and good cars. Rating 4.5, the pre-authorization deposit has not been released for half a month.
My husband son and I stayed at this hotel when first arriving into Vienna. The hotel itself is beautiful, lovely service and room was fantastic. We had a deluxe double room which was spacious and also came with tea coffee making. We had an extra bed for our son. Room was a big size for the three of us. Bathroom was really nice too all the amenities you need. We did not get breakfast while staying here it was expensive - instead choosing to have breakfast at cafe central which is a minute walk from hotel and reasonably priced ( cheaper than the hotel buffet breakfast at hotel ). We are generally not buffet style eaters preferring cereal or toast, eggs and coffee or juice so cafe central was perfect for us and an easy one min walk in the morning (not crowded at all on opening!). We also walked to another cafe one day which was great as well for a coffee and bread roll & egg/museli etc for 1/4 price. Hotel is in a great location in Vienna, the street was all lit up for Christmas too and Xmas markets within walking distance in all directions only a few minutes walk some smaller markets. The big Christmas market at the Rathaus was about a 10 min walk (a must with kids/teens) There is a great Italian restaurant a minute walk from hotel with some great dinner options as well. Cafes and restaurants are all within walking distance. Walk to St Stephens cathedral was maybe 5-10 mins. Also walking distance Hofburg palace was 2 mins from hotel. Overall great location lovely hotel. A star off for no heated pool though otherwise amazing hotel good location and would definitely stay again when in Vienna.
This hotel is pretty and the room is laid out well. But there were some maintenance issues that never got fixed. First, my safe in room 729. I couldn’t get reception to answer, (irritating) so I went there. The woman at reception said that someone could come assist, but maintenance wouldn’t be in until the next morning. She said that Vienna was a very safe city and there was no need for worry because there was never any crime of any kind. Also, they had a way of knowing who would go in the room. Inwardly, I rolled my eyes. If they know who goes in the room, if something was stolen, it’s my word against that person’s that this item was even in there. Besides that, the item would still be gone. Then when my boyfriend and I were arranging for a taxi, the bellhop informed us that taxi drivers in Vienna are notorious for ripping off tourists. No crime of any kind, ehh? I couldn’t get the faucets (in either sinks) to stop up and I needed to hand wash some items and soak something. Someone came up to show me, but he said after looking they weren’t designed to close. The next morning, after we returned from breakfast, the lock that you use to bolt the door had fallen and was preventing the door from being opened all the way. We asked housekeeping to help, but she couldn’t and called for someone to come up. Thirty mins later, no one had come, so back I went to the lobby and got the bellhop to call. He said there was no request in, so housekeeping hadn’t called. About five mins later, mtc came and unscrewed the bolt, allowing us to enter. While he was there, he tried to fix the safe, but even fresh batteries didn’t fix it. No one ever came to fix it. While the hotel is beautiful, there’s nowhere nearby to eat, no shopping, etc. (except a Starbucks and one bakery). The breakfast buffet is pretty weak for 25euros. We ordered off the menu and it took about 25 mins to get items that weren’t even cooked (cheese, ham, etc). (Meaning there would be no reason for the long delay.) My espresso was cold when I got it. I really want to end this on a good note, so let me say that the staff was really nice and the room was spotless. It was also quiet.
