Breakfast is very traditional and very American! Set this hotel for the second time, this set of river view room, nice view The front desk is always very warm and thoughtful, and it is difficult to take the initiative to help.

During or second visit to Greenville, we decided to try this Courtyard and love our room. The room is perfect and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and we loved the location which is within a short walk to: restaurants, breweries, shops, the Falls and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown last time, and no complaints with it either, however the room is nicer here. Parking is $12 per day. We didn't get daily maid service because of the 'Rona, but were able to get what we needed from the front desk. Highly recommend this place if you are visiting Greenville and want to be downtown and close to everything.

Location is perfect. Rooms very spacious and well appointed. Extremely clean. Lobby includes small bar with snack options. Breakfast was well laid out and there was plenty of room for socially distanced seating. Valet parking quick and and right at the door.

Overall, a good experience. We stayed in the Coach House at the Travelers Rest property. Booked day of and key code did not work on arrival. Called and Wendy very nicely let us in remotely. Went to dinner and came back 3 hours later and the key code still did not work. Sat in car 45 minutes waiting for someone to reply to voice mails and texts. Finally got a text with a key code, but no apology (a simple “so sorry” would have been really nice). Also, the info emailed with confirmation was for the Greenville property, not TR, so we were never able to get the password for WiFi. So, they have a few glitches to work on (maybe trying to manage more than they can handle). BUT, the property was cute and CLEAN and well set up - comfortable bed and pillows and thick towels, Keurig coffee maker, microwave and sm fridge. Probably will not visit TR again (we saw all there was to see in one afternoon), but would consider staying at the Greenville property, if reviews show that they have addressed these customer service issues.

During a pandemic you would expect hotels to take safety very seriously. That being said, we booked our stay here for a weekend trip from NC to visit/check on my mother in law whom we hadn’t seen since covid took over the world. We booked because of great reviews, the hotel being newer, and Hilton’s guarentee of extra cleanliness and disinfection (clearly a joke). When we arrived, front desk was the friendliest we’ve encountered and the lobby so nice, clean, and welcoming. However, it all ends there. Our experience has been so disappointing that I’m doing something I rarely do (leave a review) and something I’ve never done before -writing this while I’m at the hotel this very moment. Upon entering our room which had the seal of clean, the first thing we notice is food on floor and carpet.... Okay maybe we can live with the fact that housekeeping didn’t do a good job sweeping and vaccuming no biggie BUT it gets worse. We didnt expect we’d have to wipe down all those “surfaces“ that clearly didn’t get cleaned at all. From dirty table with crumbs, chairs with crumbs hair and greasy fingerprints, couch with hair and white foodlike substance on it, dirty desk and night stand surfaces, kitchen counters with coffee rings, fridge with hardened food particles and greasy fingerprints all over the handles, bathroom floor shower and toliet with hair and dirt, and the disgusting dirty mirrors with dirty smears and plaque and not just the bathroom mirror. Can’t forget to mention the dirty bathroom and kitchen handles. Nothing covered by the blue seal of commitment to cleanliness was clean. I’m exhausted at having to write these details but it’s important during a time like this that I share our experience. Omi (I believe that’s his name) was so apologetic, concerned, and worked swiftly to find us another room. His customer service was unmatched! We ran into a hiccup trying to move into another double queen room but he was able to put us in a king room and comp our first night. His customer service gave us a little more strength to deal with what we had no idea was still ahead of us and although a king was an inconveinance we were just greatful for how he handled the situation and hopeful that the new room would be clean. That being said, upon entering our new room, the floors were clean lol and it was not AS dirty (I can’t believe I’m actually comparing the uncleanliness of rooms at a hilton property during a pandemic)but the surfaces that should’ve had the extra attention were still dirty just not as dirty as the room before. For some reason I don’t understand why plaque and fingerprints on mirrors in a thing here. Toilet dirty, chair had crumbs, hair in shower and on bathroom floor, missing desk (which we planned on taking advantage of but oh well), anyway we were so exhausted last night we wiped down surfaces ourselves and just dealt with it since it wasn’t as bad. Soooo when it’s time to go to bed and we pulled back the sheets to our king bed and pull

This Residence Inn is located downtown in walking distance to the Falls Park on the Reedy. A must see if you are staying at this Residence Inn. Our room was very clean and fresh. We had a comfy king size bed and a full kitchen. Love the Keurig coffee maker in the morning with the supply of Kcups and a toaster! Great place to stay. The Fall are beautiful and there are many walking trails, shops, and an artist row. However, not many stores were open due to the virus. There were more people than we expected staying at the hotel. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Valet parking was closed but there was a parking garage across the street. A bit of an inconvenience. But workable. There were restaurants in walking distance and some shops were open but not many. People on the streets and outside restaurants wore masks. We would definitely go back to Greenville and stay at this Residence Inn.

I chose this hotel for a long weekend in Greenville based primarily on price and location. Compared to other hotels in the central downtown area, it was more reasonably priced. It was located about 1.5 to 2 blocks from Main Street, which is where the majority of the shopping and restaurants are located. It was about 4 - 5 blocks from the park & bridge over the Reedy River. Normally I think they are valet parking only, but due (I guess) to COVID, they did not do valet now. Instead, there is a 6-level parking garage across the street where you park (unlimited enter/exit for $7 per day). The only issue we had here was that once the card you use to exit didn't register; however, the hotel readily refunded that onto the bill. Check-in was fairly easy. There is a short drop-off lane in front of the hotel, so you can park there long enough to unload. Masks were required in public areas. In order to use the elevator you have to press a room key to a sensor while pressing your floor-button. The room itself was comfortable, though a bit oddly laid out (we thought). The mini fridge lacked a small freezer compartment, which would have been nice for freezing some leftovers for the drive home. They do not offer housekeeping now for stays under 7 days, but we made do. However, it would be nice if they added at least one additional towel bar in the bathroom in order to better dry towels (or you can request additional towels). There was an adjoining bar (which was open, and which served at least some food from what I saw). There also seemed to be a restaurant (which did not appear open). There was a complimentary breakfast each morning (7 a.m. M-F, 8 a.m. Sa/Su). Though masks were required, you could eat in that area (or on a partly covered outdoor area adjacent to the pool, depending on the weather). The breakfast selection was decent (bacon/eggs only on weekends). Overall, I didn't really have any real complaints during our ~ 3 day / 3 night stay. I'd consider returning here.

The people here are rude. The lady at the desk when we checked in told us breakfast ended at 10 am on weekdays, yet when we came down the next morning at 9 am they had already had the entire breakfast section cleaned up and gave my husband and I nasty looks and eye rolls when we mentioned we thought it was open later. The rooms were nice, there were some questionable things on a wall and door here and there that housekeeping missed, I just hope they remembered to change the sheets before we laid down. The location was beautiful. We drove down to Falls Park on the Reedy River before we realized we could have just walked! We took the car back afterwards and just walked to dinner, which was not the greatest but that's another review. The parking is mostly valet, unless you can find yourself a close enough spot somewhere else. We took the valet, and it seemed as though the price of the valet was already included in the price I paid to Trip.com! The gentlemen we so sweet, the only problem was one of them seemed to be sweating a LOT. We were afraid the car was going to smell from his sweat soaking into our seats! LOL. The lady at the desk when we checked out was the worst, she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude when I asked about the second charge on my bank account. She told me that it was an authorization charge, but guess what honey? It went through and I have been double charged for this room. I'm going to tell you right now it does not deserve that much money. A week after my trip, when the charge finally went completely through, I called the hotel and explained my situation and asked for a refund. She told me there must have been something wrong with the website I paid to and refused to look any further into it for me. So I called Trip.com and spoke to Yolanda. She heard what I was saying, told me she was going to call the hotel and get it straightened out, and when she came back she had the name of the person she spoke to at the hotel (Maria), told me Maria sees now how it was a mistake to charge me and is promising a full refund within a few days. Yolanda went above and beyond to make sure I got my refund. She could have just told me to call the hotel again and explain it better, but she took it into her own hands and got me what I wanted. The people at this hotel are awful, but the location is convenient and beautiful. If you are willing to deal with stupid people for the length of your stay, just keep in mind you might be like me and have to deal with them even a week after.

We spent 3 nights at the B & B. It was everything you want in a B & B! Cozy, warm and inviting rooms that are well maintained. The cleaning and care for rooms was outstanding. The innkeeper, Lori, was engaging, attentive and cordial. She provided great input for restaurants, day trips and local sites for visiting. She was never too busy with other things to spend time relating stories about the house or listening to our travel stories. The breakfasts were amazingly delicious and creative! The garden was a relaxing and peaceful experience every day. We are so glad we made the trip to Greenville and will be back again!

My husband and I recently stayed here for over a week. I cannot say enough nice things about this property. The rooms were big and clean. The staff was very careful about wearing their masks. The breakfast food was delicious with reasonable portions and they got every order right, every time. The location is right next to the interstate and is about a 15-minute drive into downtown. The attitude of the staff was a big plus for us. There was nothing that we asked for that they did not find a way to accommodate. If they couldn't do something they always said, "Well, I can't do that for you, but I can do this." That is the cardinal rule of good customer service. When I needed to start my online work at 5:45 a.m. they found an empty conference room for me to use so my husband could sleep. When my our schedules were complicated, they let us take our breakfasts to-go every morning for four straight days. Thank you to the front desk staff who learned our names after day #1 and actually read our Marriott Bonvoy profile & saw that we like foam pillows and extra towels. It was all waiting for us when we checked in. No other Marriott property has ever done that. Rebecca, Marion, Dale and Kenya, you are wonderful. Thank you to the breakfast staff who memorized all our meal preferences by day #2. Becki, Terri and Danielle, you three were a bright spot in our mornings. We can't wait to stay here again!

My company booked me for 2 nights at this hotel. I am normally a loyal Hilton Honors diamond customer, but occasionally stay at Marriott/Bonvoy on business. I was nervous staying in a hotel due to concerns over the current Covid-19 pandemic. I viewed the website and felt better when I read that they would provide sanitizing wipes in each room. When I arrived there were no wipes in the room. When I inquired at the front desk, I was told that they were on back order. The girl offered me a wipe sprayed with sanitizer to take back to my room and wipe down surfaces. When I got back to my room, I could hear the person in the room next to me having a phone conversation. He was loud and the walls were thin. He ended up hacking and coughing off and on all night overnight waking me up 2-3 times. I was shocked that with only 18 cars in the parking lot that the hotel chose to put people close together and right next door instead of spacing them apart given the pandemic. Overall, I am unhappy that Marriott stated something on their website that was untrue to make people feel safe to travel and stay in their hotels. If there are not sanitizing wipes in the rooms at all Marriott properties it should not be advertised! Also, if the properties are sparsely occupied then the guests should be spaced apart and not close together to limit people’s exposure to one another!!!! I would not return to this property or choose to stay in Marriott properties if given a choice.

I have been staying at the motel 6 on Wade Hampton for a few months . I go to the office about every 7 day's to extend my stay. I have not seen the office that clean in a few months. It smelled very clean when I went inside, and the stank bugs were gone. The outside of the office was clean. I updated my stay on October 7, 2020. So whoever motel 6 has working at the front desk now is making things look Lot better. She made my mood go from down to happy go lucky. Allowing her to be the face of motel 6 will bring in alot more revenue. She was kind and very helpful. She even went out her way to unlock my room door because my key was not working. I was considering moving motels, but I am going to stay now.

I stayed at the Candlewood suites Greenville two Fridays ago for one night due to a power outage at my house. It was a last-minute thing, and my main concern was finding a pet friendly place so I could bring my dog. I was happy with the stay overall. For those travelling with a dog, it doesn't get much easier than this. Just fill out a form and pay the reasonable pet fee. Service from the front desk agent Melissa was great. I had stayed here several years ago when it was first opened, and the rooms have aged well. Everything was clean and comfortable. My one suggestion was regarding sanitization given the current state of affairs. Guests want to be confident knowing essential touch points have been thoroughly cleaned. I saw no literature or any other assurance that things like remote controls had been sanitized. I would recommend placing the remote, and possibly towels and pillows in a plastic bag with a note indicating they've been handled with care and are germ free. Either that or a sticker or note indicating as such. I would have liked to see that and I'm not a germaphobe. I shared that feedback with the property via a survey, as I realize these are uncharted waters we're in. Overall I recommend this place and will book again when needed without hesitation.

I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff at this hotel is. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, but the staff really makes this place tick. We've never stayed at a hotel offering shuttle service to local restaurants and shops and then a pick up as well. And, everyone is so friendly and accomodating. Rashid (sp?) drove us to our destinations the first day we arrived and couldn't have been nicer. I wish we had seen him again to thank him. Jeanne stepped from behind the desk to help me when I was having trouble with printing from the hotel computer. Roc was another of our drivers who was, again, friendly and accomodating. But, the 5 stars really go to Lina who made our stay about the best we've had anywhere, and we've done considerable travelling. She recommended some excellent restaurants, drove us a couple of times and absolutely made our stay as good as it could be. Never had been to Greenville before, but we're ready to return. Thank you to everyone.

I booked a stay here, as I have done previously, through Booking.com.This unfortunately, is a Bad Review about the events that went on this morning on Saturday 5/9/2020. I reserved an additional night because I wanted rest before going out of town again. When I got off work at 6:30 a.m, I went to the front desk to let the front desk know I will booked an additional stay (was a black woman) She verified my reservation and asked was I gonna be using the same card on file? I confirmed to her that I will be. She printed out the damaged property terms and conditions sheet to initial 2x’s and sign, as well as asked me how many key cards I needed, and handed me a new keycard for my room. Well I go to sleep but I am shortly interrupted by aggressive knocking at my door. I get up throw on some clothes and it’s housekeeping (Mexican rude lady) She saying something about she doesn’t have paper’s confirming me staying here...I informed her that I booked additional night and then she says something else that I wasn’t able to make out. I asked for a towel and wash cloth and she handed it to me and I went back to sleep. Now the second time I’m interrupted by a even louder more aggressive knock at around 11 a.m by some girl (white lady with blonde hair) she is speaking rude as hell to me and acting unprofessional as hell. She’s telling me that “We have your reservation but You Didn’t Pay so You need to come down here and take care of this payment right now!!! ”.(in a demanding ass tone, as if I am not grown!) I go down to the front to confront this lady to tell her that I went through all this with the black lady earlier this morning, she is giving me the nastiest attitude and saying that I didn’t and I asked why would I have an additional keycard than...this girl than tells me my number on file is invalid because she tried calling me twice about the matter. Uhmmm....I work at night so I have it set to DND, she needs to learn the difference between the number no longer being in service and calls being forwarded to Voicemail. Once again I had to sign this sheet of paper and get handed a 3rd keycard to the room. To say I am frustrated, highly upset, disappointed, irate, and just beyond in dissatisfied is an understatement. I have always felt good about staying at this hotel but today it has really put a disgusting taste in my mouth. I feel that every single person from the time I originally communicated with up to the little blonde no brains little girl needs to get fired because obviously nobody is doing their job right. All of this could have been avoided had the First Lady done what she was supposed to be doing. The housekeeper lady needs to learn English if she gonna try and act like someone is really trying to hold a hotel room hostage!! An that blonde little girl...she doesn’t need to work for this type of establishment if she can’t act like a professional with common sense because had I been someone else.....she would have been dealt with. Upon arrival, Lindy checked us in with a smile and kind greeting. Throughout the visit, she continued to be a responsive presence and was quick to answer any questions and concerns we had. She was the highlight of our stay! The facility was pet friendly and had resources available for a comfortable stay with pets as well. The noise from the hallway with doors slamming shut at all hours and people hanging out in the stairwell partying was a negative. One evening, as our car was parked just outside our room, we caught a group of working men casing our car and drinking and playing loud music from a speaker system they set up in the parking lot. We have this visit a 3 out of 5 stars in favor of the helpful and pleasant staff who made up for the noise and riff raff issues.

The Hilton Garden Inn is on the developed side of Carolina Point Parkway, which is a spur off Woodruff near where I-85 intersects. There are other hotels on the same side of the street, but vacant acreage on the other side. No restaurants currently within walking distance. The hotel has a nice EV feature - 6 Tesla charging stations on one side of the hotel. However, every electric vehicle manufacturer (except Tesla) uses the SAE J1772 connector, which I needed for my electric vehicle, so this was unfortunate. What made it seem unfair is the hotel has recently added a $5 per day parking charge, which I wasn't aware of until checkout. Another surprise on the bill was a destination marking fee, which I think should have been included in the pricing, so it would not be another surprise at checkout. The room itself was clean, and due to COVID-19, no maid service and no restaurant service was provided, although the bar was open 5pm to 10pm. I was surprised they didn't offer take away bags for breakfast, similar to Hampton Inns. Room amenities were standard Hilton Garden Inn, bathroom had shower only, plenty of hot water. My only negative about the room was it seemed the lighting was dim. AC worked fine, Keurig was provided. I may stay again if and when I buy a Tesla, but other hotels in the area have charging stations for my car now, so this would be a deciding factor for me for future stays. The surprise charges also dropped the rating one star.

I often book hotels using one of the "buy first--see what you got" websites and for the most part been I have satisfied with the value. Now, though, if I see a Fairfield Inn in the area in which I plan to be, I will just book it and forget about the lottery. The Fairfield Inn can't be beat for service and value. This particular hotel, according to its website, has been renovated. Now that can mean anything from a slapped on paint job to pretty major work. In this case, I thought until I read the website description later that the hotel was new. New carpet, new bathrooms, new furniture, new everything, Which also means that it was immaculate. A really happy surprise was the breakfast, and not because it was the usual hot breakfast which the Fairfield serves and which in the past I have found to be excellent, but because it was available at 4:30 AM when I went down to catch the (free) airport shuttle which the desk clerk had booked for me the night before. I've never seen any sort of hotel breakfast at 4:30--maybe a cup of coffee if you're lucky--and this wasn't a bacon and eggs spectacular, but juice, muffins, doughnuts, coffee, and two or three cereals were available, along with a smiling breakfast lady. And that to me is sort of amazing at that time of day, Finally, I saw a couple of reviews complaining about paying for wi-fi. I complain about that, too, when it happens, so when I saw on my bill that I had been charged for data use whereas that had never happened in the past. I called the hotel and was told Fairfield offers two types of data service (and I would have known this without calling had I been paying attention to what I was doing)--one "high speed" for heavy data use like downloading a lot of files and one "regular" which is good enough for emails and web surfing. The high speed costs $4.95 and the regular is free. Apparently, I had been asleep at the switch and selected the high speed, which I didn't need, and that explained the fee. The clerk deleted the charge from my bill without any hassle or argument and while $5 won't make the Fairfield Inn or break me, I really appreciated the hotel's accommodating my negligence. I had a room with a king size bed and pull out couch, which was a lot more than I needed but would be an even better deal for someone travelling with a wife and kid or two. All in all, a great stay with nice people at a reasonable price.

The room looks fairly new and well maintained. The bed is soft. Internet connection is strong. The hotel itself is in a decent location, near the freeways. What I like is the staff. Ms. Bobby, and Ms. Inez take running the hotel very seriously, and will help out in any way. Lisa, even though is new, puts in a lot of work, and many hours. If you are in Greenville, this is the place to stay. They offer the best price for this rating in the area. The air conditioner is cold enough, unlike some hotels that don't really get that cold. They give you sanitary wipes when you check in. Another thing is, a lot of things in Greenville are open, so you will be able to get more done compared to up north where a lot of things are closed, and services are limited.

The room was spotless; the bed was comfy; the lighting was great. However (and as the website still touts), there is NO breakfast; the pool is CLOSED; the fitness center is CLOSED. (These are amenities I use and that influence my choice of hotel.) I travel a lot, even during the pandemic. As I make my own arrangements, I cannot call every business I patronize to verify the claims on their websites. In the time it took me to write this review, La Quinta / Wyndham could have posted a short notice on the hotel website that these amenities are temporarily unavailable. La Quinta and Wyndham reputations have just lowered a category to this Wyndham Platinum Rewards member. I feel sorry for the front desk staff that had to clarify this discrepancy to me and for any other guests that may ask.

This hotel has a special dining option Wednesday nights for guests. This is an offer that I am seeing at various residence inns I have stayed at and have been impressed with. There are other restaurants that are local and it is very easy to find. The breakfast looked great with a large dining area. I was very impressed with the room and amenities. This was a definite experience with staff and that interaction made me have this hotel as my go to in the Greenville area. So, great for the airport, as a stopover if traveling. Also about 20 minutes to the USCIS immigration office at Greer by car. Now my go to when traveling in the Carolinas.

It is very close to Highway 85 and less than one kilometer from the expressway. There are many Western-style fast food restaurants nearby, such as McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. The room was ok, the mattress was messy and it was very comfortable to sleep.

While I don’t check out until tomorrow morning I am reviewing with confidence that checkout will be as seamless and excellent as my stay so far. The staff was very courteous and professional upon checkin and thoroughly explained everything that I needed to know for my stay. The room was perfectly prepared prior to my arrival. The full apartment size fridge was perfect for keeping drinks cold and ready during my extended business trip stay. The staff in the breakfast area was extremely accommodating to my requests. This is my first stay and a Staybridge but will certainly not be my last. Be sure to consider this location when you are in the area!

Brand new property located in one of the busiest streets of Greenville. Lots of shopping and food options around. Conveniently located next to I-385. As soon as I checked in I could see plenty of hand sanitizer around front desk. Staff is well aware of special needs due to Coronavirus. Breakfast was well appointed. Thanks for a great stay!
