The metro line D, which links directly to the centre, is less than 200 metres away, recommended 24 hours ticket to freely tour with all the means of the city. In many local areas, we had dinner from Monplaisir Côté Cour and we were very good. The air conditioning was negative, really very noisy, so much that it could not be used during the night, and this, in very warm nights, is a really serious limit. Other details: The exhaust was unconnected from the command behind the rubber, the lower shower support was broken, the pillow was only hanging up. Breakfast is excellent even if it is lacking for salt, lacking any salsa and making only eggs, sauces, bacon and a couple of cheeses available. I would still use this hotel, with the reservation of testing the air conditioning before taking the room.

All in all a good, cheap and centrally located hotel on a very good 3-star level. The following points in particular attracted positive and negative attention: The electrics could be revised. Sockets are partly installed shakily, but basically - except for the area by the bed - there are enough. A typical French studio: bathroom and toilet separate, the rest with kitchen all in one room. The bed is big, cozy and firm. Pillows unfortunately only 'plastic' filling, are very bad. After all, there are two different sizes, but they don't tear it either. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, crockery, pots and a real refrigerator. Extra costs apply: visitor's tax (€2.50/day) and for the kitchen (€25 if you don't clean yourself). In principle, there is no cleaning for stays of less than 7 days. Only 2 towels per person (when booking as a single person, double the equipment is retained). The towels are only exchanged at the reception. A very small TV (especially when viewed from the bed). Several storage options, but overall too few - and no intermediate compartments or drawers in the cupboards. Good (French!) breakfast, very well set until the end at 10 a.m. Inside the room: Huge floor-to-ceiling windows let in a lot of light. The room is big and high. The area is relatively quiet for the area. There are schools and other educational institutions nearby, which is audible but subtle enough. No safe/locker in the room. Easily accessible by subway (line D) and relatively close to the center (3 short stations). Hotel near the ”Central Station” Gare Dieu. Free WiFi, fortunately no open WiFi, router hanging in the room, WPA2, 5 GHz, around 50 MBit/s via WiFi, at least two RJ45/LAN plugs are available. Overall quite cheap for France, for a big city and for the quite central location. More of a good to very good 3-star hotel, four are too many in my opinion. Just small hand soap and screwed on shower gel. Bathtub is available. Bad German translations in the brochures, instructions and signage. Poorly lit sink with the large wall mirror. Tap water is not suitable as drinking water. Modern ensemble, but it could use some renovation. The parquet is also worn.

Location-wise I'm not sure - it really depends on what you are in Lyon for probably. Should be easy enough to get into the city center, though for a tourist I would probably only choose this place because of price as it's not really in the center. This looks like a bit of an older Mercure - at least the rooms - but nothing could be faulted on the service. Very nice people at check-in / check-out. Seemed like a noisy hotel downstairs in the lobby every time (people having a good time I'm sure) but it was quiet enough in the room. The room was quite nice too, bit of a special layout but I like that. Good bed, good wifi, good enough bathroom. Would I go back? If I had to be near it, definitely would. Though it wasn't so exceptional that I wouldn't also look at other places before deciding :)

Good location close to mini market, opera house and Bachut tram stop. If we point out the friendliness and passiveness of the cleaning staff, such as blood stains around the SDB switch, it can be cleaned within an hour, for example. The food was not tested because accommodation = studio. Cleaning the ”corners” is not a luxury, for example: child stickers left on full-length mirrors and radiators, dirty elevator light panels, this is the 3 * range of the viewfinder. Television: Disconnected 5 basic TNT channels and many foreign channels at night. At the reception: no one can depart from the station at 1:30 pm on Christmas day and can take luggage between noon and 2 pm, so we drag the suitcase because we have to leave before 11 am. Too bad, because the taxi stand is just opposite. Quiet accommodation, if you are on the street, you can find it in the noisy garbage collection.

My experience in the Odalys Bioparc was terrible. As soon as we arrived to the hotel we were welcomed by a quite rude receptionist. The sign with her name had the UK flag which one would believe that means that she speaks English. However, don’t fool yourself, the only thing she knows how to say in English is the memorize speech she was given for those who don’t speak French. After being obliged to pay for the city tax, which was supposed to be included, and for which we are still waiting for the invoice, we went to the room. The room was dirty, being full of spots on the carpet and with spider webs in the kitchen. One of the lamp was faulty and was always flashing and the other had fungi and some other insects, which means that it wasn’t cleaned for a long time. Finally, one of the bed sheets was also full of spots and hair. For a client the room was not presentable and when confronted with that the not so nice receptionist said “I can’t do anything” acting very confused as if she didn’t understand what we were speaking in English. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a somewhat reasonable accommodation in Lyon since it’s not prepared to host any guests and it is also located well away from the city center.

Staff was really kind and helpful, even with our lost luggage that Air France send them after we left the hotel (Air France mistake), they kept them for 24hours to let us time to pick them up. Else, room was compliant with the pictures. Comfy bed. We did not used the kitchen to cook during our one night stand, but it looked functional.

Was just for a transit night so expectations weren't too high. Weird structure with room window on a huge, inner central hall without natural light. Not the configuration I'm fond of. Despite cold winter ambient temperatures and even without heating this also made the room too warm! At least ventilation was too limited and curtains would be necessary to have privacy. Room was still comfortable and well equiped thus a failry good value for money. Railway station is a good 15-20 minute walk away since the boulevard was made messy by many road works, often without luggage-rolling-friendly walkways, busy and bumpy. Staff at front desk was friendly and did their best to give me a room not too far from elevators and then exit to go smoking - still a long way to go!

The hotel is located in the heart of Lyon, just a 5 minute walk from the central square and shopping streets. There are a variety of specialty shops in the shopping street, big-name luxury jewelry and ZARA, HM, etc., although not comparable to the Paris store, the goods are all, but the basic models are available to meet the basic shopping needs. The most acclaimed hotel is the breakfast, on the top floor of the hotel, with a view of the Rhone River through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The breakfast is extremely rich, because it is the holiday season, breakfast is delayed until 11 o'clock, you can rest assured that you can take a nap and slowly enjoy a fine brunch.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes from the shopping spots on the other side of the river. Life is convenient, there is an Uexpress supermarket downstairs, you can buy fruits, yogurt, super delicious. Must be freshly squeezed juice, cheap and delicious! The room is not big, but each double bed is 1.5 meters wide. It is no problem for two people to sleep on the same bed. It is a good news for families with children. The room is very clean. Although it is not very high-end, it is not bad.

We chose the hotel for our 3-day stay in Lyon as the location was close to the train station (5 minutes by tram to Liberté), and allowed easy transit and walking access to other popular spots in the city. The Junior Suite provided great views of the Fourvière Basilica (especially at night). The room was equipped with a small fridge that we used to chill our wine and treats. The neighbourhood was surprisingly quiet. We had a great time in Lyon, and would stay at this hotel again.

The best thing is to have free parking spaces, which are really rare in the city, but the parking spaces are first come first served. If you arrive in the evening, it is basically impossible, and it is recommended to stop the car and don't drive. It is not convenient to drive in the city. The room is small and the design is not very reasonable. The 7-day standard is still equipped with a sink in the corridor. It is better to use the space in the area near the bed. The service is reduced because there is always no one at the front desk. I want to check out twice and can't find anyone. I really don't want to take the time to put the key at the front desk. The location is convenient, next to the literary and art neighborhood, in fact, the feeling of the cement forest, in a building and patio that is abandoned and actually lives, there are many graffiti, standing in the parking lot can see the river opposite.

We had been travelling in the South of France for 9 days when we arrived in Lyon to stay in this beautiful hotel. The location near the funicular and the Roman museum/amphitheatre was perfect. Literally 10 minutes interesting walk downhill to the old town. But it was a struggle to ever leave. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable, the pool area(which we were the only occupants of) was so relaxed. The breakfast delicious. But it was the ever helpful, professional, delightful staff that made the whole experience. The concierge made excellent walk/meal suggestions and she so patiently explained the easiest way to find places. The breakfast staff couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating. Actually every staff member we encountered was delightful as if they really wanted us to have the best possible stay in this exquisite hotel We rarely return to a place, but it would be worth returning to Lyon just to stay here!

I booked this hotel for 3 nights from 25 to 28 October on their website (price was better than on booking.com). Before check in hotel preautorized amount for first night. During check in, the woman didn’t speak English (on the wall there is a sign ‘English spoken’), tried to take this amount again. After my refuse, she agreed to take the other payment and COMPLETE preautorization. But the amount of the first night was double charged. The other day I talked with English speaking receptionist and he confirmed that they didn’t complete that pre authorization, but took another sale and I have to wait to get money back when it will be unfrozen. After explaining that usually in all the world the preautorization can be cancelled by pos machine, that guy MADE one more preautorization for the amount of first night!!! After calling to manager, he said ‘sorry, but we can’t cancel not the preautorization before arrival day, not the one that I did by mistake now’. I asked for solution, but he just said sorry, that he can’t do anything and the manager whom he called is not interested in fixing this problem because it’s a Sunday evening. What the hell?? Firstly woman who has no idea and no language skills made the payment without explanation, second the other staff made a mistake and all they can do is ‘sorry but I can’t do anything’?? Is this the European level of hospitality?? Even for 2 star hotel is terrible service. The room was okay, but there is no window, instead of it there is a second door without lock, but with jaloezie. No fridge in the room. Room is on the ground floor. I expected that facilities and service is for 2 star and I would not complain. But absolute indifference of problem solving and unprofessionalism of staff, unwillingness of fixing the issue on the manager’s level are just shocking.

Good location within walking distance of everywhere. Good breakfast with nice assortment of items you would expect in a European hotel. The room was about the size of a standard cruise ship room, about 2 feet on each side of the bed and very cramped. Nicely updated bathroom with rain shower and shower wand and good water pressure. Big door to the bathroom opens in and if you are standing in front ot the sink, it is difficult to close unless you step into the shower. They should have used a pocket door. Very little space next to the sink. Air conditioning condensation leaked down the wall and soaked part of the carpet. Like most hotels, they only provided one luggage rack for 2 guests. Night stands shaped like mushrooms, stylish but not very functional. No laundry stain in the shower. Adequate power outlets and 2 USB ports next to the bed to charge phones. Good internet. Desk is a small oval table about 2 feet wide by 3 feet long, very small. Desk chars are padded stools with no back. There were power outlets next to the desk. I don't know the price because we were on a tour.

The location of the hotel is very good, just by the river, it should be newly renovated, the sanitary ware is very new and the bathroom is very large. Especially the hotel staff Lulu is very nice, try to help the Chinese. The hotel is also very design, and the small living room on the second floor is especially suitable for families. Great breakfast, freshly squeezed juice

It was great!! Love to come back some day ❤️ The location, rooms, view, breakfast. The best place to visit Lyon (great city). The hotel gives you the feeling of visiting a dear friend who is happy to see you. We could even charge our electric car at the hotel 😁👍 Thanks for everything 🙌🏽
