Thanks to Novotel for good service and cozy accommodation, that has brought the real feeling of the city. Location is absolutely cool, especially for those who like shopping, plus near the Sky train station, which is very comfortable for traveling around Bangkok. Starbucks 24 is literally in front of the hotel, and for me as for Starbucks fan it was big plus. Food is a bit not in my style. Too much of Thai food and almost no choice for healthy food lovers. Check in counter staff is not helpful, we 3 persons stay in executive floor with lounge access. She highly recommended us to change to a pool room. She said the room we stay is small, she highly recommended us to change a pool room which is bigger for us, but the room charges need to add a lot. We said we just stay one night, and will go around the shopping areas, no need to change. She became not satisfied and impolite. When asking whether can late check out, she said the hotel is full, only half more hour is allowed. The next morning, I asked another lady for late check out, she allowed more time to us. We stayed in this hotel many years ago when it was newly opened. The circular bath at the centre of the room was a new design to catch our attention. The Sky Lounge is also an icon of roof top bar in Bangkok. We chose this hotel again this time in order to refresh our memory. The location of this hotel is still great as we loved the big malls surround it. Room size is good but I think the interior needs refurbished as furniture is wear and tear over the years. Drainage of the bathroom is slightly clogged due to hair residues, we need to clear the hairs each time after showers. Hope that the Houses Keeping will remind the room caretakers to take care of this area as well.
On the whole we have a good time staying in this hotel.

Wevare a grouo of five ti revisit this hotel, we went with one elderly and two young kids, the room are huge abd the beds are comfy. Breakfast and food for lunch or dinber are delicious. However, the amenties are very limit, they expected us to share a very mini bottke of shampoo, body wash and conditioner for every teo persons, which this set are good enough for one person to use, especially we havecteo persons in long hair. On the 1st day when i checked in at night, i freaked out. The place is run down. The corridor was dark and quiet with the old flooring, old wooden doors and torn wall. And there was totally no lights at the stairs. Once i entered the room, the deco was old which makes it even more creepy. But the next day when there was sunlight, it looks alot less creepy and i began to feel at ease. Apart from the creepy 1st impression, the place has some good points like a good location which is just beside the bts and within walking distance to malls. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cleanliness level is acceptable. But do take note to stay in rooms away from the bts station as it can be noisy. Overall, for this price, it's a pretty ok dealFromUS$16.00

With direct connection to MBK Center and BTS station, the premise is in an excellent location for me who is travelling with a kid.
The room is newly renovated, spacious, and functional. The variety of food offered in breakfast is also very good.
All the staffs we encountered are friendly and helpful.
One negative point is that the toilet always have a very bad smell, which I suspect was coming from the drainage of the wash basin. In addition, the water in the bathing area is not draining well, possibly because the floor is too flat which does not faciliate the water flow. Hotel room lobby and room are clean and spacious. Good for kids too. It is still has ongoing renovation so there is some noise during daylight. But because of its good location (walking distance to mbk and bts), you will not notice it. Service was good. It has a great industrial architecture design. Breakfast was ok, but they only served the instant coffee that is included on the voucher we bought on the lobby. Need to remind them to refill the water and coffee in the room. Only faults are that there are no lifts so expect hi climb the stairs and the bathroom is very small with shower pouring into toilet seat. The place is literally within walking distance from MBK, where you can do your shopping and jump on the BTS train to other parts of the city. Hua Chang (Elephant) Pier where you can take water taxi is just around the corner at the other direction. There are a number of restaurants on the same road. Across the bridge (near the pier) you will find thai restaurant and bar too. The hotel itself has a laundry shop attached, and only 100 bath per kg, very convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave me a free upgrade from a room with single bed to double bed, and when I wanted a room with a view (window of the first room was facing another wall), they obliged too. Excellent service, staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel and all inferior is new, except the control button for window curtain in the room does not really work. I had to press for several times. Room is sound-proofed with exceptional city view. I really enjoyed the view at night. The minor thing is that the chinese restaurant and skybar didnt open on the date we stay at the hotel so we couldn't experience that. But overall experience here is good, worth the money :)

I choose this hotel because the staff are friendly and helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is located near to Huai Khwang MRT (Blue line) thus making commuting more convenient especially in Bangkok traffic. The room is well maintain and comfortable. The hotel has excellent security, cleanliness, and the location is great. It is convenient to go out to find food / to stay in the hotel for take-out. There are many snack stalls / fruit stalls nearby, and there are also pharmacies and super near 711 (after leaving the gate) There are really too many 711s within a hundred meters, at least five); turn right and you can quickly walk to the street where the overpass is located. I changed to a double room because I lived alone. The interior of the room is a compact type I like (although it is more compact but has all the necessary facilities); breakfast is included with the reservation. Breakfast time is 6: 00-10: 00am. There is no chance to eat (it's too late).
Next, I will say a few features of the hotel: the rooms are not central air-conditioned but the independent air-conditioning in each room. This is very important at the moment; the check-in area and my hotel room are not in the same building, almost all The front desk staff speaks at least three languages, Thai, English, and Chinese. The sisters at the front desk who check in are fluent in Chinese and can communicate without barriers. There is a printer at the front desk of the building where my room is located. I would like to consult a nearby print shop. At the time, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic and helped me print a few times, and when I consulted information other than their agent (such as I want to take a photo of the ID), I also actively gave suggestions and directions, heard that my computer could not be charged, and immediately borrowed Give me the plug converter, the service sense is really excellent. Another point to note is that my room is located on the second floor outside the street, so I can hear the sound of singing all day long on the street shops.
