Hotel design is simple, but remarkable.
The only comment is the lack of hot drinking water. There is no water boiler in the room (seems most hotels in Europe are the same).
It is quite inconvenient in the cold season.

The bed is very comfortable and breakfast is great with a lot of things to choose from. Wifi works well. Be aware that if you arrive after 23:00 you need to make a call to another hotel to receive the key for getting inside and in your room. Walking distance from everything in the city centre.

|0.52km from city centerThis was our 1st stop duering our recent tour of Austria & what a great start ! After a 3hr train journey from Vienna through stunning scenery we arrived at Graz station. The hotel didnt appear to be far & only having hand luggage decided to walk which took us about 15mins. The hotel is convenient located near the old town with views over the river. Check in was both friendly & efficient which was appreciated as we had been travelling since early hours from the UK. We was very pleased with our room, bed was comfortable & our bathroom both roomy & well appointed. Duering our 2 day stay we very enjoyed our breakfasts served in the conservatory & I thought that the drinks we had in the hotel bar were very reasonable. There are terraced rear gardens with fabulous views & an outside pool but we resisted the temptation for a dip as it was mid February & about -4C 😁

Very good location, very close to the main attractions, walking distance, a little far from the castle. The room service was a bit patchy - one day no towels, another day tea and coffee not replenished. The parking was also not ideal - I booked this hotel because it had hotel parking. I arrived around 10pm and was told the car park was full and I'd have to find somewhere to park myself either on the road outside or search the internet for a car park close by! Not really what I wanted to hear having travelled for around 12 hours - fortunately there was one remaining space fairly close which was a relief. We were lucky for the remainder of our stay that we managed to get a space in the undeground car park. If you do get a space the car park is really good - well lit, modern and easy to park with good room for each parking space. Overall our stay was ok.

Hotel location: The location of the hotel is not very good. It is a certain distance from Castle Hill and the central square. After crossing the river, you can walk for about 20 minutes.
Regarding parking: the hotel has an underground parking lot with sufficient parking space, 15 euros a day. After telling the front desk, it will be settled together with the room fee. You will be given a card to be collected and you can scan the code when you go out.
Hotel hygiene: The hotel is relatively clean, and there are extrusion facilities, but the room is very compact, not enough to open two 28-inch suitcases

This was not on the cleaning team but on the reception/management which allowed the former guest to occupy the room until 17:00 (instead of only 12:00). The wish of the previous guest was therefore on the expense of the new guest. The greetings at 13:45, 17:25 and 17:50 are somewhat excited accordingly; a friendly, warm ”Welcome” is different.
When checking out, a tax will be due even though the bill has already been charged when booking. This could have been mentioned on the booking confirmation or elsewhere or at the latest when checking. Thus, when we adopt a decision, we are in a disappointing situation in the form of a discussion with a tough, brumous, apparently disturbing receptionist.
The room is fully equipped: If the bathtub is to be used as a shower, a robust stop for safety would be advantageous when (glish) out.
Location: in foot distance to the train station, well reachable with tram, not too far from the center, corresponding to some (but not really much) road noise until 24:00 and from 5:30.

However, there were some drawbacks to consider: -The breakfast, albeit costly, was only average in quality. -Families with children might find the pool less suitable. -The sauna's limited opening hours (starting at 17:00) might not suit everyone. -Note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. - Strange smell from AC in the last day In conclusion, despite a few minor downsides, I would certainly recommend this hotel based on our experience.

|1.31km from city centerI do not recommend staying at the B&B Hotel - Graz Hbf -- details are below, but to sum it up, the condition of the hotel room was not appropriate for guests and we should not have been booked, and nothing was done to resolve the horrible smell in the room. My family and I booked two rooms for a weekend in July to stay in Graz to attend the Austrian Grand Prix, and have a hotel in close proximity to the train station. Because there were 4 people in our group, we needed to book two rooms. We were traveling with our young children so we requested rooms near to each other and were assigned rooms next door to each other. The smell and odor in one of the rooms that I was staying in with one of my children was horrible. It was coming from the shower drain, like something was rotting or clogged in there. It smelled as though someone vomited or put something decaying in the shower drain, along with cigarette smoke. It made the entire room smell disgusting. I spoke to the front desk attendant on Saturday morning and was told housekeeping would attend to it immediately. When we returned Saturday evening after being away all day, the smell was still overpowering. I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done for us. I had the nighttime desk attendant come up to smell the room. I again spoke to the front desk attendant on Sunday morning and was told the room had been checked but nothing could be done. I asked her to please go into the room to understand the terrible smell and to move our room for Sunday night. We were moved to another room that evening since there were rooms available then. Even though it was not very warm outside, both rooms were also very warm, the air conditioning not appearing to be working. The windows did not have screens on them, so if we opened them to try to cool off the rooms (and also to air out the smell in the one room), the room would fill with moths. The condition of the one room was not appropriate for a guest to stay in, and it was an even bigger problem that no one could do anything to fix it. The multiple people at the hotel desk that we spoke with said nothing could be done because it was a weekend and the hotel was full on the Saturday evening. We were unable to sleep because the rooms were so warm and the smell in the one room made us feel ill. They could not provide a cot or roll-away so that all of us could stay in one room instead. I was later told by the hotel management: ”On Saturday morning the room was immediately checked after you spoke with the front deck, and the shower drain was opened and deeply cleaned. We just found out later that it didn't help, as it should, because a brand new part of the drain was needed.” Clearly from this message, there was a serious issue with the plumbing in the room. The condition of the room was not appropriate for guests to stay in it, and we should not have been placed there. I do not recommend this hotel, as it was also our most expensive hotel stay during our

Im Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Infrarot, Solarium fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und das Frühstück weit über meinen Erwartungen. Einen kleinen Kräutergarten am Buffet hatte ich wo anders noch nie gesehen, das Buffet selbst umfasst alles, was ich gerne mag und noch mehr. Im Doppelzimmer ca. 100,- Euro günstiger als ein Hotel im Zentrum bei vergleichbaren Leistungen.

Clean, modern, air conditioned and comfortable room and bathroom. Lovely bar area, helpful bar staff & good selection of drinks and fairly priced. The breakfast was outstanding, great selection of hot and cold foods (and fried eggs if you ask) Lots of healthy choices including a variety of fresh fruit and DIY vegetable juice. Good coffee but poor 'juice', more like squash. Also really enjoyed to be able to take our drinks and breakfast outside. Location was 15 min walk to town or a tram from outside the hotel. Excellent value for money, think we got a really good rate!

|1.65km from city centerStayed here for one night in April 2023 and thought it was fine. There is still reconstruction work going on on floor 1 but we didn't hear it. Did I hear it on the weekend? No. The junior suite was absolutely fine with a little balcony and a table outside. I am surprised this hotel doesn't have better reviews on here. POSITIVES: The room was very nice, bed was comfy and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent too. It is about 5 minutes to walk to the number 6 tram at the Friedhof St. Peter (Cemetery) stop from Moserhofgasse - this gets you into the city very quickly. NEGATIVES: There are only 5 very minor negatives about the stay here, which is the reason it only gets 4 out of 5. 1. Parking charges - you are nowhere near the middle of Graz but they would like you to park in their garage at a cost. Alternatively they offer you green zone parking on the street outside which is free, but only at the weekend. Why on earth they cannot come to some deal with the the BILLA supermarket next door is beyond me, as BILLA car parks are never full up. 2. The pillows were stupidly squashy and there were no spares/extra pillows in the room. 3. We were not offered a Wifi password when we arrived and used BILLA free wifi next door instead. 4. No spoons in the room. Granted they have a very nice Nespresso coffee machine and capsules but no spoons or stirrers for the coffee. The advert stated the room had a fridge - it didn't. 5. The HOTEL TV is a nuisance as the remote didn't work, neither did the HDMI socket. Why hotels switch off HDMI sockets on TVs is ridiculous - this is 2023 and we can bring our own devices, watch what we want on them and be able to plug them into the TV in the hotel. They need to fix this and regularly check their remote controls. If you are stuck for something to do on a Sunday, the Grazer Trödlermarkt (Fleamarket) is within walking distance of this hotel and although you probably won't buy anything, it is a real trip down memory lane looking at all the old junk that they have for sale there.
