We arrived in Alkmaar not really knowing what to expect other than it being a rather small picturesque city ,37km north of Amsterdam. I booked a 3 night stay in the Amrath Hotel as part of a package included on the Expedia site, and found that it was within walking distance (7minutes), from the Alkmaar station which was extremely convenient as we were carrying baggage and so didn’t need to hail for a taxi. On arrival we were met by an extremely helpful young lady at the reception desk who was able to advise us on some the highlights we could expect to find in the town as well as issuing me with pocket map that she circled in biro to show our proximity from some of the major sites. Our room was on the fourth floor which was easily accessible via the lift in the main hall next to reception. The room was terrific & very spacious, it included a jacuzzi bath, large outdoor area, as well as a big sofa and two enormous flat screen TVs plus the bed was lovely and comfortable. I think it must have been a fairly quiet period (cheese festival later on in March)-as didn’t notice many other guests, but I’m sure it gets busier towards the summer months. All in all I thought it was one of cleanest and friendliest hotels I’ve stayed in, with great access to the old town and train station. Would thoroughly recommend staying at the Amrath Hotel if you’re visiting Alkmaar for a few days.

Disregard the negative views of this hotel or look at the dates they were written. We were there the first week in October and found the staff very friendly and informative, the bed comfortable, and the room very clean though small. Breakfast which was included included eggs, bacon, croissants, rolls, two types of bread, sliced meats, cheeses, cucumber and tomatoes, cereals, yogurt, juice, and coffee or teas. It was more than adequate and could only be small if you wanted it to be. The only drawback was the limited parking, but ask and they will direct you to a lot costing 4 Euros for 24 hours, and only 4 minutes walk away. This hotel, across from the train station, is very convenient for travelers, and also close enough to walk into the old town of Alkmaar, a delightful place. We will be going back to this hotel and town.

For a motel/hotel this is great value and caters for accommodation on a budget with 8 bed dorm rooms an option. Great location just by the Cheese Market and a 10 minute stroll to the railway station. I have just booked again three double rooms for family travelling from London staying in 3 twin rooms it was cheaper than anywhere around including Airb&b. Some rooms are right in the canal, but the entire property is extremely charming.

perfect location facing the canal for this cute pretty small hotel in the center of Alkmaar. we lodged in the biggest room (duplex) under the roof, with an attic feeling, very original and unusual. room was most certainly redone not that long ago so a good new feeling overall. we had the chance to take a look at other rooms when unoccupied as doors were opened... all fresh and pretty but smaller. The good points of the stay: very good HK (room was spotless), very good breakfast (simple but plenty enough not to feel hungry-presented like a seafood platter but with BKFGST stuff obviously), mattress very recent (but a bit hard to my taste). Small things to note or to improve: no front desk! (one does everything at the Bar located at the entrance.. weird but no big deal), need of shelf in the shower for amenities, shampoo, soap... not noce to put it on the floor)... one last thing (only real negative point): the bedroom soundproofing was poor... Friday and Saturday evenings are loud in the city center with people are enjoying themselves and I would not have slept well without earplugs which I had.. otherwise very good place

Easy welcoming check- in, complete with map and directions into town and closest bus stop (right outside the hotel!), modern furnishings and comfy bed. Close to football ground (sadly closed due to repairs). Large sized rooms with lots of useful facilities such as a fridge, safe and hairdryer. Very clean and fresh towels every day. Great breakfast with lots of choice (even manages to keep the Brits happy with bacon and eggs available! :P) Spa facilities look to be in good condition and very new (we however did not use them due to them being closed when we were free) Great stay, would definitely come back.

The Rotterdam Hilton is more than a thousand points a night. The room is very spacious and the decoration is very elegant. Although the facilities are not very new, I don’t understand it. Why don’t the Dutch use the domestic Philips TV set and use the LG of the Kimchi country? Hotel location is good, 10 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, behind the hotel is the shopping center, walking to the arched market box house is only 15 minutes. The scenery outside the window is good, although it faces the main road, it is not noisy. The breakfast is rich, but mainly based on Western food, the dining environment is comfortable. The downside is that if you don't pay attention, you will be connected to the VIP network. Of course, you have to pay.

The parking lot is a little inconvenient, but you can park your car in the hotel’s 200 public parking lot. The parking fee can be paid at the hotel information desk for 20 euros for 24 hours. Can bring children, the big bed is very spacious. It is recommended to rely on the port side room type when booking, with a good view

First of all, I was completely attracted by the appearance of this hotel when I picked the hotel. I accidentally saw the work of OMA Design Office. I feel good and recommend staying. The design is relatively simple and has extremes. Some people say that "too transparent" feels can be seen outside every move, just pull the curtains, the room view is great, especially the sunrise and sunset, the staff is very polite and professional, and it is not ignored for the Chinese And other phenomena. There is Tram downstairs, which is convenient to go anywhere, originally Rotterdam is not big. There is a "Happy Italy" recommended downstairs, coffee and bread for breakfast and a few glasses of wine and beer for dinner. All in all a pleasant stay ~

The shower design is not suitable for children and can not be removed when fixed on the wall. The other is satisfied and the room is very spacious. The service is also very good. Originally we had the opposite of the premier suites plus, the flight was cancelled and the first day failed to check in. We were told that our room was cancelled and the prepayment hotel refused the refund. At that time, I contacted Ctrip to help us change Marriott. Marriott's service is obviously more. Give a look at the premier suites plus here, this hotel really resists people!

This is the first hotel we stayed on this business trip, and the only one with breakfast. Breakfast is buffet, relatively simple, almost the same choice every day. The buns are delicious, with some slices of ham and cheese, and a fruit salad. I like the milk cereal area. I make a bowl of chocolate milk cereal every morning, but the milk is not too hot. Breakfast is full. Check-in on the first day, because I arrived earlier, I waited until 6 o'clock until 11 o'clock, I couldn't check in because the rooms were not cleaned up. After leaving the Rotterdam Central Station, turn left and go through 2 small intersections. The facade is small. It rains in the dark. It is not easy to find. It is easy to find during the day. Close to the train station, the transportation is convenient, and there are many shopping malls around, but the same things are much more expensive than those in Germany. There is no wardrobe, it is open, and the hanger cannot be taken off. Bring your own toiletries and slippers, but have a kettle. The heating is good, neither cold nor hot, and the temperature is the most comfortable in the three homes.

Hotel location is very good! Blaak stood up and walked in a few minutes. The big market next to the Blakk station has a lot of delicious food. Going a little further towards the Ferris wheel is a commercial area. The famous box house is on the other side of the station. You can walk to the Museum Square and the water bus. This Ibis looks very new, the overall interior design is simple and stylish, the room size is not small, the bathroom hardware facilities are not bad, except for disposable cups and three-in-one bath liquid, there is nothing else. There is no hot water in the room, you can get one at the front desk, with coffee and tea, two paper cups. The breakfast variety is quite rich.

I stayed here with my child for one night and it was a great experience. It is a corner room and it is bright! The quality of the hotel is also good. There is a park next to the hotel, with slide an so on. It's convenient for children to play. You can walk 10 minutes to the cubic house and pier. You can walk to the supermarket in 3 minutes, which is convenient.

It doesn't feel as good as it was written in the evaluation, the facilities are average, and the rooms are generally not too big. The location is remote and suitable for driving there, parking is free, this is rare. There are stains on the sheets, I don’t know if they have not been changed or washed, and the sofa is not clean, so the sanitary condition feels very average. The service was very good. Someone came to repair the refrigerator immediately. Because of the epidemic, there was no breakfast, so there was no way to comment.

Hotel location is very good, just next to the train station, 10 minutes walk. However, the hotel is old, the rooms are small and the facilities are old, like hotels in Hong Kong. It’s not a holiday, I have to check in after two o'clock. We waited until three o'clock to get the room... maybe it’s bad luck.

The hotel has a good location. It is in the center of Rotterdam, and next to the Maritime Museum and the Erasmusbrug. The location is very good, go straight out from the train station and walk for about 15 minutes. All the way along the river, pulling the box in the past will not be too painful. It’s also very convenient to go to the downtown box house. You can walk (Rotterdam is too suitable for walking, there are surprises everywhere). The hotel reception is very polite. We have all the rooms in the past few days, and we have given a room on the first floor, but it would be better if we could live on a high floor. The room is not particularly new, but the comfort is very high, the room is large, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kettle~ Breakfast is plentiful, croissants and a variety of small breads are delicious. The overall feeling is that it is very comfortable to live~ (I thought of taking pictures before check-out, so the picture is messy)

The hotel is in the new district, 2 kilometers from the city, in fact, it is okay to walk. It was the waiter who cleaned up the room very late. We all went back to the hotel from the outside or didn't clean up. It was not until 6 pm that we asked for it. The hotel has an underground parking of 20 Euros and is fully self-service. Slippers are available at an extra charge.

The location is great, right next to the box house, opposite the subway station, there is a supermarket on the ground floor of the nearby Grand Bazaar, the restaurant next to the church is also great, there is a market on Tuesday. The front desk staff was super friendly and friendly, and all the questions we asked were answered, and there was free water at the front desk. The two beds in the big bed will not be crowded and can be connected to the apple tv. Check-in and check-out is super convenient and intelligent management. Next time you go to Rotterdam, you will choose here. Nice location.hospitality of the receptionists.will recommend

advantage: 1. Location 5 minutes walk from the subway station, the rotterdam blaak subway station, out of the station to see the Rubik's Cube, the pencil house, the markhal arcade market; 2. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the spar supermarket and the old port; Not far from the Erasmus Bridge, there are water buses and cruise ships to the children's embankment under the bridge; 3. Take the bus to the kralingse zoom at the subway station, walk 1 minute walk from the bus terminal and take 489, 38 minutes to the children. embankment. 3. The hotel restaurant is on the floating platform, very beautiful. The room has a special feature. Disadvantages: Good location, the natural price of breakfast is 10 Euro/bit, so I didn't eat it. I went to the supermarket to buy bread.

It's about one kilometer from the train station and ten minutes' walk. The facilities are average, the elevator is very small, very humble and a bit scary. The hotel is a bit old. But fairly clean. Just told that there was no room and asked us to go to another similar hotel and let us walk over by ourselves. Later I checked and said there was a room. The price is relatively cheap, but generally not as good as a hotel chain. Breakfast is on the ground floor and in the evening is a bar.

We stayed in a family room. It was excellent-spacious, well-equipped and clean. A nice touch was a night-light which creates a kind of night sky on the ceiling of the room in varying colours and patterns. A lounge on the 2nd level exists where you can eat take away food or ordered food and also have breakfast (available from the 24h mini market on a pay-per-item basis). This was very convenient. The location is ideal if you need to be downtown Rotterdam. Parking is available on-site but you need to reserve in advance. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little difficult to find, the building is quite narrow and unassuming from the outside and there is just a small sign on the side. For a hotel of its class it is excellent, we would stay here again without hesitation.

The location is very good. Just in the city center of Rotterdam. The train station is down for 20 minutes with luggage. It is also very lively. It is both shops and restaurants. The KFC McDonald's Burger King Chinese Restaurant next to the hotel... everything! It is very convenient to walk to markthal and cube house within 10 minutes. Disadvantages: The room is small. The suitcase can only be opened one. There is almost no walking space. The luggage, hair dryer, etc. must be charged separately (I didn’t spend that Money).
