My general policy for these reviews when I’m torn about the star rating is to give the place the benefit of the doubt and “round up.” After some thought, I decided to do the same with the Glen Capri Inn and Suites, that’s why I went with the three stars. There is definitely some good about this motel, which is what it is, a motel. The room is clean and remodeled and looks very nice—clean is the most important. The amenities that are here are good, such as the microwave and refrigerator. They have a small bar of soap at the sink instead of the liquid (I don’t like the liquids), but there are just the liquid dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The Internet is good, reliable, and fast and the TV is very nice with a good cable selection. Housekeeping is fine and the man in the office is friendly. That’s about it for the good. Here’s the not so good, the room is very small, but adequate—big enough for one person, and perhaps a couple. There is no dresser (no room for one) although there are a couple of small drawers in the nightstands and some shelves in the etagere that serves as a “closet” and rack for the fridge and microwave, but no place to really unpack. There are a couple of missing amenities that to me really aren’t amenities, they’re basics. There is no clock, no Kleenex, no ice bucket (because there is no ice machine), and get this, there’s not even a pen and paper. I’ve never, ever been to a hotel/motel—regardless of how cheap—that didn’t have a pen and paper in the room. The freezer section of the fridge has a small ice tray that you can fill that will make ten ice-cube-machine size ice cubes. There is no desk, just a small table and chairs that look like they came from IKEA. Despite the good Internet, this isn’t a good place for a business traveler. There is a bit of traffic noise, but not the worst I've ever experienced. Even though the drapes are opaque, there is a lot of light and you have to close the bathroom door to block light from the bathroom window. The room just doesn't get dark at night. Parking is free, but there isn’t much of it, possibly enough if the place is full, but I’m not sure. From what I can see, street parking is in short supply as well. There are some restaurants in the area, but mostly small hole-in-the-wall type places or fast food. The hole-in-the-walls might be good, but they just don’t look very appetizing and the reviews aren’t all that positive. If that's not what you want, then at mealtime, you’re going to have to drive. The Glen Capri Inn and Suites (not to be confused with the Glen Capri Motel which is a few blocks down the street) is satisfactory at best. The area is pretty industrial and there’s not much in walking distance, but there are services (grocery store, Target, etc.) not too far away (10-15 minute drive). Since my usual reason for being in this part of Los Angeles is business, I probably won’t be back. My “average” ranking is t

To start off this place was not the greatest deal for the room we got. It was really shabby and not very well kept on the structural maitnance(walls, floors, and bathroom.) Decided to stay cuz we didn't have many options in our price range. Woke up the next morning to find out there was no hot water. I strongly advise to not stay at this location unless there is no other choice.

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was fantastic! The bathroom was big and the cleanest bathroom i have seen during a trip around the states! Bed was comfy and room once again was cleaned to a very high standard. Close to a laundromat and dennys! Would definately stay again and have recommended this place to friends and family.

Hotel staff was friendly and always there to help. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We stayed in in studio room and was bigger than normal room Only issue was heater wasn't working that well and hotel staff came right away to try to fix it. We were offered extra sheet for the night. Over all great stay and would definitely be returning when I'm back in town.

The overall was good, we checked in at night at the time, the front desk staff was very welcoming, check-in was also very fast, and the hotel parking lot location was relatively large. A $ 50 deposit is charged upon check-in and will be returned to the card upon check-out. I do n’t know how long it will take to return, I have n’t received the message yet.

An American breakfast is served in the morning. There are toast, bread, various jams, sausages, scrambled eggs, yogurt, milk, coffee, and fruit. The room is larger with a kingsize bed and a sofa bed (need to be spread out by yourself). Feeling thinner, the air conditioner needs to be higher, but the sound of the air conditioner is louder, which is a big problem for the neurasthenic guests. I chose to live here mainly because I have to go to Universal Studios. The road is not far away. I can get it in the morning of 20 minutes. Not far from the California Institute of Technology, not far from Greenfield Park, but just happened to meet the sunny weekend, there are many people going up the mountain, the road is blocked.

Less variety of breakfast! Only sweet bread, because there is no original bread, so there is no honey butter jam! No fried eggs and boiled eggs, no salad! No sliced ham and intestines! There are coffee, scrambled eggs, fried potato pieces, bacon, clay sausage, fruit pieces, and juice. King size bed 2m, soft. The bed is clean. The equipment is old, the service is general, the ticket takes off at 12 o'clock in Beijing on the 11th, and arrives at Los Angeles at 9 o'clock on the 11th. The time difference is 15 hours and forgets! Actually, I arrived in Los Angeles at 9:00 on the 11th! I had to patch the hotel for one day and rent a car for one day. Renting a car for $148 a day, the price has doubled. Second: the hotel is close to the busy highway, the noise is particularly large. The air conditioner is louder and can't be turned on at night! When the bathroom is turned on, the exhaust fan is like a tractor, which makes me afraid to turn on the lights at night. No safe. There is no water in the room but there is coffee. Parking for 19 days.

We booked this motel when visiting Universal Studio. We needed a parking lot, so to be safe we chose a hotel a little bit away from the Studio. We checked in around 8pm but we didn’t have any problem finding parking spots. There was Ralph supermarket 5 min drive distance where we got some cheap dinner and breakfast. But we found out that this motel provide simple breakfast: sweet bakery, oats, toasts, bagels, coffee, orange juice etc. This motel seemed old; you can tell from the look outside and inside the room. But at least the restroom was renovated with new flooring. It looked clean. Wifi was surprisingly worked very well from my room. There were microwave and fridge. No hair dryer though. Overall, we were agreeably surprised by the quality of the room for the relatively low price. We’d come back again and we’d recommend this motel.

I stayed at the hotel for the second time. I didn't have breakfast. The breakfast was cheaper at 4 o'clock. My husband and I were sleeping with two 16-year-old children. It was much better than the domestic standard room. The hotel parking lot received 9 knives a night. Hotel location 5 to 6 minutes drive from the city center!

The Chariot Inn has a super location and is easy in and out. We went to a show at the Greek Theater and wanted a hotel close by, but out of the Los Angeles fray. Our room was clean and comfortable and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a warm day and the air conditioner kept our room very cool. I left a few items behind, and the inn was kind enough to return them to me via Priority Mail. If you are looking for quality customer service and a quiet and comfortable spot to stay close to Los Angeles and Burbank, the Chariot Inn is perfect.

The motel is at a great location, right across from a large, upscale mall, surrounded by so many eateries and restaurants nearby. It was served well by bus network and this suited us very well, because we weren't driving and used buses extensively. The room was good sized with lots of light stands. It was very clean and the room attendants did a good job during our five nights stay. The mattress was little too soft with not much support. The wifi was a little unreliable, sometimes slow or dropping off. The shower head was fixed to the wall, not a hand shower, making it hard to clean ourselves. The soap and shampoo offered was of cheap quality (this is totally understandable because of the bargain price and I am not complaining) but we should be grateful they are offered at all. I brought my own toileteries, so no issue here. The only trouble we found was with the air conditioner (it was so old and loud we decided against using it) and the fact they didn't offer in-room safe or safety box at the front office was a major issue because I had to carry all our cash and passports with me and boy, it was scary! I found the traffic noise too loud and used ear plugs at night, but the kids had no problem. Overall, I am very satisfied with Rodeway Inn Regalodge.

Stayed at the Hotel Brandwood for two nights and loved the location which is downtown Glendale with in walking distance of restaurants and shopping. This boutique hotel's rooms are small but clean and comfortable for the price. The baths are clean with real tile walls and nice fixtures with pleanty of really hot water plus the pressure was excellent. I stayed in a king room and the bed was very comfortable with nice sheets. The room has a working desk and an armoire with drawers for your clothes. A mini bar is also available with fairly reasonable prices. Additionally, there is a clothes steamer in the room with is a bit unique. You'll also find two bathrobes for your use but as usual they are small and unusable for me. A small flat screen television is wall mounted with satellite tv and plemty of premiere movie channels included. Now to the cons; There is little to no parking available when you want to check in but there is some public parking in the back alley that is cheap to use when checking in. The hotel does provide overnight parking at the Sears location about a block away. Next, as mentioned in every other review, are the stairs. The lobby is on the second floor of the building and you have to climb some steep stairs to get there and for some lugging luggage up might be an issue. I would suggest checking in first and asking for help with your bags. There a not enough outlets in the room which can make it difficult to charge devices. Then there is the window mounted air-conditioning unit; it is very loud when running and may make it difficult to sleep. This is a known problem because the hotel does provide earplugs in the room. This location does not allow pets and is non-smoking. Finally, for the price this hotel has a great location but it does have some issues and it's not for everyone so check the reviews carefully.

Owner was extremely professional and always made sure our room was cleaned during our stay. Family of 4 staying there while our home was getting ready. The price was reasonable in comparison to other places in Glendale. It was clean. We even pulled the bedspreads and sheets off to check the beds and there were no stains, at least in the room we were staying in. We used our own comforter as personal preference. When we were inside the room you couldn’t hear anyone beside you but when you were in the hallway you could hear people in their rooms and outside traffic. We liked that the walls and floors seemed really sound proof. No problems with parking. They had space in the parking lots. They were very strict with no visitors but if you let the office know in advance they work with you. I think they don’t want random people coming in and out of there throughout the day and night. Overall it was a good experience and we would go back. It is hard to get someone to answer the phones so you probably just have to go in.

The location was perfect for our trip as my daughter needed to be at the State Board of Cosmetology very early the next morning. The hotel lobby clerk was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was facing the main street and even up on the 5th floor the noise of the traffic was still quite loud. The view from the room was nice. Parking was tacked on for $16.95 additional charge. The beds were hard although the pillows were lovely. There were 3 of us staying in the room for which all were listed on my reservation however, we were only left with 2 towels total. The water from the shower was just warm enough to not be considered torture. They did offer pre packaged breakfast that consisted of a tiny bagel (unable to toast or heat up due to covid) and cream cheese, a package of nuts and package of shortbread cookies. Overall, I feel I paid way too much for this room for what we received.

Look this gem can hold it's own with far more expensive hotels. Its location is sensational. About 5 minutes to Brand Americana and a minute more to the Galleria. Scarantino's is practically next door. And it's a 3-5 minute drive to the church we wanted to visit on Sunday. Room 202 has been renovated and was a junior suite. Good bed and bedding. Direct TV streamed to a digital TV. Nice bath area. Hair dryer. Microwave. Easy plug in for recharging electronics. Decent, and free, WiFi. The room was very clean and being on Colorado, there is some traffic noise to deal with. Free parking to boot. No coffee in room, but there is a Keurig and pods in the office/lobby you can make for yourself in the morning. The best part: caring, easy to deal with managers. Happy to check us in at 10:45 and give us our keys even though the room wouldn't be available for an hour. When the TV refused to work, we called the office and the manager was up fixing the problem (the Direct TV box) almost before I hung up the phone. Outstanding value. Outstanding motel. Outstanding location. Outstanding managers! Other than these minor issues, we loved Motel Sakura.

The worst experience, the twin room, the number of people selected at the time of booking, the result is that there is no twin room, give a big bed room closest to the elevator, then add a small bed, then Didn't understand the significance of the choice of three people and the specially selected twin room at that time? ? ? The door of the bathroom does not know if it is too old. When it is closed, it is loud and loud every time. Like the door outside, it is really bad! !

We've stayed here two or three times a year for the past three or four years. Never had an issue. The rooms were renovated several years ago and they have kept them up nicely, good beds, basic but decent breakfast, you might have to take it back to your room because there is very limited seating. The parking lot is tight and not always enough room in the lot, but there is free street parking, and the neighborhood is good. It is a short drive into downtown Glendale where all the action is, lots of different restaurants a little further down the way from the motel, a Ralphs supermarket right across the street. We have always paid under $100 per night for a king size room, if it's more than that look elsewhere first. There are other choices close by, but we feel this is the best bang for your buck.

Let me start by saying that this hotel is very nice. Upgraded rooms for a small facility. Now onto the real concern. The family host are very rude. Each room only has two pillows and when I asked for extra two pillows for my wife and I they asked rudely how many guest are in my room. They gave me only one pillow after being told that I will be charged of I have more than two people in my room. They never answer the motel telephone. They do not have ice maker in the room as well. The facility is wide open and no gates at all. I went out to get ice from McDonald's and saw a homeless person sleeping next to my room 205. The person was drink and was obnoxiously knocking at our door all night. I called the front desk with no answer. I came downstairs and was told they can't do anything about it. I had to pay $7 to park next to a all space next to a dumpster. My wife and I went out to dinner and my parking space was taken and was told I lost my space because it's late. The rooms are absolutely nice but could be cleaner . I took photos of what the faucet looks like, you be the judge.
