2.23km from winDSun Taekwon-do AcademyWe've checked in to Room 311 on 11 January 2019.
If you are driving to the hotel, the parking is free but you will have to climb a flight of stairs from basement to lobby carrying your luggage bags, so that's a first turn off to us. Next is the check-in process which is kind of smooth, took us approximately 8 minutes to complete. Please take note that there is a tourist tax and a RM50 cash deposit to be collected on the spot.
Of course, how can we leave out the room review. The main door to the room doesn't have a locking latch installed on the door, so it's a bit of feeling insecure for first-time Muar visitors. Next, the bed & pillows are not those thick and fluffy type, they have a musty smell which makes us wonder if there'll be any bed bugs attacking us at night. Last but not least, our room windows are facing the main road, so please be prepare of noisy motorcycles and awful karaoke singing at the foodcourt behind the hotel at night, even at 2am yes!
Despite the above poor reviews, one plus point is the convenient location of the hotel. It is very near to the famous "Tang Chi Jie" (Glutton Street) which sells the famous oyster omelette and otah, 434 Kopi Cafe is just one street across, all within walking distance of approximately 10 minutes.
So in conclusion, we will not visit or recommend this hotel to any of our friends.
