The location of this hotel is quite good! Already the center of the city centre! There are many supermarkets and shopping malls around, and it is very convenient for daily living and shopping! Dublin is not big. From the hotel to various attractions, it can be reached within half an hour. The hotel room is large, the bathroom is clean, the bath water is large, the breakfast is good, although simple but healthy! Open at 7! The front desk staff at the hotel are all nice. If you have any questions and need help, they can solve them in time! All in all, this hotel is recommended!

I stayed here with my wife for a mini break in Dublin Pros Great location just off O’Connell street, 2-3 minute walk from air coach drop off and pick up and also the hop on hop off bus ride. Rooms were very clean and cleaned and towels changed daily. Bathroom spacious and shower spacious Coffee and tea making facilities in room Double glazing so if your facing street can shut off from the noise. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you. You can leave your bags if you a later flight time. There is a bar Murray’s which you can get breakfast at at 10euro if not prebooked. Iron and ironing board in the room Tv also in the room. It is on the main tram route into Dublin. The price is also great £160 Euros for two nights . There is a massive primark (penny’s) and a huge shopping centre right off O’Connell street. Cons There is a nightclub directly under the hotel and with noise outside can go on until 3-4am in the morning , it’s also a rock nightclub so heavy banging music. Room could do with more milk for tea and coffee however shop three doors down to get this. There are no lifts for people who struggle with stairs. Tips and advice There is a weatherspoons about 5-10 minute walk away down O’Connell street , this is better value for money than Murray’s Get the Dublin pass online, don’t book through the shops. The Aircoach to and from the airport drop off is outside Gresham hotel and opposite Gresham hotel. There is a massive problem with homesless people and drug users in Dublin, keep your wits about you as sometimes they don’t take no for answer and be aggressive , be firm and respectful and just say no.

We knew we were arriving in late so contacted in advance and this was fine. Arrived to find the most brilliant city. Vibrant and couldnt wait to explore for the weekend. Receptionist said we were in the lucky position to be given an appartment further down the same road. I said l'd rather be staying in the Guesthouse. He said it was fully booked and couldnt. Walked a few hundred metres down and thought we were seeing an old Snooker Hall. This was the place! The front lockon this door had tried to be forced open. The hall was a shock. Three floors up and we saw electrics sticking out of walls, plaster crumbling and door numbers scribbled on doors. Once a glorious looking building is now needing safety checks. I couldnt beleive we were placed here. Inside our door there was a great appartment that looked exactly like the rooms in the website photos. But it doesnt feel safe being there. We returned and the receptionist was blatently rude and said no one had ever complained about this place, it must be us. Look at the photos l have uploaded as he said everyone liked it as it was a quiet place. I did not think we were being fussy. Asked to speak to the manager on three occassions. Told to return to be placed in the guest house the following afternoon. So had to drop out exploring to get back and move in to the new room. This was just as expected. Great for the price. Manager never made contact but the female receptionist was sympathetic and listened. One of the other male recetionists great too as they both knew there was an issue. The initial receptionist saw us a few times but was denying any issue and actually antgonising. I made a complaint, this was ignored and thankfully our booking company immediately got it sorted with one nights refund and the manager came back to us, with no explanation except an apology and offer of one nights fee. Not really acceptable considering the fact that of two day, one was spoilt and the other was cut short to return and change rooms. On a positive, a great location for buses and some good pubs nearby. Dublin is fabulous and we would love to return one day but with reassance of clean, safe accomodation. Such a popular guesthouse but the hostel place completely spoils it, Especially when treated so badly when questioning why we were placed there.

Wonderful weekend stay at Pembroke Hall. All the communication before we arrived was great, Hilary was really helpful. Arrived late on Friday, instructions and entry code exactly as described, it’s a beautiful old Victorian/Edwardian style big house. Stunning and spotless throughout. Lovely lounge area with the really nice touch of an honesty bar/refreshments, very novel in today’s world. Room was spotless and a really comfortable bed lead to two great nights sleep. Seamus was really welcoming when we met him Saturday morning too. Nothing disturbed us at all, and the local restaurants where plenty and superb, as was fresh coffee and croissants only a two minute walk away each morning. It’s a decent walk (15-20) mins into the centre of Dublin but what a wonderful city it is. Great stay and highly recommend.

We were traveling with our grandsons (11 and 13) and wanted to stay close to meGrafton Street. The Brooks is la 1-0-minute walk to Grafton Street and to Trinity College. The stop for the hop on/hop off bus is also very close. To me first impressions are critical. When we arrived at the hotel, the two receptionists at the front desk were simply awesome!! We had arrived early and our rooms weren't quite ready and so they worked their magic to find two adjoining rooms that were ready. (It has been my experience that, in 99% of the hotels I have visited, the receptionist would have told me to come back later!!) The receptionists and the concierge were extremely helpful in advising us where and when to travel to see the sights on our bucket list. The "when" is the operative word because the weather during our visit was less than ideal!! Our rooms were spacious, well appointed and clean. The bathroom had both a tub and shower which made my wife quite happy!! My wife was also happy that the bathroom had a hair dryer. The beds were very comfortable. More importantly, the thermostat in our room ACTUALLY worked!!! We could set the temperature lower before retiring for the evening which made for a great night's sleep!! As for our grandchildren, the one amenity that the hotel offered which transcended all of the other nice things about the hotel was ... the pillow menu!! They were totally and completely enamored of this and are still taliking about it. We did eat breakfast in the hotel and, if there was a weak spot, it was the limited number of choices for breakfast items. Another nit was that there were empty trays where breakfast meats and croissants should have been. (Following our first experience, we ate breakfast at a wonderful cafe around the corner!) I would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers going to Dublin.

The luxurious deluxe quadruple room is a jacket room, a room with a big bed room, a room with a twin room and a very spacious room. There is an airport bus at the entrance of the hotel, there are several supermarkets around, there are many meals, and the hotel's steak is good! There are no slippers and toothbrushes in the room. You need to bring your own slippers and toiletries. Breakfast is a good English breakfast, I like it. The Liffey River is on the doorstep and it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city centre. The National Gallery is worth a look.

My cousin and I stayed at Camden Key in Dublin for 2 nights Nov 17 and 18. I have stayed there before and love it for its convenient location and friendly staff. I didn't realize I left my jewelry bag and jewelry until we had been home almost 3 weeks. I didn't think I would ever see my lost items again, but with the wonderful help of Thais, Sash and my room cleaner, among others, all of it was returned to me. I am forever grateful for their concern, honesty and help in recovering my things. They are absolutely the best! Mary Sue Gillan

Just returned from a stay at the Clarence Hotel, Dublin Presently there are extensive renovations going on in the hotel but we were no disturbed by any of the work although the hotel iis covered in plastic sheeting plus lots of scaffolding. However, if our room was anything to go by it will all be worthwhile. The room was immaculately clean and all the fitting were new. The bed was huge and the room was tastefully furnished. The bedroom had a tv. There was a further room with a velvet settee and another tv which was huge. All the tea/coffee facilities were brand new including a Nespresso machine and Smegg fridge The bathroom was beautiful and had an excellent shower. On the down side there is a lot of noise from a nearby club but we did not asked to be moved because the room and facilities were lovely. The view from the window was grim but I guess it depends what you want from your room. I would think it would be difficult at the moment to get a completely perfect room with a view until the renovations are complete. The staff were lovely and did everything they could to help make our stay successful. We had breakfast at the most beautiful coffee shop just a couple of doors down from the hotel. The food was fab.

We stayed here the night of of wedding along with a small number of friends. It was a small group of people as this was during level 5 Covid restrictions and we were really just looking for somewhere to stay, eat and drink. Other hotels in Dublin were looking to charge us €500 to just hire a room which didn't include any drinks or meals and there wasn't even any guarantee that we could stay overnight. The Alex were very accommodating and flexible for us, we were treated brilliantly. We were given complimentary prosecco in all rooms and at the bar upon arrival. The rooms, restaurant/bar and common areas were very modern and appear to have been renovated recently. I dealt with a lady over the phone for my bookings, I believe here name was Róisín and she was very helpful. I would highly recommend the Alex for small group gatherings such as what we had.

This was a great location for out Dublin visit. We didn’t have a car during our few days in Dublin, but we were able to walk pretty easily each day to the major sites we wanted to see. The room, which was in the Mews building, was clean and it was nice to have a kitchenette. There were five of us travelling together so we had two adjoining rooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with three beds. This was perfect for us and our adult children! Both rooms had a kitchenette (the one with the queen bed was significantly larger). We had plenty of space for all of us and our luggage. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Waterloo Lodge for 7 nights in the late of August. Our room was at the second floor, with windows faced to the street (in fact I think that all windows at the hotel does). The house was built in ca 1850, and there are a couple of nice photocopies of documents at the wall to state it. The room itself doesn't pretended to be brand new, rather it looks pretty old-fashioned. So that is what you possibly expect at the Ireland, doesn't you? All facilities was good, there is a fan for air conditioning, though we didn't use it. Breakfast was very good, Irish or continental, and the first option was really big and tasty. Hotel team were very kind and helpfully. To sum up, the Lodge is perfect for buusbess trip and for family holiday as well.

We received a very nice welcome when we arrived one evening at Flyover B&B. Our room was medium-sized with a comfy double bed with lots of blankets. It had a desk, a coat rack, lots of electrical outlets for charging devices, a generally good wifi signal (although at times it did drop out), and opening windows for ventilation. There was an in-room safe, a 32” TV, and an armchair. Our bathroom had a great shower with hot water and lots of pressure. The B&B is very clean and has been updated with new plumbing fixtures. It is nicely decorated with lots of mirrors and good lighting. There is a nice bright breakfast room with self-serve fridge for yoghurt, juice, cereal, tea and coffee. Three choices of cooked breakfast are available. The Comet pub is just a few steps away for other meals. Although it is situated on a main street it was very quiet. Off street parking is provided. There are perfect bus connections to the city (3EU for bus to Dublin centre). The B&B is a short ride from airport, about 15 EU.

Note: Reposting this review as it was unfairly flagged. I'm not looking to make a bigger issue of this but it was my experience and it is valid as a customer. I was unhappy with the response of the hotel on this matter. I booked a one night stay in this hotel for early October as a county stay-cation while we were still in Level 3. I changed the reservation to accommodate another couple and we were looking forward to our stay on Friday 23 October. For some reason the booking system didn't register my booking modification and I was listed as a no show for the original date. Over 2 weeks and 6 phone calls later to the hotel I was told that the system didn't log my change and therefore I wouldn't be offered a voucher or refund. It has been implied that I did not actually change the reservation as claimed as the booking system of this worldwide hotel is trusted over the word of a customer. In normal circumstances I wouldn't plan to stay in a hotel 3km from where I live but it's 2020 and we wanted a night away and we were happy to think we were supporting local businesses. I didn't get my night away, I ended up having to make multiple calls to the hotel for updates, and I will never stay at a Hyatt again. The positive is that I guess I did suport local with my money, I just didn't receive the service I paid for. Hopefully anyone reading this will double and triple check any amendments to bookings for a stay at this hotel. It does look like a very nice property. I'll continue to stay local and support local, it's needed more than ever.

Dissapointing about meeting room I have booked for 3 days.Poor lighting for nail tech courses.Girls were extremelly tired at the end of the day.Heating also eather hot or cold, the set up thing was downstairs at the bar so I had to go million times to ask them to reduce or increase a heating.one of the staff was rude at our last stay as in a middle of the diploma talk he walked in a room without permission, sorry or hello to take extenders off our room.Speaker was distracted of her talk. One of our girls who stayed at the hotel told about missing power bank after the room was cleaned but staff havent reacted to this. Also as I asked to explain why my bill was overcharged manager said it was my fault because my lady which I was hosting got something extra to eat but its all she ordered she said was pint of guinness of €4.5 which she paid in cash herself.I was too annoyed and walked away. That manager didnt even help himself to come to me and double check about this situation.I wont go in debt with extra €4.5 I paid but reputation of the hotel should be first in a line as a customers satisfaction. I had booked another meetings in advance with this Hotel but sadly Im going to cancel everything and find a better place.

My mother and I have just returned from an 80th birthday trip back to my mum's childhood in Dublin. I booked No 31 based on previous reviews and it more than exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect - very central and in old Georgian Dublin, beautiful. The staff bar none were all delightful, warm and friendly and could not do enough for us. The rooms were lovely and comfortable with all that we needed. The breakfasts were outstanding - thank you Delia! I have travelled extensively and been fortunate to eat some great food but Delia's breakfasts are the best I have ever had. A lovely, intimate eating space with an abundance of fruits, cereals, cheeses, homemade cranberry loaf, breads and scones. Then the a la carte menu which I defy anyone not to deliberate over because there are just so many fabulous options. Everything cooked perfectly and with a generous heart. We counted our stay in breakfasts rather than nights! Don't hesitate to stay.

Just spent a night here with my fiancée as a surpurise break away. This is a lovely modern hotel in the heart of Dublin, in an area called the Liberties. This is a great area, with lots to do nearby, such as the the Teeling Distillery, Liberties Distillery, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness storehouse, and Christchurch Cathedral a small walk away. The hotel itself is modern, plush and found it to be very clean, with good sized rooms. The service was fantastic here, especially from Drago in reception and all the other staff also. A very good and filling breakfast is served on the 7th floor, where the reception is also located, with floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of Dublin. The hotel bar is located on this floor also and coupled with great views, it has a very nice outdoor terrace and good music. The Tenters pub on ground level is great too, with lovely food and great live music. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.

I went in this hostel on Jan 2020. I was alone and I slept on a 4 girls room. ROOM The accommodation was nice, bed was comfortable and clean, blanket was comfy and warm and there was a big and spacious cage under the bed in which you can keep your things safe. BATHROOM Bathroom is tiny and there was not space for leaning beauty case or towel. It is washed four times every day indeed it was very clean. You can find soap above the sink and you can ask for shampoo or conditioner at reception, they would borrow you what you need. KITCHEN It is a common space in which you can cook and eat your food but you can also find some that is for all the guest (as rice, milk, bread, and so on). There is a fridge with the common food and two in which you can put your grocery shopping. Breakfast is sweet and rich. You can find muesli, bread, Nutella, peanut butter, fruits, milk, coffe, tea, jam and juice. *I know that is not hostel fault but someone stole my Parmigiano Reggiano that I brought from home. It was a very unpleasant experience. There are no cameras above the fridge so they are not guarantee places to let your food in. I suggest to ask to receptionists to put your food in their locked fridge (if it is valuable) because some guest may steal it.* RECEPTION Receptionists are very nice and available. They help you and you can find them from morning to late evening. POSITION Garden Lane Backpacker is near Temple bar and Dublin Castle. You can walk 20/30 minutes and you arrive at the Spire. If you are a solo girl I suggest this place.

First of all the location of the townhouse is in the posh part of Dublin, so it’s very safe, compared to other areas. There are plenty of buses cross the street, but if you like walking like me, the city centre is a 20min walk. This is an old house, so don’t expect the room to be all brand new. There were leak stains on the ceiling, the carpet was not new, but the room was fairly clean, the bathroom was impeccable and the price was unbeatable. The girls at the reception were very sweet too. I asked about where to buy a Leap travel card, Maya offered me to borrow her personal one! I highly recommend and I will definitely go back there if I’m ever back in Dublin!

The location is really good, a bit seemingly tucked away but actually a nice walk or tram or bus ride from everything! Just around the corner from the Jameson factory!! There's a really great grocery store, spa, many restaurants and pubs nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony!! Had a lunch at the restaurant, Cesar salad and fries, yummy 😋

We managed to get a great offer on the hotel and paid little more than we would have for a double room in a hostal. The hotel was under some work but we never heard anything or were disrupted. The staff were friendly, we left a do not disturb on our door and we were left a bag of clean towels which was very thoughtful. The hotel itself is a bit old and has some wear and tear but for the price you can’t complain. The bathroom was well furnished. There was a desk in the room and still plenty of space. Though we didn’t eat there, the restaurant smelt amazing but closed quite early. We stayed for 2 nights and the situation was perfect, we were maybe a mile and a half from the main touristy areas like temple bar. There were dozens of shops around and souvenir shops. There is a tourist information desk in the entrance with hundreds of flyers for all kinds of great activities. The hotel is next to the airport bus stop when arriving to Dublin. We had a safe in our room and the area was relatively good in terms of safety at night - overall it was an great place to stay.

We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms in the Fitzwilliam. The decor was fabulous and the room very spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The lobby area had beautiful flower arrangements and the location is so central. The breakfast was divine, such a great selection of fresh fruits, smoothies and breads, with a made to order hot breakfast.
