The place is in a decent location, located just opposite vivocity. Going to and fro is easy! The room is clean, aircon is working, has hot water and cold water. Also has a rain shower too. The shower and toilet is separated by a partition and one sliding door. You can only close one side, either to the toilet or the shower. One weird thing is that the housekeeping did not top up the shower gel.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Upon arriving at hotel, I was informed that there was no more king room and the room was not ready. The staff was kind and offered us access to the swim while we wait for the room to be ready and he gave my daughter a limited edition pin as we were there to celebrate her birthday. The pool at the hotel was sweet. There is a full length pool for lap swimming but multiple smaller pools for children and also an artificial beach. The children have fun. Room service and Check out were also a breeze. However, my daughter left her brand new soft toy in the room and I tried calling the RWS hotline for support. There is no direct line to the hotel lobby and the lost and found line was not manned. Desperate, I called dining services for help and she informed me to send an email. (Seriously, email for lost items???) there was no reply after a few days so I sent a follow up email expressing my disappointment. The email was quickly replied with “we did not have any soft toy at lost and found”. There was no attempt to address their tardy response nor their lack of support for hotel guests. While the overall hotel stay was great, I felt some disappointment as the after-sale service could have been better

It’s our second time back as a staycation and my family thoroughly enjoyed the room and facilities here - the room is extremely spacious and the beds are super comfy. I especially love the sofa in the room too. The glass windows to the balcony are sound proof and really helps even when there’s a huge storm outside. We requested for a connecting room for both our rooms, so it was extremely fun going in and out both rooms. The pools were quite relaxing too. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended to come at least once!!

My main issue with this hotel is bad noise control. We understand if people's talking can be heard, all hotels are the same. However, the staff were shouting across the hallway, occasion burst of laughter and watching videos at high volume. It felt like we were in some student hostel. The lobby has background music and that cannot be heard from our room, likewise we cannot hear when the concierge spoke to the customers. This shows how loud they were when shouting at one another. Feedbacks were given and we appreciate that they tried to keep it down after that. 1. Good room size: People need to understand that this is a budget hotel and to stop expecting 4/5 stars hotel room size. In actual fact, the room is quite spacious for a budget hotel. Also kudos to the hotel for placing the tv at such a good angle where you can comfortably lay down on the bed and watch tv. TV resolution is not the best but acceptable. Has a netflox button on the controller but no netflix on tv. Kind of misleading. 2. Shower room: Wet and dry are in the same space. Warning, the showerhead is really heavy. I accidentally dropped it on my toe and bruised myself (my own bad). The water temperature is consistent (hot water available throughout). Shower gel and shampoo is 2-in-1. At the end of the day it does what it should do. 3. Bed & Cleanliness: Spring mattress so its on the tougher end. No big issues actually. Air conditioning is consistent too. The mirror is really clean but floor and door wise has a bit of hair and dust around. The LED strip has turned yellow (can tell it has been there for a long time), thus the room is quite dark. 4. Facilities: iron and ironing board are available upon request. There is a 7-11 and cheers nearby so its not too bad. Vivocity is just 2 bus stops away. With that said, i will still go back again and recommend it for a short getaway but maybe request for a room on a higher level.

The butler and housekeeping services were excellent and we enjoyed the facilities. However the breakfast served was terrible! We were just so surprised that after paying a pretty hefty sum for our accommodation that we received such a poor breakfast to start the day. What a pity! Won't be staying there again.

Checked in on 5 March 2021 and had a very pleasant and memorable experience particularly with 3 front desk staff. When I went to register; Chin Yik was courteous and told me that the room I requested for wasn’t ready . I was early although official the check in time is 3pm. He told me that he would call me when the room is ready. When I returned to check, he was apologetic that the room was still not ready. His colleague, another front desk staff Christine saw me and went to seek approval from her manager to upgrade me to a higher tier room so that I do not have to continue waiting. Another front desk employee, Kei Siang went up to my assigned upgraded room to ensure that that the room was in ideal condition before I went up. Next, the room. The room is very clean and bright. It gives me a very good feel the moment I walked in. The room is huge and the deco is Roman theme. Overall I had a very pleasant stay. The service of the front desk staff deserves commending!

As part of our anniversary, we went to Adventure Cove Waterpark and booked a 1-night stay in Hotel Michael. The distance from the waterpark to the hotel is about 10 minutes and you will need to climb the stairs going to the hotel. We reached Sentosa around 11am that day so we could do the waterpark for the first half and then rest in our hotel the second half. Before going to the waterpark, we wanted to check-in early, but only registration of particulars was possible as they mentioned it they are quite full-house on that day, do note it was a Monday that day. We were also told that the bed-type available on that day was only twin bed, that wasn't really ideal for me and my wife as we wanted a king bed. We also asked if we could do a late check-out, their standard check-out was 11am and they mentioned an ambiguous check-out around 12pm or 12:30pm - although we still appreciated it, I hope next time it was more clear instead so we wouldn't guess. We were able to leave our luggage with them in the meantime while we are in the waterpark. Upon reaching back to the hotel around 4pm, we queued to get our room key. While waiting for our turn, we overheard that the only available bed-type was king bed and they were running out of twin beds - which was contradicting from their morning statement. It was still a good outcome as we are able to get king bed in the end. The room given to us was on the 9th floor (room 0919) and window is facing the other hotels instead of the sea. The overall room design was actually pretty good, the bed was comfortable and air-conditioning was cold. Do note that our mobile data connection (to Singtel) was pretty weak or slow from the room. The next day, me and my wife were woken up quite early around 8am because there were some loud chattering that was going on that lasted more than half an hour, we realised our room was just near the staff room. The staff could've been considerate... We also discovered how dirty the bedsheets were in the morning when it was shaded by the sunlight (see photos below). I hope the staff could look at some of the negative points mentioned in this review.

It was the most relaxing staycation I’ve ever had! Check-in was smooth and they even served us iced tea and cooling towels. The rooms were massive and I love the decor! The food was absolutely delicious from Bedrock Origin! Don’t get me started on the spa which absolutely relaxing and luxurious. Everything here was different from what you get from most hotels that I’ve stayed in Singapore. There’s lots to do within the resort with free wellness activities from Aqua Zumba, Tai-chi, Bath Bomb making, yoga and many more! Definitely a stand out is that the hotel staff were extremely professional, helpful and really went the extra mile.

We book a room at Siloso Beach Resort , Sentosa Island . this is our first check in hotel for staycation in Singapore. The location is easy to access and we are able to have the room to be assigned within an hrs after the checked in . We like the swimming pool very much as it is a big pool with 100% spring water . My family enjoys the stay and there is a box to drop the room key for check out , just as easy to save times !

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

I arrived at Hotel about 03:35 AM. It was the time that all the people are sleeping. I was a little bit confused about my check-in because when I arrived at the counter he didn't ask me about my check in information. He just only asked me that I was paid or not and I said I've paid already then he showed me my room without asking to show my passport or check in information. Did he know me that I'm the girl who booked at 19th and arrived at 20th?? Maybe!!!🧐🧐 Never mind! The room is very fantastic and comfortable. I felt like I was in an spaceship🚀😅🥰. Since I was travel alone in Singapore I was afraid of sleeping at room alone. But the hotel is very safe .I really loved this place and next time when I come to Singapore, I promised that I'll book this hotel again ❤❤❤❤❤

We were a group of 12 and opted to stay in this hostel booking the whole 12 beds room, which we were very glad to have as it was the room at the top floor of the hostel, meaning the less noisy and more isolated one from the rest of the chaos. Let's start with the room: we had bunk beds with everything you may need: sheets, pillows, curtains to close them at night (great stuff for privacy this!) and personal lockers (you need to bring your own padlock). In the 12 beds room there was a private bathroom too with 2 toilets and a shower, which was very handy as it gave us some privacy. There are also more showers and toilets in the other floors that we could use. Breakfast was provided in a weird way: the first night we arrived we noticed a big plastic box in the room. The surprise was they have left us ”the breakfast” for the following 2 days in there, which consisted of bread, jam, tea and coffee. Not what we expected, but it did the job. And now let's move to the worse bit of the hostel: the common areas. There is way too much people hosted in the hostel for the size of the common living space they have. The kitchen is tiny, and there is a sofa at the entrance that is always busy and with lots of people sleeping on it, so you can't really use it. The people staying in the common areas (not sure if they were guests of the hostel or not) was a bit peculiar, so we were glad to have our own space. The front desk is not very friendly but the check-in and out was smooth and easy (beware check-in is not allowed before 3pm). Overall it's a very basic hostel but the location is good.

Booked the single room as a quick 2N getaway for the long Vesak Day weekend. Added breakfast at the restaurant for each day. The Good: - Room was very clean. No visible stains. Standard room amenities were present. - Business nature of hotel is apparent - solid desk for work, and Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Plenty of sockets available for devices. - Breakfast at the restaurant was solid. Was a bit disappointed that the selection didn't change on the second day, though. - Location meant easy access to food at Bugis Street area. Was able to walk to Rochor station within 3 minutes. The Bad: - Mini-fridge was damaged, and blanket was missing at first. Replacements arrived after around 20 minutes from call to housekeeping. - Television was rather grainy in quality, and channel selection was limited. The Weird: - Ended up being given a wheelchair accessible room. While the room was a bit more spacious than normal, the curtained off washroom area made it feel a bit like a hospital ward. Conclusion: - Great place if you're here for a business trip, or if you want to explore the area for a day or two. You might want to consider somewhere more luxurious if you want a relax-cation for longer.

As an Ascott group member, there are decent expectations of an Ascott experience in all the properties in which I had once stayed (Ascott, Somerset, Citadines). Citadines Rocher (recently opened in 2020) was one of my top choices in having a local staycation because of its location and price range. However, it was an overall disappointing experience, and here’s why: 1. No daily housekeeping service 2. Our bathroom door could not close. It was completely off the ledge. 3. Reception is busy all the time. Phone calls are often not answered 4. This hotel was most probably a designated hotel used for both Malaysian citizens who were unable to return home due to locked borders, as well as returning Singaporeans to serve their mandatory 14-day Stay-Home Notice (SHN). There were confirmed COVID-19 cases within my period of stay. We were notified by a letter from the management. The least the management could do was to provide a mask or sanitizers to guests. We also chanced upon 2 medical workers fully donned in PPE escorted a guest to the ambulance. Scary stuff. 5. We took our own trash out of the room since day 1 of check-in. It was not cleared even upon checking out. Dear Citadines Rocher, please review your services. I had absolute faith and would like to continue giving my support to Ascott despite this awful stay.

The location of this hotel is definitely not as accessible as all other hotels I went before. It is only easier if you go via car for the first time. Subsequently when you explore the area a bit more, then you can try the path via the UBS building itself. This information perhaps should be made known on the hotel's website. In terms of cleanliness, one of the cups in my room was not washed cleanly. I can see the lipstick mark of a previous user, with some coffee dripping down that lip mark. Had to manually wash it. I would have been more prepared if I brought some detergent along. In terms of service, you must know that they do not provide additional towels for you, even upon request. You can only go and exchange with what you already have. Example, if you need an extra towel to wrap your hair, it is not possible. One room, if 2 pax, they will only give u 2 towels and one floor carpet. I think this is not a good point. The cafe lodge is nicely decorated, just that food have to wait at least 30mins, even if it is a simple set. And not all food are available. But can just chitchat while waiting, or maybe next time just order in advance. The good thing is that at least there is no insect in the room and bed sheets are pretty clean.

There are weird black stains on the bedsheet and the toilet roll was near empty upon check it. The package which includes the steak at opus bar and grill was fabulous. The food was very nice and the portions were generous, and yes free flow of wine (both red and white for two hours). No contact check in/out was easy and fuss free. Though you would have to download the app, the hosts were always online and quick to respond to any needs. Cabin M may be small for 2 pax apart from the bed, but i stayed alone and it was just right for me. The shared baths were mostly kept clean as housekeeping would come by every now and then. Toilets were dependent on whether the other people on the same floor used it responsibly as well. Kitchen had basic necessities e.g. microwave, water dispenser and sink. Well located, really nice staff for everything, including informations. Bed was comfortable, good shower, breakfast simple but ok. The 2 biggest problems are the travellers who don't respect the sharing room after 23h00 (need a corfu or to be advise) and the room on the street side with a restaurant open 24/24, are to to noisy. You just get little sleep. Coming from Airport, with MRT get off at Jelan Besar exit B, turn right, walk to Dickson Road. There a vending machine where you can get food and snacks if you get hungry at night at the lobby area. The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

Stayed there for a night fully paid using cash (not using singapore rediscover voucher) the boutique hotel is located just behind LKY Oxley home. Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.

When I arrive , check in counter had no guests but had 4-5 staff at the counter. They were chatting among themselves so I just went to a random one that finally made eye contact. During check in it was fine, except he didn’t really tell me anything like check out time, which lobby to use and was rather dismissive? Just gave me the keys say ok 😂 The room was dusty and the floor was a bit sticky if you walk barefooted. There’s no toilet paper but got tissue paper. Fridge was not cleared out from previous guests so I didn’t use it. Walls are really thin and I could hear the cleaners(?) talking super loudly amongst themselves and I could hear the tv from the room opp ? Pretty sure I didn’t get the free upgrade room either but I didn’t ask cos I wasn’t sure what’s the difference at this point. Check out is only thru the counter and had to queue which is fine but when a family came in and cut queue the counter just went with it? If there’s a quick check out box somewhere please enlighten me. Cos the previous time I was there the counter said there isn’t . I know this sounds like petty stuff but the last time I was there it wasn’t like this
