|28.48km from city centerThis Garden Inn was well staffed, operated, and clean. The staff was friendly, took care of my needs, and made for a worry free stay. It’s back off the main road a bit, so it was pretty quiet for being in a big city. The only suggestion I might make was the lack of lighting and signage as you turn off the main road.

|4.88km from city centerSince it is a motel at reasonable prices, I am surprised for comfort, cleaning and care of the rooms. Large and free parking. Educated and friendly staff. Finally USB takes on the comforts to load the smartphone. In a strategic position, I recommend it at 100 percent

|20.47km from city centerI have travelled a lot. Mo is by far the best front staff I have ever encountered. Friendly always. Always asking if there is anything we need. Had a baby with me and she would always come up to us and ask how we were doing. Marriott— do whatever it takes to keep her. The staff and hotel make it feel like you are home even though you are not. We will 100% stay there again.

|21.3km from city centerThe hotel itself is prefecture fine. Nice rooms and friendly staff. My big issue is there are no water fountain or bottle refill stations or complimentary water bottles. Houston Texas is extremely hot so this is a conscious choice to make travelers pay for their over priced $5 water bottles. I thought Marriott was better than this. So disappointed.

|9.62km from city centerWhen I arrived, I was welcomed friendly, my room was upgraded. After not staying here for a few years, it felt like old, home. The hotel is located in the centre of Houston Westheimer, near the highways and the vein, where many good quality restaurants are located at short distance. Restaurant has good kitchen if necessary and extensive a la carte breakfast. If I visit Houston, I prefer this hotel, good price / quality ratio

|22.71km from city centerDid not have breakfast, eat a few days each person 12 knives a day, children half price. Self-service, average American breakfast. Not expensive or cheap. It is not convenient to have no car in the United States. So staying here is much cheaper than downtown. Drive to the museum area, follow the morning peak for about 40min-1h, and go to the space center for about 1.2-1.5h. Can be tollway, less than 2.5 knives for each of the 7 seats, not expensive, take the right cash channel, below 20 can be zero. Houston is planning very well, the museum areas are all together, naturally, children are close.

The free breakfast that comes with the room at Embassy Suites was fantastic!! Made to order delicious omelets and a hot food line that is served to you is delicious. Rooms were clean and quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful. The complimentary Happy Hour is a plus too!!

|29.63km from city centerUsed to be La Quinta, older property, safe, quiet and an excellent value for a budget friendly blue collar worker. Staff, front desk to housecleaning to maintenance all courteous doing the best with what they have to work with. My scores and ratings are compared to the average La Quinta being a 5 and a backwoods roach motel being a 1. Great for me but wouldn't take my wife to anything less than a 5 rated Laquinta

The bar and restaurant were closed but the do have a mini bar at the front desk and great eateries you can walk to right out front. The fitness room was clean. Also would like to say Andre ( I think was his name) is a great employee and has a great sense of humor 😊. Glad to hear your training taller staff 😂

|8.3km from city centerIt was a dark and stormy night. Well, actually it was a hot and humid one full of delayed flights and my running from one end of the Oakland airport to another. I wound up arriving at 3:00 AM expecting a quick check in, so I could sleep after a long day. That didn't happen. The reservation was canceled and I was billed for one night, and I was told I MIGHT be accommodated after the cancellation was reversed and I was refunded the fee for a no show. I was told that I needed to resolve it with Wyndham reservations, called them and found out they were closed. The front desk clerk then condescended to give me a room at the rate promised when I made the reservation for one night and was essentially told, ”Take it or leave it. Screw you, and have a nice day.” The next morning, I attempted to resolve the problem through Wyndham reservations and told it was the property's problem, I had to resolve it at the front desk, with an attitude of, ”Screw you, and have a nice day.” I then confronted the General Manager, who was at the front desk when I went to the front desk as she was manning it. After making a few phone calls, she resolved the issue regarding the reservation and I got the rate promised by Wyndham. She even comped an item after all was resolved. That said, it should never have hit that point. The guaranteed reservation should have been honored on my arrival and I should not have been given a, ”Screw you and have a nice day,” attitude. The rest of the stay wasn't too bad. The room was all right, but the way things are arranged means you can't indulge and watch TV in bed. The internet connection worked well, and the grounds around the pool were quite nice. If you need something printed out off a USB, however, that cannot be done at the workstation provided for guest use. After the bad check in experience, the rest of the staff was not bad. That said, the horrid experience at check in, and the hoops I had to jump through to get the property and Wyndham to resolve the issue negate the efforts of everyone else to make the stay pleasant. Accordingly the answer to the question, ”Would I stay here again?” is a definite, ”No.”

|8.87km from city centerThe location of the hotel is very good, there are many places to visit in addition to Galleries, Gallerie can go shopping for a long time, the city is very full, not worse than New York! There is also a 24-hour Starbucks around, and a DWS selling shoes will open at 9am! Take a 10 minute walk to the Rich Oak District to experience the rich shopping environment, watching movies in expensive cinemas! The hotel room is large and the accommodation is very comfortable! Clean, I like it very much! The front desk service is also superb! Don't drive out, don't go out, Chinese people will be robbed when they walk on the road! It is very convenient to call a takeaway at the hotel! Is it like hungry in the country?

|0.47km from city centerWe stayed at the Lancaster in September 2022. It’s a great hotel with comfy rooms and delicious breakfast. The real gem of this hotel is the staff. They are all so friendly, personable and professional. Renee was the member of staff who stood out. She went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a comfortable and happy one, especially when we caught covid and had to quarantine. She kept checking up on us, always making sure we had all we needed. The hotel is in a central location, right in the middle of the theatre district and right by lots of offices. Would recommend for either business or leisure breaks.

|1.18km from city centerBartenders Cru and Cat are lovely people. They are true professionals.: Very attentive, attention to details, friendly, and great smiles. Cru helped me ensure I chose a wine I would like and he recommended the grilled chicken and shrimp, which turned out to be every bit as good as he said it would be and even more food than I anticipated. I would definitely order it again. Lobby bar is big with a great layout. Guest rooms are spacious and I like that they have a ceiling fan. Very comfortable night’s sleep. I would love to stay at this hotel again.

|17.3km from city centerWe took our kids on a mini ”Stay-cation” for Spring Break. The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The biggest hassle that I ran into was getting extra towels on the way out to the pool and once we returned to our room. We were a large group and had two rooms so the kiddos needed towels for the pool and of course towels for baths afterward. We ate off property at surrounding restaurants. My favorite part was the hot tub--much needed. Pool & hot tub ar open from 6am- 10pm.

|0.55km from city centerI'm currently on my last night of a five night stay. I was so looking forward to staying here as the reviews are generally quite favorable and I usually like the JW Marriott brand properties. Unfortunately, my own experience during this stay was not very good. The hotel seems quite busy (long waits for the elevator some days) so they do seem to be getting traffic through the property. My suite was nice...not extraordinary...but comfortable. As far as staff go, most are quite helpful and friendly which is good. Now the problems. I saw very little to discern this property from a standard Sheraton or Marriott. Nothing about it felt like ”luxury”. It didn't have those extra touches one would expect from a JW. The bar soap in the bathroom is so tiny that only a sliver is left after two showers. It was the size soap you would expect to get at a Motel 6. The Griffin Lounge was a big disappointment. I went the first morning for breakfast and it seemed like a standard Sheraton lounge breakfast offering. Nothing refined or special about it at all. Both the presentation and the quality of the food offerings were severely under par. I never returned after that even though I was entitled to get it free every day as an Ambassador Elite member. I ate breakfast outside of the hotel for the remainder of my stay. Also, after the lousy breakfast on day 1 , I never attended the evening reception so I cannot comment on what that is like. The most glaring problem at this property is that when you call down with a service request, usually no-one answers the phone. You want to have your car brought around? No-one responds. You want to arrange for housekeeping to clean your room? No-one responds. You want laundry picked up? No-one responds. You want to know why your laundry was not delivered as promised? No-one responds. All the above things happened to me. Out of a total of 18-20 calls down with service requests, the phone was actually answered only twice. That is a shockingly poor service fulfillment failure rate. Imagine, when you want to use your car, there is literally no way to get that process started from your room...because no-one answers the phone calls. I am stunned by what a failed process they have for handling calls from the guest rooms. I actually complained to the front desk about this. The guy says the phones are answered by staff behind the scenes. However it is that they manage it, I can tell them their process doesn't work. I get to Houston fairly frequently but I doubt I would return to the JW Marriott Downtown. The combination of the sub-par Griffin lounge coupled with staff inability to answer phone calls, deems this a no-go property for me. Interestingly, this is my second JW stay for me since the pandemic started. Both were big disappointments. Perhaps the JW brand is cutting back on quality and services generally...effectively moving JW properties closer to Sheraton/Marriott standards. Overall,

|0.41km from city centerI wanted a hotel close to NASA Space Center, and this was the one. It's right across the street. The grounds are clean and neat. The lobby is a huge area which include the business center, lounge and restaurant seating. The desk people are all very nice and helpful. The room was wonderful with a queen/king size bed, a fold-out couch, table, desk, dresser and wardrobe. The bathroom was large and the shower was amazing. There are tons of restaurants in the area to choose from. The only drawback was the onsite food service. They are only open from 7am-10am and 7pm-10pm. Also for what you get (very limited menu) it was very expensive. But I still loved the hotel.

|15.58km from city centerThe younger brother and sister at the front desk were very good. At first, the warm air in the room was broken. They helped us change the room and the younger brother was very enthusiastic. The younger brother said that he never left Houston and wished him a trip to more places as soon as possible.
But each floor of the hotel has a place where there is no water to connect to the ice. There is a place on the first floor to connect to the water and the ground is particularly dirty.
The advantage is that it is very convenient to go to the airport and the sound is not bad.

|25.3km from city centerConnected by tram to the airport, coming up the escalator after a day of stress and travel delays, the lobby pleasantly welcomes, and the smiles from desk agents wrap you like a toasty blanket. Check in took about one minute and we were on our way to the most comfortable room. The hotel has a fun, futuristic layout. Club M was 10 stars on a 5-star scale for food, snacks, coffee - you name it. Restaurant serves great food - try the pizza - and enjoy upbeat service. Our stay was unexpected and we were pretty sour to have an entire day delay before our connecting flight, but WOW - I’m so thankful we stayed here because it was hard to be in a bad mood for too long in this very nice hotel. If you travel frequently, check out the flight store - geared for flight crews, they sell very durable luggage, cool lanyards and all types of accessories.
