      We had booked a Luxury Escapes 3 night deal without any research as Luxury escapes always good. When we did look at some reviews we were a bit concerned. However on arrival the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Changed us to a ground floor room with walk in shower as my wife had recently had a new knee and there is no lift to second floor. We stayed in hotel part so cant speak about the cabins bit room was clean and comfortable. Place is allgetting little dated but it is a massive place and upkeep must be a problem with covid. Is a family place so expect lots of kids to be there especially in the indoor pool. Restaurant was OK reasonable price, family orientated food pizzas etc. Nice bar area. Few shops in what is The Swiss Village including cake and coffee. Good base for touring. Previous comments re staff we found complete opposite. Need bit of basic training for youngsters they have waiting tables for dinner though.

      We arrived but had to park out on the street as carpark blocked for a wedding. Went inside to checkin and the not so friendly lady informed us there was a wedding on and carpark wouldn't be opening till after 7pm. She was going to the wedding and clearly didn't want to be dealing with guests. She told us it would probably be noisy later on in the night as most guests were booked to stay. And there was plenty of noise at 11pm, 12pm and then 130am. Had we of known there was an event on we would have booked elsewhere, or we could have been put in a room down the end where it was possibly a bit more quiet. Room OK, view nice, customer service not so good
