Came for 1 nice get stayed 4. Love this place. Be sure to try green massage (left on exit). Also go across the road and swim in their pool. Loved the easy access to things. Be careful of the taxi mafia charging too much.

We stayed at the White Cottage for 1 night before flying to Bangkok having caught the ferry from Koh Tao. It is the perfect place to stay, close to the beach (3 min walk ) close to Fishermans village - lots of places to eat/shops/massage places - walkable distance but we got a bike to explore, and 15 min drive to the airport. The staff we very friendly and helpful, within 5 minutes of asking we had a rental bike outside - cost 150 baht per day. We booked our airport transfer though them too. Our room was clean and a/c was a dream. very comfortable bed and proper duvet!! Simple bathroom but they provided us with some shampoo when we asked. The little pool was lovely and refreshing with a few comfy sun loungers. perfect little stopover hotel or great base to go and explore the island

We've just returned from the Peace Resort and what a wonderful experience it was, especially for a first visit to Thailand. The timing of our visit could have been better and although worrying about our flight home, we were reassured by Sandra, the assistant manager who gave us her personal business card telling us that should we encounter any problems, what ever the time, call her and she’d do what ever she could to help us. Location, the Peace Resort is in a great location being only a short ride to the airport, it fronts onto Bo Phut beach and is only a short 10-15 minute walk by either road or beach to the bustling Fisherman’s village which offers excellent class restaurants, bars and street food. Style, it oozes style in a fantastic Thai zen setting in wonderful grounds. If it’s marble, chrome etc that you want then this is not for you. Accommodation, this is mainly in several different types of detached villa, a lot offering a private pool. Our villa was superb, well appointed, there was even a steam room in the massive bathroom but the piece de resistance was when the curtains were pulled back to show us our very own infinity pool overlooking the beach. Restaurant/Bar, the Thai food we ate was delicious, also there were several themed nights to sample Thai cuisine. I’m no early riser but breakfast was super, fresh and varied and great service with a smile. Staff, for us this makes the Peace Resort the five star experience it really is. There are too many staff to mention individually but from Reception, Restaurant and Bar, Gardeners, Room Service, they were all superb. So a big than you to the Peace Resort and especially Sandra. Steve and Carol and friends.

The last time I came to Sumei to live at Bo Phut Resort & SPA, I felt very good. I wanted to change to a hotel this time. I found that this is still one of the highest rated Thai hotels after two years, so I decided to continue to order it. When I checked in, I talked to the people at the front desk about some of the last visits. The other party was overjoyed. I checked the system and confirmed that I was visiting for the second time. So I upgraded our two suites for three nights for free. The single-family Villa also sent a bunch of coupons. On the day of our check-out, my wife wanted to go to the spa at noon, so the hotel took the initiative to postpone our check-out time for three hours to three in the afternoon. Really can't be intimate! The great thing about this hotel is that it is very clean both outdoors and indoors. The floor in the yard is not black on the day and the environment is particularly good. Birds and squirrels are often visited in rooms and restaurants. The breakfast at the Bophut Spa Hotel is very good, the variety is good, the taste is good, the fried rice (now fried) and the mango are strongly recommended for breakfast, and the quality of the fruit at their breakfast is better than that of the Four Seasons Hotel. The only downside is that the sand on the private beach is a bit thicker, but it is not recommended, it is highly recommended! ! !

We spent 6 nights in a run down, worn bungalow. There was a disused pool by our bathroom which was a lovely breeding ground for mosquitos. The accommodation was musty and aged. The staff were the biggest disappointment. The reception was strained and the staff were not interested in helping in many situations. We asked if someone could help us with a taxi and the lady at reception sent us on to the road to flag our own down. We asked if there were any mosquito coils, the staff told us we should buy our own. The man in the restaurant was hard to approach as he made me feel like I was annoying him, just asking for a menu. The restaurant food was average quality, we didn't eat there at all. The first night we arrived, our daughter had a fever and the security guard noticed this and he came to me and told me if we had ANY problems in the middle of the night, ANYTHING, he said, that we should call him and he would help. This was super nice and so reassuring. The breakfast was fine and the breakfast staff were much more helpful. The location is excellent. A walk along the beach or road to the village and close by to a Family Mart. The accommodation was not value for money. I would not recommend this accommodation but I would recommend Bophut.

I stayed in October 2019 and I regularly visited there for 2 weeks in January 2020. The individual bungallows are nice and clean. The staff is wonderful. The restaurant has nice healthy food and I would eat there every day. Also nice selection of wines if you are wine drinker. Sun chairs and umbrellas and bean bags are available on the beach. It is also a nice swimming spot. The owner is a great guy who remembers his guests, greats them personally, and helps any way he can. He is very responsive to email as well and quite rapidly. While I did not have a room there in January 2020 due to some internet mix up on my end, the owner still welcomed me to use the sun chairs and I ate at the restaurant every day. I plan to go back again this year. I have stayed in many other places over the many years I visited Thailand and Samui but this is the place that truly resonates with me for comfort and the staff (can't emphasize how much I love the staff there). Also if you need laundry it is 3 min walk and per kilo, the convenience store is just 5 min away. You can also easily walk to Fisherman's Village on the beach -- there every Friday you find a night market. Thank you again to Cactus Bungalow for making my stays in Samui great and memorable.

My first stayed with Hansar from 20th-24th October 2020. (Room 2204). Everything was amazing and awesome 👍👍👍 For new travellers, i would recommended you guys to spend your holidays here... why? 1. Location: The hotel is far from the airport only 10-20 mins which they have airport pick-up service, otherwise they also have pick-up service from the pier to hotel as your requirement. It takes time about 30 mins with comfortable car. (9/10) 2. Hotel staff: All of staff here is nice and polite. They all have warm welcome smile to new guests and visitors which i felt it once arrived here. (10/10) 3. Room & Facilities: Based on my booking requested, this room is great if compared with special rate which i spend for this trip. That’s too worthy. (10/10) 4. Breakfast: For food selection is not too various, but i’m not sure if it’s because of COVID situation effected to it. However, tate is not too bad. (8/10) 5. Hotel Surroundings: There is one nice bar and restuarant called Coco Tam nearby. Just only a few mins walk from hotel. You can spend your night by eat and drink there, moreover Fire Dance Crews Show will be fullfill your night as well. Second, there is convinent shop called Family Mart which is only 500 meters away from hotel. Besides, motobike rental shop is opposite to Family Mart shop. (8/10) P.S. : I love cocktail here 😉😉👍👍 If you choose to stay here, you wont disappointed 😉😉😉

This is the PERFECT and most Gorgeous place to stay in Bophut! It's a little Paradise - Jungle filled with so many exotic plants, flowers, Monkey statues, lilly ponds and birds chirping at every corner! I have done extensive research prior to staying in Bophut and came across few 5-star hotels in this particular area that looked really nice (Zazen Boutique, Hansar, Bophut resort etc..) but so happy in the end that I chose Anantara. We have already experienced Anantara brand before - Anantara Riverside Bangkok, Anantara in desert of Abu Dhabi, Anantara with elephants in Chiang Rai - and were blown away by each of them so were really looking forward to the one in Koh Samui. Once we settled in our beautiful resort I walked to other resorts just to see them for myself and although they were lovely too and particularly the Zazen Boutique hotel (this would be my 2nd choice - really pretty too) - in terms of service and overall 'design' Anantara beats them all! A lot of people debate whether to stay in Hansar hotel or Anantara - both next to eachother...but for us though Hansar looked lovely too and up to 5 star rating it just didn't look Thai enough...just too modern and too Plain in design. It didn't have as much character in comparison to Anantara which was full of little touches, full of flowers and plants..just so much Thai personality in design of the whole complex. The first impressions once you arrive is WOOOWWW! The Entrance through the Lilly pond and then follow by a beautiful Dark wood - Thai style lobby with another Picturesque huge Lilly pond must be one of the most gorgeous entrances in the World!! I can't believe how pretty this is!!! We were greeted with Welcome gong then taken to the air-conditioned Library where we got offered welcome drink, towels and Thai snack. What a great gesture! We were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and upon checking in a lovely lady called HABI Told us that we got upgraded from a standard garden view room to the room overlooking pool and sea!! Ahhh we were so happy!! The room was Absolutely Beautiful! The view from balcony was fantastic! As we walked in we saw gorgeous elephant towels arranged on the bed , tropical fruit platter, welcoming letter and Habi brought us a delicious coconut cake too! Thank you so much for these brilliant treats and for a lovely Welcome by Habi I love how every balcony had flowers and a 'lounger' - nice spot to watch chirping birds from.. What makes this place Special is the stunning, immaculate grounds and Warm, welcoming staff but also fantastic beachfront location right next door to the Fisherman Wharf! Food is great - so much to choose from breakfast buffet! Eclipse restaurant is superb!! Had the best mango sticky rice there and the food presentation is perfect. One night we enjoyed beach buffet dinner with fire show - highly recommended! Also SPA IS A MUST!!! Seriously the most pretty and relaxing spa i

We wanted a sunny holiday in January to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, and chose Thailand. After lots of research, we selected the island of Koh Samui, and the Samui Palm Beach Resort. A short drive from Samui International Airport, this hotel is set back from a main road and borders Bophut Beach. Our first impressions on arrival at the Hotel were all positive - attractive low-rise buildings, well maintained gardens, with everything looking clean and tidy. Service on arrival outside Reception was first class - we were immediately greeted and led into the cool of the building whilst porters dealt with our luggage. We were led to comfortable couches, and given cool drinks and scented towels from the refrigerator - very welcome after a long plane journey ! Check in was speedy, friendly and professional, accompanied by the smiles and friendliness which we now know Thailand is famous for. We were very pleased with our room. Spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, a wide balcony overlooking a secluded garden, separate dressing area and a really big bathroom, it was impressive. Furniture wise, there was lots of storage space in the room, and comfortable seating in the bedroom and on the balcony. A large closet was built into the dressing area. All the modern conveniences that a lot of us now come to expect were present - tea/coffee making equipment, modern multichannel TV, minibar (with complimentary bottled water) ample electrical outlets, hair dryer, safe (free of charge) in addition to various toiletries ( with a lovely scent of tea ) accessories and fluffy white towels, the Hotel also provided lots of useful items - cotton bath robes, mule slippers, beach towels, flip flops, a beach bag and even umbrellas ! Our bathroom had his and her sinks, a large separate shower area and a full sized bath Housekeeping was carried out daily, to a high standard. Free wifi was available throughout the various buildings and grounds. Everyone who we interacted with was helpful and friendly. A special mention of two wonderful ladies, Noi (Front of House Manager) and Mang, (Manager in Residence). They work hard, always find time for guests, and really try to please ! They really made us feel special. We would also like to thank Mr Omapatt, General Manager, who we met a few times and found to be a real gentleman. Food and drink - we ate in both the Trade Winds Restaurant and the Sea Grille Restaurant in a sister hotel next door. Decor, service and food were very good. Amazing choice of hot and cold food and beverages at breakfast. Menus were varied, with Themed dinners on different days every week - we tried most of them, including a special Chinese New Year Celebration with cocktails, a special menu, music and Dragons (great fun!) - all very good. Staff were so friendly and attentive - we must thank Ex and Krist (Restaurant Management) and Mr Wut, Head Chef - lovely people! Note: When we returned to our room on ou

We stayed at a special promotion of Corona. The facility was luxurious and the staff were very friendly. The site is large, but you can also call the shuttle. When I called for a bandage, a staff member with a first aid kit rushed to me. The restaurant at night had a lot of mosquitoes and I was a little uncomfortable. It was a pity that I couldn't eat the famous Tom Yum Kung pizza, probably because the restaurant at noon had a small menu in Corona. There were times when it was difficult to come even if I called because the number of staff was not enough. The breakfast buffet was also delicious.

This hotel is better than expected! When I first arrived, I saw that the entrance and the reception hall were very small. I thought that I was in the wrong place. As a result, I continued to check in and found that there was no hole in the sky. The hotel was actually very big. The swimming pool at the entrance of the room is big enough, 75 meters long, and it is very cool! The shamrock pool by the sea is especially beautiful, with the surrounding lounge chairs, pillows, bath towels, blue sky and sea, a beautiful view is incomparable. The most beautiful time of the day is when the sun sets, soak in the sea or on the recliner, you can appreciate it. It can be said that there is the most beautiful sunset in Koh Samui. The hotel has a Sunday party on Sundays, very lively, nice music, passionate dancers, will take care of every guest and interact with you. The room is large, two washbasins, the bed is large, the bed quality is high, and the sleep is very comfortable. For self-driving friends, this hotel is definitely a place to really relax. Although there is no Chaweng around the hotel, it can even be said to be desolate. If you drive by yourself, it is not a problem. There are several small restaurants about 1 km away from the hotel. It is very clean, delicious and welcoming. It is also worth trying.

I couldn't bear my honeymoon 7 years ago, and finally made up for my regret this time. The hotel is a bit on the side, you have to go through a small alley, basically stay in the hotel and do not come out. Then the room was very large. Part of the sea view pool room we stayed in, room 12, we could not see the sea. The hotel has two infinity pools, and there is a cliff restaurant for taking photos, the view is very good, not lost to Bali's alaya. The New Year is set to almost 4,000 a night, the price is not high, and I stayed for two nights, I feel a little loss. Breakfast was good and could be à la carte. Special reminder, the door is locked at night, the ecology is too good, there are too many wild animals, and it ’s a bit scary to run over at night. Some fruits and a bag of potato chips are placed at the door. . . .

This must be for sure one of the Most Impressive lobby in the World!! The views onto the ocean are just Breathtaking! You feel like you are on a boat! What a great start as soon as you arrive to this place! The open - air lobby is situated on top of cliff and it has some gorgeous features and lovely furnishing! We have booked CLUB ROOM with ocean views (which was very close to the Lobby on a similar level) and as we walked in we were just ...in awe!! The whole room is beautiful . Gorgeous bed with so many pillows, nice setting area, wardobes, high ceilings, fantastic free standing bath and rain shower. The room was HUGE!! And those views from the balcony AHHH...watching The sunset from here was absolutely Magical What a treat! As it was our wedding anniversary the staff arranged gorgeous Elephant towels decoration on the bed for us, left bottle of bubbly and delicious cake. Also some macaroons, Thai sweets, and tropical fruit as a Welcome gift. Wow! We are so thankful and grateful for that Amazing! We had a Access to a Club Lounge Which was situated in a lobby area -just next to the reception desk -so of course were able to enjoy the magnificent views while sipping a cocktail (or two..) I must say this is one of the best club lounges - the Afternoon tea is Incredible!!! Presented beautifully in a bird cage and plentiful too. Coctails and canapes during cocktail hour were fantastic too! The staff here were Always friendly and attentive. Well done to them. Definitely worth paying extra for room with Club Access - very impressed. We had daily dinner (as part of our Half Board package) and ate at both restaurants -Amber and Flames - both great! Every meal we had we couldn't fault it. And again lovely staff here too. Got HB package as we thought there is only 1 restaurant in the area..but it turns out now we saw 3 ...so though quite isolated you can still try some options just outside of the resort if you want to keep costs down on food (just by walking down by the beach). The one thing that we loved particularly about this Resort was the fact they have 6 POOLS!!! What a genius idea! And some of them didn't seem to be used by other guests so it felt like we have a private pool to ourselves!! Amazing!! Loved each of them - red pool, 3 blue pools , orange pool and yellow one. The walkways between rooms and villas are full of lush , tropical plants, all well kept. There's a suspension bridge too - another genius idea. Beach is lovely...though public feels very secluded. The long pier is a great asset too! Tried spa - as received email prior to my arrival offering 50% discount on spa treatments - and that was great also. The spas at 5-star hotels in Thailand are generally expensive so if you can get a deal then that makes it more reasonable. We rented complimentary bikes and visited local village area. Really enjoyed watching Thai folks carrying on with their daily lifes. Overall this is a bea

Chaweng Beach
We stayed at the Chaweng Garden Beach Resort over NYE, and loved it, we would definitely go back again. The staff were great, and the resort was really lovely. It was was alot nicer than the photos look. It's very beachy so the whole resort has sandy lanes between all the cabins, and 2 pools. 1 pool is next to the restaurant and has massages next to it, and the other pool has a swim up bar. The restaurant was really good, and the breakfast was quite good with a mix of asian and western foods on offer. The resort backs directly onto the beach and the front of the resort is on the main street in Chaweng right by lots of good restaurants and shops. The beach was lovely and clean, with sun lounger chairs available. You can even eat dinner right on the beach, with the restaurant setting up tables on the sand, which was great There is a modern shopping centre about 5 minutes walk away which has a grocery store, cinema, and many other shops and restaurants. The airport is only a 10 min drive away as well. There is no gym at the resort but there is a very tiny gym available for a very small cost which you can find in the side street down the further driveway of the resort, it belongs to another building but you can go there for around 80 baht a day I think it was. The room we had was a cabin, and was large and had a small bar fridge, hairdryer and huge bathroom, and was very nicely decorated in a wooden, Thai style. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s was my first time in Thailand/Koi Samui and we chose Vana Bella to celebrate our anniversary and my partner's birthday. From the moment we booked this hotel via Trip.com we have been very fortunate that the Vana Belle hotel team have looked after us and our stay has been very special and enjoyable. From birthday cake for my partner, to relaxing at the beach pool with the sound of the ocean lapping the shore, everything about this place is just perfect. The food is great, the service is excellent and the staff are exceptionally wonderful and polite. The check-in itself is a unique experience as you sit over the beautiful ocean with a hand cleaning ritual and traditional welcome drink. The rooms are amazing and well appointed with your own private pool and beautiful views. We both left this place with relaxed and surely would come back again. Thank you so much, Vana Belle and trip.com
