I have had the wonderful pleasure to travel the world. From Australia to Asia and many points in between, and stayed in more hotels (for work and leisure) than I could possible count. I am a firm believer of Trip Advisor and because I heed the reviews, I do my part to post them. I am posting this so that Staybridge gets more visibility. You earned it. My wife and I are regular middle class people. While we like high class accommodations, it is usually not within our price range. So, we just need something clean and decent. But, this place exceeded that to highest order. It could be categorized as high end. The hotel is new. Everything is tastefully decorated and clean. The room was large and modern. Stainless steel appliances. Hugh television and bed. This is not a hotel room but a studio apartment. And further more, great hot breakfast included. Close to train station so no need to drive into Boston (and, did I mention free parking). I was so impressed on every level. Our next time to Boston, we will not be looking elsewhere. This is where we will be staying. Great job and great service!

This hotel had just opened when I booked 2 nights in July 2019. Out of desperation because Boston hotels were full and what was left was priced at $600+ which was ridiculous for the quality on offer. So we compromised. The hotel is just for insurance salesmen. It is way out of Boston, (some 11 km) and even having a car wasn't helpful as the traffic was a nightmare. The hotel is new and the rooms feel that way. They are not huge but they are certainly comfortable. It was very expensive at $300 plus for a carpark way outside Boston. I had all sorts of issues with untrained staff who doublecharged my VISA card. The manager had to come out to apologise twice and they offered me complimentary breakfast and even a complimentary dinner (yes, the staff really stuffed up my VISA card, twice). Being in a car park, parking wasn't an issue and it was at no extra charge. But unless Boston is full, and if you are not visiting as a tourist or businessperson, this is not a place for you. There will have conventions here no doubt but the casual traveller should avoid this place. Location is terrible and it is purely utilitarian. Bedding was great though, and inside the room we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. But outside...

I was trying to find an affordable and convenient place for my parents to stay for one night while in town for a graduation. Upon arrival, I thought - well, this isn't too bad - phew. We get into the lobby and I knew things were going downhill. The laundry is right off the front desk, door wide open... the area behind the front desk was piled high with deliveries, laundry carts, and general disarray. We stood for a little bit, waiting for someone to notice we had come in. When she finally got there, it was harried and rushed as the phone was now ringing as well. The clerk was very friendly but asked us to wait while she picked up the phone. The conversation went a little like this. "304? That should be empty..... No...did you knock? ......Last night, he was in 307. You need to check that room. ........No one should be in 304.........That...that's not good." Eek. Ok, I just crossed my fingers and hoped my parents weren't on the third floor (they weren't). First, we got lost because the room number system is weird. I won't bother describing it but it was confusing. We then found the room after going down the dimly light, highly stained and scuffed hallway. It smelled. It was a combo of many cooked foods wafting into the hallway plus age/mustiness. There were many, MANY cameras dotting the ceilings - most of which looked fairly new - so that's comforting and yet, disconcerting all at the same time. The room was worn, but it was clean. Definitely smelled musty, even after the AC ran for a bit. There are no amenities to speak of. No plastic cups, no sundries, no ice bucket/ice machine. Very basic and utilitarian. If you wanted anything for use in the kitchenette, you have to request it from the front desk. I would think that if you were hard pressed to find a cheap place to stay during construction or a search for a permanent residence, this could work as it did have a basic kitchenette (with two stove-top burners, but no oven). There were constantly smokers in front of the building which was a little annoying as you had to walk through the cloud of smoke to enter. Wish the property would designate an area for them away from the entrance. I just don't think I'd ever put my parents (or anyone else) through that again. It simply wasn't a nice place for an overnight stay. I can see the value in a cheap place to hang your hat when you are in a pinch, but I'd rather shell out an extra $30 a night to go up the road to the Hyatt.

The distance from the hotel to the airport is about 20 minutes. If there is no traffic jam, it will take about half an hour to get to the city center. If it is traffic jam, it will take about 50 minutes. I stayed at this hotel for a total of five days and booked a total of two rooms. After checking in, I found out that it was an ensuite. The room size is very large. Very pleasant surprise. I booked a room without breakfast. I brought an electric heating pot myself. The breakfast at the American hotel was always uncomfortable, so I bought bread, eggs, and milk from the supermarket and ate it in the morning. Crossing the road from the hotel is a big shopping mall, supermarket, very convenient for shopping. When I went, it happened to be the memory day of the United States. The malls were discounted at the discount, so they went shopping. Near the mall, on the other side of the store, there is a Chinese restaurant, but the hanging brand is a Japanese restaurant. In fact, many waiters and dishes are Chinese food, which is suitable for friends who like to eat Chinese food. More than 20 minutes drive from the hotel to one of Boston's largest outlet stores, shopping is very convenient. This hotel is a very cost effective hotel. Worth choosing.

The location is good, the price is ok, but there will be an additional facility fee of around $180 per night. I don't know if it is a case. The two-night hotel that was booked separately by Ctrip, the front desk could not find the corresponding information. It took a long time to check. I didn't know if it was a docking problem, but in the end it was all smoothly.

I have stayed at this Hyatt multiple times in the last two months. My mom is undergoing Chemo at MGH so I decided to reserve a room so that I would have a clean and safe place to wait while she was in treatment. The staff could not have been kinder. My room was always immaculately clean. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier. You are clearly a class act. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a high quality hotel in downtown Boston.

The Charlesmark hotel is right on Boylston Street in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. When planning our trip, I didn't know much about the neighborhoods but feel incredibly lucky that I found this hotel. It's less than a mile to Boston Commons, and we walked from the hotel to all the standard tourist attractions, so the location was fantastic (and it's next door to the fanciest looking GameStop we've seen, haha). My philosophy on hotel rooms when traveling is that I just want a clean room with a shower with good water pressure to come back to at the end of the day. I don't use a lot of hotel amenities, and so some of the issues that have been brought up in other reviews weren't an issue for me. The room: The room itself was on the smaller side, but the bed was comfortable and there was more than enough room to put my luggage. The bathroom was nice and the ambiance of the room was relaxing. The breakfast: They do set out coffee and doughnuts/bagels/fruit. I'm not a big bagel or fruit person, but I killed some coffee and doughnuts each morning--this was great. The staff: The staff was amazing. They were consistently friendly and super helpful, from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. The Charlesmark isn't the fanciest hotel on the block or the biggest, but it's in a great location, has a great price, and tons of charm. I really felt like I could focus on my trip outside the hotel and know that I had a clean, comfortable room to come back to at the end of each day. Would definitely stay at the Charlesmark again when I come back!

We spent the first night of our honeymoon with XV Beacon 16 years ago and returned this year for a staycation since travel is so difficult now. What a wonderful oasis in the heart of the city. Really should not have waited so long to return. I say "with" instead of "at" because you feel so well cared for, it's not just a property. What has changed in 16 years? The addition of the roof deck which we enjoyed every day. What's not changed at all? Elegant and gracious service. Beautiful rooms, delightful amenities. Even though we live very close, we got to explore Beacon Hill as visitors, returning each day to be cossetted in luxury. The room service from Moo was wonderful. Car service is gracious, (thank you Mark!) and particularly helpful during this time. A deep soaking tub was my favorite part of the suite. Oh wait, maybe it was the bed covered in Frette linens? The bathrobe? No, it was the fireplace. Caviar service in our room! Who could choose? We arrived a little beaten down by the pandemic. We left refreshed and delighted to rediscover the city we love from a new perspective.

Breakfast is ok, but the variety is relatively small, no vegetables. The hotel is only a few kilometers from Boston Airport and has a free shuttle bus. Staying here, traveling to downtown Boston, it is not very convenient to take public transportation. You need to take the hotel bus to the airport and transfer to the subway there. It is convenient to choose to take a taxi or a water taxi, but the price will be more expensive. If you carry a lot of luggage and have plenty of time, it is recommended to stay in the same brand of hotels in the city. The price is much lower, and the dining and sightseeing will be more exciting.

For my son's sixth birthday, we wanted to do something special. We live in the Boston area but wanted to have a night in the city. Last year his birthday party was canceled as everything shut down right before it was scheduled. This visit to the Seaport made up for that 100 fold! Staying at the Seaport was everything he could have wanted. From the moment we checked in, he was made to feel so special( we all were) as he and his brother were greeted by name and with gift bags! The staff was friendly and warm. The cleanliness of the rooms and hotel in general was impeccable. The pool was a highlight for him and his brother! He and we can not wait to return! He made us promise for a summer staycation!!

I’m not one for writing terrible reviews, but for practically a brand new hotel this place is not off to a good start. CONS: The rooms are extremely small with only a bed and foldable desk and chair due to space restraints. There is no closet and the full size mirror on the wall behind the sliding bathroom door fell off the wall the first hour I was in the room. It was put back in with liquid nails and was tapped back up. Hopefully that holds for the nexts guests in the room. The walls were so thin I could tell what movie the next room was watching (Rush Hour 2 if that helps anyone with this review). The water pressure was so low the morning I was leaving I could not take a shower. The picture I attached is the highest pressure I could get it at, and that’s all the way to the cold setting. Also, either lots of people smoking weed in the hotel or Snoop Dog was in a room near me. My room reeked of it on multiple occasions. Was due to Covid, but the bar (and I use that word lightly due to the size of the bar area) was only accessible to people order the finger foods on the menu. If you wanted a drink you had to take it back to your room to drink it. PROS: Staff was all very friendly and quick to resolve the issue of the mirror incident. The hotel is very modern and is visually appealing. There is a QR code in your room where you can order bar food and some drinks to go from the bar downstairs from your phone. The location is pretty good for getting around major parts of Boston. Price in my opinion was high for the little amount of what you get, but once COVID restrictions are lifted and the rooftop bar is reopened I would say it would be priced fairly.

The hotel is near Chinatown. After drinking the Le Real Estate, it is not far to the Quincy Market. I haven't lived in a youth hostel for too long. During this business trip, there were no suitable hotels around. I didn't want to live too far, so I set a bed for 6 people. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming. The bathroom is at the door of the room. It is spacious and sanitary for one person, and also has privacy. The restaurant is well-equipped, you can make your own food in the evening, and there are many foods shared by people. Breakfast is free, except for meat and eggs, which can basically meet the needs of breakfast.

This isn't a hotel, it's a hostel. The single rooms are very small, you can't swing a cat. What's more worrying is the lack of hygiene in the hotel during Coronavirus - there were hairs by the sink when I checked in. Also, I know its standard practise to give a credit card as a deposit. A coupe of days after checking in, there was a rogue transaction for $1200 to Best Buy which I managed to cancel, so best to keep checking your credit card transactions when giving your card details to any hotel. There are much better hotels in the area with comparable prices, such as the Club Hotel in Boston with bigger rooms and better hygiene. Avoid the Found Hotel Boston Common!

When I checked in at the hotel, she told the front desk that she wanted a quiet room. She saw that I liked the upper floors and arranged for me to the 17th floor. After entering the room, it was okay overall, but when I saw the sand-like marks in the sink and the sink when I went to the bathroom, it looked a bit uncomfortable. After returning the next day, the room was cleaned. Although the sink and the pond were not completely cleaned, the traces were almost gone. After staying there are many privileges, free soup or something. But daily fruits are not seen at the front desk every day. I have been to the gym but one of the bicycles failed to start. But the rest of the equipment is good, although the personal yoga space is a bit small outside. Overall, nearby activities are very convenient. Service attitude is also very correct.

The hotel is in a fairly central location. The check-in time is almost just after Christmas, and there are quite a lot of guests. When check-in in the afternoon, the queue is at least forty or fifty minutes. , Leading to crowding, queuing is very bad. The access for Marriott members is also not open, and my Marriott Gold Card does not have fast-track access or preferential treatment. When booking a hotel, because Ctrip ’s price is more cost-effective, I did n’t make a reservation through the Marriott app. As a result, when I arranged the room, I was given a regular room, and I booked a suite with Charles River view. At that time, the whole mood was about to explode, and I contacted Ctrip. Ctrip said that their order was not wrong, and it was the responsibility of the hotel. Later, I had to go back to the front desk to queue up. After communicating with the lobby manager, the manager said that the information on the booking order might be wrong, so I did not arrange it and helped me adjust to the Charles River View Suite. After an afternoon of tossing around, the big and small bags finally checked in after going up and down. The hotel's [Charles River View Suite] is still very beautiful. The windows of the rooms are very large. Every day you can see the sunset, which is very suitable for taking pictures. There is more than 60 square meters of space, a sofa area, a writing desk, and an extra-large bed. There is room for large and small luggage. There is nothing in the refrigerator of the minibar, there is no executive courtesy in the suite, and the Marriott Gold Card only has two bottles of mineral water per day. There doesn't seem to be a supermarket near the hotel. There is a coffee shop on the second floor where you can buy some drinks and snacks. Regarding parking, valet parking is $ 65 a day. A waiter will help you drive the car to the door, and you can enter and leave as many times as you want. There is a pretty big shopping area across the road downstairs, and you can go shopping on foot. It is very very recommended that friends go shopping in the department store Saks 5th Avenue, which has a lot of luxury brands. Although the discount area is piled up like a vegetable market, it is very worthwhile. .
