Traditional English breakfast has grilled sausages, potato cakes, etc. The location is a bit off the beach but it doesn't matter if you hit Uber. The parking lot is at the door. The outside of the hotel looks average. After entering, the lobby is very design. There is a bar on the first floor, and there is a small river next to the bar.

Four of us had a quick one night birthday celebration in a two bed penthouse apartment and it was great. Views of the city and out to sea. Reception staff so friendly and accommodating. Parking on site for £15 and well worth it. Everything you need for a great stay. Ours had a lovely balcony, not furnished but maybe that’s a safety thing. Will definitely return. Thank you.

I spent three nights at the Lord Nelson on a business trip. My initial impressions on walking in was that it was more of a hostel than a hotel (it's not, it's a hotel). Upon checking in they handed me the remote control for the TV in the room, which I found a disconcerting. Do guests often steal from here? I'll start with the cons first: 1) The decor is incredibly tired, it just does not feel like a hotel. 2) All the heating is electric, but it didn't work in my room although they did supply a fan heater. It still meant the bathroom was cold. 3) The corridors stank of smoke and the room smelled of damp and mould. 4) There are home printed signs everywhere, it looked so unprofessional. 5) No soap or toiletries in the rooms at all. Given that such things are really not expensive this seems to be either extreme penny pinching or they don't trust their guests. Toiletries are available from the reception, but why should you have to ask? 6) The hotel bar is on the ground floor, on the final night I stayed people were drinking, singing, and shouting in there until 4am. I know this because the room I had was directly above and I could hear everything, so no sleep for me. The people in the room next to me were awake for most of the night too as I could hear them, I expect the noise kept them up too. 7) The floor of the ensuite was tiled, many of these were broken and in places the grouting has clearly come away. Given how humid the room can get due to the shower I would not like to see what was under them but I expect this was the source of the smell. 8) Had to pay in cash for the room, the card machine was "broken"... The pros: 1) It's located next to Lime Street train station 2) The staff were very friendly 3) The rooms were relatively clean, I guess you can only work with what you've got. 4) The bed was very comfortable

Great apartments right near to everything in the city centre. We parked in the car park opposite which we pre-booked to reserve a space for 24 hours.I phoned Ray the owner as soon as I parked the car and he was with us within two minutes. He showed us around and gave as much info as possible. He even supplied tea, coffe and milk. The apartment was very clean and spacious with everything you would need including iron and board, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave,tv,dvd player, radio, plenty of space to sit.The apartment could have slept about six people, but being only two of us,it felt very spacious, comfy and secure. There was plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space, mirrors, all kitchen utensils and crockery. The large bathroom was more than ample. We will definately stay here again without qyestion.Cheers Ray!!!

As you can see by my previous reviews, I visit Liverpool on a once monthly basis, and my choice of stay is always The Epic Hotel & Epic Apartments. This January visit, I stayed at 'THE HIDEOUT' on Campbell street. It is literally a HIDEOUT with the big comfy lounge & kitchen downstairs, all hidden away! The double bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs, with another bathroom downstairs. There were 5 of us and it was a girls night in, so cosy, lovely & clean was the apartment. The reception at Epic could not be more helpful, look out for Craig the manager who leads a great team and really do have great people skills and customer service. You are surrounded by great shops, Liverpool One, bars and restaurants, all within 5 minutes walk. Convenient parking only 5 mins walk away. I have now tried all the Epic Hotel & Apartments experience over the past year, though still to try 'The Movie Room'! Oh yes, Masons Restaurant just around the corner, excellent food, great staff and competively priced...all part of the Epic experience! Deborah S.

Check in was easy and quick staff were very friendly and extrovert, with helpful info and knowledge. Needed a value for money no nonsense establishment and this facility fitted the bill perfectly. I needed a clean comfortable twin room so that myself and son could crash for one night. The room was booked the night before so quite late and to be honest it was as I expected. B&B style large residence. Parking and WiFi were my main concerns and the facility was able to offer both, off street parking and free WiFi in the room. The room No 7 was a twin with flat screen TV, kettle, complimentary bottle of water, tea, coffee, chocolate, hair dryer and en-suite shower and WC with basin. The bedding and linen were clean as were the towels. The decor was basic and plain large window aspect that could do with better privacy by way of netting and or black out curtains as the light in the morning woke us up My son and myself slept well and the beds were comfortable enough though that is always down to personal preference. The only negative for me was the shower performance as in my opinion the flow and pressure of the shower could be better. It took an age for the water to warm up in the morning and the volume/flow of water was low compared to what we are used to. Hence our morning routines were extended due to longer time taken to shower effectively. Breakfast was served from 09.00 on Saturday and we needed to be leaving by then so the staff came in or had breakfast ready for 08.45 which is good customer service in my book and the breakfast was very good considering it was included in the cost of our twin room. Overall the facility was clean, tidy comfortable with friendly and helpful staff and I would stay here again if I was in the vicinity.

Despite some reservations we visited with the local area in lockdown. First impressions were poor, with automated hand sanitiser dispensers at Reception empty and also an empty Reception desk. Service when it came was friendly and efficient though and our room was clean and nicely prepared. The hotel was quiet and a good night’s sleep had by all. So we felt more positive by the morning. Breakfast was heroically staffed by a grand total of two front of house staff. Both were pleasant but clearly unable to cope with the volume of work. We were asked to find our own table, but the first three or four despite having been cleared were still dirty with crumbs and/or teacup rings from the previous occupants. We found a clean table, but the carpet around it had broken bits of what looked like poppadoms, presumably from the night before. I’m sorry, but in these times and in an area which at the time of writing is under local lockdown this laxity of cleaning just isn’t acceptable. Breakfast itself was fine, but slow to arrive. Again presumably due to the understaffing. It’s a shame as the staff we dealt with were all pleasant. There just weren’t even nearly enough of them to effectively do the job required.

A great two night stay at the Premier Inn (Liverpool One). A really warm welcome from David and he and Jose could not have been more helpful and pleasant throughout our stay there. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and rooms very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is up to the expected Premier Inn standard and again nothing too much trouble - excellent table service. Hotel is right at Liverpool One shopping area - very convenient. Feels very safe with only residents of the hotel admitted unless allowed in - and lifts and rooms will onlh work in conjunction with the room key. Would definitely visit again and would highly recommend. Thank you - especially to David and Jose!!!!!

We booked a three-person suite. The room was clean and tidy, especially the kitchen facilities were very complete and tidy. There were three washing machines and dryers in the lobby (free use). The room was packed in the morning and tasted wrong. In addition, there was coffee and chocolate in the lobby 24 hours All you can drink, there is a ferris wheel outside the hotel, but the shop is not open for three days, and there are bicycles nearby for rent. In addition, there are restaurants near the pier. The environment is very good, but it is far away to go shopping in the city center. The walk takes at least 30 minutes There is a parking lot at the basement of the hotel, 14 pounds / 晩, you can take the elevator directly to the lobby. Before checking in, you can ask the lobby to pick up the parking card before entering the gate to get off the baggage.

The location of this hotel is superb! Self-driving is very easy to find, parking is good at the door, the hotel itself does not have a parking lot, but the nearby is a large public parking lot, the last 24 hours 15 pounds. The hotel is semi-self-service. The triple room is a one-meter-eight-wide bed and a 90-centimetre-wide cot. The two can't be put together, the bathroom is small, there is no ventilation, and the room has windows but can't open. The most satisfying is the walking distance to all the attractions and shopping centers, theaters, restaurants, and the night view is beautiful!

Because from London, the same level, this room is too much, the room is large, you can store your luggage for free, it is convenient to watch the ball, turn left and walk for five minutes, there is a bus to Anfield, you can throw more than two coins, and there are cars When you are near, take the bus and remember to beckon to stop and get in the car, and ring the bell before getting off. Liverpool one is relatively close to walking. Liverpool is not big anyway. The location of this hotel is great. It ’s super convenient to go to the riverside museum, the Beatles museum, the Beatles statue, the bar, and the shopping mall. . I did n’t have breakfast so I did n’t know the breakfast. I bought the breakfast directly from Tesco. There are two nearby. The consumption is still low and great. Forgot to take a photo of the hotel, it is exactly the same as the introduction details anyway. It is also very convenient to go to the station. Too much luggage is just a few minutes by taxi. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk. I have planned to come to Liverpool again and will live here

We stayed here last Tuesday in the Toffee Shop Suite as part of our Staycation as our holiday got cancelled. This hotel is fabulous! Our room was amazing and had views of the Liver Building, Pier Head and the Mersey. The room was spotlessly clean (tv remote was sanitised and wrapped in plastic which we were very impressed with) and had everything you needed for the night, including a massive bath and bathrobes which we loved. There is a tv in the bedroom too which was great. There are photographs of Everton FC in history on the walls which was a lovely touch. We had a little trouble with loud music from the suite next door during our stay, but when we mentioned it to the reception staff they were so helpful and resolved the situation quickly which we were very grateful for. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and are a credit to your hotel. We will definitely be returning and can't wait for our next stay!

Having had a bad experience with the property we had booked for a two night family stay in Liverpool, we desperately needed somewhere to stay. Olga at Base apartments was so understanding and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us out. The apartments available were clean and comfortable- just what we needed! The added bonus was that they have on-site parking and are a few minutes walk into the city centre. I guess each person’s circumstances are relative to them, but we had no problems during our stay and would happily book again. Thank you!

Stayed here with my wife for our anniversary over the bank holiday weekend,I have only given it a 3 star because first off when we went to check in we went to the office on Stanley Street and it was a mad house with all kinds a groups trying to check in. Social distancing out the window, we waited in the office for 40 minutes then I said the guy on the desk that we were going for a drink and to contact us when the room was ready. They were rushed off there feet because of bank holiday weekend, Prestige should hire more staff on occasions like that because we didn’t check in until after 5 o’clock. The room was great clean and very spacious but being where it was, it is very noisy in the night, that didn’t really bother me but builders drilling into the other side of my bedroom wall at 9Am did. On the whole it is a lovely place but more for younger party people.

Great for a large group to have a private celebration it sleeps up to 8 very comfortably. The living area has floor to celling windows, with a nice heigh celling, an open plan lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is decorated very modern and stylish, but has everything you need! I was expecting the room to be quite small but the space was incredible! There’s a tablet you can use for room service, where you order it “online” and then whatever you’ve requested will be brought up to the room! This was very handy in the morning when we were too hungover to get up for breakfast so we had breakfast brought to us in bed! You can also request an iron on this tablet too, which is always a good thing, I often say when we’re going away “do you think there’s an iron?” Because I always iron clothes to pack but they end up creased anyway! The location is great, the Qpark car park is only around the corner and is secure, we felt safe to leave our car in there, and the hotel gives 20% off the price of parking too! You’re right in the centre, next to so many different restaurants and bars, and so close to Liverpool One shopping too! Will definitely be back here again! Amazing quirky little place at such a great price too!

First time visiting Liverpool & was excited about staying in the mercure Til I got disappointed by the hotel. Check in staff were very polite & friendly, hotel room door had a temperamental lock, room was small with no fridge, No complimentary bottles of water, No hotel bathrobes, closet doors that didn’t close properly & were a nuisance while entering & leaving the room as the closet was right next to the room door, also no room service when tried to call from the room telephone, There was no instructions for the WiFi & the tv only had a few channels that could be watched. I choose this hotel as I use mercure hotels in different locations which have been a 10/10 . It saddens me to have to write a bad review for this hotel when I have always spoke highly about mercure hotels.

Me and my wife picked this hotel as it was close to where we needed to be and we thought we knew what we was getting with a Premier Inn. After checking in and receiving the key cards we went to our room to find the lovely view was tainted by the uncleanliness of the windows. I mean they were that thick with dirt it was genuinely hard to see through them. The so called free Wi-Fi didn’t even load up a Google page even with full Wi-Fi strength, and because the rooms are situated under the old Docks, no phone signal either. So we were unable to reach or be reached by our family. After a couple of hours of sat in the room with our coats on due to the heater not warming the room and the draft from the gaps around the window frame, we went down to reception to be greeted by Sophie. In all fairness if it wasn’t for this lovely lady we would of gone home there and then because we were that cold. But Sophie moved us to a different room and put in 2 extra heaters. After only 5 minutes the room had warmed up great. Sophie literally saved our trip and is a credit to be on your team, she couldn’t of done anything more for us. The issue we then had is the only 2 plug sockets in the room were then taken up by the 2 plug in heaters. So no phone signal. No Wi-Fi nowhere to charge our phones and to top it all off we couldn’t even look out the windows. Whilst on our visit we had to make 4 trips back down to reception to reprogram BOTH key cards as we couldn’t get back in our room.

The 4 of us stayed at the Sir Thomas Street penthouse for just one night (January 2nd). First let me point out to you that you have to go get the keys at a totally separate and distant location at 136 Duke Street (at least a 20 minute walk between locations), and that when you get there you won't at first find their offices because they are not actually at that address! You get to a nondescript building entrance which leads into a closed off courtyard surrounded by apartments. After a 10 minute search we finally noticed a small sign high above the entrance with a confusing arrow telling us to go around the building (into a different street!) and to the actual office. The guy at the reception was nice and friendly, we checked in and then went to the apartment. They warn you about the stairs, but to me it should have been even more clear, because it's a serious climb. The stairs are fairly narrow and really steep, and there are hundreds of them (I had to rest half way up every time before getting to the 5th floor), so if you have any sort of luggage don't stay here. The doors are super heavy and there is no way you can quietly close them (which is interesting for a place that gives out fines for being loud). The apartment looks exactly as you see it in the pictures, but that's about the only positive thing about it. The living room/kitchen has an entire wall of glass panels, and absolutely not one heating element in the vast room. We were there January 2nd and we absolutely froze our butts off!! The only (just one!) radiator for the entire living room, kitchen and main hallway space is in the hallway and it's useless! The two bedrooms have a radiator each and they heat up pretty nicely, but the heating system obviously has a timer of some sort we didn't know about, so it turned off during the night! We woke up with no heating and no hot water!!! The night before when all 4 of us wanted to take a shower it turned out to be a production, because one of the two showers is so small, and the glass wall so short even a small child wouldn't be able to pull that off. We didn't get hand towels, there were no dish-washing sponges (so you can't really use the dishes or glasses), the instant coffee in individual packages is really a lottery, because my brother-in-law got a fresh one, but my husband opened up a bad one (until then I didn't even know instant coffee can rot away like that), the doors and stairs all creak and groan, the low and slanted ceilings might look romantic and cool but believe me they are a nuisance. All four of us cracked our heads against the low ceiling, and especially the crank handles that you use to open the windows (be very afraid of those, they are steel and stick so far out away from the window that you cannot escape them)!! The handles are otherwise totally useless because it takes you about 15 minutes turning the things to get the window open a mere inch, and they make a bloodcurdling noise while doing so. The beds are super hig

We came to Liverpool for one night to visit some friends in the area and stayed at this hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff and checked into our room straight away. The room itself was fresh, modern and had a lovely view of Sefton park, which sits right on the hotels doorstep. Before we headed out to meet our friends we decided we would head to the hotel bar for a drink, it had a great atmosphere and a wide selection of beers & gins to choose from (along with all your other spirits ofcourse!). The bar staff were friendly and chatty which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Upon returning to the hotel later that evening we headed straight to our room to get our heads down, the beds comfy and the sheets crisp and fresh, we had a great sleep. Check out the next morning was easy and quick so we could get on the road. All in all a great spot to stay and drink alike, would definitely stay here again, great value for money.

I booked with Groupon and was slightly concerned when seeing some of the negative feedback. We parked in Victoria street which was 5 mins away although there is cheaper parking available. It was slightly tricky to find and the front door has been smashed so didn’t look particularly welcoming! The apartments are just round the corner from Mathew street so very central. We were given an apartment on 4th floor and was clean and well presented. I’m not sure that it is necessary to have a washing machine and we did not use the cooker! The bathroom was equipped with toiletries and there were a few coffee and tea sachets etc. Suprisingly we were not disturbed by noise but the sheets were too small for the bed and so we ended up sleeping on the mattress. Overall a pleasant stay but I did feel that the place could be improved with a few small changes. Some of the furniture was tired and broken and there was a lot of dust in the beautiful communal areas. I would not have paid a premium price as the extras were not necessary for an overnight stay

City Centre
A few minutes walk from the train station to this hotel, the location is very central. The handsome guy at the front desk was very friendly. The room was quiet and clean, with a king bed and a small bed, the bed was comfortable and suitable for a family. The bathroom is huge! I booked four hotels in Ctrip during this trip to the UK. This is the cheapest and the price is too high. There are microwave ovens, refrigerators and cutlery for breakfast. There are Chinese restaurants on the street nearby and I have authentic Sichuan cuisine. Liverpool is a city suitable for young people, very dynamic and worth visiting.
