Nothing more critical than anything else 😂 Breakfast didn't go to eat. There is basically no room for breakfast. It can only be said to be a snack. The swimming pool is not big. The first floor is quite noisy. The children are very noisy in the corridor. It is recommended to live on a higher floor.

The breakfast is good, but you can do it yourself and eat well. The food in this type of hotel in the United States is similar. The sanitary conditions are also similar. There is a big public hot tub here, which reminds me of a science fiction film, you can try it if you like it! Bring a swimsuit.

Overall the stay is great. Location is good near beach, near restaurants and supermarket. It was advertised as it is. My kids are impressed with the room - clean and spacious Breakfast provided - the spread is not bad Service - the staff are helpful and warm especially Jane and Christine For Christine, she helped us to get a cab upon the day of check out. Uber cancelled on us few times which we are going to SAn Francisco International Airport. Or else we will miss the flight. Temporary booking, the hotel location is by the sea, breakfast is very simple, starting at 8 o'clock. The room is much larger than the one introduced and also offers a folding single bed, although not required. Can't burn hot water, the front desk said that you can go to microwave heating, only when breakfast.

We had an excellent stay! We live in Silicon Valley and go to Santa Cruz all the time. Occasionally we stay overnight. We have tried a few places and I loved Ocean Pacific Lodge. I booked a room with two king beds and didn't realize that it was two rooms with a king bed in each room as well as a tv in each room. The bathroom and sink area separated the two rooms. This was a delightful surprise as I had forgotten my earplugs and my husband's snoring usually has us in two separate rooms due to lack of sleep on my part! The hotel actually had cute little bags in the bedrooms with earplugs so I might have been okay. The toiletries could have been a little better with shampoo and conditioner. There were shower caps, soap, shower gel, lotion. The bathroom had a huge jacuzzi as well as a shower stall and toilet. The sink area was outside of the bathroom which is always convenient when he is showering and I am trying to put on makeup. The room(s) were clean and everything worked. It was quiet. The beds were super comfortable. We went to sleep with me watching what I wanted on my tv and him in the other room enjoying the whole bed to himself watching what he wanted on tv. It was a great stay and it will definitely be the place we go to each overnight getaway we do. Some people I read complained about it being slightly outdated and overpriced. That is ANY coastal town for the most part. You are going to pay for the location. Santa Cruz is full of motels and inns. Everything is overpiced and for the most part, everything looks like it needs a major facelift. Ocean Pacific Lodge is in a fantastic location as it's a short walk to the wharf and boardwalk and a short walk downtown. You are in a good middle place that feels safe. It's easy to find and to get in and out of. Highly recommend.

Waiting in line for coffee was an annoyance but still didn’t diminish the luxury feel of my stay. The largest inconvenience was the gates after 10. My first time someone was waiting there right away, but the second time I had to exit my vehicle and call from the buzzer to no answer. I only got voicemail. Eventually got in, but I was very uncomfortable in that dark area by myself, and it took long enough for someone else to pull in behind me. I appreciated the super convenient filtered water and laundry amenities that I wish were standard everywhere. I asked for a printed receipt, but their printer was down and they assured me I’d get an email, which I haven’t. Trip.com does not seem to have registered that I completed my stay, so there is something iffy among their booking and trip.com’s ledger.

I really enjoy all the stays I have here. The manager is really good at her job and very attentive. If ever something should arise she is very nice and helpful if it’s just a recommendation as to where I should eat or how to get to a destination quickly. She always has great ideas. The rooms are very clean and attended to. I have experienced allot of the hotels in the vicinity and nothing compares. I will continue to satisfy all of my needs for a hotel stay here. Breakfast is a real treat and I have come to depend on it now as I have always had a pleasant experience. Waffles, eggs, and cereal that’s hot or cold is enough to always have a variety. Very nice with code to top off a perfect start for my day. Thank you Sure Stay for your excellent service.

My first Fairfield experience for just one night using my Platinum status with Marriott. The check-in was very pleasant and the staff on duty were indeed very nice and hospitable. Room was nice and spacious which made the family feel happy. Appreciated a bath tub in our 2 Queen Room. Parking was in a gated covered garage which felt very safe and secure. Loved the experience at the pool. Was a good size and very clean. Hot tub was a plus point. Gym was small but function for just a short stay. Breakfast the next morning was great. Exceed my expectations and they even had waffles!! Overall, a very good experience and would come back again in future.

Check in was easy and they had everything ready once we arrived around 5pm. The hotel general areas and room were very clean. There is a free breakfast but we decided to go to McDonalds and Ferrell's Donuts, which are both just a minute walk away. Parking was $10/day. Let me remind you that this hotel has no door, so you can't put things in the car when parking, it is very unsafe, there is no door, there is no doorman and hotel administrator. I just lost my stuff and put it in the car. There may be outsiders like the tramp entering this parking lot. The hotel room is near the curb, my room is on the curb, so. The noise is there and the room is small. The beds are very good, the beds are large, there are coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators. The facilities are relatively complete. The bathrooms have high water pressure and the baths are comfortable. Hotel facilities are too old. Cleaning service is normal. The help desk can also basically answer your questions. My only bad experience is that the things I put in the car have been stolen, and I still report it to the local police station. I asked to return the room without consent.

Spacious rooms with a giant kitchen and eating area separated with a door. Reminds me of an apartment from my younger days. I travel for business a lot and am spoiled from nice hotels so it's a dicey gamble when I decide to book a cheap one. We were prepared to leave if it was terrible. For the price we were worried. It was great! They could definitely charge more. There was a little visible wear, like paint bubbles or a cracked tile, but the place was super clean, bathroom was nice. I had no complaints. It was better than I expected for the price. Having the full kitchen to make drinks and snacks in was a bonus. I've stayed here twice now and won't hesitate to again. By the way, no issues with homeless. Some locations in Santa Cruz struggle with that but I didn't see any issues here. Easy parking. Drug store and sushi across the street, and a quick Uber to downtown where our concert was. Check in/out was quick and easy.

The front desk is Indian, but it may be Latin American, they still can't get out. The attitude at the front desk is still good. The motel is relatively small with only a total of more than 20 rooms. The room is small, but the bath is hot enough. However, the quilt on the bed was covered with a blanket directly, which made people feel uncomfortable because they didn't know how to dry. We don't like the fancy quilt, it's still white, and at least we can't see it clean. There are many places to eat when the hotel goes out for about 800 meters. It doesn't matter if you don't have breakfast. The location of the hotel is still good.

This resort/conference grounds is in a great location, and has extensive walking paths through the woods (make sure you know what poison oak looks like!). My husband and I like our longs walks so that part was nice, although the trails are not well marked. However, the room was very small---no place to sit except the bed--and smelled like very old funky carpet. For the price we were very disappointed in the room. Mini fridge was provided, but no microwave--very inconvenient not to be able to even heat up a cup of coffee. They offered to rent me a microwave for $15/day!! Seems very unreasonable, especially because the restaurant on-site was only open for dinner. Luckily town was only a 10 minute drive away. We also had a terrible experience in their supposedly ”nice” restaurant. Terrible service, food was bland, and when they brought our bill she handed us TWO tickets--she had rung up someone else's dinners on my credit card in addition to ours! Wouldn't you notice when you handed someone two credit card bills at one table? The staff did not seem very concerned about this at all (maybe they make mistakes like that frequently??). Very shabby treatment. I lived in Santa Cruz for 10 years some time ago, and I know the property has been there a very long time---they think the have a reputation as 'top-shelf' resort in the area, but I would definitely disagree.

Never had to write this bad of a review. Terrible experience for the what I spent on. First front reception impression was bad. 2 receptionists, one on the phone helping a lady with an issue. She seemed very stressed. The gentleman helping the rest of us making a line. When it was my turn, my card wouldnt go through. When the lady receptionist was done with the call she seemed like she was about to get a mental breakdown. He then decided to try my card on her side and was successfully processed. He didn’t explain or gave me any instructions about the key. Key needed to work the elevators and power in the rooms I had to figure it out on my own. He Didn’t offer or explained parking, I went back after we unloaded our stuff drove around and found out there was no place to park. The receptionist pretty much just processed my card. I stayed 3 nights and no one went into my room to take trash or pick up the dirty towels. Only thing they did was put a set of clean towels the night before my check out day and that’s about it. I was given an accessible room. I did not ask for one. A light on a night stand were unplugged. Found multiple lotto tickets inside the pull out bed. Toilet paper handle was broken. By the way…..what kind of bar closes at 8? The bartender didn’t seem professional or welcoming. When checking out I was asked how I wanted my receipt. On paper or email. I told her I rather get an email. I checked out around 8am and it’s 435pm and I haven’t received my email. The only people I will say were amazing at their job were the valet guys. They were friendly, helpful and did their job.
