We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

The journey, the queue time of Jiuqu River, and the time to buy the boat ticket are just as she expected). We can play Jiuqu River bamboo rafting + Tianyou Peak at our own pace in two and a half days; we can also eat as soon as we arrive at the homestay on the first day (order the dishes on the high-speed rail, and the driver will pick us up at the station), order a meal on Tianyou Peak on the second day, and have lunch when we go down the mountain at 2 pm. I have to thank Yishanbanshui for its thoughtfulness + private kitchen service. As the first stop in Fujian, the children don’t want to leave 😂 and want to stay longer. It should also be blessed by the golden gradient ~ Jingbao cat. It’s a good experience to travel during off-peak hours, but I didn’t get to see Impression Dahongpao because it stops performing one month before the Spring Festival every year. We asked about a good place to hike and they sent us the location of the ticket booth - about a ten minute drive from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was small but filling. Xiaoke is particularly intimate, giving us a detailed plan of the tourist attractions, the introduction of the hotel around the places to eat not only have local characteristics, the price is also very affordable. In the peak season like May 1st, Xiaoke can also help me buy tickets and do not increase the price. It is really rare. Even at two o'clock in the morning, he is still worried about us.
