After a hotel down the road and Utica lost our reservation 6 hours after we made it decided to check out this property. Oh So Glad. Michelle was the hotel Ambassador that took my reservation and she went Above and Beyond in every way imaginable. Quoted us a fair market rate price Shared over the phone all the amenities and perks. So we booked two rooms. Fast forward to Friday the 13th I showed up to pick up the keys and was warmly welcomed by a fine young man named Paolo. Truly a one of a kind gem. He honored me with recognizing I was a Hilton Rewards member provided water and cookies give me a tour of the lobby and told me we have fresh hot coffee 24/7. The property was immaculate. The rooms were comfy cozy and quiet The breakfast bar was staffed completely and all the food was fresh hot and clean. Plus the convenience of being within walking distance of Walmart Starbucks and Jersey Mike's made this win-win

Let's start by saying we booked a 2 room suite for 3 nights (king and 2 double). When we went to check in we were told there were none and split our family into two separate rooms for the first night. The second night we were moved to a suite, but not as what we reserved, and our autistic son was not too happy having to sleep on a pull out couch! We asked to talk to a manager upon checkout and was advised there were none on duty that day and was assured we would get a call the next day from one. Well, it has been weeks and no call. Additionally we asked that the room was to be charged to a different card than what was used for the reservation and that didn't happen either. We've reached out several times via phone to resolve, each time promised a call back from the manager, each time no call. The facility was filthy and you would think they would pay more attention to cleanliness during the pandemic. Each day we passed the same coffee spill on the tile floor by the elevator., and there was no hand sanitizer to be found, even by the self-serve breakfast bar. Even after contacting IHG Corporate we were assured contact within 48 hours, has been 5 days still no call. Avoid this place as if it was an infected person walking up to you without a mask! Gave 1 star because no stars was not an option.

The hotel okay the carpet where my room was located did not lay flat needed to be tightened. I almost tripped on it a couple times while walking to my room. There was no coffee for the coffee maker For next morning so I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room did not work. The man at the desk was aware of the phone not working and stated he would get coffee for me which never happened. Saturday evening you could smell cannabis in the hall which was a non smoking hotel. Sunday morning during check out I went to the front desk to tell them the toilet was not working and to get a cart to load my car, I did not find anyone at the desk or at the cafe. When I went back into the room after loading my car to check make sure I didn’t leave anything the bathroom floor was flooded but I could not call the desk since my phone wasn’t working and no one was around in the halls. This hotel needs employees that can be around to help it’s guests! Also phones in the room are mandatory! For the amount I paid for two nights I could have stayed somewhere better and at least had coffee! I won’t be staying at a Marriott any time soon!

My spouse and I were in the Utica area over a weekend in December 2021 celebrating my brother's birthday (at the Dave & Buster's next door) and had the opportunity to spend at Saturday night at this hotel. We arrived at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon and were able to check in. Our check-in process went smoothly, our room (#422) was clean and comfortable, and we were able to eat a decent breakfast the following morning. No major complaints. The faucet in our bathroom was really loose but it was just a sign of the hotel's age. One thing about our room that we did notice was that we couldn't open the blinds all the way up. Something about the chain mechanism only allowed us to have our blinds open halfway, which was slightly annoying. I appreciated being able to use one of the business center computers to surf the Internet. This hotel has an indoor pool which looked okay, but we didn't use it because there was no hot tub (we always love being able to use hot tubs in hotel pool areas... slightly disappointed that this hotel didn't have one). A big frustration, though, was the noise level... nothing that the hotel staff can do much about. There are signs saying that the public areas are "closed" after 10 p.m., but I don't know how much that can be enforced. There were some loud guests on our floor late at night as we were trying to get to sleep which was frustrating, but after I said something to them in the hall, they quieted down. Overall, the hotel itself was just fine (despite the loud patrons) and I'd have no qualms about staying there again.

The staff was amazing from the moment they welcomed us to the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean and near all types of food and shopping choices. I would definitely stay again if in the area. The only thing I missed was flavored creamer options for my coffee at breakfast in the breakfast room.

I booked for location. Hottub and full breakfast. I didn't realize hottub was down for renovation. My fault. Nothing online says they are not serving a full breakfast. Just apples yogurt etc. Nothing really. For those reasons I'm disappointed as I specifically picked a hotel fir these amenities and there are so many hotels in this area. With that said; room was newly renovated and clean. Call hotel before you book if u want to ensure your getting amenities.

1.  I appreciated the overall cleanliness, and the place was quiet.  The toilets seemed to have a "medical grade" flush, and this was appreciated.  I also appreciated a bathroom fan. 2.  Ruth (clerk originally from the UK) was OUTSTANDING.  I hope they keep her on.  I've seldom met a person so helpful and friendly. 3.  I could smell cigarette smoke in the hall and a little bit in my room one night.  I didn't call the desk, because I'm not sure what they could have done.  I run into this almost every time I stay in a hotel, because people are *****s.  I wish there was a technology that could pinpoint these people, and I wish they could be evicted.  I've had more than my share of sleepless nights due to my sensitivity to odors like this.  The elevator smelled heavily of pot one time.  Again, people are just selfish. 4.  I was on the 3rd floor, and the shower water pressure was bad.  The water was warm at best.  Maybe engineering could take a look at this (I e-mailed the hotel about this). 5.  I only asked my room to be made up once, and I never got new bath towels.  I made do with the hand towels and asked for a bath towel the next day (because my room wasn't made up).  I guess they refresh rooms only upon request, which makes sense and saves money.  I have no problem with that, but one ends up having to request toilet paper and towels. 6.  The grounds look a little shabby with huge ****s growing. 7.  I didn't watch a lot of TV, but when I did, the DirecTV kept cutting out.  This was disappointing.  I e-mailed them and recommended they look at this. 8.  The AC got good and cold, and I appreciate that.  However, it seemed to never want to turn off unless I raised the temperature quite high. 9.  I had a disconcerting issue with the door one day.  I had left the room for a quick trip to my car and heard the door close behind me.  I came back up to see the door ajar, and it turns out it hadn't closed fully due to an issue with the latch striker plate becoming unscrewed.  Fortunately, my valuables were untouched.  I called Ruth, and she had it fixed immediately.  I'm now wondering how long it wasn't working properly. 10. Outdoor trash cans were overflowing. 11. The location is good with many food and shopping options within 3 minutes.

We are a military family who traveled home to visit for the holidays. We had two rooms. One had to be changed 3 times. Window and door were both cracked and we arrived after 10pm that night. Toilet didnt work, tv didnt work, sheets were dirty, carpet was dirty. The bathroom faucet wasnt working. And the other room had to be changed twice. The walls were very thin. The rooms are very worn. There was a constant smell of ********* and it was very noisy with people jumping, walking and talking all day and night. We stayed because I waited too late to book a place that was pet friendly and everything was full. The first night that we were there, the man at the desk was super nice. Within in the next two nights, we came in at about 5 am because we had something going on with family. We were supposed to check out but we needed sleep. I went to talk to whom I later discovered was the manager or the GM. He said that my dogs had been barking all night, (which they only bark if someone is at the door or trying to get in the door). He told me that we could not stay, which was fine with me. But he was EXTREMELY RUDE for no reason. I spoke to the guy at the desk when we were checking out the next day and he told me that he is always that way. I would not recommend my military counterparts to ever visit this hotel. Or anyone else for that matter. Not until they update it and change things, number 1, changing the GM. Have a great day!

My family of 8 visited this hotel as part of a hockey tournament. As a family of 8 we need the MAX amount of room we can get in a room and reserved a 2 bed "suite" as their website called it. Their website clearly says that this room as a "separate seating area" with a pull out couch. Like 99% of hotels that advertise this, this usually means there's a separate room. All there was, was a couch on the far side of one of the beds. There were no pictures of this room on their website either, its blank. Appears they really do try and mislead you. We like the separate room so our younger kids can go to bed early and the older ones stay up a bit later, very hard to achieve in a room of this style. The house keeping staff were also very rude. The Saturday morning of our visit, before we left (8am) we asked that our room be cleaned in the morning. We returned at 1pm, room not cleaned. We started preparing lunch when there was a knock on the door with the staff wanting to clean. We told them we were having lunch and they persisted, indicating they wanted to go home and they had to do our room....uncomfortable! On our last day, we asked for a late check out so our 6 kids could use the pool and it was no issue. 30 minute prior to our departure, there was another knock on the door - housekeeping - they were rude, telling us we should not be there and they needed to clean the room. We told them we had a late checkout and it was a Sunday night, there was no way that they were going to be busy with check in's that night anyways, they stormed off. The pool was nice and warm, but never had towels. We went down on Sunday at opening and there were no towels, one would assume you would do the laundry over night and when you open the pool in the morning it would be fully stocked. The breakfast was good and the hotel was in good shape.

Hilton Tru is the TRUTH!! Clean and WiFi works. I recommends Hilton Tru to anyone traveling! I love that if you forget your shower gel it’s a whole tube in the shower along with shampoo and conditioner! Not the small bottles that’s gone in one use.BRAVO👏😎
