I stayed at Hotel Firenze 2000 while visiting Florence during college, back when it was still a hostel. I really enjoyed my stay then, and I enjoyed my second stay with them this summer. I arrived to Florence in mid-July and was staying at an apartment near the Duomo that was just not for me (too hot with no AC, and way too touristy). So I decided to return to HF2000, and was not disappointed. The staff was as friendly and helpful as I remembered and the accommodations were even better since the ‘upgrade’ to a hotel. The hotel is ‘off the beaten’ path, which means it’s nice and tranquil, but still easy to access the city center on foot or by bus. It’s very close to some wonderful neighborhoods that are a bit more local and have fantastic restaurants. The hotel still has some vestiges of its hostel days like laundry available on site (!), which was great for me since I was staying for 3 weeks. The bar and outdoor courtyard are also very nice to have and the breakfast is nice. Good continental offerings—typically a pastry fruits cereal, yogurt etc. And of course coffees. The rooms are plain and simple (if you need a 5 start hotel when you are on vacation it would not be the right fit for you) but they are very comfortable and they keep everything very clean. They also have lovely memory foam pillows, which is an amazing find in Italy—often the pillows are hard and flat at hotels here. I would recommend without hesitation, particularly because of the wonderful staff.

I don’t know that I’ve ever left a bad review, but I feel like I should give some warning to future travelers. Pros: rooms are nice, comfortable bed, relatively quiet. The garden was nice but made unbearable by mosquitos in summer. Cons: really, really, really disorganized and unprofessional management. When I arrived no one was at reception, the automatic door with code was broken, and when I called the backup number taped to the door, no one picked up. (This was mid afternoon, during reception open hours). I had to wait almost two hours in off and on rain, getting myself and my luggage soaked, before the person I finally got a hold of (using yet a different phone number) picked up and sent someone. Florence is a small, compact city— I’m not sure how it took that long for someone to arrive, coming from anywhere in the city. I wouldn’t have minded coming back in a few hours, but communication was poor and it was unclear if, or when, anyone would be arriving, and the neighborhood, while not far from the city center, is far enough to not want to haul luggage. Finally, I was asked to pay for my room (again), after I had clearly already paid online. Communication from management was exceedingly poor. The wifi never worked. Breakfast looks aesthetically nice, but the pastries were hard and stale and cold, fried eggs (?) also not really edible. I do not recommend staying at this B&B.

Wow wow wow!! I stayed here for 2 nights with my parents and we cannot stop talking about it!! It was the BEST experience. I miss it!! First of all, Donatella is a wonderful, intelligent, kind, and genuine hostess. She has that rare quality where it feels like you've known her forever. I mean seriously, it felt like I was visiting my aunt at her gorgeous home. That is the thing, it feels like home!! When we arrived in the middle of the day, Donatella welcomed us as if we have been friends our whole lives. She was so caring about my parents which meant so much to me because I had planned this trip at the last minute for them!! She made us tea and sat with us and gave us advice on where to go and what to do. Since there were three of us, I had booked us the top room. There are some stairs to go up to the top room, but Donatella noticed my parents are elderly and have a hard time with stairs so she was kind enough to give us a room on the main level so my parents wouldn't have to go up the stairs! And then she gave me my own room because it happened to be available!! HOW PERFECT AND KIND!!! The breakfast was straight out of a movie...a gorgeous setting with homemade treats and yumminess!!! The rooms are ADORABLE. It feels like you are in a country cottage, but you are really just right outside of the city! And the neighborhood is so quaint and cute and has the BEST restaurants. Donatella sent us off with treats and warm hugs. I miss her!! And I will definitely come back!! Stay here if you want to be in a perfect, magical, beautiful place with a down-to-earth homey vibe!! Ci Vediamo!!

I have been to Italy for the second time, and I have been interested in tourism for more than a month. I found a regular and affordable star hotel. You must choose an old four-star hotel. The general facilities will be more "classical" but easy to use. Newly opened international or brand five-star ratio) Those who like European tones are still worth living, and there will be some dissatisfaction, such as slightly noisy air conditioners, but it is better to wear earplugs, or to open a little wind, the hotel is next to the train station The Bologna, San Marino, and Siena I went to this time, the Buddha is the transit, as the transit is a two or three minute walk from the church is great, the room is quite large in Europe, the hardware is old but clean and tidy, the equipment is good, personalized The service reached international five-star, key storage, early check-in, baggage handling, morning call and airport drop-off, breakfast bag and initiative arrangements to help me settle the city tax and fee in advance, catching the epidemic, the hotel was nothing like what I heard When my friend was embarrassed, I shook hands first. I was very enthusiastic. I chose to stay here for an extra day because of the neighbouring hotel I used to live in. After ten o'clock came first deposit can determine, the hotel arranged for me, I was already half past ten to move over the room vacated In addition, the sights of Buddha are not far away. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the Old Palace and a few minutes to Lorenzo Hall. You can take a two-step walk to the Baihua Cathedral and then you can go to the Old Palace by the river. Many local restaurants and Chinese food can be returned on the way Choose, there is a large supermarket at the intersection next to the hotel If I return to Buddha next time, I will definitely choose this one This is the fourth hotel that Buddha has lived in before.

This season has been ranked as the top of the global hotel by Fortune, deserved. Built by the Medici family in the 15th century, the hotel’s residence is home to a large collection of works from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Nearly 50,000 square meters of Gherardesca private garden, Baroque style, scattered with a large number of sculptures. Every night drink time, the manager who claimed to be the artist came to greet him. For the first time, he painted a self-portrait for the child. The child used the "four seasons" as the title to draw a comic book rebate. Last night, he came to the children with a 2-minute stick figure pk. Great. The sound of the Soul singer sing can't be heard... Finally, the bathroom in the room is oversized.
