Visited here obviously for the people who worked hard for Meiji Revolution. The hotel is right across from the Higashi-Hagi Station, which is very convenient however, many sightseeing spots are located a little bit far. There are tours using taxi which nails all the must-go spots (be aware you have 3 or 4 choices for the routes). There is only few places you can have dinner nearby. If you are willing to go by the old school style, sightseeing on foot, I'd give 5 on location, but be prepared to spend a chunk of valuable time of your trip. As for hotel, it's a business hotel so don't expect anything fancy however, there were books about those who participated in Meiji Revolution which helped a lot. Kindness.

I went on a short trip to Hagi with my daughter who came home from afar after a long time. I couldn't make a reservation for the accommodation because it was decided a month ago, but I was relieved to get the Hagi Travel Inn somehow. When I stayed, it was very quiet along the road, and there were many restaurants nearby, which was very convenient.

I always travel here with my family every year. It is recommended that you include breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is a buffet, and dinner is a Japanese style meal. It is very rich and delicious. Children need to pay extra for sleeping on tatami mats. There is free parking. The hotel's hot spring is great 👍

There were some good points and some bad points. However, to briefly summarize my personal impressions, ”Although the price is set to exceed 50,000 for two adults per night and two meals, the service as a whole is that of an ordinary inn, and almost all the staff are elderly people. Therefore, there are some parts that I can't understand, and the inn is confused between Japanese and Western. By all means, I only want to pay about 35,000 yen. However, all the staff are working hard. I understand that you can see that you have a desire to do your best. I will write from what I think is not good. ● The food is not good. The dinner is still barely acceptable (although it is far from the auberge), the breakfast is too bad. There is nothing complicated and it is not particularly delicious. The breakfast venue is like a forest school or a large tourist hotel in the old days, with all the tables lined up on a large floor, and of course there are no partitions. Also, 50,000. Keeping the above, I don't think there is ”drinks are self-service over there”. Furthermore, even if the information staff at the breakfast venue guides us to the wrong table, we just say ”OK, OK” and exchange the room number tag. What's more, the huge insect objects that run from the lobby to the breakfast room can't be helped. I don't like eating while being glared at by a giant mantis object. There is no feeling of the inn. ● There was a so-called welcome drink at check-in, which was already with tea, sweets and lodgings before we arrived at the table. There was no guide who said ”Please have tea” or ”Please fill in XX here”. It was strange to sit down, drink, eat, and write! Isn't it possible from the price of a luxury inn? I felt that. ● From the price of a luxury inn, I was surprised to hear that when I called ”Please give me the Wi-Fi router (run cable) written in the guide”, ”Please come to the front desk”. .. ● From the price of a luxury inn, you cannot use cheap plastic cups and trash cans for washbasins, liquid soaps on the market, and thin bath towels and face towels like those of Showa tourist inns. ● I asked for a big yukata on the phone in the room before meals, but it wasn't prepared even after I returned from the meal, so when I called the front desk again, I said, ”No,” ”I brought it,” ”No, no. ”I brought it!” After all, it was delivered saying ”I'm sorry”. The male staff looked like an old man who would have retired long ago, and the conversation was so difficult that he seemed rude and drunk. Considering the price of a luxury inn, it was absolutely unacceptable. ● As you can see in the old inns, the futon is very small and the mattress is thin underneath, so it was really hard to sleep, I felt sad, and my whole body hurt. I think it's unusual considering the price of a luxury inn. ● Meals do not suit the price. It was delicious, but it looked like a delicious hot spring inn. Also, for some reason, only one copy of the item was prepared for dinner for two people. ● I had a bad feeling when I saw the photos on the official website, but the impression of the website is quite too good. The composition of the photos, the condition of the light and the angle were too good, and I felt that there was a considerable difference from the actual building or room. ● The dining venue where jazz is played is somewhat uncomfortable, and there is almost no partition from other guests' tables, so I was skeptical from the price of a luxury inn. ● I was looking at the room information about Wi-Fi, but there are proviso such as ”We are not responsible for XX” or ”Please do XX at your own risk”. It was noticeable and I didn't feel very good. The good thing is ◎ The view from the room is good. The view of boats lined up along the river near the mouth of the river is unlike any other. ◎ I didn't think the semi-open-air bath on the terrace was as bad as others wrote. ◎ I am glad that the female staff at the dining venue worked hard to serve me.

It is the perfect location for sightseeing in Hagi, where you can explore the World Heritage Hagi Castle Town area on foot or by rental bicycle. This is a seaside resort hotel surrounded by beautiful scenery with a sense of openness and the soothing scent of the sea. You can rent a bicycle from among 10 benefits such as late check-out, rental bicycles, private baths, etc., and go around ”Genzui Kusaka's birthplace”, ”Hagi Meirin Gakusha”, ”Takayoshi Kido's old house”, ”Shinsaku Takasugi's birthplace”, etc. I was. The roads are wide, flat, and well maintained, so even mamachari can ride comfortably without getting tired. Since the road with the old name remains as it is, it seems that you can run as it is now even with an old map. Hagi Castle Town is the political, economic, and cultural base of the Hagi Domain (Choshu Domain), and consists of three districts: the castle ruins, the former high-ranking samurai residence, and the former townspeople's residence. The ruins of the castle and the former high-ranking samurai estates were the political center of the clan, and at the same time, the fact that the townsfolk who had traditional handicrafts gathered in the castle town played an important role in promoting industrialization. increase. I only stayed one night on the last day of my trip to Yamaguchi, but I regret that I should have made the schedule a little more flexible because the castle town with its rich history and attractions is surprisingly large.

I have visited a lot of hot springs in Japan. This one gave me a big surprise. The environment is so beautiful. The room has an invincible sea view. The breakfast and dinner are very attentive, delicious and beautiful. The hot springs also have their own characteristics, as well as the sea rock hot springs, which are really comfortable and happy. I would recommend it to friends

First of all, when you arrive at the parking lot, you will meet you, but if you are lucky that there is no parking lot nearby, you will be guided to the place where you are empty. It's normal, but the person in charge runs in front of you and guides you (laughs) After check-in, the guide staff explains the facilities in the pipe to the elevator, pushes it to the destination floor, explains how to go to the room, and lowers your head and sees it. When you go back, the staff will line up and see you. Is there a hotel like this hospitality now? Moreover, the whole hotel is beautiful just renovated, the hot spring is comfortable, and the plan is sure to have breakfast, but the breakfast was also delicious and delicious. Really great hotel from what to what. However, if you only put on it, if you sit in the room to breathe, the door is knocked, and if you wait for your name, you can open it without permission, and the cleaning aunt has come, and the futon is there? It was confirmed in Tame. The staff who go out in front of the people are well educated, but there is no this to the back staff. I can't relax a little in a hotel that doesn't know when people come in. I was sorry that it would be a really perfect hotel if this was fixed. But overall I am satisfied
