Breakfast is just like that. Many ordinary hotels in the United States are just like that, and they barely meet the requirements. The location is not bad, two kilometers from the College of William and Mary. The room is very hygienic, especially the toilet, no need to worry. The bed was very comfortable, and I fell asleep when I was lying down. Only note: no slippers in the room, no kettle, you need to find your own way. Overall great experience!

Since I make all my reservations online, I always foolow up with a phone call to the hotel to confirm. Kevin at the front desk was terrific, friendly, curteous, professional. This hotel is set off the Parkway in a country setting. Rooms were spotless, comfortable beds, wood floors, security lightening at night. Since the owners live on premises you can get help 24/7. It was so nice getting up to have my coffee and see all the birds, and some neighboring houses that were beatiful. The pictures they post on their website are true. If you make a left out of the driveway, it will lead you to a nice country route to historic Williamsburg and also plenty of antique shops. The only con is the street can be busy so be careful pulling out. It's not loud traffic just the neighborhood. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is on the older side but lots of upgrades and well kept. The indoor pool is open until 11 and very nice.

The Holiday Inn was a great choice for our recent trip to Williamsburg. We were traveling with another family member and the two bedroom suite was a great fit for us. Each bedroom had its own bath but we share a common room with plenty of room to spread out and table/chairs to easily sit 4 people for a meal. We enjoyed two breakfasts downstairs and the breakfast staff was so warm and attentive. (When we made our reservations, you could sign up for a food plan, we didn't do it since we wanted to eat some of our breakfasts out but I believe if you did you might save a bit of money). We opted not to have a daily cleaning service but never a problem to pop by the front desk to pick up fresh towels. The front desk was helpful and cheerful and special kudos to Shakeera who not only helped us with an issue we had but all with a smile (and it was fun to discover she was fellow Jerseyan!) Parking was readily available and the workout room is small but well equipped. It was an easy drive to Williamsburg and other historic points of interest and plenty of restaurants nearby for dining or take out. We will be back!

I've coming to Williamsburg all my life, having even owned a timeshare here for 15+ years that we used regularly. I LOVE this town - it is literally a colonial museum on a large scale. I've seen the option for staying in restored area homes and taverns for rooms but this is our first stay in one. We stayed in a downstairs front room of the Chiswell-Bucktrout house facing Francis St. It's super convenient walking to the restored area and the property of C-B itself is beautiful with a garden in the back. Pluses - decent sized room with closet, desk, wing chair, 50" TV on TV stand, fridge, Keurig, wifi (unsecured - use your VPN for safety), attached bathroom with tub/shower, 4 poster queen bed. Visit was during June so it was in the 80s outside but the room was nice and cool at all times. There are rooms downstairs and up but at no time other than some door closes was I aware of anyone else in the house. If you love Williamsburg like I do, the simple/elegant construction of this house and furnishings will be appreciated. I would stay back here in a MINUTE and probably won't look to stay anywhere else on returns. There are two minor issues... First, the bed is made with a flat bottom sheet which is too small for the mattress so easily gets untucked and pulled up. Second is there is no anti-scald valve in the shower - If you're in there showering and someone in the building flushes, stand back because the shower is going to get really hot.

We checked in late. The first room we were assigned had a broken A/C unit. We told the front desk and they changed our room without question and apologized for the inconvenience. We saw the A/C unit being replaced the next morning when we left to start our day. The staff was very nice. The only complaint we had was the people staying in the room next to us were extremely loud at 2:30am. We called the front desk and they addressed the noise complaint in a timely manner. Overall the hotel was very nice and the room was very clean. We were pleased. We will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.

I think this is an absolutely amazing place to stay while in Williamsburg. We traveled as a family of 4… and it’s been a long time since we’ve stayed at a B&B, but we were so happy we got to experience this inn. It is super close to William & Mary. We were able to walk downtown in about 10 minutes, have lunch, see Colonial Williamsburg. The location is amazing. Particularly amazing if you have kids that are at the business school at W&M :) We originally reserved two rooms but the owner suggested that we have two connecting rooms. A great choice (although I would have probably preferred two bathrooms but that’s a minor point). The rooms are very simple and clean. It is very quiet too - we were expecting to hear our neighbors but honestly it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was amazing. Alex, the owner, knew that our son was a picky eater so he made sure that there was at least something my son would eat. And he ate everything! In general, the owner was also super accommodating - we arrived before noon and he was already there.. and we were able to get our room even before lunch. One side comment - parking is a little tight but only marginally so. We have a large car and struggled to get in and out a bit - but managed it just fine in the end.

This hotel is located on a bypass through Williamsburg. It is an excellent location to be able to access the colonial area, as well activities, shopping, and dining. You can walk to both Cracker Barrell and Golden Corral within minutes. The suites are large, clean, and beautifully decorated. When I saw a bus of teenagers check in and go to our floor, I thought, "oh, no." The room was sound proofed well, and I never heard them traveling by our door. We were in the 2nd room from the desk on the 1st floor, and I thought the location to the breakfast room, while an advantage for eating, might lend itself to more noise. Not a problem. The staff was friendly. Even the grounds worker was welcoming. I believe his name was Wilbur. Nice guy. I highly recommend this hotel. It felt like the pre-COVID days!

We had 5 units for our family of 17. The resort itself is beautiful with a great pool. We enjoyed the pickleball courts. The location to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Water Country is great. However, the rooms themselves are sorely in need of updates. We asked for refurbished rooms in advance and were told all rooms have been refurbished. Not so. The carpets were old old. The worst was the deck on the top floor - moldy and extremely worn and covered with pine needles. The outdoor tables were nasty. We were a bit embarrassed that these rooms were our adult children’s Christmas presents. We made the best of it and had a good time.

I didn't have high hopes for this hotel. I am super picky with hotels. I don't care about the brand name but it MUST be clean and updated. Most of the hotels I saw in Williamsburg were older (understandable) and I was getting frustrated. I came across this Holiday Inn and since we needed 2 rooms, the price was reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised. Both of our rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the air was perfect (not freezing in the middle of the night like some places get). We stayed 4 nights and took advantage of the breakfast every morning. It was pretty bare bones but we made due and were thankful it was even offered. Thank you for a quiet, clean stay! If we are ever back in the area, we will stay again.

My family stayed on the third floor. We actually chose to just use the stairs since the elevator was on one end of the hotel and our room was on the opposite. It was convenient since the stairs let out at the back parking area and we were always able to find a park. The room was very clean, I have no complaints about that. The beds were comfortable, the mini fridge worked great, and we always had towels. I did opt for the partial room service, they will ask you at check in. That worked just fine, we had clean towels and trash was emptied. That's really all we need. Pool was okay, we didn't use as much as we thought we would, but that was due to other guests being extremely loud. Breakfast was nice. It included waffles, eggs, sausage, 2 types of cereal, juice, small muffins, yogurt and prepackaged oatmeal. It was good enough for us and got us going in the morning. All things considered, I would absolutely stay here again. It was clean and safe and a good location.

I had planned a night away from life for my other half, as he works so hard. I had everything planned.... sat was check in (at another location i will not disclose) at a bed n breakfast, I woke up that morning to an email stating "rooms can only be booked for two night stay min on weekends". THATS IT !! no apologies or anything ... I franticly called around about 5-6 places of nice people until i got Omar, After explaining my situation he asked me to hold on a sec, I was on hold for a little, he would keep checking in on me to make sure i was ok. He then came back and with an affordable rate, It wasn't till I arrived that i realized the extent of what he had done for me !! I was honestly blessed !! He had arranged things so we had a single bed, on the end, I can honestly say I cried I was so thankful, The decor at the hotel is already a romantic setting with spacious rooms ! the staff where all amazing, the breakfast was really good. We will be staying again!!

I agree with few others … the reviews or stars don’t match up to the experience we had . The rooms were actually very good and spacious . We booked a suite kinda room and had ample space for kids and us . We had 2 beds , one sofa bed , 2 bathrooms which was a bonus , 2xTVs etc . There was a swimming pool too. Breakfast isn’t the best though . Dunkin / and few other breakfast spots are pretty close .. Location was good . Lots and lots of restaurants in walkable distance . There was also a mini golf for kids , almost next door . Hooters , Thai, Mexican restaurants in walkable distance . Service was a bit slow , especially in the main lobby .. overall liked it , for the price .. thumbs up 👍
